I discovered Maria's Tacos through Google reviews. This tiny, local "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant serves some of the best tacos I've ever had. I tried the fish and steak tacos, but I'll definitely be back for more. It's located near UCSB, and the lady at the counter was very nice.

So I was on a bike ride from SB to IV on an electric bike that didn’t work, which is basically just a SUPER heavy bike. so I’d worked up quite an appetite by the time I arrived at this taco shop. I asked the staff to please make me three different tacos, chefs choice. They seemed to enjoy the challenge. And oh my god the tacos were SO GOOD. I mean holy. I sat on a little grassy slope around the corner and became one with the tortilla gods.

Good deals, handmade tortillas, asada is amazing, friendly staff! Absolutely cleared maria ate the cooking up

Decided to try this place, and i was highly impressed-Tacos are amazing! The steak taco was packed with flavorful meat, and the shrimp taco was by far my favorite - it's a must try!

I wish there was a 6-star option. These tacos and burritos are ridiculously delicious. I didn't think I would finish that beast of a burrito, but it was too good to put down

I decided to try the Quesabirria here and was very disappointed. The workers were very friendly and nice, but the food was such a let down. Despite the meat being very tender, there was no flavor to be found anywhere. If the Quesabirria at Zocalo is too spicy for you, you should try it here.

It's unfortunate that your rude and inconsiderate behavior doesn't make up for your lack of people skills. You blocked us into a parking spot while someone was still in the car. Can you explain how calling us rude and liars instead of just asking us to move was the best way to handle the situation? It's baffling to think that, just because you own a business, you feel entitled to treat people poorly. Nice try at making excuses for your lack of etiquette, all while hurling insults at paying customers. No worries—we won't be coming back to your "business." Frankly, I'm stunned by your response.
