The food is delicious but when steak medium rare it should be as requested and not medium well. The reason for the four stars. The Children loved the entertainment from our Chef. Will return for Sushi next time Overall service was great 👍
We came for the sushi bar and haven’t tried the Hibachi yet—but it smelled absolutely amazing! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious. Great quality and flavor. We’re definitely coming back for more!
Great place. Fun and perfect! Food is delicious and staff excellent. Our own chef cooking our food juat the way we want it. It doesn't gwt better than this !!!

You loves tepannyaki or hibachi? Enjoy when the cheff cook infront of you? Interacrion with thr cheff? Well this place is one of those and the food so good too. Its called "Sakura" Japanese Steak & Seafood House restaurant. But they only open in the evening means good for dinner time. The food for me so yummy, i choose the New York Steak & Shrimp, with additional fried rice $4 and you can choose for japanese noodle too with additional $5. The food included miso soup, sauted musroom, salad and steam rice for free! The shrimp so fresh and the steak so melt in mouth! And if you visit here on your bday, they will give you free ice cream with candle to be blow. Then some of their person vome gathering and sing for you with gong!
Everything was amazing. Some got sushi while most of us got hibachi, which was delicious. Kids loved it, too. Highly recommend chicken and steak hibachi. The soup and salad before were also very good. They put on a great show, and the service all around was a 5/5.
My Abuelita decided to take my son and I out to dinner to celebrate his birthday, and the choice was easy. Sakura. This Teppanyaki-sushi place is great for the whole family, but it is still a great option for date night, too. The menu is simple on the teppanyaki side but it has options for all palates (less, usually translates to fresher). The cusine is a spectacle, all the chefs that work there have awesome knife skills as well as great showmanship. They prepare your meal in front of you on the traditional japanese flat-top griddle while entertaining you with a free-style cooking show. The food has always tasted fresh and the restaurant is always well kept. Alsobthe sushi side is cool, but you can order that from the teppanyaki side as well. I usually get the steak and lobster combo and share a Fire Ring Roll smothered in fried onions with the family (try that roll, it looks and tastes awesome!) We went there on a Sunday evening and it was busseling! There must have been a line of 20 people outside the door and just as many in the waiting room, I must say we all got seated i. Less than 20min. ( we called around opening time to reserve)
Tony was the best chef/ entertainer EVER. Had an amazing time with my group. Food was delicious and cooks our meats just perfect!
We had the pleasure of visiting Sakura for the first time tonight and could not be more impressed. We made reservations ahead of time and had zero wait and were impressed by the friendly service and exciting hibachi show. Highly recommend the filet and scallops and the spicy tuna hand roll. Everything we had was great and will for sure be returning.
We have been here a few times and every time it's soooo good! The service is amazing 👏 All staff are so friendly and super accommodating for my daughter who has Celiac Disease and has to have everything cooked seperate and have no gluten. The food is so yummy! We will be back!

This place is amazing. Excellent service and the drinks are good. Definitely will come again
Greatvplscr... food is awesome. The staff is great.. abd did I say the food was awesome? Hahaha.. recommend this restaurant.
My favorite hibachi spot I've ever been to, and a way better experience than Benihana in my opinion. Food is amazing - I always go with the Filet Mignon & Chicken and the fried rice is a must have. Chefs are always funny and entertaining, plus they have lots of great sushi options. It can be a pricey evening especially if you're drinking, but it's always worth it. 10/10 would recommend!
Beautiful space, especially near the bar with a tall rotunda-esque ceiling. Staff were exceptionally kind, but not over bearing, and always had a smile on their face. The food came out at a nice pace, not too fast or slow, and it tasted very satisfying. The prices were a bit high, but everything has gotten more expensive especially here in the lovely state of California. I'd love to come back sometime with a date, it's the perfect place for it.

great atmosphere and service. The taste is slightly above average for teppanyaki (remember to tip cooker after the show!service fee is not included in bill) But the waiting time is considerable long especially during weekend and holidays. Be Prepared to wait for a half hour or longer. It takes quite a long time even with reservation. I reserved at 7:30and did not be served until 8:30😢crazy holidays!
Sakura is excellent. The ingredients are fresh. The employees are gracious. The setting is both elegant and cozy, inviting of all different types of people and purposes. It's the kind of place that makes dining ou a special experience. The food is great. I ordered the Shabu Shabu and was given fresh ingredients with my own little cooking station to prepare them. My husband ordered the fish and it was fresh. Fresh fish is hard to come by, so if you have that, then you're doing right. The atmosphere is welcoming to all. There's a lot of opportunity for different types of meetings here. You can bring a big business group, have a family party around the Benihana style tables, or have a romantic dinner for 2. I see a lot of different people come here and it's inviting for every one. All in all, I'd recommend Sakura. Apparently, it's rated #2 for best Asian food in the nation by Consumer Magazine and they've earned it.
Good vibes. Service was good. Host was fun and friendly. The rice was delicious and the sushi was okay. Everything was meh.

The Unagi Donburi was pretty good. It didn’t taste too oily. I just wished there were more rice. We went again and had teppanyaki. And, compared to Kobe Steakhouse, the filet mignon was a little too chewy, and not cooked the way I asked for it. But, the scallop I had was good and so was the yakisoba. Overall, the food wasn’t too bad. But, they sure could have a friendlier host. I didn’t find the older Asian lady in the front too welcoming nor helpful.

Excellent food and tastes great except the portions they serve are meant for a chicken. There was barely any meat and a giant mountain of vegetables. Chef was annoying and weird and made stupid jokes. If you want to eat and get full you'll need to spend about $80.00 per person. Don't recommend unless you hate meat and seafood.

Food is mediocre at best. Portions are small, utensils and Service wear is questionable, Service is horrendous, host/manager treats everyone , including guests like a sweatshope dictator, rude, and unknowlodgeable. Rude assistant managers/minions of the Manager /host did I mention RUDE?!?!?
The first time we came here it was excellent! The food, service, everything was excellent! The second time was terrible. We spent $200 for 3 people and the food was terrible! Beef fillet was not seasoned nor cooked to expectations. Vegetables were still raw, not seasoned. It was a terrible experience with screaming kids at our area. Others sitting there were given more generous portions to share with their kids. First experience would have rated a 9! This experience would rate a 2 everything was off, very bad experience! I am a very experienced cook with an educated pallet. We will not be back.
