I had a great experience at Deanos Pub! Their service is good and the prices are better. I highly recommend and will be back myself.

They usually have good bands and a dear friend of mine does kareoke there and you meet a lot of nice people there and friends that you know and street tacos are great. The bartenders are all great. Service sometimes is slow but they pack house on werkends so get there early to get a seat i have recommened to get one more bartender on busy nights.

First time there. Staff was great, and the live music was excellent.

Overall- cool, chill spot with seemingly loyal and happy employees. I attended a concert here and the sound was good, lights were adequate, and the atmosphere as a whole was a "vibe".

I had a blast at Deano’s pub Friday night. A big part of it had to do with that amazing young bartender chick with the tattoos the young one don’t remember her name, but I know it started with a V! So just wanna let everybody know who goes and check that place out make sure that hot tattooed bartender, whose name starts with a V serves you!!! The pub is also a good atmosphere with friendly patrons just a great overall place to hang out at and grab a couple drinks

I went to Deano’s Pub for my birthday and we had the best time! The bartenders and atmosphere was perfect! It was a really comfortable, safe vibe. I love that they have live bands, pool tables and shuffleboard. I will definitely be going back with my girlfriends for karaoke night.

I hate leaving reviews to places i love because i don’t want them to be crowded, but this is an amazing establishment that loves to accept new people and bring them into their community. . Out of respect I’ll leave a good review for Deano and Amy but the truth is i would like to keep it a hidden gem. I can’t give enough good words to this place. Come here if you want the perfect sports bar with kind personable experience

This is a fun little dive bar in La Mesa. We went on Open Mic night and there was lots of great music. The bartender was great too. I don't remember her name but she had lots of tattoos including a butterfly on her neck. She took great care of us and provided awesome service. They don't serve food but you can bring in anything you want to eat. Overall a great experience!

I go here every Tuesday for line dancing! I have a great time! The bartender, Sonny, is GREAT. And the people are easy going :)

Additionally, there is always live music on the weekends if you are looking for something to do. The staff is all wonderful and amazing.

I hate leaving reviews to places i love because i don’t want them to be crowded, but this is an amazing establishment that loves to accept new people and bring them into their community. . Lovely hole in the wall with great bands, but 10$ IPA's are a bit overtaxed with bars in downtown La Mesa offering same IPA's for 7$ 😬

Silly me, I expected a pub to have food. Great venue for music, but there’s no food to be had here except a bag of chips. Bring your own snacks.

This is the second time I've been here since they changed owners.The appearance of the bar has definitely been upgraded. He knocked out a partial wall to expose the street view. Also seems to be inclusivity to LGBTQ. Sundays pool is free. I came here for an afternoon drink. The advertised $6 Jameson which enticed me to come in. I had two drinks and got my bill. The total was $13.02. Nothing an extra dollar was a big deal but most places you go to the taxes are included with the drinks so you know what you're paying. I wasn't sure why so I asked the bartender and she was very snarky with me after I told her I was going to make others aware. She said they were fixing it in January. I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed at all. There was no music playing which seemed to force me to play the Touch tunes jukebox which cost extra money. Overall, the place was ok. Maybe worth visiting to form your own opinion.

Good spot for drinks and live entertainment. Also have a couple of pool tables and a juke box.

Seems like it could be a decent place, but for them to charge $3 extra because you want your whiskey "on the rocks", that's insane. Not like it is a large single cube, fancy type ice.... but the same ice they give you when you get a coke.
