I don't like how they ASK you to tip through the drive through. I asked who gets the tips and it's split by employee by hour. Not how well that specific person or team preforms. Mornings every thing is fantastic...if you go after 11, it's all different, from the recipes to the teams attitudes...I no longer go anytime other than the morning.

This is hands down the best Starbucks around! The staff is always friendly and efficient, and they consistently get my order just right. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up on work. Whether I’m grabbing my morning coffee or a treat in the afternoon, they always deliver great service. The kids who work here are nice but I recently moved to the area and the last few days I have been here my order has been incorrect every time :( They need to take their time and review the orders more carefully to ensure they are correct.

Everyone who takes my order is so friendly and nice. I’ve worked at Starbucks before and the drinks they make are to the book. I never have an issue with it done incorrectly. Drive thru runs so great, if there’s a line it’s sure to move efficiently.

While I can only speak about my experience, I just wanted to say what great customer service they have at this location. Two different situations, one...I accidentally sent my mobile order to the wrong store, not realizing until I was there to pickup. They called the other store to verify and went ahead and made my drink! Today, I also mobile ordered thinking someone was going to pick up my order for me, and called to let them know that it didn't happen. I asked if they could put the drink in the refrigerator for me until I got off work. They then said that yes they would, but would also make a fresh drink for me when I arrived. Not necessary because this was on me and not them, but the fact that they even offered. Shout out to the staff at the La Porte, TX 146 location. Thank you for your truly great customer service!!

Stopped here this morning and was pleased. Time was about 10:30 am on a Friday and they were not busy at all. Large, spacious parking lot and wraparound drive through. I was greeted by Stephanie, who took my order in the drive through. Good customer service and drinks were on point! I love when I can light up from the first sip. Kudos on my brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso for tasting just right!

Clean store and nice staff! Mornings, lunchtime and 4:30-6pm shift change are a little hectic so be prepared. Evenings are sometimes slim pickings for food but drinks are always great no matter the time of day. I do know that Starbucks had a policy change recently and here are a few changes: waters aren’t free unless you purchase something. Sitting in the cafe isn’t free you have to purchase something. Baristas must consolidate orders before they are handed out. If you put your mobile order to be picked up in drive through it’s going to be by drive through. Speak up if you want your items. Mobile app gives you a window of when your drink will be ready. If you place it in parking lot it will not be ready if there’s a line around the block. I’ve walked in and seen someone create a drink in lobby and get mad they had 15+ drinks and food ahead of them! Follow the rules of the app!

I come here pretty often when I'm in town. The coffee is consistent, the store is clean, and the service is friendly. They've got a nice clientele and the vibe is bonafide for a coffee shop. My go-to is the White Chocolate Mocha with 1 less pump of syrup and a toasted butter croissant. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

The nicest people ever! I swear they make my day when I go in to pick up my order. I need to get the nice ladies name but she’s always very welcoming and happy to be there making the drinks. Big plus is that the drinks are consistent. They can be a hit or miss within Starbucks location but this one in la Porte always gets it right.

Grace is a national treasure!!! I come here when I’m feeling down and need a coffee/treat to start my day. They were so sweet and even suggested a flavored cold foam for the coffee I ordered (I didn’t know you could do that). Thank you for being unapologetically kind and radiating positivity ❤️

I stop by here way too much for someone trying to lose weight. They are super busy (probably bc of where they are located), but they do their best to make sure my order is ready before I pull through the drive thru telling them I put in a mobile order. The staff has been wonderful so far and they even write sweet little messages on my cup and make sure to tell me to have a great day every time I see them.

I had a fantastic experience at Starbucks! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing or getting work done. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and efficient — they made my drink exactly the way I like it. I used to work at Starbucks so I have pretty high expectations, and they went above and beyond. We were immediately greeted by the manager Tammy, who was super welcoming and sweet. Our drinks were great and they gave us a snowman cookie which was a great gesture. The other employees were really sweet and fairly fast for it being near closing. Bathrooms were really clean! The entire store was very neat! 11/10. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area. Thanks so much guys for the great experience:)

Edited review for the 1 millionth time. I finally figured it out! I ordered through the app: a quad iced espresso, in a tall cup with a splash of half and half and a splash of heavy cream. But the app doesn't print my order to say that. It never prints "tall cup" and always puts 1/2 or 3/4 cream (still confused by that... Is that inches!?! 1/2 a cup?! ) But what I would receive was so random. Sometimes in a grande cup sometimes in a venti. The problem is if you put 4 shots in a venti cup with ice and cream is way too much cream. Same for a grande, too much cream to espresso ratio. Here's what I learned to finally get the perfect drink: Order at the drive thu. Pay with the app. The drink is stored now, you can save it to your favorites and magically now when you reorder the saved drink, it prints my drink order sticker perfectly! It says "in a tall cup, 1/4 cream 1/4 half and half and ever since then my drink has been perfect! Service at this location is pretty awesome too btw.

I'm a regular at this location. It's a shame that corporate policy has become so stringent, I like to come in to work remotely and get a drink in the morning. I was asked to buy something to stay after I returned from grabbing lunch. Is there not any room for discretion with the new policies or will employees be forced to kick out regulars? It felt like my "valued customer" expired when I leave the building? (Dispite stopping by often) Edit: The drinks are good, the staff is great, many of whom know me by name. But the policy changes have put a damper on my relationship with the brand. 😞 sorry for using all of your internet.

I am a frequent flyer to Starbucks and I’m hoping that the taste is the same across the city of Houston. My last trip to this Starbucks, I did not taste my hot chai tea latte until I was about 10 miles away in which I had hot water with the spice of chai tea. Can I go to any Starbucks and refill that or do I have to go to the specific one I’ve never asked this question, but I hope somebody will answer for me.

