We went for lunch on the recommendation of my son, who lives in La Vall. Besides the selection of sandwiches they offer, the price is even better: two sandwiches, a drink, olives, hot chocolate, a chocolate, and the spectacular cremaet (a traditional Valencian coffee drink) for €17. So we've made a note to return. The photos speak for themselves.

Without a doubt, a well-deserved Cacau d’Or! The owners are very helpful and attentive. The food is quite good and the price is incredible. We've been visiting every summer. I also highly recommend trying their XL burgers—only for the brave! And what can I say about the pizzas? They're so big they can't fit any more toppings, but don't worry, if there's any leftover, they'll make you a picnic! 😉

8.50 for a full lunch with a special cremaet (a traditional Valencian coffee drink) with honey. As a complimentary pastry, they gave us a kind of sweet roll. Very good service. Just be sure to book, it gets very busy. We were lucky to find a table inside; it's a miracle we didn't have lunch. If so many people go there, it must be a good sign, right?

We went for lunch as a group. A large garlic omelet sandwich with bacon. Good bread and good quality ingredients. We ordered three types of peanuts and olives. A carajillo (coffee with brandy) with honey and a complimentary sweet roll. All for €8.50 per person. Attentive and professional service.

Great, 10-star service. The ladies who served us were very nice and attentive. We had a wonderful time on the sun-drenched terrace, especially after a long hike. The calamari sandwich was delicious, and the house shot was top-notch! If we return to Alfondeguilla, we'll definitely stop here.

One of the best bars for our traditional "breakfast" after a mountain hike. Winner of the Cacau d'Or award, it offers excellent food, friendly service, and super-efficient service. Special mention goes to the "cremeet." Belinda and her sister, with their usual good humor, make you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went there. The sandwiches were delicious, the bread was great, and the service was great. We recommend it. We had coffee and they gave us a traditional dessert as a taste. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered Bocadillos, Sepia and Tinto de Verano. Sepia and Tinto were good. The Bocadillos were ok... I would prefer the bread a little more softer.

We went for lunch and ordered oxtail croquettes, calamari, and garlic shrimp. For our main course, we had cuttlefish sandwiches and a cuttlefish with a side dish. The potatoes were refried and very oily; it was clear they had been cooked in the same oil as other foods. The starters were fine. The cuttlefish was tough and bland; it wasn't good at all. For dessert, we had homemade tiramisu, which was quite good, and some cremaets (a type of Catalan coffee), which didn't live up to expectations. The service was very attentive and correct throughout.

Tasty yes BUT Garlic prawns here more expensive than the top restaurant in Madrid Casa Lucio. !!!!! A beer and wine in bar is €5 on average. We had: 2 1/2 beers & 2 glasses of wine. 1 chips 1 packet of crisps (50cents) & 1 prawns in garlic. A Beer & wine (is always €5 roughly so €10) 1 chips is €2.5/ €3 Crisps 50c So that’s €15.50 Our bill was €36!! Which makes 1 prawns with garlic €20.5!!! Casa Lucio in Madrid Garlic Prawns €20.

Today I had lunch with some friends at Les Cholines and I left very disappointed. First, because of the poor service from one of the waitresses. I'm celiac and this girl wasn't very knowledgeable about everything that entails, especially regarding how she answered and served us. In contrast, Clara, I think that was the other waitress's name, was excellent. Second, they charged us €56 for four main courses, a salad, and four cremaets (a type of coffee). In my opinion, that seems a bit high.
