We came here for Oc Restaurant week. We got gobi manchurian classic indo chinese dish. Perfect balance of crispy. Tangy and spice love it. Complimentary pappadums small touch sets the tone with chutney. The chicken tikka masala the comfort dish of india rich creamy was spicy which i love. Hara bara kebabs veggie amazing. With mint chutney and pickled onion . The choco puffs ( gol goppa style) playful twist on pani puri that blends chocolate and frosez mango lassi
The food here is really unique and delicious. As an Indian I was surprised how well the chefs who were Mexican made it. We took the chicken tikka Mango herbanaro, crispy spinach and the chef made fresh chai for me. They staff were very sweet
Rangeen Kitchen is quickly becoming one of my happy places in South OC. It is bright, cozy, and colorful, and you can feel the Indi Cali thing as soon as you sit down. It feels casual enough to bring kids, but the flavors are absolutely grown up. We started with the Pani Puri and the Gobhi Manchurian. The Pani Puri is everything you want in that first bite, crisp semolina puris that you fill and dunk so you get the hit of potatoes, spiced water, and sweet tamarind in one shot. The Gobhi Manchurian is addictive, fried cauliflower tossed in a sweet, tangy, spicy sauce with just enough ginger and chili that you keep reaching back “just for one more piece.” The kids were thrilled with the Chicken Tender Meal – kids, which comes with chicken tenders and fries and actually feels like real food instead of an afterthought on the menu. For mains, we shared the Plate: Paneer Tikka and the Plate: Chicken Mango Habanero Chicken Tikka. Both arrive beautifully plated with herb salad, rice, and tikka sauce, which makes it really easy to share. The Paneer Tikka is grilled paneer and bell peppers, nicely charred, with lime pickled onions on top that cut through the richness in the best way. The Chicken Mango Habanero Chicken Tikka is the star, juicy grilled chicken smothered in a sweet and spicy mango habanero sauce with bell peppers. It has a slow, pleasant heat and never tips into “too sweet,” especially when you drag a piece through the tikka sauce and the rice. Drinks and dessert were such a fun part of the meal. We tried two of the the Masala Chai, and a Mango Lassi. The Masala Chai comes hot and fragrant, with warm spices that feel like a hug in a cup, and the Mango Lassi is creamy and not overly sweet, a great reset between bites of spice. We finished with Gulab Jamun, soft, warm, and soaked in syrup with that hint of cardamom and rose that lets you know someone cared about the details. Service is where Rangeen really shines. Jaime gave us genuinely some of the best service I have had in the area. He was super attentive and kind, checked on us often without hovering, walked us through the menu, and took care of us like it was his own restaurant. By the end of the meal we felt like family, not just another table to turn. Between the thoughtful food, kid friendly options, and the way Jaime and the team take care of you, Rangeen Kitchen is absolutely going into our regular rotation.
Food is well prepared and tastes delicious. Service was great and all the items were pretty good.
Amazing food, interesting options and great service. We are glad to find this hidden gem and definitely will come back for sure! Their spinach appetizer is 👌👌
Ordered on superbowl Sunday, they had a special promo. Order was ready when i arrived right on time, was hot when i got it home 12 min away and was absolutely amazing! The aromas and sauces seemed perfect, the chicken so moist. The Naan bread.....was like it was just made.......well I did see them making Naan so maybe it was. Soooooo good. And well packaged for my Togo order. We ordered the chicken tikimasala, curry chicken korma, tamarind wings and garlic Naan. Not my 1st time there and definitely not the last. Thank you Rangeen!
