We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Santiago’s Bodega in Key West. The tapas were amazing — every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and perfect for sharing. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into every plate. Our server, Mickey, made the evening even better with great service and a friendly, attentive attitude that made us feel welcome from start to finish. If you’re visiting Key West and enjoy great food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, I would strongly recommend making a stop here. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Phenomenal hidden gem! The flavors of the dishes ordered are incredible… tried 4 tapas 2 cold and 2 hot. The yellow fin tune ceviche was out of this world!!! 2nd the burrata w/tomato was absolutely Devine can’t say enough about the explosion of flavors… we enjoyed all four but these two shined. Lastly we had the Roman meatballs w/angel hair pasta and the grilled shrimp & chorizo. Ricardo was so enjoyable the service was top notch - we would definitely love to return!

The best meal we had on our trip! Such a fun place to go to try a lot of different things and everything was so good. The staff was also so kind and tried to help us get an earlier table when we asked. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time to get the time you want! And get the bread pudding!!

The food and sangria were amazing. The ambiance was nice and place would definitely make for a great date night! I’d highly recommend the patatas bravas, Greek salad, lemon chicken, stuffed dates, and bread pudding. The walk to get here from Duvall street was a bit dark and desolate at night so be aware of that.

We have been going to KW for years and just discovered a new fav! Didn’t know we needed reservations but got a spot at the bar. Shared the beef carpaccio, best ever, and lamb chops, delicious! Came back another day, outside, for the sangria’s, best ever, chicken skewers and pear avocado salad, and those dates! So good I forgot pics of the others. Miles was great! Definitely on the list to go again!

We had a reservation but was able to get in early during Happy hour. The Tapas were over the top delicious. Excellent service. A wonderful slow, smooth graze through tappas heaven. The brussel sprouts were the best! Would definitely recommend for a great eating experience.

Visited this place for two reasons: the reviews online and tapas ( I love tapas). Oh boy I was not disappointed. Food was exceptional. The mixture and balance of ingredients were perfect. Wife and I returned the next day to try more food. If you are in Key West, make your reservation and visit this place. I also want to say that the service was 10/10! Very cordial and friendly, the best I had in Key West! I can’t wait to visit this place again!

Great food, our first experience with tapas. Boy we were in for a treat ! The short ribs were melting in the mouth. One of the best dining experience we had in Key West.

Santiagos is a tapas style dining venue. They only have beer, wine and sangria but I must say the sangria was delicious. They had specials, but in general you order tapas and they come out as they are made. Even though they are tapas, you can very full as its so much food. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was exactly that of a bodega. We tasted so many wondeful tapas, my favorite being the saganaki, it was a houlami cheese in a brandy sauce and fired tableside, amazing! And for dessert we had the croissant bread pudding, omg yum!!If I had more time we would def come back.

It was so nice to try something different. We ordered a few tapas for a late lunch. The beef cappuccio was highly recommended in my research & it was the highlight!

Nothing but great things to say. Food and atmosphere are always amazing. The dishes were superb, did not disappoint - shrimp bisque, prosciutto-wrapped dates, saganaki flaming cheese, tenderloin with blue cheese butter and carpaccio - all were fabulous! The only negative was we were seated under a very cold AC unit and asked to be moved to another table. They accommodated but when they did, we got a server that was just ok when the original one was great.

Cool Spanish tapas experience in Key West, far away from the tourist crowd on Whitehead. Service was friendly, fast and informative. Large selection of wines, beer, and homemade sangria. Really loved the carpacio and trio hummus dishes. Dessert crepes topped it off.

Opening google maps, I found Santiago’s Bodega. After locking my bike, I entered the restaurant to indulge in Spanish food. I had the ceviche with the local beer named Crazy Lady. The following day, I returned and sat at the bar to meet an acquaintance. We had a variety of tapas and the local beer named Crazy Lady. The art and wood furniture is inviting, masculine and graceful. Vhuntermassage LLC

Brilliant place to eat tapas. Portions were big for tapas and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't remember the name of our server, I wanna say Matt? (Sorry if I got that wrong) but he was an absolute gentleman and talked us through the various options and made our experience all the more better. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be coming back when I'm back in Key West next year.

