The food was delicious! Fast service! Fun atmosphere! Friendly staff! This was our second time here and still impressed and I love that they are open late!

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know, I had lunch today here at Talkin tacos. Let me tell you I'm very skeptical about eating Mexican food and tacos here in florida. I grew up in Los angeles, and I'm in Mexico all the time I know what good tacos taste like. All I can say is these tacos are off the chart good. I was looking for a really good place that served birria tacos and some more authentic new style tacos this place has it all. I decided to get the three Taco combo where you can mix and match your tacos. I was surprised that it's all the same price it didn't matter which Taco you paired up to make your three tacos. I went with the birria taco with the consomme juice to dip it in which was one of the best birria tacos I've had. The second Taco was the Mahi-Mahi taco that had a very sweet fresh sauce on it and pickled onions. The third was the shredded chicken taco again with a sweet sauce that was just off the chart.. another great thing is I asked for some water and they brought me out a free bottle of water that was ice cold.. I've never been to a restaurant where they give you a free bottled water. Normally they try to charge you $3 for a bottle of water. Our server was Muhammad. He walked me through the whole order process on the kiosk and he brought out the tacos right to my table. Muhammad was one of the best servers I've had at a Mexican restaurant . I will definitely tell my friends and family about this place way to go guys.. Ralph

Holy Frijoles. This place is absolutely amazing on every level. The atmosphere is colorful and gives good vibes with bright colors contrasted with dark colors, beautiful murals , and fun Neon signs amd even a courtyard with outdoor seating. This lighthearted and friendly atmosphere was paired with fantastic quality tasty food that made you want to try everything on the menu. Especially the southwest tacos! The service was fast and courteous, prices were reasonable, amd food was delicious. The food makes you want to stay there all day and eat. (we are going back tonight) I highly recommend eating here.

We were only in Jacksonville overnight, but I googled best Mexican places to eat. A couple came up so we went to one that was closer to our location. Oh, and I sat down, I took a look at the menu, took a look around the restaurant, and we got up and left. Got back in the car and pulled up talking tacos and drove the extra 15 minutes. It was absolutely well worth the drive! The food is unbelievable! Fresh and delicious and everything we were craving. Staff is very friendly atmosphere is awesome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody that is in the Jacksonville area near the Mayo Clinic. We will definitely be back our next trip in. Thanks guys, great job! Round 2! Back in Jacksonville but now and the Mayo Clinic/Marriott hotel and need food delivered. Again they did not disappoint! The food was hot and fresh and unbelievably delicious! Thank you so much guys.

The tacos are very tasty and the service from our server Chris was awesome! He was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable on the food selection with great recommendations! The free water bottles are a nice touch that is a rare find at restaurants now.

I am amazed at Talkin’ Tacos creativity with there decorations. I ordered the chicken nachos and the service was so fast. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. The nachos were delicious and the salsa will catch your attention leaving a rememberable taste. I recommend Talkin’ Tacos to every local and visitor. It’s definitely a family friendly atmosphere.

Welcomed in by manager, staff were very helpful and attentive. Quickly brought over our speciality drinks, and a couple minutes more and we started getting our appetizers. No alcohol establishment, but next door is a brewery. Highly recommend trying out in person! A repeat customer for sure.

AMAZING FOOD! best tacos in jax and those churros, oh my god. the food is so fresh and good and the portions are fantastic. and the service blows any ive seen out of the water. Victor was phenomenal and absolutely helped us with choices and explanations . the interior is clean and so gorgeous

Omg!!!!! This place blew me away. I’m actually stunned. The Bang Bang Shrimp Taco and the Crispy Stack Wrap w/ Chicken were fantastic!! Far exceeded my expectations. Hot, flavorful, good ingredients, great portion size. Service was great and attentive. Highly recommend, I will definitely be back. Wow!!! P.S. And they are opened until 2am for then late night eats 😉

This place is a VIBE!! I'm horrible with names but our server was cool and informative. Perfect for those of you who like to take pics!! Beautiful art and atmosphere. I loved the fact I was able to watch my sports while I ate. It's always time for tacos and sports. Now let's talk about the food.... I ordered the bang bang shrimp taco, queso dip,and shrimp burrito. These people know EXACTLY what they're doing in that kitchen. When I go Mexican I want heavy cilantro, onion,and lime. I was not disappointed!! I'd definitely have to say they have the flavors if you want authentic Mexican but with a twist. New age with older explosive flavors. I'm from out of town, and this place gave me something to write home about. Y'all go see if y'all see what I saw 💯💢🤤🤤🤤🔥🔥🔥😎

We walked in and they were so friendly from the start. We told them we haven’t been here before and they walked us through everything. There’s a tablet to order with pictures of everything which helped so much with picking what I wanted! Once we got the food, they made sure we had everything we needed. Spud specifically made sure of it. The food was amazing also! Overall great spot!

Had an awesome experience at Talkin’ Tacos in Jacksonville! Huge shoutout to the manager, Spud, for providing such great service. He was incredibly courteous, professional, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole atmosphere was welcoming and well-run. Great find for a taco place. My biggest wish was a non corn taco. Pricing is a bit high, and they could use a little less corn in the taco salad. Past this, the flavor was on point, taco shells (salad bowls) were crispy and didn't get soggy. Menu ordering at the kiosk is different, bit pics help in the ordering. I hope they add some items, like chimichanga, (fried option) and flower tortilla tacos.

Hubby and I stopped by for a quick pick me up snack! while out visiting and shopping. The food was nice and the staff was very welcoming. he gave us complimentary water bottles. it was quite one uber customer apparently messed up which he did argue with the sweet staff for prob over 15 minutes tho lol

The decorations and atmosphere are nice. It’s nice that they’re open till 2 AM for those that need food at that hour. Came in on a Tuesday. They had pretty good taco specials for Tuesday afternoon. They did mess up our order and then took exceedingly long to correct it ,that’s why it’s getting a four otherwise it would’ve been a five.

I’m glad people love the taco spot, but everything was just average to me and it didn’t help that the AC wasn’t working properly when it was 90+ degrees outside. Ordering was a breeze using the kiosk and the atmosphere was really fun, lively and spacious too. My burrito definitely had fresh ingredients, but the burrito was smaller than I thought it would be considering the price. The chips were just OK in my opinion. Since there are so many Mexican spots in Jax, I am glad I tried this place out, but don’t need to rush back.

The food here was good and the inside was very cute. I think the prices are a little high for what it is, but a decent option if you're looking for tacos or your typical mexican food

I couldn't even eat it and threw the whole thing away. Also ordered the street corn and only had a few bites of that too, it was so disappointing, bland, and very dry. I don't understand all of the good reviews here. I ate in once months ago and was very underwhelmed. This was my second try and the food was truly disgusting to the point of being inedible. Save yourself and go to any of the tons of other actually good Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurants we have in the area!
