Tip: The regular size portions are generous, often enough for leftovers. Be prepared for a line out the door on weekends.

Best Orange chicken we ever had! All the food was good. Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
My family and I are visiting from Vegas, and our Hotel is right across from this restaurant. We decided to tryout this restaurant. Boy ohhhh boy… There food is sooooo Good!!! Our Servers Billy was extremely Nice and friendly. I also have to Thank the Manager Matt as well for such wonderful customer service and taking care of my family. Billy and Matt hands down you both are Blessed individuals and, I pray The word continues to spread around California. Best food that we have had in a long time while visiting California. Please Please bring this to Las Vegas 🙏🏾🙌🏾❤️
After growing up in Little Saigon, finding the right Asian restaurant after moving to this area has been a bit of a challenge. We tried this place out with some hesitation, worried it wouldn't be authentic, but I'm glad to say we were pleasantly surprised! The decor here is really something special--fancy and upscale, definitely not like the typical Asian restaurants we frequented back in Little Saigon. It's a fresh and modern vibe that feels both comfortable and sophisticated. Our server, Billy, was a standout--super attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially when it came to making sure our dishes were kid-friendly with no spice. As for the food, it definitely hit the spot: Walnut Shrimp: Absolutely fantastic. The shrimp was perfectly crunchy with a flavorful coating, and it wasn't mushy like you find at some other places. Easily one of the best versions of this dish I've had. Panda Beef: This dish was a real treat. It's like orange chicken but with beef, offering that sweet and tangy flavor profile we love, but with a richer taste. It was cooked to perfection, tender with a nice crisp on the outside. Bok Choy with Mushrooms: A solid, reliable dish. The bok choy was fresh and crisp, and the mushrooms added a nice earthy flavor. It's a simple dish, but they executed it really well. Service was impressively fast, and we appreciated how accommodating they were with our kids' preferences. The Fortune Cookie Milk Tea was a unique and delightful touch--not overly sweet, but just the right amount of flavor to end the meal on a high note. Pricing is reasonable, especially given the quality and ambiance. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Asian dining experience in the area. It's definitely a new favorite for us!
Best Asian food around. Upside Down Crispy Noodles are the best. Secret hack: ask for combo with brown sauce.
The food was so fresh and tasty! The service was just the best I’ve had at any restaurant for years ! Large portions to share and the crab wanton’s delicious btw they were hosting a huge birthday party at the same time for this really large family and still this was my experience not alot of places can pull that off at 8pm on a Saturday night …BRAVO !! We will be back !
I've been coming here for years, and I keep coming back because the quality of the food never changes; everything is always cooked to perfection. And if it's not, their manager Matt, will make sure that it's redone to your liking. The wok fried calamari is my favorite.
Adeline was our server and she made sure we had an incredible experience. I had the Panda Beef (my favorite), my wife the shrimp fried rice, and the kids had orange chicken and pan fried beef noodles. Everything was delicious!
This was my first time eating here and it was an amazing experience. The service was better than u expected. They were very courteous and super accommodating. The food was incredibly good. I definitely recommend and I will most definitely be back
Came here to celebrate the birthday of my mom’s friend. The staff were nice, the place was cozy, and the food was delicious! I personally really enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp, lemon chicken, and Lo-mein! Definitely recommend to come try out the food!
I tell you this..my Family and I have been looking for the ideal Chinese restaurant and this is thee One! Awesome service Delicious Food and Wonderful decor and atmosphere. They also have a full bar.
The staff is what makes this place great. Not to mention it was some of the best Chinese food we’ve had. The inside of the building is very nice and unique. Pricing for all the food was low as well. This place has everything!
This is another one of my favorite authentic Chinese food restaurants. This is place is amazing, there customer services is top tier they make sure you get what you need and take care of you. But lets get into the food there Mongolian beef here is the out of this world and walnut shrimp **chefs kiss** this is one of my favorite places to host my birthday dinners. I highly recommend.
Matt made my experience exceptional. Great service and quality food . Great value for fair prices. Matt was extremely kind to my daughter and her friends celebrating honor roll . Will return soon.
Our go to Chinese food place. Service is quick and food is tasty. Always consistent.