Waited 30 minutes for a small drink and still got the WRONG drink. It seems like their priority are mobile and drive-through orders. It was ridiculous to wait that long!

This used to be the friendliest and my favorite location. I felt like I need to leave a review. Today my coffee tasted like pure burnt grounds. I did not see grounds in my Iced espresso, but it tasted horrible and completely undrinkable. Also worth mentioning my last few drinks arent even filled to the top. When we're paying $7 for a drink, at least add product or ice to seem like the drink is complete. Attached photo shows not even near the top and untouched. Take pride in the drinks you make. Thats gone at this location!

I never type reviews about places. I’m not quick to judge, but unimpressed and disappointed is an understatement. I drive up and was greeted per usual but when I asked what drink I should get, I was ignored….didn't bother me much life goes on. But I was greeted at the window barely driving up window still up to someone talking to themselves looking straight ahead then when I got to the window and rolled my window down she was looking away with her device out for the tip sign already. Um very rude I actually had my QR code out to which I waited there when she finally turned and goes “oh I’m scanning” without looking at me the whole interaction. Very offputting, no smiling, if I were to guess she was not having a good day. Then I was handed my drinks and the lid on my mocha frappe was loose I presume on purpose to which I spilled all this sticky chocolatey mess on me and before I could look up, the window was closed and she had walked away, so I drove up, parked my car in the line and went inside to ask for napkins, and if someone could put on the lid, right. The lady who rang up and handed me my order was very rude and offputting. I work customer service myself, and it’s just common sense to at least smile or address and acknowledge a guest to which I was not to the very least requirement. I will no longer be coming here to get my drinks perhaps the Dunkin 3 miles away from me will smile or have a better attitude when addressing a guest that has done nothing to them lol also, if you don’t want to work, customer service don’t.

I’m a regular Starbucks customer.. I’ve spent a substantial amount of money on Starbucks coffee. I stopped today ,because I have already had my coffee, for a cup of water. I was told I needed to buy something to get a water. A WATER?? You’ve officially lost a long time customer. I’m sure it’s a better ROI to give me a 5cent cup of water than losing a customer like me.

Picked up coffee a couple weeks ago on my way out of town and IT WAS BAD. same order I buy from Starbucks 3x a day. I immediately stopped at the next Starbucks on my route to get a decent replacement. It was so bad I decided to call for a refund. Manager said she couldn’t refund on mobile app orders. She said she’d leave a card for me at the checkout stand. A few days later when I was back in town I went by and they all had amnesia. This is the closest location to my home so when not traveling they had daily orders and revenue from me. Guess they don’t care about consistent frequent customers. For $5.00 a cup of coffee I shouldn’t have to worry about it being so bad that 5 miles down the road I need a replacement

Service was horrible. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 drinks. We got our sandwiches and waited 30 minutes for them to give us 1 of our drinks then we waited again for the second drink. They were only making drinks for I guess online orders and just stacking them there on the counter. The ppl waited that ordered from the shop just sat there. Finally tired of waiting for the second drink now my sandwiches cold we asked for a refund. Just horrible service!!!!!!

The lady who handle my order was very rude. The lady who handed me my order was nice but keep forgetting parts of my order. I hate the service here if David isn't there. Uggghh. It's too early in the morning for that. They never have peach juice.

Go if you want good vibes and nice baristas, DONT go if you want a correct order. Asked for a Venti Iced Caramel Protein Latte, got a Grande Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Happened here at three separate occasions.

A bit annoyed. Came at 8:20pm on a Wednesday, no line, not busy at all, no one behind me. Asked for two small iced espresso drinks and an apple croissant with a knife. I knew I'd be driving so I asked if they would please cut the croissant in half so I could share it with my passenger. He responded, "I can hand it to you with a knife." I said, "Thank you, I appreciate that, it's just that I'm driving. Would you mind just cutting it in half for me?" To which he responded flatly, "I can hand it to you with a knife." Honestly, I thought this was rude and unprofessional. A more appropriate comment would've been that he unfortunately could not due to policy or any other made up excuse. I felt like we received lazy and poor customer service. I also asked for a small splash of oatmilk and my entire cup was full to the brim. I like my coffee strong and asked for a splash for a reason. Then my straw was closed at one end - maybe a manufacturing error - but he had already closed the window and walked away. It was such bad service, I had to laugh. I do not recommend this location.

What is the point of have Ing a phone if you are not going to answer it. We called about 10 times and no one ever answered. Ordered on app and then realized the exit was closed and we would have to drive to Baytown or other side of la Porte to get back to the location.

I drive up and was greeted per usual but when I asked what drink I should get, I was ignored….didn't bother me much life goes on. But I was greeted at the window barely driving up window still up to someone talking to themselves looking straight ahead then when I got to the window and rolled my window down she was looking away with her device out for the tip sign already. Um very rude I actually had my QR code out to which I waited there when she finally turned and goes “oh I’m scanning” without looking at me the whole interaction. Very offputting, no smiling, if I were to guess she was not having a good day. Then I was handed my drinks and the lid on my mocha frappe was loose I presume on purpose to which I spilled all this sticky chocolatey mess on me and before I could look up, the window was closed and she had walked away, so I drove up, parked my car in the line and went inside to ask for napkins, and if someone could put on the lid, right. The lady who rang up and handed me my order was very rude and offputting. I work customer service myself, and it’s just common sense to at least smile or address and acknowledge a guest to which I was not to the very least requirement. I will no longer be coming here to get my drinks perhaps the Dunkin 3 miles away from me will smile or have a better attitude when addressing a guest that has done nothing to them lol also, if you don’t want to work, customer service don’t.