Really nice place with a decent selection of tapasand an excellent wine list. All the dishes we tried were very well prepared - the tuna ceviche was exceptional. The bar area can get a little loud, so opt for the dining room or outside seating if you're looking for a quieter experience.

Fantastic little restaurant. Placed in a little less desirable of an area with limited parking nearby at least at the time of my visit, the restaurant is on the smaller side so this doesn’t seem to be an issue. Arrived around 4:30 to a nearly empty restaurant. Sat quickly, provided menu, list of specials and given recommendations based on preferences. Incredibly attentive service, food came out very quickly. I can’t remember the fancy name but the special of chicken potstickers was very good. Sweet but not overly so Sparkling Sangria was a nice addition the Short ribs were the most flavorful and exciting dish I had, I would absolutely recommend this dish. The shrimp and chorizo was alright, it was not bad by any means but the dish felt flat with not a lot of excitement, if you’re looking for something that feels very light this might be a good choice. Lastly the bread pudding croissant and ice cream was great, croissant was nice and hot with the contrasting ice cream melting with a bite of each. Tapas style restaurants are not known for large portion sizes or value for portions so I wouldn’t expect to be stuffing yourself off of them. If you want to try a few variations of different dishes with small to moderate size portions (traditional tapas style, recommend 2-3 dishes at a minimum, dishes range from ~$10-20 a dish)I would definitely make this a stop on your journey

Hands down one of the best spots in Key West! Every dish was full of flavor and so delicious. The customer service was just as impressive, super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I loved the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food. Both the white and red sangria were amazing! 10/10 recommend and can’t wait to come back.

ame during happy hour and sat at one of the outside tables. Ordered a draft Stella Artois along with the happy hour specials: the beef taco and the chicken dumplings.

We ate outside just for little food and sangria. Great service and good food. We had interaction with rooster and it was wonderful.

We had an amazing experience at Santiago's Bodega They serve wonderful vegetarian and vegan food, and the service was exceptional. Our server, Irina, was absolutely amazing — so knowledgeable and friendly. We asked for fully vegan options, and she made sure the kitchen prepared something special just for us. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We truly appreciated the care and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great vegan and vegetarian tapas and outstanding service!

My sister and I came here for a Christmas meal on a surprise trip to Key West for our dad. Ricardo was the most amazing server. We had an unbelievable time. It’s always been my favorite restaurant in KW and this time was no different. Beef carpaccio, shrimp bisque, meatballs, and half off wine and apps for happy hour! Do not miss this place.

We had a great time here chat gpt recommended that we go here and we weren’t disappointed. Our server recommended 2-3 dishes per person. We ordered 10 things for 4 people and it was perfect. Le loved the pear salad, stuffed dates, croquettes, short ribs and the flaming cheese!! I didn’t get photos of everything because we ate it too fast! They have wine beer and sangria no liquor. Medium fancy environment, where you feel well taken care of but not too fancy for someone who still wants a chill evening.

Santiago's Bodega was a fantastic restaurant to chill when you need a break from the persistent hustle and bustle of Key West. It’s elegant and classy and the food was superb! The ambiance is romantic and the wine/sangria flavors were delightful. It’s also located in a quiet area that perfectly matches the vibe inside the establishment. Our waitress, Nikole JJ, was lovely and very friendly, not only walking us through the menu and the special, but also providing us her favorites, which was superb helpful! I highly recommend this establishment if you want a nice and beautiful escape from the wilder flavors of Key West. You won’t regret it (though be advised, it will be smart to reserve to dine).

Loved this place! Our server Samantha, made it the best. Food was outstanding. Try the sparkling sangria and prosciutto wrapped dates w/feta. Potstickers, cevichi, and tuna were great. Tapas and a lively atmosphere. Don't miss the bread pudding.