First time eating here and I loved it. The service was outstanding, and the staff was outstanding to. William the waiter was fantastic, he was on top of everything, he was there asking if we needed anything. I recommend coming here to eat. . I would come back to eat again
Such a fun and tasty meal! The first time we went, the manager came over to our table and chatted for a little bit and he was very nice. The garlic shrimp was my favorite thing we ordered but honestly everything was delicious. Family portion sizes are enormous! Can’t wait to go back.
This is a classic. Literally, everything is good. The raspberry lemonade is delicious. When they have their tea-smoked duck on special, make sure you try it. The staff is fabulously warm and welcoming.
My group of twelve loved it here. The staff were excellent in Berlin us with the menu, getting all the food to us at perfect temperature, and oh, the food was delectable. Yes, it's a chain. Yes, it's a little pricy. So worth it for the experience!
Genuinely a great experience throughout went with my family to celebrate the hospitality, service, food portions/quality, and quickness to bring the food max taking 15 to 20 minutes was wonderful. My mother really enjoyed the shrimps' and I enjoyed the Orange Chicken. The portions were great for all of us as my father had. Genuine good experience and probably will come back when the opportunity arises. Thank you to the cooks and staff. I should mention I work for Panda Express, but either way without them sponsoring this review this was a quality meal. Bring your friends and family good place that seems like a hidden gem.
Great food. One piece of advice, let the egg rolls cool fir a good 5 minutes before chomping down on them. We had Orange chicken and sweet and sour pork. It was great, it seems hard to find sweet and sour pork anymore. Theirs was pretty good. We got a lot more chicken with the Orange chicken than pork with the sweet and sour pork. Both were great though.
Excellent business lunch today and our waiter Jesus was fantastic! Thank you!
We had lunch here. Choose from their lunch specials menu. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. Everything was very tasty. Walnut shrimp was delicious. Good size porttiins. The service was excellent. We will definitely return.
I went for the first time and overall it was a good experience and I will be going there again. The restaurant was quiet, clean, and nicely decorated. The service was nice. The food was really good. Only thing is we had to wait a little to ask for hot sauce from our server, but he was friendly and attentive, I think he just got a little busy with more customers coming in. Food in the pictures below are wok fried edamame, orange chicken, and lo mein with beef after we had already ate some. Not pictured is the 'Pandarita' cocktail drink, it was good!
Been going here since I was a little kid, never disappoints! If you're in the mood for Chinese food but also want something a bit nicer where you can bring your family for a wonderful experience this is the spot. My favorites are the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and Mapo Tofu. To tell you the truth anything you order will be amazing!
Panda inn never disappoints. Food is excellent to the point I take a few orders to go back to Washington state!
Really good chinese food. I ordered the lunch specials orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The special comes with soup rice and a spring roll. Its a great deal. I also ordered the panda beef which is similar to the Beijing beef at panda express. Its really good too but it almost has a jerky taste and kind of felt tough to chew.
I recently dined at Panda Inn and had the pleasure of trying their spicy eggplant and tofu dish, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the texture was spot on. Additionally, the service provided by the staff was exceptional; our server was attentive and friendly, enhancing our overall dining experience. I highly recommend Panda Inn to anyone looking for flavorful Chinese cuisine served with top-notch hospitality.
Delicious Chinese food! Our favorite entree is the Honey Walnut Shrimp, it's a most have everytime. The Hot & Sour soup is a really good, too. We tried The Inn Crowd with lobster, pork, chicken and vegetables in a white sauce, it has a good flavor. The white chocolate dipped fortune cookie is a great end to a yummy meal.
First time in and so happy I stopped by. I’ve been looking for a comfortable Chinese restaurant / bar (hard combo to find) since moving from Washington state a few years ago. Great cocktails and super friendly service. Can’t wait to come back
Top quality chinese food. It is owned by Panda express. Owner operated staff. Very professionally run with a nice atmospher, great for avdate or meeting. I highly recommed.
Big thanks to Jesus! He had a great attitude, was very welcoming, and a pleasure to chat with. The food was great, and he made our experience even better.
