My wife and I were on a cruise ship docked for a day at La Spezia on Oct. 11th, 2017. After the lackluster excursion to Pisa, we have a few hours to kill before we need to go to back to the ship. We looked for an authentic pizza place and walked around the area. We asked a local about any good pizza place in the area, and she directed us to Il Trittico. We ordered pizza capricciosa, a half liter of vino rosee and 2 cappuccinos. We were sitting near the prep area and we saw the baker worked on our pizza and using the traditional oven to bake it. The pizza was the best that I have tasted in my life. I am not an expert but for me that pizza was the best. The place itself is unpretentious, the service, very good, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend the place because they do not take advantage of us, tourists. This bistro is one of the best memories of our trip to Europe. If you got the chance seek the place, it is worth the trouble.
Great meal and wonderful service! We are travelling as a family of 5 and it can be tricky finding places to eat without prior reservation. We arrived at 7:15pm and they were very accommodating about getting us in. We started with a large focaccia stuffed with straccino cheese and topped with arugula, tomato and parma ham... shared with the table it was more than enough for 5 and tasted great. My parents had a pesto pasta and steak salad for their mains, which were both great. My wife, daughter and I each got a pizza and shared. The pizzas were all great, with some very unique topping combinations. We ended up with enough pizza leftover for a full breakfast the next morning. Ended the meal with some coffees and 3 desserts to share. The tiramisu and panna cotta were good, decent value for the price. With 2 beer and a litre of house red, the bill came to 104 euros. Overall a really awesome dining experience, and the staff were all very friendly (even those who didn't speak English were very patient about helping us). Highly recommended!
We made an impromptu visit to this pizzeria whilst in la spezia. The service was fantastic, as were the pizzas we ordered, everything was great would definitely recommend.
My partner is gluten intolerant and the chef came and offered to make her a gluten free focaccia to go with her meal. Food was amazing and a great price
Owner and staff were super friendly. Food was amazing and beer was good. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through the area.
We looked for a pizza place with my girlfriend. Its the best pizza we’ve ever had. Amazing location, good athmosphere and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, wanting to try high quality italian pizza.
Great pizzeria with good prices, a large selection of pizze, nice drinks, interesting selection of desserts. The staff is lovely, offering free limoncello at the end of your meal. We went there two evening in a row because the menu of the other pizzerias were not nearly as good as the one offered here. Fresh products, wood fire oven.
Super wood fired oven to cook your pizza in minutes. Easy menu with lots of choice Friendly welcoming staff. Prices are very reasonable. House red is easy drinking. Do go and try it
Would love to come back! The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly. Always was full but they found place for us. But better to make a reservation. The prices are really good, compared to other restaurants around.
For a town so focused on seafood, it was nice to find a place that did great pizza's. The only bad thing here is that you have so many good ones to choose from, you may have to just close your eyes and point randomly on the menu. Taste, good, service, good.
The pizza was above average for Italian pizza experience and the tiramisu was exquisite. I don't if it was the home made red wine they serve that made this experience great but overall it was a very pleasant and chill evening.
Literally the best pizza and pasta we have ever had, Ragu ravioli and diavola pizza were mega. Top notch service too 10/10
Amazing food, amazing service, and a buzzing atmosphere. The prices are cheap as well!!! Best place I have eaten in Italy so far. Definitely come here
For 32 euro we ate the best pizza with some wine and water!! Best pizza in town!
Our decision to dine here was quite spontaneous, yet it turned out to be an excellent choice. The food surpassed our expectations and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive to customers and offered great support. The pizzeria exudes a wonderful charm, both when seated indoors and outdoors. Without a doubt, we're looking forward to returning in the future.
Amazing restaurant, the food is amazing and the ambiance is also incredible. The prices are very affordable (pizzas ranging from 5 to 10€), the portions will not leave you hungry after. I’m actually a little sad we didn’t get to try the desserts because they all looked incredible. If you do go, try the sgabei, they left everyone speechless. We went twice and had the same server both times, he was really the absolute best and I didn’t catch his name but he made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely come back when I get the chance.
Very tasty pizza, friendly staff and affordable prices
A real gem - a bit on a side street, cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, super tasty pizza and all this with a little twist - I don't know based on what, but the chef invites you and lets you 'almost' prepare your own pizza 🤟😁👍
Amazing place!! The pizza was out of this world, the waitress very amiable, the pizza chef called me for a photo next to the brick made oven, don’t miss it
Best pizza in La Spezia!!! Extremely delicious Pizzas, great selection, friendly stuff and fair prices. We recommend the Ovest (pesto, green beans) and the Pere (Gorgonzola, pears and Honey). We had a perfect first dinner in La Spezia :)
Great pizzas, raisonnable prixes, big size. They even let us have two tastes on one pizza for the price of the more expensive one !
