Great place for a nice drink with friends! The only flaw (or rather, two) is that the pumpkin spritz was truly awful; I've had better toothpastes. Secondly, I must have been there on a terrible night, but there were too many kids for my taste (maybe some people like it, but I'm no P. Diddy). Overall, it's a great place!!

A pub in the center of Ivrea that has recently made a concerted effort to revive the nightlife of the sleepy city of Ivrea. Congratulations! Better to drink than to eat, the place rightly maintains its historic Western style.

The place is nice and welcoming, but not overly well-maintained. The food was very good, and the beer was very well-drained. The bill was fair for what you get. If you're in Ivrea and want to spend an evening with friends, I highly recommend this place.

Disappointing service. You're FORCED to pay for everything in one transaction on the weekend (it's Friday, after all), and we were only informed of this after we'd finished our meal (by law, it should be disclosed beforehand). Signs are fine, but they need to be CLEARLY visible (perhaps even on the menu). The only positive note: the company of the cats and the kindness of the young waitress.

We were not allowed to do so, in a very unfriendly manner. We were very surprised because we didn't move a single seat yet. We only asked if we could do so. The waitress responded in a very nasty way and even started shouting at us at the end. So we left and will never go back to that place again. A pity, because we have been there before a few times in the past and really liked the place. For the visits before this last one I would give 4 stars for atmosphere and service. For the last visit one single star would even be too much. So altogether I would rate the atmosphere at 3 stars, but service is only worth 2 stars.

Not recommended. Affordable prices. This was our first time here, and I think it will be our last. The welcome wasn't great. We ordered two sandwiches; one with a cutlet arrived with a "Fassona" burger; since we don't usually point out these things, we overlooked it. To order a 10-piece fried food package for €5, we had to call the waitress twice, and okay, understandable; the place was busy and the waitresses were busy. The dish arrived, and after we'd had time to try a piece, we were asked to pay immediately. Checking the receipt, the fried food was the one for €20 for €9, so we complained that we hadn't ordered it that way. The blonde waitress, unkindly and without even apologizing, brusquely replied that we should have noticed before eating it, and that the difference was obvious. Having never been to this place before, the differences between one dish and another weren't so obvious to us. I'm sorry, but one opportunity was more than enough to make me choose not to go there again.
