This place been around for 20 years since I was in high school. It was a great place to eat after a day of skiing. The tacos had a Mexican ceivche flavor, the cod was hot and fries were crunchy. I loved their fireplace, I could sit there forever. After the meal, we walked out to the beach which was relaxing. The sun and water and full belly made me feel relaxed
We visit Jason’s every year and are never disappointed. Food, drinks, staff are all amazing! Not to mention the lake view. See you again next year!
I came here to treat myself to a birthday dinner, I got a 10 oz new York strip with a Jack Daniels au jus, with mashed potatoes, and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. It was one of the best meals I've had in years . Also it's 2026 and the meal only cost $33 The steak was cooked perfectly Medium rare like I had asked for. It was so juicy I couldn't stop making weird noises . I'm sure the table next to me thinks I'm crazy . I've also had lots of different renditions of chicken tortilla soup and this was the best one I've ever had and I consider myself a soup connoisseur. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in my 37 years of existence. Also my food came out so fast like unreal.
The ingredients were exceptional and fresh. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger. The mushrooms tasted marinatedin a flavorful alcohol. The meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. The battered fries were some of the best french fries I've ever had. It's rare that I get food better than my own cooking. I'm so grateful I treated myself to Jason's. I enjoyed the wood paneling and many windows. There is a nice fireplace that looks comfy to sit around with friends and drinks. The happy hour drinks look tasty and creative with a leaning towards drinks that warm you in the winter.
Loved the grilled portobello burger so much! It was the perfect meal to satisfy all my cravings, and I liked that it had some unique toppings like goat cheese. The restaurant is also very beautiful inside, like a log cabin. Great place, highly recommend!
Tasty New England clam chowder and salmon sandwich after a few hours of ebiking. The outdoor deck sits a couple hundred feet from the waterfront, but the views are still very beautiful. Mountain Mojitos were very refreshing and light. Wife’s burger was also quite good. Not real clear on where to park, but we found a side street with a free public lot and enjoyed the short walk.
5 stars is generous, but I want them to stay open for when I go back. Had the new York steak and my wife had the herb salmon. Both were good sized portions and were cooked correctly. Were either a life changing meal... No. But for the location and price (both meals were just under $30 each at the time of this review) it was a very enjoyable meal. Would definitely recommend ! Oh, the calamari was just mid. The batter was almost like fish stick batter. Not bad, edible, but something I probably wouldn't order again.
I had the Ahi salad and it was amazing. The mango aling with the spice was the perfect blend of flavor. Unfortunately, the nachos were not the best...they seemed too dry for me. I would have much rather had nacho cheese sauce instead of the melted cheddar because once they cool down, you get a solid block of chips/cheese. Service was great and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Great spot right off of Kings Beach. Food was good, nice portions, and a value compared to some other places we have eaten around the lake. Good service and a great atmosphere on the outside patio. We had a salad, seared tuna salads, Rueben’s, Irish Potatoes, and wings. Everything hit.
We stopped at Jason’s Beachside Grille after what I’d call a polar plunge in Lake Tahoe, and it was the perfect choice! The French onion soup and clam chowder totally hit the spot and warmed us right up. The indoor atmosphere was cozy and inviting, but there’s also a great outdoor patio with views of the lake if you’re up for it. Friendly service, delicious food, and the perfect spot to relax post-adventure. Definitely recommend!
Stopped by Jason’s Beachside Grille and was really impressed! The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing with a beautiful view. Special thanks to Jhoni for his friendly and professional service — he really made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to. Highly recommended!
The food was good. Decent quality. The nachos hit the spot. My spinach strawberry salad was yummy but a bit too much dressing. Chicken tenders and fries were good. The prices are very fair. Happy hour is every day from 4-6pm which is awesome! Would come again!
Happened to come across this cozy little restaurant whilst driving around Lake Tahoe, located at Kings Beach. I went with the herb-baked salmon and the wife went with the shrimp and scallop penne—neither dish blew me away, but both delivered where it counts: they were fresh, well-portioned, and filling. The salmon played it safe, a dependable bite with no surprises. The pasta followed suit—comforting, easygoing, and generous with the seafood. Nothing wild, just a solid meal in a cozy lakeside setting. Sometimes that’s all you need.
My food was good. Chicken tender was not the best, but just good. Service was good. The busser not quite slam it on the table, but it was not hard, but maybe he was going onto another shift, so I didn't care. I just wanted to point out that out. The atmosphere was quiet, I could hear my party perfect 👌
We were starving, and didn’t expect to find anything great as early as it was in the afternoon. We stopped into Jason’s Beachside Grill. I ordered two baby-back rib appetizers, and the prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes. My wife had the fish tacos. The ribs were really good, but a little dry. I loved them anyway. My prime rib was PERFECT!! SO much flavor in every bite. The mashed potatoes were what one would expect from a higher-end restaurant. Let me tell you, though, those green beans were AMAZING! I hate fish, so I didn’t try my wife’s tacos. She was well-impressed with them. I did try the salsa served on her tacos, though, and that was TERRIFIC! The place itself looks really cool!! Great rustic ambiance! I felt very relaxed. Service? Meh. Average, but prompt and polite enough. The food came out lightning fast! Oh! And the beer was great. If we ever make it back to Incline Village, we will be back.
Two of us went here for dinner recently and we had a nice experience. The friendly guy who served us was very polite, kind and respectful. The ambience was very nice and cozy. The food we tried was tasty and good value for money. We wished the Mac & cheese had a cheese crusty top, as you would get in lots of restaurants. Other than that, the food was tasty 👍 If you are in Tahoe Vista and looking for a dinner out, I would highly recommend Jason's 🙏
Overall it wasn’t bad, the seafood fettuccine was very good and priced pretty well for the dish. However the baby back ribs are not worth it all they are super skinny with barely any meat on them. The salmon was also not too bad pretty tasty. The fries were really tasty and my friends enjoyed the meal but probably wouldn’t return. There is a nice beach nearby so you can kind of see the sunset depending on your seating.