We were extremely lucky to stumble upon Il Trittico while exploring La Spezia. The service was exceptional, food well priced, and food was delicious. Their unique selection of pizzas were so outstanding we went back to eat here a second time - something we haven’t done in the last two months travelling as have attempted to try the largest variety of food. Highly recommended!
We ended up in this place by chance and it was a great luck!) For 31 euro we had two pizza, tiramisu, half a litr of good wine and water. They have special menu: one can make an order for surprise pizza and they will serve you 8 different pieces . The quality was impressing!! Highly recommend this place
Prices were very good, range of pizza options on the menu was fantastic, service was kind and fast, pizza was delicious! If I were to be really critical, the pizza could have been a little bigger! However, it was very good and it was enough. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return!
Amazing! Had a great time there, seeing the pizza get made in front of your owm eyes. The cook caught our interest and even invited us over to have a better look and try ourselves. This was a highlight of the holidays, thanks for the great night and last but not least the amazing food!😍
A must visit in La Spezia! Everything about our visit was perfect, no exceptions. You’ll get delicious authentic pizza in a cozy location. The chef and service are really kind.
Best pizza I’ve had in Italy 😍 Wholesome atmosphere and top-notch service. The staff were so lovely and we on top of everything despite a busy night! Very accomodating for my table for 1
Second time around, as good as ever, great value, but reservation mandatory for Saturday night. 1st review: Family-run pizzeria with a wide range including harder to find delicious white pizzas with cream filling. Featured is the Ricospina with its border rolled over mozzarella and spinach. Wood oven cooking is fine-tuned to obtain a perfect balance between crisp and melting. Service is fast enough but don't miss an order of sgabei, a La Spezia specialty of very light finger fritters that will get your meal going in style with a glass of Trentino wine. Hard to get a better price too. Locals flock here for a reason...
We tried 3 different pizza and some ravioli and everything was super delicious. The taste, the size of the dishes and also the staff, everything was perfect and probably the best place to eat in La Spezia. And also good prices
Delicious food. We ordered the ham and mushroom (with added Rocca) and the vegetarian - both amazing. Great service with a smile and humour. Sitting outside on their (semi-)private lane provides a great setting.
I have no words to describe how much I loved this place. Amazing selection of pizza for a great price. I really recommend!
First of all a great place with a good atmosphere. The pizza is great, and even better service. The owner working there has a great humor and makes the evening worthwhile. We had the “Italia” and “Nord”.
Seriously good margarita!!! And so affordable at €7. We will be back
Great pizzas, Great salad, Great vino Della casa, Great service, what more You can ask for.

17 of us went for an apericena at Cinque Sensi. We enjoying 2 hours of munching and it was just fabulous! Everything was made with care and presented so beautiful. The owners were so accomodating and…
Food was what you want it to be. Pizza and pasta was ordered both were a delight The pizzaiolo was inviting the younger guests to take a picture with their order before they bake it. Prices are very good! Grazie per tutti!
One of the good pizzerias in La Spezia - at least, locals seem to enjoy eating, here. I myself was never disappointed. They have a giro pizza - pizza tasting- option for two, which offers two pizzas with each quarter a different base/topping.
Nice italian restaurant having also options of glutenfree pizza base for +1 €. Pizza was little big chewy, but the taste was so good! Friend of mine had pasta filled with something wallnuts and said it was also good. The wine was very nice. There was slight issue with payment by card bcs their terminal did not have signal and returned the payment. We were told to wait for few minutes and then to try it again and as an apology we got shots of limoncello, so good! The waitres and also the owner (at least I assume it was the owner) were so nice to us! Definitely recommend to visit this restaurant, even if you are gluten free.

Attached picture can tell you everything about the place - just turn around and leave. We entered, the waiter was extremely rude and told us that there's no space (even though there was because we entered and saw empty tables) then waved his hands and left. I've dealt with rude waiters before, but this was new high. Avoid at all costs.
Pizza is ok. Pasta is below average. Busy place however service is horrible. They cannot keep up with the rush. U need to remind for everything u need. Even after asking for olive oil thrice it wasn’t served. People had to get up to ask for plates.
