I had a great experience at Dane’s Crawfish Shack! The server was prompt, friendly, and made the meal enjoyable. The food was delicious, though a bit salty. My only gripe is the lack of guest WiFi, especially since cell service inside the building is spotty. Overall, a solid spot for Cajun Food!

My daughter and i live in Mid County and were traveling to Sam Rayburn. We decided to stop and try the crawfish. It was our first time there. The crawfish were great and cooked very well! We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer and they were the BEST fried pickles we have ever eaten. Excellent food and wait staff were very friendly and helped us often. Perfect place to stop if you are towing a boat too. There a huge parking area in the back where I parked my truck and boat. Will definately be back..

Went met some family half way for dinner and decided on this place, and it’s a hidden gem! We ordered fried pickles, hamburgers and crawfish. The crawfish were seasoned well, hamburgers were juicy, and the best part was the little ice cream cups for dessert. Our waitress was so sweet, and patient with my grandmother, niece, and nephew. We most certainly will be back to meet up with family again and have a nice dinner.

Went and got crawfish on a Saturday night. Let me just say they were some the best crawfish I've had in a long time. Top 3. They peel so awesome. Not a dead one in all 15 lbs. The spice is absolutely perfect too. We also got 3 lbs of boiled shrimp which were also really good and just popped out the shell. And I don't know what they do to the fried pickles but I like it Picasso 😙👌 This dinner was definitely worth the money! Plus the deck was so nice to sit out on, on a nice spring night. Service was also really great. Kept our drinks full.

Sometimes you make a random decision that turns out to life-altering. Me whipping the truck in the turn lane to grab some food at Dane’s while passing through Kirbyville was one of those times. I have never eaten there before. I ordered up the food and went thru it like my Hemi thru a tank of gas. Coleslaw, fried catfish, fried shrimp, French fries and hush puppies. (Clearly not the food on the cardiologist list of demands). Everything…even the tartar sauce was exactly what it was supposed to taste like. Soooo good! I could have ate a hush puppy the size of a cantaloupe if it tasted like those that came with my food. The staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu items. Absolutely amazing stuff. I will most certainly find myself haphazardly “passing through” Kirbyville to come here again! Thanks, Dane’s!

Very clean, quick service, the food is very good and seasoned. I love the onion rings!! The hamburgers are really good. Nothing I've tried there has been bad. When you are in Kirbyville, definitely give them a try!

Food was good. We had ordered a dozen oysters and some shrimp PO’boys. Food came out good and on time. Could go for more shrimp in the PO’boys

Well, there went $54 to the dogs. The food was not good at all. Seafood was too salty. Fish was fatty. Oysters had no taste. Fried green beans were just about burnt. The croutons in the salad were stale. I mean, come on now. And then they want to charge you for some ranch dressing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. All I can say is that the restaurant was clean and the service was so-so.

You have to still pay for the stuff you don't like, the crawfish (or my bach) was over cooked, mushy and not cleaned right. I ate one to two and told them I didn't like it and they still made me pay. Worst experience I will NOT be returning.

Our family seated ourselves, received no menus, no silverware, were rarely checked on by waitstaff, waitstaff didn’t have answers for any of our questions. We were charged for every sauce that was supposed to be “included” in our meal price. My fish and shrimp arrived at the table cold and soggy. Manager did nothing to address our concerns with our poor experience. The waitress cussed at my mother-in-law and was rude when we were voicing our concern to the manager (who did not address that behavior either). We absolutely will not be returning and definitely do not recommend this restaurant if you’re trying to have an enjoyable dinner out with your family and friends.

Passing through town and chose to go eat here. The lighting outside is awful you can’t see anything posted on door, the food was terrible, we had to seat ourselves and get our own menu the waitress had to keep going to ask kitchen staff questions because she didn’t know. They tried charging for every condiment that should’ve been on the table without tell us there would be a charge. The manager was an absolute embarrassment when we addressed our concerns for being over charged and that the food was not edible, he stated there was nothing he could do! We will not ever go back there.. ask questions they won’t know or be honest about but ask anyway if you decide to eat there.
