The food was great and definitely worth the money. The restaurant is located within Ithaca Mall. We ordered nachos and a chicken burrito, and both were excellent! The staff was pleasant but not overly attentive, and the environment was acceptable but a little dark with dirty menus. Overall, we would definitely go back for the food!

The fajitas were phenomenal - maybe the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was also beautiful and lovely. My expectations were low because of the mall location, but WOW the food is tasty.

This restaurant is in a mall but once you get in its like any other restaurant. They have authentic Mexican food. The portions are huge and everytime I've been here I have food to take home. Everything I've had so far has been delicious. Even when they are packed, the wait is never too bad. Everyone who works there seems to be happy. And the overall atmosphere is good. I will definitely eat here again..

The food is AMAZING! Not a single bit was left over!! In addition to our great waiter, Rafael, checking in on us and providing great service, three other employees checked it! All in all, this is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is great, and the food is tasty! LOVE the chips and salsa!!

I love a good nacho and these chicken fajita nachos didn't disappoint... I could nit pick about the presentation but the flavor was there.. I'll just ask for some jalapeños next time. I like my dishes caliente! The chips and salsa came in clutch!! #ForkJab All Thru This 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

Zocalo Mexican Bar & Grill serves up really good food with fresh flavors, and I enjoyed my meal overall. I did notice the vegetarian options were a bit limited, so that could be improved for broader appeal. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was okay — comfortable, but nothing that especially stood out. All in all, a solid spot for good Mexican food, and I’d come back again!

Thought we'd try some Mexican food in New York. It was pretty good for the area. The Birria Tacos were tasty if a little greasy. The chicken fajitas were about average, and the onions and bell peppers were cooked better than usual. The queso was good. The salsa was about average. It's worth trying if you're in the mood for Mexican food

The fajita queasadilla was bland and the chicken was rubbery, the accompanying rice was mushy and bland as well as the refried beans tasted like canned beans with liquid smoke in them, awful. We got a loaded cheese dip that had a lump of grey chewy meat in it that I am hoping was just poorly prepared steak. There was also an @1" straight black hair stuck on the salted rim of my margarita. The fried ice cream was the closest to decent thing but only after we pulled off the greasy, chewy fried exterior. I am shocked the reviews are so high. I wasn't expecting anything exceptional but this was honestly just bad food and the hair 🤢

This is incredible gentrified so if you’re looking for authentic mexican food, this is not it. The drinks, on the other hand, are delicious. What I got was something from their fall menu. I forgot the name but it had Pomegranate, vodka, lime, agave. Very strong but still tasty.
