Lamento no quedarme más tiempo en la zona de La Orotava para volver más veces. Comida riquísima, precios muy correctos, también hacen medias porciones, lo que te permite probar más cosas. La terraza tiene una linda vista y las chicas que trabajan ahí son muy amables. Tiene aparcamiento. Entiendo que normalmente se puede pagar con tarjeta, pero cuando fuimos nosotros no funcionaba el datáfono (igual fueron correctos y nos avisaron enseguida, antes de que nos sentáramos). Recomendadísimo!

Lugar exótico, difícil acceso aunque esto lo hace especial. Es como una casa en la montaña, muy buenas vistas y lo importante, comida muy rica, 1/4 de vino, papas arrugadas y pata asada con salsa de champiñones 19,50€. La pata estaba auténticamente rica, la salsa era espectacular. Las papas muy ricas tambien.

Visitar el Guachinche Ramón ha sido una experiencia fantástica y muy auténtica. El lugar mantiene el espíritu de los guachinches tradicionales de Tenerife: un ambiente sencillo, familiar, con el huerto al lado y donde lo importante es disfrutar de la buena comida casera. La comida está elaborada con productos locales y cada plato transmite sabor y tradición. La atención fue cercana y amable desde el primer momento, lo que hace que uno se sienta como en casa. Al terminar la comida estuvimos hablando un buen rato con Jessica, quien ahora lidera el Guachinche de su padre. Fue un placer conversar con ella, ya que nos contó los inicios del Guachinche y los proyectos que está llevando a cabo en cuanto a gastronomía y viticultura. También pudimos observar unos álbumes de fotos de todos los buenos momentos pasados vividos en el lugar, ¡Desprendían felicidad, hermandad y ambiente de familia! En cuanto a la relación calidad-precio, es difícil encontrar algo mejor: se come muy bien, en cantidad generosa, y el coste es más que razonable. Además, nos llevamos un paquete de café exquisito! En resumen, el Guachinche Ramón es un lugar imprescindible para quienes buscan autenticidad, sabor canario y un ambiente acogedor.

Lugar espectacular. Concepto slow food. Todo es local y ecológico. El sabor de todos los platos es sabrosisimo. Recomiendo sobretodo el queso asado! Las chicas que trabajar son muy simpáticas. Siempre se agradece un buen servicio.

Hemos comido en este guachinche en abril de este año. Me encantó el ambiente, la atención, y por supuesto la comida y el vino casero que nos han servido. El almogrote sobre todo, buenísimo. Los que venden en el aeropuerto no tiene nada que ver. Si volvemos a esta zona de Tenerife, seguramente pasaremos a comer aquí de nuevo.

NO TIENE DATÁFONO, cartel en la entrada. Atención 10/10. Las carrilleras y albóndigas 100% recomendadas. Las garbanzos muy buenas, el queso asado diferente y rico. Vino tinto de la casa muy bueno, suave. El postre de la casa muy bueno.

I’d give more 🌟if possible. First of all for the amazing welcoming atmosphere. We came during heavy rain and the place looked like a closed garage, we tried opening the door but failed and then a gorgeous lady came and welcome us in. At the entrance you feel like you’re entering a private home/yard/garage. Nothing fancy, but a simple place that you instantly know will give you great service and delicious food. And this is exactly what you get😍queso ahumado - the best in Tenerife, with mojo and a hint of honey. Octopus- soft, fresh, almost no spices and delicious. Red house wine- light, fun, crispy. Beef stew/carne in salsa- like your grandma cooked it just for you when you come visit. It’s cash only. Portions are big, prices very reasonable and the atmosphere you cannot easily find elsewhere♥️

We stumbled upon Ramon's our last night on Tenerife. What a way to end our trip! I had peppers stuffed with fish and my wife had a chickpea dish. Both were excellent. Additional there was a group of six locals playing Spanish guitar and singing. Don't know if that was part of the show, but it didn't seem that way. Regardless, it was awesome.

I definitely recommend this restaurant for eating. Open from 11 am to 7pm. The service was perfect. Food was amazing for good price. Then we were lucky to listen traditional music sung by talented customers.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who grew up here, and I’m so glad we decided to come. I spoke only a few words of Spanish but everyone was incredibly welcoming, patient and helpful, and communication was effortless throughout. The waitress showed us photos of the dishes and gave us very good recommendations. We were seated in a small cute backyard under a banana tree and the atmosphere was super relaxed and nice, plus there were two adorable cats roaming around haha The food was excellent, I especially liked the octopus and the cheese platter, and the chocolate-coconut cake was quite honestly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place and would happily return!

Ok this guanchinche is in a shed. We had the most delicious smooth red wine 🍷 thus far in Tenerife. Homemade bread and cheese that comes with the table is so delicious and fresh. Chickpea stew, octopus 🐙 with mash, pork and potato stew and pork with mushroom sauce. All topped up with a delicious red. The drive up is steep. There is a car park but if you can, drive past it up and park up the main road would be easier esp if your car is large.

It was the perfect spot for our first lunch in Tenerife. Recommended by a local and i am so glad we listened. Everything was super tasty, and what you pay was really affordable. I totally recommend to do a 15min drive from Puerto de la Cruz and enjoy your delicious lunch with an amazing view. And the all female staff were so friendly!

