Good price and great food

This place is very convenient. They have bowls with fried or white rice, topped with either steamed vegetables (Teriyaki Bowl) or avocado, cream cheese, and crab salad (Yakimeshi Bowl). Both come with a protein like ribs, shrimp, or chicken. I tried the ribs and shrimp bowls, and both were quite good. There's another one, Yakiwings, with chicken wings. That one is delicious; the wings are super sweet. My favorite as of today. The one I didn't like as much was the Chicken Thai Bowl. It comes with a peanut sauce that I found too thick and strong. I combined it with all the rice; maybe add it little by little depending on your taste. The chicken they serve was overcooked for my taste, very dry. I don't know if this is an isolated case or if this is just the dish. The Ninja Ball, a breaded rice ball filled with cubes of cream cheese, shrimp, crab, avocado, and cucumber, is also very good, with a spicy chipotle sauce. It's not very filling, though, so I recommend ordering it separately as a side. I haven't tried the sushi yet, but I plan to go on Tuesday because the rolls are 3 for $100 pesos :D

The prices are a bit high for the size of the dishes (at Villa del Mar they serve a good steak with a salad for almost the same price). The taste is average. The amount of protein they add to the dishes is very different from what's advertised. Today's beef dish tasted like chewing gum, the ribs only had 3 1/2 ribs, and the chicken was "too sweet." Too much rice and not enough protein... I'll be back until I forget this bad experience...

Frozen vegetables with bad chicken and soggy rice, I used to buy it but I won't be back.

I don't know if they changed cooks or what happened, it was totally disgusting. I bought a chicken tai bowl and the breading was so burnt that even the so-called "chicken" was dried out because it was so burnt that everything was ready for the trash.