Everything is delicious. Beef Carpaccio, tenderloin with blue cheese butter YUMMY, sangria, puff pastry with mushrooms, 🍄‍🟫 pear and avacado salad. French onion soup & my fav She crab soup ! We really wanted to try the bread pudding but too full. The Tapas are generous portions. Our waitress Alison was amazing ! Loved this little Bodega ! After 2 restaurant fails we finally found I hidden gem in the Keys 😛

A local spot worth the visit. It’s such a great place for small plates and great crafted drinks. The menu is easy and enough options for everyone. Perfect tapas happy hour spot for high end feeling vibes.

Amazing place to try different things. We had the bread service, fresh ceviche, French onion soup, croquettes, quesadillas & short ribs (not pictured). Our favorites were fresh ceviche, French onion soup, and short ribs.

Great great great place. A little off the beaten path, but that makes it all the better. Get ready for all the share plates you and your friends can handle with the best Sangria on the island. Excellent staff, great attention to details here.

This place is a GEM. Not far from the bustle of Duval Street, but it might as well be 100 miles away. It’s so quiet, and the service and food show care and attention to detail. We tried multiple salads, hot and cold tapas, and dessert, and every single item was top notch. Maya was our server and an absolute delight. You want to visit this place!

What a great experience. Ricardo took care of this party of 8 as we indulged. We had Red and white sangria, Yellowfin Tuna ceviche, Shrimp bisque, Batatas brava, Brussels sprouts, Shrimp and chorizo, tenderloin with polenta, Lamb chops, Flourless chocolate cake, Bread pudding, Crepes filled with Hazelnut cream and some lattes. For many of us it was the first time. We were extremely satisfied. Ricardo and the team didn’t skip a beat. We will definitely be back!

It was INCREDIBLE… everything tastes like a DREAM! For sure it was the best restaurant in the Key West! And one of the best restaurants in the whole USA. Great service, food… is impossible to even write about it - it was that PERFECT! Thank You so much, I am thankful that I was able to eat in Your restaurant. Just…..MAGIC!

Wow! What a delightful place for a refreshing, delicious meal! This was a recommendation from a friend who has visited Key West many times as the ONE place you couldn't miss when there. The service was excellent, tapas were unique and delicious, the sangria was so refreshing, and the atmosphere was second to none! Do NOT miss out on dining here when in Key West!

Everything was super delicious, and our hostess was very attentive. We went at 11 am on a weekday, and it wasn't very busy. The ambiance was pleasant and relaxing, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely meal. The menu had a great variety of options, and every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was prompt, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this place to our friends."

Love everything about this place! Food best on the island. Shrimp soup was absolute perfection and will be dreaming of that once we leave. Puff pastry, short ribs, etc all delicious. Our server (Allison) was one of the loveliest people I’ve met. We are from the NYC area and this tops some of the best tapas spots there.

S

One of the better meals we’ve had in Key West. Started with the spicy shrimp bisque with the bread service. Bisque was flavorful with just enough spice and the bread was perfect to dip in the soup. Roman meatballs, croquettas and beef tenderloin were all excellent. Finished off the meal with one of the best croissant bread puddings I’ve had in a long time. There wasn’t any food left on any of the plates. Our server was fantastic and recommended the beef carpaccio next time we come back. I try to eat at new places every time I’m in key west but I would bend the rules and make a trip back to Santiago’s.

Great food and a wonderful dining experience. Our server, Ivan, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He recommended several tapas as well as a wine that we really enjoyed. We especially liked the vegetarian mushroom tapas, the meatballs, and the smoked salmon tapas. The dessert selection is also very good, with plenty of tempting options to choose from. Overall, excellent food, attentive service, and a very enjoyable evening.

Great find on the way back from Zachary Taylor Park. We stopped on our long walk back and it was delicious! Enjoyed several small shared tapas type dishes including a hummus, date, and chicken skewer dishes. Excellent.