Just love their Honey Walnut Shrimp…one of my favorite entree’s their soups are delicious too had the sizzling fried rice soup 3 flavors and the garlic green beans made perfectly blanched then sautéed in garlic and seasoning Omg…love the crunchy texture..too end your meal you get a fortune cookie dipped in white chocolate ❤️🌻highly recommend if you want and looking for authentic Chinese food that’s definitely superb
Service was fabulous and the food was excellent. Jesus was a great server very attentive.
My favorite for Chinese food. Their entrees are served in large portions perfect for family style dining.
A little on higher side with prices. But the food was great everything from the soup to the main course.
The food hand service are most excellent great atmosphere.
I came in shortly after they opened and everything was wonderful. The food was very tasty and hot. Serving sizes were great. The selection was great too. I enjoyed the walnut shrimp and the assorted fried rice. Both were amazing! Highly recommend. The restaurant was also very clean and nice.
One of the original Panda restaurants. I hadn't been here in over 20 years. Like most, I've been getting gourmet Chinese from Panda Express. It had been so long I didn't expect how much better the quality of the food was at Panda Inn. The quality of the fried rice and honey walnut shrimp were superb. Will be taking the family here more.
Cleanliness: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Pricing: 10/10 Our waiter was attentive and quick! Food was DELICIOUS & fresh. staff was super friendly & kind. Price points were fair. We ordered regular size portions & there was plenty for us 2 to have seconds AND take boxes of food home. Plenty of food in regular portions. It was our first time, but we will definitely be back! Great experience.
A friend took me with my family to try Panda Inn, his comments were good and he was right... the food was delicious and hot... we asked for family-size orders, since it has personal and family orders, the drinks are exquisite, the service is amazing and attentive, definitely a place worth returning to...a recommendation...go hungry to enjoy.
First time visiting this place after years of living in the area. This place is always busy, and you'll probably have to wait to be seated, but it's definitely worth the wait! The food was awesome, everything tasted delicious, well seasoned, sauced, etc. The prices are fair considering the quality of the food. We're definitely adding this to the rotation. A must try if you're in the area.
I went to Panda Inn right after taking my DRE exam and it was a great surprise. The food is delicious. The service was great too. I was greeted by the friendly staff, who guided me to my table. The place is clean and cozy. I ordered the Mongolian Beef with a side of rice which was outstanding. The portion was generous (I got to have it for dinner too!). I definitely recommend it!
Several years back we started a new family Christmas tradition. The movie Christmas story was the inspiration 🤣 of course. On Christmas eve we try different Chinese restaurants. This was the best so far! Everything was amazingly delicious. We invited my best friend (who is vegan) and there were many options that he loved. The restaurant is beautiful and even though it was crazy busy...the service was great! I highly recommend it. Anytime of year❤️
I went to the La Palma location with my brother and my 92 year old mother. The service was excellent, the food so fresh, the portions were plentiful. It was easy for my brother and myself to help our mother as she enjoyed all the food and service around us. The only suggestion I would make is to freshen up the outside with some paint and welcoming warm signs. Cindy, the manager, Adeline, our assigned waitress, and Bobby, our server, make sure that all our experience's were very pleasant with the feeling to return very soon and bring more of our family to enjoy a relaxing day at Panda Inn La Palma!
Our favorite Chinese restaurant, easily. My family used to go to the San Diego location all the time, so when it closed we were pretty disappointed. It was my grandpa’s favorite restaurant, and before he passed we were able to bring him here one last time, which meant a lot to him. Now whenever I’m in the LA area, I try to stop by. The food is consistently great, service is always amazing, and it never disappoints. On our most recent visit, our waiter Jesus was awesome and took great care of us. Highly recommend!
I have been a fan of Panda Inn since the 80's when I went to one in Pasadena. Always great food and service. Everything seems to be prepared with love. I haven't been to this location in many years as I had relocated to Arizona. So, even though I live in Los Angeles, I drove to this La Palma location for takeout. They have not missed a beat. I would show pictures, but we were starving.
my family's favorite chinese joint. portions are large, even the dishes that aren't family sized!! service is always wonderful- everybody is super friendly and helpful. once in a blue moon I will get a weekday off and I always make sure to stop by for the lunch special. I love how you get a choice of soup (hot and sour is my fave) and an egg roll on top of your choice of rice.
