I did enjoy their chicken soup. The combination of food B fits our taste. The large combo is good enough for five people.
Very attentive and accommodating. Very good side dishes (banchan), and good service. Delicious combo meat, with steamed scrambled eggs and bean paste soup (den-jang-cchi-gae). Will be coming back.
Really positive. A little pricey when compared to other K BBQ. A nice touch is that your service person kept an eye on your grille and cooked for you.
Well what do you know, a fantastic Korean bbq so close to home. I'm struggling to not go into a food coma out in public but if I was going to do it it would be here because this meat is delicious. Oh my God outstanding
This is place is amazing! High quality food and staff is outstanding! Saves me a trip to ktown and their food quality is way better than most places.
They have un dae goo. Great Korean bbq. Two tables outside. Love eating here. Really great fried mackerel.
Very quick service, no waiting at all. Compare to Glendale locations. This one is only 10 min away from Glendale. Love. It.
Great korean bbq restaurant. They use actual wood charcoal in the range. It has nice wood smell to the meat.
i have never dined in and can not comment about the location or service inside. I can tell you that the food is made very well and it is always fresh.
Very good food, it is self BBQ at the table with all the extras. Excellent flavor!
Delicious,high quality. Would recommend
Excellent restaurant I have ever been. Good service and best BBQ. Very good taste yom Yom.
Cozy family-run Korean BBQ in La Cañada, with a lively atmosphere and delicious offerings of bulgogi, galbi, and samgyeopsal. Excellent banchan side dishes as well. Had heard there was a Korean community up in the foothills, first time visiting with some family friends. A great alternative to the crowded restaurants of Koreatown, super authentic and just a short drive from the center of Los Angeles!
Our family absolutely loves coming to Seoul Barbecue in La Cañada. My kids get excited every time we come here—they truly enjoy every single item on the menu. The food is consistently amazing, high-quality, and full of flavor, and the barbecue experience never disappoints. The service is just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes dining here even more enjoyable as a family. If you’re looking for outstanding Korean BBQ, this is the place. You don’t need to go all the way to Koreatown to enjoy incredible Korean barbecue—Seoul Barbecue delivers it right here in La Cañada.
If you love Korean food this is the place, the buss-boy was so nice explaining and helping us, we got our order fast we didn't wait too long, wow this extraordinary aroma, fantastic flavor, and service, the waitress (I think was the owner) she cooks the meat wow love it, are drink was good, the bathroom was cleaned, good price, We got Korean barbecue, shrimp 🦐 and chicken, I got spice tofu oh Mother Earth what a flavor, delicious and great time
Great service but a bit pricier than if you were to go to Ktown. You’re paying for convenience over quality. The combos are the way to go but you don’t get the usual additional sides that you get when ordering combos in Ktown. No soul, no egg etc. We mainly come here when people are in town. It’s just so much easier than driving 30-40 minutes through traffic.
LA county Food Establishment Health Code is A. No reservation was needed to dine here; parking which is shared with other businesses is ample and free. Front desk customer service is not 5 star but you don't expect it in a small kitchen like this where all staff are busy; we came here for dinner and we were seated immediately; side sauces are clean and filled up; the ambience is fair, spacing is a bit condensed; cutlery, table and floor are clean; decor and styling is fair; noise level average is 71 decibels; close to other Korean businesses and Ross. 2 to 3 pages of menu items with separate listing for lunch. Wait time to be served is a blistering 2 minutes and 30 seconds. We ordered a beef meat combo that is good for 4 person. Presentation is fair to good with good portion sizes; the aroma is the best, your food is being grilled in front of you so this takes the trophy. The hotness and doneness will be decided by you so don't blame anyone for this. They have a lot of side dishes with different levels of saltiness, sweetness, umami, spiciness, texture and balance. Overall, the food is excellent with good price-to-value ratio; I highly recommend the food and this restaurant. On a side note, if they see you struggle with grilling (or you don't look Korean enough 😄) they would stop by every 2 -3 minutes to grill the meat for you; this alone is a 5-star service in my book.
Ive been a customer here for over a decade, the food is always great! I moved away for a couple years and now im back and this is the first place I visited :)
At this point, Seoul BBQ has become a given for us. We’ve been here multiple times, and it’s easily one of our favorite local KBBQ spots. The menu is a bit different from the typical options and the prices are slightly higher, but the quality and service make it worth it every time. Everything we’ve ordered has been consistently good. I still wish they offered a few more appetizers, but honestly, that hasn’t stopped us — our kids love coming here, and it’s become a reliable, go-to family spot in Glendale.
Prompt service, good portion size, side dishes, fresh, and filling!

A group of friends and I visited right when the restaurant opened in the morning and it was a pleasant experience. The place is clean, the staff is attentive as well as polite, and the food is delicious. They have many side dishes as well. Our server even assisted us with the meat preparation even though we did not ask and we thought that this was a kind gesture. The prices are medium-high and you may first question whether the food will be enough to fill you or whether it is worth the price and it totally is. Great spot!
By far the best Korean BBQ. Very fresh, tasty. Best service ! Always very attentive, and so nice. Just the way the lady ( i think she is the owner) goes out of her way to make us dishes that are not on the menu is beyond amazing! We come here with my family , and we love it! Brought a few friends here, and they feel the same way!
Food is good and staff are very friendly. I generally do take out many times, and they are always kind and not hurried over the phone. I know that they are short staffed as I walk in and see everyone busy serving and taking care of customers, but I wouldn't know that every time I speak to them over phone to order. Definitely a great spot for Korean food in La Crescenta/La Canada area.
Amazing quality of food, and service. The price is more than worth it.
Quality food and friendly service. Seoul BBQ is our new favorite Korean BBQ place with an authentic taste of charcoal grilling.
Great food, very attentive staff with great service, overall highly recommend!

