Sitio perfecto para comer. Fuimos a comer por recomendación de los Apartamentos El Olmo en El Rasillo de Cameros y todo un acierto. Muchas gracias. El servicio inmejorable. Comida rica y abundante. Comimos fuera y, a pesar de que estaba lleno, comimos tranquilos. Tienen menú infantil y, a diferencia de otros sitios, consiste en que le ponen al niño los dos platos, como a los adultos, con menos cantidad y cobran la mitad. Todo un acierto. Espectacular en cuanto al sitio, al entorno, la comida, el servicio..... Sin duda repetiremos. Muchas gracias!!!

Hemos parado a disfrutar el paisaje de la zona y disfrutar de la rica cocina tradicional del restaurante de la venta de Piqueras. Nos hemos quedado contentos de lo rica y sabrosa que está la comida. La atención de la camarera espectacular. Consejo: hacer la ruta antes.. con los platos que ponen difícil de moverte después. )))

La comida espectacular, abundante y riquísima. Muy buen trato y servicio rápido. Sitio para probar y repetir. Los caparrones hay que probarlos, están para morirse.

I was there during the Christmas season and it was one of the few places open in the area to eat (I wasn't staying at the hotel). There was no competition, yet the menu was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful. The only negative thing I noticed was that they don't allow children to share a meal.

We've been stopping at Venta for years, ever since we discovered it. Even though we're from Logroño, it wasn't a familiar place. But for the last few years, it's been a regular stop. The traditional Riojan food is excellent. Their stews are delicious. The service is outstanding. Cristina and Eva are top-notch professionals. Friendly even when things are busiest. Attentive and incredibly fast. They seem to fly instead of walk. 100% recommended.

And because there aren't more stars. I stopped by chance, coming down Piqueras, for a snack. We had it on the terrace, a beautiful and very pleasant place. When we arrived back in Logroño, we realized we'd left our bag with our wallet, house keys, all our documents... We called and they confirmed they had it there. Another customer picked it up and gave it to them. We went back immediately and there it was, everything, even the money. We had a coffee almost out of obligation; the coffee was very good and the bar inside was very cozy. We wanted to thank them for the enormous favor they had done us with a tip, but they wouldn't let us. They suggested we come back for lunch another day. The next day, Saturday, we reserved a table and ate there. The dining room was full, but despite this, the service was quick and attentive. Everything was clean, beautiful, and welcoming. The vegetable stew and the caparrones (a type of bean stew) were spectacular. The pork cheeks were exquisite and tender as butter, and the lamb chops were juicy, flavorful, and crispy. A wonderful experience. We were surprised by the bill; it wasn't expensive at all. We understood why, even though it's far from the city, the dining room was full. Plus, the surrounding area is beautiful. We highly recommend this place; don't miss the opportunity to visit. A very pleasant place with character. Thank you very much.

Always a sure bet. The homemade food, the quantity, and the location are amazing. The perfect combination for enjoying good food between Soria and La Rioja. You have to go hungry and take your time afterward to enjoy it. And if it's winter and the wood-burning fireplace is available, even better. Everything is delicious, but the stew dishes and their signature cartons are not to be missed.

We had the set menu (22 euros per person). It includes drinks (water and wine), a starter, main course, and dessert, without coffee. The food was delicious and generously portioned. You could also tell it was homemade. Fast service, very friendly waitresses. The place is very charming, and there are hiking trails nearby.

We had lunch there yesterday, and it was very pleasant. The setting was incredible. Sorry. Very pleasant and helpful. We were able to eat with our dog on the terrace without any problem. The menu was decent for €22, with good quality and quantity. Afterwards, we were able to visit the transhumance museum, which is an annex building to the inn. We loved it; it was very interesting and enlightening about the hard life of shepherds. I recommend both the inn-restaurant and the museum.

Vente de Piqueras was an IMMENSE help while my friends and I were participating in an ultra-distance cycling race. The lady was exceptionally kind, waiting for us even though we arrived more than two hours late and serving us soup upon our arrival (we climbed the pass in 10°C weather, having dressed too lightly). We found everything one could hope for in a traditional inn: a timeless haven, full of warmth, charm, and tranquility, allowing travelers to resume their journey in much better shape than when they arrived. For all these little things that allowed our race to continue, madam, I wanted to thank you, just as warmly as you welcomed us. See you soon!

El sitio es idílico, en la subida del Puerto de Piqueras. Me imagino que por la noche... campean a sus anchas los lobos y demás fauna de la zona. El comedor originario tiene el encanto de la chimenea. Los dos nuevos no están mal, pero no tener una chimenea en un lugar como éste, es una pena. Comida casera, riojana, con buena atención, raciones abundantes, precio justo. Una excursión que merece la pena. (Mejor hacer reserva)

Estaba lleno hasta los topes, pero el personal hacía un esfuerzo por ser amable y eficaz. Como llegamos en mal momento, nos limitamos a tomar café porque aún seguían comiendo. Se agradece su ubicación después de tanta curva.

I'd been wanting to stop and visit Venta for a while. We had a very good meal, plentiful portions, and excellent service. It was a set menu, a bit pricey, but it's worth stopping to admire the scenery and enjoy a leisurely meal. Traditional Riojan cuisine, hearty stews. I'd definitely go back.

Hace 2 años paramos, nos quedamos encantados, se lo recomendamos a todos los conocidos, que son muchos los que hacen la ruta. Pero desde entonces han subido los precios más de un 50%, han impuesto una tasa de terraza, y obligan a comer un menú por persona. Toda la gente que iba de nuestra parte, no volverá. No hay ninguna justificación nada más que una pésima gestión, para esa política. Qué pena. No debería llamarse venta. Ese es un nombre sagrado. Qué cara más dura.

Viajamos 172 km xa comer en la Venta de Piqueras, nos avisaron que con los bonos de las cajas regalo tendría q ser a la 13.00, llegamos a la 13.10 xq la carretera no es buena. La jefa muy maleducada nos dijo de muy malas maneras gritando en el restaurante delante de todos que no se podía comer ya a esa hora xq el restaurante se llenaba enseguida y que nos daban de comer Pero q rapidito q estorbamos allí. Así que en lugar de comida agradable tuvimos q engullir la comida e irnos. Por nuestra parte y viendo q quiere menos clientela la tendrá. Hay que saber tener buen trato a los clientes.

The mistreatment I received from one of the waitresses, named Choni, has made it impossible for me to ever consider visiting that place again. Her limited skills, lack of empathy, vulgarity, and discourtesy towards a group of friends marred what was supposed to be a friendly lunch. She should take a course in good manners and behave like a true lady, which she clearly did not.

It's unacceptable that they made us wait over an hour and a half for our meal. We called to make a reservation and they told us they didn't take reservations, but not to worry, we wouldn't go hungry. However, they didn't tell us how long we'd have to wait or that some menu items would already be sold out. People who arrived later were seated ahead of us because they were filling tables however they pleased. Apparently, they don't care about the quality of service. The important thing is serving as many meals as possible to maximize their profits.