This place is truly wonderful and filled with honest, kind people. Somehow my package was accidentally delivered here—it was a Christmas present for my husband. They were incredibly thoughtful and trustworthy, kept my package safe and secured, and made sure it was returned to me. Even though I had to drive an hour and a half to pick it up, they were so kind and understanding the entire time. It’s rare to come across this level of honesty and care. I’m beyond grateful—thank you again! 💛 Kayla is amazing 🤩 as well.
Went there today. Had there lunch special which was very reasonably priced. The hosts were very welcoming. Beautiful decor inside and clean. Plenty of dishes to choose from. My friend had their Honey Walnut Shrimp and I had their Ginger Fish with Scallions. The cooks in the kitchen had their A game on. The dishes were perfectly cooked and the flavor spot on. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys Mandarin style cooking. Please come and enjoy the decore and their ambiance. Share with us your experience.
The service was terrific. I loved that there were multiple people serving us as we needed things addressed and not just one dedicated server. They don't carry sweet-n-low or any sugar substitutes (Just a note, not a judgement), so naturally, I got a coke. The food came out very fast. It was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. We started with wonton soup. Even our pickiest eater was delighted. I got honey walnut shrimp, which is one of those hit or miss entrees in restaurants, IMO. Let me tell you - IT HITS here. The glaze isn't too thick or overly mayonnaise-y. The walnuts weren't soggy or too hard. They were perfectly textured and paired incredibly well with the shrimp. The shrimp were also perfectly sized. The broccoli beef was also delicious. Fresh broccoli that still had that amazing crunch (but not too much crunch). The flavor was terrific. I wasn't the biggest fan of the fried rice. I felt like it was lacking some flavor, but it did have a terrific mixture of ingredients. We took our leftovers to go, and they reheated really well, which was also a nice surprise. We will definitely be returning.
We went knowing it was a sit down restaurant but we were impressed with everything. We ordered the Crab Wontons Potstickers Lo-Mein with chicken Veggie fried rice Orange chicken Broccoli beef 1 soda 3 waters All came out to $100~ All the dishes were ordered in REGULAR size. That was enough to feed 3 adults and 1 toddler with plenty of leftovers. The service was great! There was no wait when we went but not sure how it is usually. The food was really good! I was expecting it to taste a bit better than Panda Express but it was way better. All the dishes tasted fresh, rich ingredients and homemade. The orange chicken shows a spicy warning and also comes with red peppers but it really had no spice at all. When we were done, they boxed up our food and gave us fortune cookies that are dipped in white chocolate and those were delicious! I definitely will come here again to try the other dishes!
We eat at Panda Express all the time and I just learned that panda inn exists!! The food was soooo much more amazing than I would have thought. It was hot and fresh and crispy! The atmosphere was perfect for casual or date night. I’m glad I don’t live near here or I would eat here all the time!
Everything is always amazing here! Me and my wife have been coming here for years and have almost certainly tried most of the menu. Needless to say we have never been let down. We've had the luck of …

Great work on the details. Service was impeccable. The food was delicious. We ordered the sweet/pungent shrimp with their signature sauce. The shrimp were fresh, jumbo, sweet, and pleasantly plump. So good!! Love the soup and vegetable lo-mein. Did not care too much for the cream cheese crab wontons. Too much cream, not enough crab. Went back for my birthday 3/2025 and found the same great service. But the prices were way higher. Part of the fun is having them serve your soup table side. Didn't happen. Instead we were each given a cup of hot soup. I remember back in the day when they would prepare your moo shoo table side. Now they just bring it already made. No fun! It's not as good as it used to be
We hadn't been to Panda Inn for several years. Gratefully, the menu has remained the same, and we found our old favorites. Panda Beef, Garlic Noodles, Upside Down Crunchy Noodles, and Braised String Beans... All were very good. The unfortunate thing about the back dining room where we sat was the noise level tends to be very high, so it's difficult to hear your family and friends. The service was attentive, but the bus-people aren't very polished. They can be a bit rough. The waiter was friendly and helpful as we placed our order. With prices being what they are ($40+ for a family size dish), Panda Inn will be a very infrequent stop for us, as the prices make it budget-unfriendly. Still we are grateful for the experience and enjoyed ourselves.
BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free White Chocolate Dipped Fortune Cookies for Rewards members Free mini Dumplings welcome promo for Rewards signup Panda Express' sit-down cousin, Panda Inn is a longtime tenant at Centerpointe La Palma. Out of all these years, I recently downloaded their app and signed up for their Rewards program. Having both promos available, 2025 seemed the time to pay Panda Inn an inaugural visit. Mini pork dumplings- Juicy! The mini pork dumplings were a great welcome promo. They came already sauced, of which I added chili oil to kick things up a notch. Wonton soup- Chicken, shrimp, BBQ pork, chicken wontons, water chestnuts, mushrooms. I quite enjoyed Panda Inn's wonton soup. It was chockful of protein, and the broth was satisfying. What I didn't like? The actual wontons. The mixture inside was full of filler ingredients, and the wontons were a tad tough to bite into. Definitely not freshly made. Still, the wonton soup was tasty & had ample cuts of chicken, BBQ pork and shrimp. Good stuff! White chocolate dipped fortune cookies- I could not stop eating these addictive fortune cookies. I generally avoid fortune cookies, merely cracking them open for the fortune inside, but when dipped in chocolate (milk/dark/white), it's game over. Service was great. The attendants were quick with seating and providing assistance, when requested. The restaurant has an interesting layout, reminding me of an old timey schoolhouse or, dare I say, inn? Instead of a large open dining area, the dining rooms are semi-private. One in the front left corner, another in the rear front corner, etc. A small bar area is located in the center of Panda Inn. Parking is via a private lot. I'm a fan of Panda Express, and now I can definitively say, I'm a fan of Panda Inn, as well. The food was solid, ditto for the service. Having both promos really made for a positive dining experience. I look forward to coming back in the future.
Wonderfully casual place not over-the-top in it's styling and design. Ample seating and room for group parties and large reservations. The food is good; not special or unique in flavor or presentation but not bad in taste. Service is good, but not above and beyond. If you like to eat over for and not be bugged by wait staff, yet still feel attended to, this is a perfect place. No outside seating or dog friendly. Easy to find right off the freeway. The inside kinda reminds me of a restaurant that used to be a church with stained glass windows.
Dine-in now available at this location. Went in for Dinner and service & hospitality was impeccable. Very kind, friendly and attentive staff. While everything we tried was decent, I highly recommend the mini dumplings with sweet & sour soup and the orange chicken. All items are large family size servings except for the appetizers. The spring rolls are okay but they're just basic mini veggi spring rolls. Brown was was great 👍it would be great if the dishes came with more green veggies to balance out the meats but otherwise an overall great place to eat.
As of April 2025, the Lobster Crispy Noodles dish is not listed on the menu at Panda Inn’s La Palma location. This specialty is available at the Pasadena branch, where it features Maine lobster over crispy egg noodles with shallots and enoki mushrooms, accompanied by a choice of black pepper or ginger scallion sauce. At the La Palma location, a comparable option is the Upside Down Crispy Noodles, which includes crispy egg noodles topped with Napa cabbage, mushrooms, snow peas, bean sprouts, and carrots in a Shao Xing wine sauce, with a choice of chicken or shrimp. For the most current menu offerings or to inquire about the availability of lobster dishes, it’s recommended to contact the La Palma restaurant directly.

Wow, the bias reviews really threw me off when I gave this restaurant a chance with my family. We ordered 7 dishes family style. The food taste ranged from bland and almost inedible to okay and descent. The service was okay but we felt neglected at times since we were a party of 10 and the place was definitely understaffed (this was during Xmas eve). I'm just used to certain traditional flavors when it comes to Chinese dishes. Let's just say this place used a lot of oil and sugar to make up for the lack of spices that make stuff great. Avoid their Sweet & Pungent Chicken and Mixed/Combo Fried Rice. I can't believe I spent around $300 for some spice challenged food and had to apologize at the same time to my family for picking this place. Thank goodness the spirit of Xmas was flowing that night.