Very good food. A bit pricier than I'm used to
As of late 2018, this place is completely remodeled and now offers the option to cook your own Korean BBQ. The prices have increased significantly but more to the levels of most higher end Korean spots. What I said about flavors before still is relevant, authentic and yummy!.
i was pleasantly surprised on my first visit. their kimchi tofu soup is to die for. plus, their way too generous with their banchang🤩. lovessss it!
Recently remodeled their interior. A pretty good Korean food if you want to stay in the area... instead of driving all the way to Ktown.
Fairly cheap for all you can eat korean bbq. It was really busy that night. Good to have reservation if in large parties.
Good Korean food in the City of LaCanada. Huge parking lot in front of restaurant. Recommended.
Good banchan, excellent beef ribs. Fast, attentive service. Nice place and easy parking
As a Korean born and raised in Korea, the food is pretty good. However, foods are a bit too sweet overall. Especially dweijibulgogi (port bulgogi) and bibim nangmyeon. Only ate in store once, but had food delivered over 20 times. My all time favorites are dooroochigi and rice cake soup with mandoo.
Very accommodating staff with decent Korean food away from the hustle and bustle of Koreatown. Staff was attentive and friendly and quick to refill banchan and water. Food was decent, the only reason I knocked off 1 Star was the stew I ordered (cod roe stew) was under seasoned and bland. But the barbecue was great!
Easy parking since it’s a shopping complex lot. BONUS: During peak Friday/weekend hours we just come here to avoid the LONG LONG wait at other k-bbq spots such as Gen Korean BBQ House in Glendale (1hr 45min wait). Decent banchan and good meat quality. Wouldn't say it's top choice but does the deed. No issues with customer service as others had mentioned. The Seoul Cham Soot BBQ team promptly changed the grill and brought items we need to re-up on.
Some premium menu items can be expensive but regular meats like bulgogi, pork belly are reasonably priced. If not busy, they will happily grill meats for you. Number of side dishes is okay for a Korean restaurant. Decent Korean BBQ place outside of K-town LA. This is a tiny restaurant so be prepared to wait in line during busy time.
Forgot to take a photo but octopus mixed rice was good as well. I would go more frequent if the price is less expensive. They raised the price again recently.

Quality meat! I love the service too. They come to your table and cook it for you. But it's very expensive

No air conditioning in the heat. Since we were not familiar with that type of restaurant, we were hoping the waitress would help us out. She was unfriendly and very impatient.
Korean style Meat menu is so so But other menu is not satisfying octopus is like a leather
Kbbq is surprisingly expensive like the cheapest meat you can get is probably like $75 for two orders (two orders is the minimum and it's not all you can eat) so instead we decided to have naengmyeon and galbi tang. I have never had such a weirdly sweet naengmyeon before with a strange taste, I almost couldn't eat it unless I drenched it with vinegar and Mustard because it was so sweet. Also the galbitang was very salty and didn't taste like any galbitang I've had before.
This place was confusing, it is not an endless Korean bbq, but just 1 time order, the prices are not very fair comparing it to endless kbbq, so definitely not the best bang for your buck, but the food was alright.
I went here with my boyfriend today and the menu was really confusing. I thought that it was a Korean BBQ where you can eat unlimited meat . But the waitress said they weren't KOREAN BBQ . So there menu was just literally a order of plate food that was already cooked. 😐😐😐 overall this was a disappointment visit.

Ordered the Bibimbap and the stone plate bibimbap it was bland. We asked for more tea and never came. And there was a draft where we sat. Safe to say we’re not going back. The redeeming factor was the dumplings.
Must be a new owner or new management. Ordered $30 fish soup, hardly seen any fish at all... The waitress heard number of complaints from customers regarding quality of foods, owner doesn't care at all... Most unpleasant, disappointed experience ever being any restaurant in the past. I wouldn't recommend at all for any menu at any cost!!!!!
I went there on 12/5/2020. Not only i waited almost an hour for my food the oder was incorrect. I wanted the Kimchi stew with pork. I received Kimchi stew with tofu. I order the short rib stew for $20 and received only two short ribs in a small container. This place is overpriced and not worth it.
Walked in to go strong odor. I've personally been in more than 5 dozen BBQ places, and i can make an affirmative statement that it's ripped off. I barely really enjoyed the meat since it was very limited and not sure why it was advertised as premium. Anyways, veggies were alright. The fact that food was limited wasn't alright. We've paid for allegedly enough meals to cover 2 - 3 people where, in any other place, i would be welcome to order some more. Folks here want you're Benjamin's and funds for whatever they are feeling right to server. They will also cutter for you and give you some little fire. Wack Ended up spending $200 meal for two for two regular weight adults...

First time at this place. I went there because Cho Dang Tofu & BBQ in Montrose was closed. I was very disappointed with the service. Waitress was rude(HeeWon). I ordered bbq short ribs, they were lukewarm almost cold, I couldn't find any korean BBQ flavor in the meat. It looked like food heated in a microwave. The meat was too soft and flavorless, no bbq flavor at all. I mentioned that to the waitress and she got very defensive, she didn’t apologize she just started yelling at us.