This food was excellent especially for the prices! The dates, bread pudding, braised short ribs were our favorites. Service is great and the lighting inside is dim and sets a mood! Heads up parking is very limited!!!

Great little tapas place. Tried both the white and red sangria, prefer the red. The goat cheese wrapped in bacon totally amazing. Tried the meatballs which were pretty hefty and good. The short ribs were very tasty and tender. This is my second time here, I was not disappointed and plan to return for a third visit.

Santiago’s Bodega is a charming tapas-style restaurant. My personal favorite was the halloumi cheese — perfectly done! Overall, the food was tasty, though not every dish impressed equally. Still, a cozy spot worth visiting for a pleasant dining experience.

L
Lewis Lefteroff

Food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. All were solid, none were amazing - solid 4 stars. Better than many other options in the area. Chicken skewers were delicious. Short rib was very tasty but also more bones than meat. Brussels sprouts were decent. Patatas bravas were very flavorful. Tenderloin was under-cooked. We ordered it medium and it came out rare (cold and red in the middle, definitely rare).

We tend to try places that show up on a lot of lists. This is one of those places. The staff are all friendly and the service was amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The location couldn't be better. All makings for a great experience. The food, however, was hit and miss. Most was just ok, with very mild flavors and not much wow factor. Salsas were a bit too sweet. Mango was under ripe. Salt felt lacking. There were some standout dishes - the green beans were seasoned well and had a nice snap. The trio of hummus was delicious and the bread was thin, crispy and seasoned with herbs. A perfect combination. The short ribs were spectacular. Brussel sprouts were crispy, tender morsels of delight. Some that fell flat were the patatas bravas lacked flavor, the ceviche was watered down and lacked seasoning (the fish was great quality), and the meatballs were tight and dry. The dates and the burrata were standard. The brandy halloumi dish was flashy (pun intended) and held its own. Flavors were there, but the sauce was a bit sweet. The quesadilla had some great elements, but also fell a little flat in flavor. I will say that this is an experience I am happy to have had, although this is a one-and-done kind of place for me.

J
Julia Vasylchuk

The food looks better than it actually tastes. The portions are small, and the menu is a bit specific — I’m sure it won’t appeal to everyone. The atmosphere is pleasant, but overall my impression of the food was average.

T
Thomas Shively

The food was good. We ordered 4 tapes, they were very small for tapas, but good. Ordered chicken pot stickers, salmon rice cakes, shishito peppers, and ahi tuna off the happy hour menu.

What I liked: Ambiance, historical feel, Sangria What I disliked: 1) I got the French Onion soup. The soup itself was decent, not amazing. The problem was the cheese. I don’t know what they’re using, but it’s not Gruyère. Whatever it was (low quality Swiss maybe, or provolone?) it sat on top of the soup like a deflated inner tube. And it was about that chewy. I don’t know if this was just a miss that night, or if the chef or staff hasn’t bothered to try it in a long while, but it was weak. 2) My wife got the Yellowfin tuna ceviche. It was not flavorful and not really juicy, partially because the mango was not ripe, it had the consistency of a very unripe pear. She also suspected the tuna may have been previously frozen. Lastly, it didn’t come with anything crunchy. That’s basic. We asked for that and were offered a crostini, which was flat out bad, and charged an extra $3 for. 3) The bar service. It took a while just to get some water, which is not a problem, but if you’re going to be sitting there waiting a while, then the bartender or bar back (they were around) or anybody should just acknowledge your presence and say they’ll be with you in a bit. That didn’t happen at all, and it was kind of awkward. Another couple was seated next to us shortly after, and I could tell they experienced the same thing and they were a bit put off, and when they asked a question about the menu the bar lady was like “it’s up there on the board” (which was reflective and hard to read) - you could tell she could feel their impatience and got reactive. Ego plus lack of situational awareness is a bad combo for the service industry. People, I hate Karens, I’m not one, I didn’t even ask to see the manager, but hopefully he/she reads this.
