Rosemont Cafe is such a gem just outside the busy main strip of La Jolla. Fantastic sandwich shop with toast. They have nitro cold brew, coffee and kombucha. I order a different thing each time and I have never been disappointed. Call the staff is wonderful. You won’t be disappointed coming here.

The sandwiches are so delicious here! I got the lox bagel but I subbed the cream cheese for avocado and it was delicious! The bagels are fluffy and has lots of everything seasoning. The avocado toast was fresh and the little pieces of red onion on top gave it a nice punch. I also got a cappuccino and it was really delicious. I’m not a coffee person but I think I can safely say it’s definitely worth trying. Lots of seating inside and some seating outside. The vibes are great and service is quick. I highly recommend coming here!

We dropped by here the other day while we were in town. It has such a beautiful atmosphere and vibe. I absolutely loved all the decorations and loved the hand written menus. We Loved the Turkey + cheddar bagel, it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I wish google had more up to date photos of the menu so I could show friends and family the amazing items you’ve got!!

This place is absolutely amazing! We normally love to try a different coffee shop every day on vacation, but not this last trip. After the first day, I knew I had to go back every morning for coffee and try their menu. Everything was delicious. The coffee was great, the open toast was to die for, and their pastries are made by a local French baker. The owner is so sweet and her whole team, despite how busy they were, were so nice and friendly. Next time I visit San Diego, I will definitely be making a breakfast stop again.

Had a lovely brunch here, highly recommend. The service was great, the baristas were very kind. I ordered the avocado toast and wanted to add an egg on top, and they kindly obliged. The coffee was delicious as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Rosemonts was fantastic! We aren't from the area, and we went here during Hurricane Hilary. The owner staffed the cafe herself with help of her neighbor. They were friendly and accommodating. Due to a small wait, the owner gave us the almond croissant for free. It was very generous of her. It's a comforting location with great food and coffee!

We got two iced lattes, cinnamon brown sugar and lavender honey (recommended by the barista) and both are so delicious. Not too sweet, very unique in flavour, as in the sugar is not overpowering. Lavender honey is off menu, it is a must try!! We got it with oat milk.

My husband and I are in town for a week with our 2 year old and this shop is a short walk away from where we are staying. The people that work here are so friendly!!!! I love listening to the early 2000’s music they have playing, seeing all the doggies that are also regulars, and the food and drinks are super tasty!!! Perfect place to relax or get some work done. If I lived here, this would definitely it’s my be my regular spot for something coffee and a bite to eat. 💕💕💕

Great strawberry matcha (February special). Mediocre honey strawberry ricotta toast. Very pricey (it’s La Jolla). Good service.

Really moist muffins! Nice atmosphere and service is friendly. Coffee is ok - we ordered medium coffees that are smaller than a Starbucks tall for 6.50. That price doesn't make sense, we won't be back.

Got the Rosemont and Italian sandwiches. Both were kind of mediocre. Not bad, but not outstanding. The bread is a bit dry and thick. I’m sure the drinks are great, as that is what they seem to specialize in. I would recommend this place as a drink spot over a food spot.

So I cannot give you input about the rest of the items on the menu. But what I ordered there was espresso. And it for this place it was sour. Now the guy I had serve me was super nice and the atmosphere was good too. But the shot I had was super sour. Not bitter. But sour. I know espresso is not easy by any means easy. And to the guy’s defense, it could be a variety of factors. That’s why I’m giving three stars. But this was the second place in the area I went to have espresso and it couldn’t hit the mark. I had visited Cafe Vahik and Immersion Coffee for espresso as well and they couldn’t hit the mark either. To continue, for the basis of lots of drinks, it’s kinda disappointing. Even though they have a really good machine, a La Marzocco. It again just wasn’t what I was hoping for especially for what I spent on a shot. Maybe it was just my shot, but that was my experience. If you go here maybe get a pour over to play it safe. But if you’re looking for good espresso, as far as I had experienced the three places near this area are a miss.

Decent but wouldn't return. They burnt the chocolate muffin and still gave it to us. Latte wasn't good. The toast was pretty good, but absurdly expensive at $17

I’m not the one to leave bad reviews usually but I had a very disappointing experience. Got iced strawberry matcha with oat milk. First thing, it tasted like it didn’t have enough matcha in it(even on the pic you can see that the color is too transparent), very watery, all I tasted was oat milk. Second thing I don’t understand where were the strawberries…because I saw the girl chopping them but I didn’t see them in my drink, nor it was giving any strawberries by flavor either. Honestly, it’s the worst matcha I ever had. The service was fast, location is great, but the drink was sad unfortunately.