Amazing quality and food presentation. As a foodie and someone who’s very particular about taste, this place has all of it. The presentation, and most importantly the taste is just amazing. It’s a must try if you are looking for a new twist to the Indian food. We recently did catering with them, and they not only provide you excellent food, on top also suggest on presentation and things to add in sides. Love it ❤️
Update: August 26,2023 Looking for a mix of authentic traditional Indian dishes with a twist? Look no further! This hidden gem in the OC has gourmet style Indian food that tastes homemade. Small cozy place with a lovely, colorful decor. Excellent customer service and didn’t have to wait too long for food. The Beets & Figs salad has goat cheese, oranges, mint, and roasted chipotle pumpkin seeds. Beautiful to the eye and tasted so yummy! The lamb meatballs were a great addition to this salad! The Matcha Shikanji was not our favorite. Too sour and not enough matcha. Liked the Marigold- passion fruit more. LOVE their Tikka Masala! This time I chose to get it with the lamb meatballs and medium heat! Just the right amount of spice and oh so flavorful!! Perfect over rice! The dessert platter is a MUST! Everything on it is not too sweet but has all the goodness and flavors. The mango mousse filled golgappa dipped in chocolate has a nice crunch with that liquid gold! The Kulfi was a delight! Loved the bits of pistachio in it! The Saffron & rose pana cotta was beautiful! The refreshing saffron rose pana cotta was firm and creamy. Great texture from the pomegranate, chia seeds, and pistachios. Tasted amazing! *********************************** Chase the flavors!! Welcome to Flavortown!! Pineapple Tawa Rice Basmati rice, mixed with tender pineapple peppered peanut masala. Chicken Tikka Masala Curry:Moist and flavorful. The curry was perfect. The curry was layer upon layer of deliciousness. Chicken Korma Curry Asked for extra spicy. The curry had a great depth of flavor. The naan is freshly made. We had both the naan and garlic naan. So good!! The drinks are colorful and refreshing! Drinks: Marigold- passion fruit, Golden Soda Ginger Ale, Mango Lassi Desserts: Chocolate Puffs With Mango Mousse:creamy, tangy. Light and delicate. This is a splendid place to have some gourmet style Indian food. Everything in the menu is carefully curated and plated which speaks to the quality. There are no food colors and excessive heaviness in the dishes. I tried the crispy green chaat which was a burst of flavors, fresh ingredients and really lifts up your tastebuds. Gobi Manchurian is pretty good as well, less batter, more flavors. I lived the chicken tikka masala, the curry was perfect. It felt like eating homemade Indian food which is not very common among Indian restaurants here as they continue to butcher this dish but this one is going to bring me back here often! Mango Habanero chicken tikka was an interesting fusion ! Definitely worth trying! The dessert platter is a must. Everything on it is not too sweet but has all the goodness and flavors. My favorite was mango mousse filled golgappa dipped in chocolate. The owners are very humble and welcoming people and answer any questions you have regarding the dishes. Its a must visit!
Fantastic. Everything was fresh and flavorful! I got the Tandoori Chicken kabob plate with a very refreshing & flavorful salad. The chimi churri was a nice touch to the chicken full of citrus and an almost floral like spice! I ordered the pomegranate rose pana cotta for dessert which was also very refreshing. These days it’s rare to find a restaurant that’s worth the money and using high quality ingredients! Bryan at Rosetta Coffee company recommended this place to me and so far I’ve learned that his palate does not lead you astray! Go see Bryan for some top notch spicy chai he makes everything fresh/homemade himself just like this place does! If you have a discerning palate and 9/10 prefer eating at home these days then you need to come here! I recommend this restaurant to people who appreciate fresh flavors and quality over quantity! (Don’t worry you’ll be satisfied You will not leave starving!) I am so grateful for places who prioritize fresh herbaceous flavors & high quality ingredients it truly is a rarity thing today! Also appreciate the cleanliness and good jazz music they played! 10/10 for presentation, service and food!
Indian cuisine in general is known for its rich flavors and variety. Not for its presentation - that distinction is held by the French. Rangeen brings a flair of presentation to the already rich cuisine. The owner herself took our order and oversaw our dining experience - her pride in her creations and attention to detail was obvious. We have so many items on the menu to try. We'll be back!
This was a unique and fun Indian food outing. The family enjoyed it. The dishes were a slight variation on Indian food and they were enjoyable. If you want Indian cuisine but are bored of the same old thing, this should be something new to add to your list.
