Here is a real reivew from a local. The food is outta this world 🛸 The Turquoise Room is where you wanna be, by the music, but they dont take reservations. SD in general is weird regarding holding reservations. Not sure if its bc people no show or what but they do take them in the main room by grill. Staff friendly, and dont cook your food lol let them, it is sooooo good!

Our first time at the Riviera Supper Club and Turquoise Room! Great find! All of the cocktails on the cocktail menu sell for $8 during HH. They change up the cocktails every 3 or 4 months. Tonight we tried the bacon wrapped shrimp, deviled eggs, steak skewers (filet mignon-amazing) and corn dog bites.  We loved all of it! Sorry we didn’t take pictures before we devoured everything.  Oh, and the service was fantastic! Eli and Andrew were great as well as everyone we encountered.  We’ll be back!

Review of The Riviera Supper Club, we went to try their Happy Hour foods. This is unusual, I am a pretty harsh grader when it comes to food. This place was spectacular. We had two servers Andrew and Kim both of them were top-notch. We never had to wait for drinks or ask for service. Brisket corn dog.. is more like brisket sausage inside. It's fried in a homemade cornmeal dip. Very, very good, crisp on the outside with a nice soft breading on the inside. It comes with a homemade honey mustard sauce. You would find something like this at a fairground. It was comfort food the way comfort food is meant to be made and worth grabbing at LEAST one order. French onion was in a word, magnificent! The onions were so sweet, and with just a touch of wine, and the bread held a crispness in the soup. The deviled eggs were very traditional with little pops of bacon on top. Tastes like grandma made them in her kitchen with love. The potato wedges were more like baked potatoes with a French fry skin. Ask for salt. Add these with the steak skewers and you have a meal in themselves. But the star of the show was the steak skewers. The marinade is perfection! The tenderness the marinade gave them, melted in my mouth. How good were they? Well, I ordered 4 orders of them they were that good. Every piece of meat was a perfect cook to medium rare. Different size pieces on 4 skewers every one cooked exactly point on that takes talent. The only thing I was disappointed with was the bacon shrimp. They were overcooked and it made them chewy. They lost the flavor. I would suggest Key West pink shrimp. The sweetness of those shrimp with that bacon. That would put them on par with the steak skewers and that's a high bar it hit. This place is worth a stop.

Great spot to Chill! The happy hour is fuego. The quality of the drinks and food is top notch. Nice and dark.....and quiet. Highly recommend! Andrew did a great job of recommending, and making sure we were happy 🤘🏽

The hostess managed to find a table for us. Seated and service was quick to the table. Inside, you think you're in a speakeasy from the past. The food was good, sides were plentiful, and drinks good. The live band was a nice touch.

Yes, yes, and yes! Perfect local spot with music as you dine (in the cocktail lounge). Seating is limited, so get a good seat/booth. Music can be loud, especially if you're the booth right next to the band. (You may also seat in the other section of the restaurant, out of the cocktail lounge--no band there). Servers are attentive and personable. I went for dinner (cauliflower appetizer, burger, carrot cake), they have Happy hour (1/2 off some items) also. Can't wait to go back again with friends!!

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. We started with the Deviled Eggs, and I loved the nicely mustard flavor and delicious crispy bacon on top. I got the lavender bees knees and wow it was so delicious and refreshing. Then we had the French onion soup and honestly it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. The baseball serloin steak was perfectly cooked. Had the mashed taters and the mac and cheese. Both perfect and so flavorful. Then to finish we had the bananas foster!The service was impeccable and we had the pleasure of having Tommy who is a total gem! Give this man a raise. We will Be back soon!

This spot gave me 70’s nostalgia. We ordered the deviled eggs which a little too salty but still good..ordered the mash and broccolini and a wedge salad but my fave was the steak skewers with kimchi & I also had the boyz II mez drink that was nice and smoky..all and all I’ll be returning for that steak!

The place is an interesting spot. It feels like a mix of the 50s in one part and 70s in another part. The service was great and everyone was really friendly and generally attentive. The drinks were also pretty good as well. The food came out quick but for me it was alright. I do admit that I'm not a steak eater and I think that this place is big on their steaks so I had their shrimp cake sandwich. It wasn't bad but it was pretty dense and really filling so I could only eat half of it and less than half of the steak fries I got with it. I'd definitely go back for drinks again though.

Happy hour Friday was jumping! Band at 7 pm. Retro vibe, plenty of parking Steak skewers and French onion soup were delicious

If you enjoy cooking your own steak this is a casual place to do it. One half of the building is the restaurant with a grill in the center while the other half is a bar. Weekends there is usually live entertainment. Music varies so check the website for details. You can also order food that comes cooked so if you’re like me and prefer to leave the cooking to the chef when you dine you’ll have plenty of options. Although not a lot of choices for those of us who like more veggies than meat. BBQ pork was very tender but a bit sweet on the sauce.

Food was not anything to write home about. The sides were got were terrible. Mushrooms and Brussels. We got two steaks that were at least cooked to desired temperature. Drinks were good though.