Excellent food! This place use to be a go to , it never made you look bad when you brought friends here. But For some reason plates got so small to the point now you need to order 2 plates instead of one, to get full even though the prices went up … 🤦🏻♂️ I will consider going with friends to the Cuban restaurant or Argentinian instead since the portions are better and may cost you less some times
Maybe because we only ordered the simplest food, assorted fried rice and sautéed veggies (bok choy and shiitake mushrooms) to go. They were just okay. Nothing special to write about, just a bit pricey for the quality and amount of food. The assorted fried rice came with 3 pieces of shrimp, 2 bits of bbq pork, few beef and chicken slices. The mushrooms were fresh and the baby bok choy was crunchy.
Ok I love me some shrimp fried rice but I have to be honest their rice wasn't on the level of real Chinese food it was more of a some buttered rice with veggies shrimp extra eggs a green onion no other seasoning the rice was white so I know they didn't add soy or oyster sauce or fish sauce ... The taste was nostalgic like my mother use to make... It wasn't nasty so I would recommend it just not if you was looking for the taste that comes with real shrimp fried rice.. 8.5 out of 10..
Not bad, not great. The best dishes from this experience were the honey walnut shrimp and the braised string beans. Even then, the shrimp was too heavily salted. I felt that the scallops we…

Very salty and greasy food of American style Chinese food.
The service and atmosphere were good, but my to-go order of honey walnut shrimp came without any walnuts. This was disappointing, and I’m unsure if I’ll return or try another restaurant instead.
So came in craving some Chinese food and was in the area and was like heck why not this place must be great since the one in Ontario is super good. Upon our visit there wasn’t anyone in the front waited about twenty minutes. We were seated and had to adjust the light because the other table had the light focused on their table it was so hard to see my eyes are still adjusting. Ordered mushu and the way it was presented it was just drop and run so we were wondering where the waitress was cause if we were first time guest how would we eat it. So fast forward we had gotten the rest of our food and couldn’t finish it. It was so bland. There was no taste what so ever. So disappointed because I love food and service is everything. But not once were we asked if the food okay or anything only as to us getting ready to leave where we were asked if we wanted water. The fact other tables were being attended and except our table I’m highly disappointed. I was going to put a star but I mean come on. Attend to your guest. If you don’t want our business just say so. We will not be returning to this place.
You can have a good establishment but get one person, such as a rude woman open the door and hold it open and make it clear they want you to leave, and suddenly you realize the people we are letting into out beautiful state of California. Don't be rude you guys. I was wrapping up a kind greeting to the lovely woman behind the counter and you made it unnecessarily uncomfortable and acted out in extremely rude and unacceptable behavior. It's important to act like adults and learn self control. Especially in public and at the work place. Thank you to the male owner for all your kindness but after this one single experience I will certainly NOT being going back. Also, teach your staff proper etiquette for how to behave in public. Thank you.
Not coming here again. We waited 15 minutes after being seated and had to find someone randomly to tell them that we have not been seen. \n\nFinally a waiter came and took our order. Our appetizer …
Would not recommend - they will screw up your take out order. When contacting them, your get no response.
My foo was way too salty, and our server was so rude and had attitude. He even made jokes about my friend hair and outfit. He didnt even apologize
Got garlic noodles and orange chicken. Garlic noodles were extremely bland . . . 🍜 Orange chicken was underwhelming . . . 🐔 For the price that we paid, it is definitely not worth . . . 😞 LOOK AT THIS PHOTO. 😐 Jesus was our server. He did a good job. 👍 Food bad. Server good. Would I ever come again? No. 😡
Wanted to come here because I was told it was the original Panda Express. Unfortunately, the flavors on the orange chicken were drastically off. Too vinegar-ish and far too spicy. Overheard another patron with the same complaint. Was told by wait staff that cook was new and hadn't learned all recipes. Really sad because this would have been a great opportunity to try the original recipes. The white chocolate fortune cookie was great. But that's it. Additionally, per the menu, I was supposed to receive a salad on the plate and none was served to me. Definitely not going to return. Ever.
