First time visiting and we came on a Saturday afternoon around 1 PM. This place is absolutely beautiful—so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated. My kids were obsessed with the flower aesthetics and kept calling it “fancy,” which made the experience even more fun. The food was just as fancy as the décor—delicious, flavorful, and fabulous with every single bite. I ordered the mimosa flight (three tall glasses!) and I highly recommend the lavender and pineapple. If I could do it all over again, I’d honestly get three lavender—that’s how good it was. It paired perfectly with everything we ordered. The kids had hot chocolate and loved it. We ordered one meal at a time, which probably wasn’t the best idea because the service was very slow. Next time, we’ll order everything at once. That said, the food is 100% worth the wait. We started with the New Zealand pot pie, which the kids loved, followed by a burger with potato wedges, and then the hanger steak and French toast—both are absolute must-tries. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely a place we’ll return to! Overall a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.
My friends and I celebrated Christmas at this restaurant this year. We were very pleased with everything – the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the decorations. I liked it so much that I celebrated my birthday there with my family! Thank you so much! We will definitely come back and I will recommend you to everyone!
Nov 2025 Love the atmosphere! Friendly servers. Good menu selections. My husband had a habanero fried chicken sandwich. He says it was delicious! Ihad a hanger steak & FF. It was prepared exactly to order: medium rare. The FF are shoestring cut. We shared an appetizer of Brussel Sprouts with a maple glaze and dried cranberries. It was very good and prepared differently from the usual pork belly and Parmesan served in most restaurants. Upbeat music played but not too loud. You could talk over the noise. Servers are fast, friendly & attentive.
This place is amazing! I have celiac’s disease (so I am gluten free) and they were super accommodating and knowledgeable! There’s no gluten in the fryer, so I was able to have delicious sweet potato fries with my burger! Besides having great food, the staff were so sweet and friendly. And… the atmosphere… gorgeous! Flowers everywhere and really well designed. Great place for date night, celebrations, or just for fun! Even the playlist was perfect (and not overly loud where you can’t have a conversation). Highly recommend!
This is one of the most floral style beautiful romantic restaurants in San Diego! If you are looking for somewhere for a girls date, here’s a great spot! It’s New Zealand food. We came here and amazed by the cute decorations, you feel like to dine in a garden. We ordered some a Zealand staple - meat pie, and a beet salad, plus a flower pot bread and baked Brie. Everything is so delicious! I definitely love the meat pie a lot. The beet salad is also fresh and tasty. The baked Brie is yummy with honey and apple. We had two desserts, one is a dark chocolate cake, another is a meringue. The meringue is super delicious! I highly recommend it. The chocolate one is not impressive. But the most recommended one from me is the espresso martini flight! All three flavors are so great, it’s really great flavors of the flight. I’ll definitely recommend this place.
Loving the Christmas decor! Came for brunch… Make sure to pack a jacket because if you sit inside you will catch the breeze from all open windows. Cool atmosphere with funky music. The veggie pie was so good! If you order a burger keep in mind that if you want fries it is $7 up charge. It says on the menu but we weren’t aware of this until the bill came. Burger with fries, a pot pie with fries and a drip coffee came out to be a little over $50. They present the check to you in a creative way… I took a picture but I’ll keep the surprise for you.
We love Queenstown! The food and service are always excellent. Tonight, we had Emily as our waitress, and she was absolutely fantastic. You will be lucky if you get her as your server.
Loved it! Quick service, quality food, and good portion sizes. Feels fancy but affordable. Parking can be a struggle though
Nestled in the heart of La Jolla, Queen’s Town is a stunning blend of elegance, charm, and culinary excellence. From the moment you arrive, the warm floral-inspired decor sets the tone for a truly inviting and memorable dining experience. The space feels thoughtfully designed soft, stylish, and welcoming, with a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. The food here is a standout. The New Zealand lamb was absolutely delicious tender, juicy, and full of rich, balanced flavor. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and packed with freshness. It’s clear the chefs here care deeply about both quality and creativity. What truly sets Queen’s Town apart is the service. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the experience feel warm and personalized from start to finish. Whether you’re a local or visiting La Jolla, Queen’s Town is a must-visit. It’s perfect for brunch, a romantic dinner, or a special outing with friends. Great ambiance, exceptional food, and outstanding hospitality this place is a true gem.
This is the cutest place!! The decor is gorgeous and unique! The upside sheep were super weird but I guess New Zealand has a lot of sheep lol. 🐑Perfect for a girls brunch or girl trip!! 🌸🌹They also have outdoor seating. There was no wait on a Sunday for brunch which was surprising, especially for how cute this place is! The NZ onion dip is a must have!!! It’s so good!!! 🤤Omg I loved it. I also got the NZ sausage rolls 🍖and the waitress told me they were on the lighter side. I thought it was plenty of food and I didn’t think it was light but I also don’t eat that much I think lol. Either way the taste was awesome and i really enjoyed it!!! So good. The fries were amazing as well🍟👍. Really really great. The food here was all around so good. Vibes were on point. Would come back! 👍👍👍
this place is absolutely stunning.. me and my family were planning on going to a different restaurant when we passed queentown. I literally stopped in my tracks of how beautiful this restaurant was. immediately we changed plans and decided to eat there. the staff was so nice, food was amazing and the amount of seating options was insane. you can sit outside , somewhat outside but have shade, there was lounge areas with pillows. the experience was absolutely amazing and i would recommend this to anyone.
What a great meal! Our server was great, the place was decorated in a fun way. We got the gluten free fish and chips which if no one told you, you wouldn't know it was GF, the sausage rolls and the pavlova dessert.
Me and my friends drive by this place and ended up going! The place wasn’t busy when we went and it has a cute design. The food was so good! It did not disappoint. I loved the tuna tacos and the burger. Plus the onion chips was so bomb! I would go back again.
We just had a great anniversary dinner here last week. It was our first time and we enjoyed it very much. The space is fun and has a great ambiance. The booths are big and cushy, there was plenty of room for our group of 4 and we were very comfortable. We were there around 5:00 and their appetizers were half off for happy hour. We ordered the baked Brie and the pretzel which were $10 and $8 respectively. They were both fantastic. The baked Brie was especially tasty, my only minor niggle is I would’ve liked more crostini’s to go with the cheese. We also enjoy the pretzel. It has just the right amount of salt, and the cheese dip was great. I’d say that paying 1/2 price made the price easier to swallow. Main courses were great as well. The steak and fries (cooked medium) was fantastic. My rack of lamb was also delicious. For dessert we had the hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, it was a treat and popular with everyone at the table. Overall a great experience, we’ll definitely be back.
Meeting up with the ladies at a cozy and chic restaurant, such a perfect way to spend a Sunday! The food and beverages were absolutely delicious, so good I couldn’t even finish everything. The service was great, and the atmosphere made it totally worth it for a relaxing get-together.