Again and again "the best" guachinche in all of tenerife. We found this hidden gem last year and keep coming back since!! Every visit was worth our time and money. Order the 1/2 portions, they are by far big enough and you can try more dishes. We'll be back soon!! (Speaking Spanish helps a lot but they have pictures of the dishes on their phones)

After we visit Loro park we went to see La Orotava and we find this little treasure. I was tired of all the fast food on the sea side of Tenerife and that was like a gift to me. The staff is really friendly, but is hard to understand if you are not Spanish. Anyway , they have pictures of the food so you can see what to order which is more than enough. The food tastes like home made, the wine is so good that we bring empty bottle of water to take some for later. Definitely will visit again next time I’m in Tenerife.

Best food experience so far in Tenerife! We didn't know what to expect from the place and service, but we weren't disappointed. The food was bursting of flavours, local cheese and wine, local recipes. Friendly hosts that guide you through the menu. Not pretentious, just a barn in the middle of nowhere,but charming and friendly atmosphere. You have to stop by and try if you are in the area.

Had an absolute cracker of a meal at Guachinche Ramón. 🤗🤗🤗 From the get-go, the service was top-notch—proper lovely lot, super welcoming and on the ball. 🙏 The bacalao was next level—spot on flavours and cooked to perfection. Washed it down with a lush glass of house wine, and even the bread was bangin’. 🌞 🫶 No doubt about it, we’ll be back next time we’re in Tenerife. ¡Muy recomendado! 10/10

Amazing and authentic delicious food. Atmosphere very local. Outdoors and indoors seating. Food was to die for, i mean tooooo dieeeee forrrr. The house wine was so good we bought two bottles to go. You definitely need a car or a taxi to get here. The ladies working here are like the Spanish aunts you wish you had. So kind and friendly. Honestly do not hesitate and just go. I would find an Airbnb next to this place or just camp outside for 7 days if i could….

Amazing family run place with proper home cooking. Everyone was very friendly and patient. We had octopus and pork cheek. We also had a very hearty chickpea soup as a starter. The menu changes regularly but I have no doubt that whatever they cook will be tastefully prepared with traditional flavours. A real gem in Tenerife.

One of the best meals we had in Tenerife. They truly represent what a guachinche is. They make their own wine (also vinegar) and they grow their own fruits and vegetables. We could not have been happier with the food (cherne fish which is similar to cod, stuffed peppers with cod, salty boiled potatoes “papas arrugadas”). The team who runs this is awesome! They have a lovely garden outside. I wish we lived here to go to this place often!

This is a typical local quanchinche. They serve what they have on the menu, so it so not a la carte. Typical dishes, amazing experinece. The arnosphere is great, you dine in the wine cellar and they have a outdoor seeting available as well. Staff is very friendly and the price for four including drinks was 63 eur. If youa are arround, make sure to visit them.

1. Amazing food, so much tastier than in restaurants in the cities. The fried spinach balls are perfectly soft and tender on the inside, and enjoyably crusty on the outside. The squid stew is like heaven in a bowl. The octopus came with traditional potatoes and was also great. Chickpeas stew disappeared from its bowl in seconds, with everyone grabbing for a spoon more - it was such a delight. Even the appetizer (goat cheese with paprika spice) was great! In general every meal was very well balanced and we loved every bite. 2. Personnel doesn't speak much English, but are really nice and friendly and in case you don't know Spanish they come prepared with pictures of dishes which makes is so much easier - nice one! 3. Atmosphere is sooo homey, we really felt welcome and at ease. The wine of the house went great with the meals. 4. All in all, for the pleasure we had the price is really affordable and we hope to come again!

A principios de julio visitamos Tenerife y visitando La Orotava decidimos ir a comer al Guachinche Ramón. Fue una experiencia bastante agradable. La comida estaba muy buena, auténtica y casera, como se espera de un buen guachinche. El sitio en sí es muy rústico, no es un restaurante al uso: está dentro de una casa grande, tipo chalé, donde han habilitado varias estancias con mesas de forma muy sencilla, con ese encanto rústico y familiar. Pero lo importante es la comida, que estaba realmente rica, y sobre todo, el precio, que fue muy económico para la calidad que ofrecen. Sin duda, lo recomiendo si buscas una experiencia auténtica y tradicional en Tenerife.

Sitio muy agradable, el personal muy amable. Hicimos media hora de espera en la calle pero mereció la pena. Nos sirvieron una especie de paté de queso para untar riquísimo. El queso asado con mojo muy rico, la ensaladilla, pedimos carne estofada con patatas riquísimas. El bonito nos pareció un poco seco y por supuesto mucha comida, pedimos medias raciones y son grandísimas. Muy buen precio. Volveremos seguro

Lunch and was shown to a table on arrival. Surprised no wait but got busy later. Chickpeas to share,croquettes 6 and Beef meat fiesta for two with wrinkly potatoes instead of chips which is normally served with this dish. All very tasty and authentic. Half a litre of house wine and sparkling water. Dessert banana flan and house specialty Timba. Two coffees and a bill of Forty seven euros. Great. A word of warning ⚠️ the free car park is very small and to get to this guachinche it's a dirt track for one car only if you meet face to face with another car someone has to go backwards. You don't just come across this place by chance as stated in some reviews. Park on the main road and walk up the dirt track. Very recommended. Toilet score 3/5 cubicle only and no lock on the door. Lots of smellys to ward off unpleasant odours.

La atencion De las camareras es superlativa! Están súper pendientes y con una actitud muy buena! La comida sin embargo nos dejó un poco dudando ya que las costillas estaban tan saladas que no pudimos comerlas…el pescado a pesar de tener salsa estaba pero que muy muy seco!… los postres muy buenos… llegar al lugar es un poco complicado y incluso teniendo aparcamiento propio es difícil encontrar uno libre… lo recomiendo por la buena atención y el precio comida buena
