Excellent cuisine with a menu that makes everything look tempting. Generous portions. We tried baby squid with asparagus and egg with a touch of truffle (just enough not to overpower the other flavors), spectacular tuna lasagna, breaded hake tacos (delicious!), and sea bass (tasty, but perhaps the least remarkable). If you go to Jaén, this is, in my opinion, the best option.

Excellent restaurant! I went for lunch and ordered the Iberian pork shoulder. DELICIOUS, one of the best dishes I've had in Jaén. The staff was very friendly, especially Laura. I would definitely go back.

Superb lunch here , grabbing the last available high table we were not disappointed Friendly and efficient service Wide variety of meat and fish dishes , the flamenquín was nicely prepared, the broken eggs so tasty and the gyozas were exceptionally well flavoured.

The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere wonderful. Regarding the food, we wanted to try several things and followed the waiter's recommendations to sample as much as possible without being too much, so we could share. We loved everything we ordered, although I'd like to give a special mention to the anchovies and, of course, the rice, which was spectacular. The quality-price ratio is excellent, the service from the waiters is fantastic, and the dining room is elegant with the tables well-spaced to create a pleasant ambiance. We'd also like to highlight the tasting of two olive oils from the province of Jaén with bread at the beginning! We will definitely be back!

Todo un clásico en la cocina de Jaén. Buenas tapas y mejor servicio. Los berberechos eran grandes y frescos. Las alcachofas con un sabor muy bueno. Champiñón relleno, gran tamaño y la verdad que un plato diferente. Cocina que innova cuidando siempre las materias primas y con un precio adecuado. Salón grande dentro pero con una terraza que permitirá disfrutar de buena comida al aire libre.

Siempre ha sido mi restaurante favorito de Jaén; llevo 15 años visitando y no decepciona; aunque ya se ha jubilado el señor que mejor atendía allí, tampoco me quejo de los que están, todos son muy profesionales. Algo que sí me gustaría agregar es que las guarniciones están cada vez más pobres o escasas; lo he notado yo y luego el mismo comentario lo he oído de otros amigos que visitaron el día domingo 15 que fueron un grupo a celebrar un cumpleaños. Bueno eso es una crítica constructiva sin quitarle mérito a la calidad. Gracias

I had a couple of hours to kill and so glad I stumbled across this place. I had beers and very good tapas sat near the bar. The food being served in the restaurant looked delicious. Very good service and vibrant atmosphere.

Nos hemos pensado bastante si hacer esta review porque la comida fue impresionante, y el sitio es muy acogedor. Desgraciadamente, la experiencia se vio en parte mermada por la atención que recibimos. Mi pareja y yo estuvimos el fin de semana pasado. Tuvimos que atrasar la reserva porque íbamos tarde. Fueron muy amables con el cambio, asi como también nos recibieron estupendamente al llegar. A partir de ahí, ya sentados, la chica que nos atendió no dijo ni buenas noches, más bien un brusco "que quieren". Parecía tener a su cargo a otra camarera a la que le hablaba también brusco durante toda la noche, lo cual nos sorprendió bastante. Los platos que pedimos estaban buenísimos. Pero al llegar los huevos rotos, esta persona se ofreció a mezclarnos, a lo cual aceptamos, y salto la salsa por la aires la salsa, manchandome la camisa. Soltó inmediatamente los cubiertos con un seco "he calculado mal", y se fue a otra cosa, desentendiéndose completamente. Los segundos estuvieron también increíbles. Al llegar los postres, nos lo cantó rapidamente, y cuando mi pareja le pidió por favor repetirlos ya fue más rápido aun y con total desgana sin siquiera decir el nombre entero del postre. Hay que insistir en que la comida estaba espectacular, postres incluidos. Nos apena que yendo a un restaurante donde pongan tantísimo cariño en la comida la experiencia se haya visto significativamente mermada por la atención de una persona en concreto. La camisa pues ya veremos si sale la mancha.

Buen ambiente, pero la comida muy regular. Dos platos han estado bien, y dos mal. La propuesta de los huevos rotos no se entiende ni recuerda huevos rotos. También nos han servido un entrecot con la carne muy regulera.

Disappointing as restaurant nothing like the website pictures. Food was average and for inland Spain rather expensive. No doubt great place for tapas and a local meeting place.