Amazing and interesting food. Would definitely return. Although, the service was not great. We felt forgotten.

Had the most amazing bachelorette brunch here! Everything was phenomenal, down to the final touches. Our event coordinator Julie was so detail-oriented and lovely to work with! Truly cannot recommend this place enough for a personalized private event. Such a reasonable price and the food is DELICIOUS!
Queenstown Village in La Jolla delivered a relaxed coastal vibe with great service, a smooth tequila cocktail, and the flavorful New Zealand 45 that made the visit worth repeating.

The food was awesome! The Brie appetizer was delicious. Service was great and the whole restaurant had a cool greenery aesthetic.
The food was pretty good. However the virgin margarita wasn't adjusted to taste good without alcohol so it had a really salty aftertaste. The atmosphere was amazing. Would love to come again once they get a new mochtail menu as the waiter informed us it was discontinued.
The Lamb smash was incredible, the Cippiono was excellent, the lamb pot pie was good. The Illegal was good. The Mai Tai was ok and the Porch Pleaser was good. NZ IPA was good. Service on a Sunday night was tight, except for drink that showed up after the meal. Atmosphere was "self aware chic"
I had brunch. Their french toast was good. The coffee and croissant were medium. I liked the Christmas decorations too.
This is my good friend's favorite restaurant. Such a wonderful atmosphere with a festive vibe and excellent service. The decor is one-of-a-kind, both indoors and outdoors. See my attached pictures. The food definitely lived up to expectations. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. It cooked to perfection. The only downside is the parking, which is a challenge at all La Jolla restaurants.

The servant was very impolite with us, spending so little time with us, she tossed the food and went away, she was a middle aged lady, I ended up tipping her but I definitely wasn’t satisfied how she treated us. Cocktails on the other hand were disaster, steak and fries were very ordinary, just the good thing was spinach and strawberry salad and the atmosphere. Won’t go back there and I don’t recommend it at all:)