I like Indian food and always looking out for the new place to try. This place is pretty interesting! Its a fusion Indian place but thhey also have traditional items. It's really good and the taste is very different but delicious at the same time. All dishes that we ordered was delicious. The server was nice. Had a good experience here. We got the naan crostini, saag lamb meat balls, chicken Tikka.
I had the lovely experience of hiring Rangeen to cater my party of 140 people. The team did an absolute fantastic job creating a menu, coordinating the requirements and most importantly, delivering on fantastic food! So many of the guests complimented the food for the presentation, creativity and taste - it really was the talk of the party. It is an definite no-brainer to hire Rangeen for your next event. I guarantee I will be working with them again.
We’ve visited here more than once. It’s impossible to get enough of this goodness! The food is beyond amazing! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend visiting for lunch or dinner. We are so pleased with the flavor and every bite is divine. Marigold iced tea is refreshing and delicious. The dessert sampler is perfect for a celebration!
The best Indian food I have ever had in the US! So authentic taste-wise and soo "Cali" presentation-wise! We tried the crispy chaat, lamb meatballs, fish tikka, naan crostini, I would call it a feel-good comfort food. The desert sampler was a surprise with very unique flavors and perfect to end the meal with. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food in LA/Laguna Niguel.
Out of this world! Rangeen seamlessly blends Indian and California cusine in every dish, balancing some of the most unique flavors that will make your mouth water from the first sight. The presentation is always captivating, and the attentive service, especially from Jaime, makes us continue coming back. Rangeen is perfect for intimate dates and is even a nice place to take your family. We highly recommend trying the Mango Lassi (it’s out of this world), Ghobi or chicken Manchurian, Tikka Masala, and Mango Habanero Chicken Tikka. 😍

A nice cozy Indian fusion food joint. We went for dinner on a weekday and there was no waiting. The food is really amazing and they have ample vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options. We had paneer Tikka masala, which came with rice and also had roti and hara bhara kabab. All food was well presented and was in good quantities. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. Will surely visit again.

This was a nice find and the only healthier Indian cuisine restaurant in OC, that I know of. It is actually Indi-Cali which is a good spin on the usual Indian dishes. I loved the taste of the food as well as the presentation. Even though the restaurant is not that big the serving makes it feel like a fine-dine place. Sukhi and Ankush are great hosts and were helpful in explaining the new dishes on their menu as well as suggesting relevant dishes that suited our palate. I will eat here again and again and definitely suggest it to others who are bored of the traditional Indian dishes or just want to eat something which is less oily or greasy.
I've been here couple of times already and love the specialty preparation of famous Indian dishes. Drinks are colorful and refreshing, food is delicious, and desserts are creative and hit the right notes. My go to place for fine dining Indian food experience at budget.
Great menu and quality food , Good service Vegetarian options available. We were here today with bunch of my friends and we all loved it. I especially being vegetarian loved hara bara kebab and desserts. All my non vegetarian friends were very happy with the quality of meat they served. Portion was little less but food was top notch. It's a unique experience in Irvine . Definitely going back again .
Had a great time at Rangeen. Just stumbled upon it and it didn’t disappoint. Great host! Love the welcoming attitude and “yes can do” attitude. Small place and when we walked in there wasn’t much room. They still accommodated us. Creative starters. We are vegetarians and found good choices. Presentation was very good. Modern and chic. They have been around less than 1 year and I’d encourage people to support them- need to see more of these businesses succeed
We had a great experience catering with Rangeen Kitchen at our event. All food was delicious. The planning was very easy and straightforward. Really enjoyed collaborating with Sukhi for the event. Highly recommend!
Always blown away by the amazing flavors at Rangeen. It’s so clear they put so much time and effort into each dish — easily some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had.
Laguna Niguel is blessed to have an establishment of this caliber. Rangeen serves the type mouthwatering Indian food I’d only expect to find in LA. 2 things I love: 1. They don’t cut corners on quality. Prepared with the freshness of a homemade meal. 2. The menu is huge. Delicious authentic Indian and creative fusion, vegan and non-vegan. My wife is vegan which is how we first discovered Rangeen. I loved all the dishes she ordered.
I had lunch at Rangeen Kitchen this week with friends and loved it! The food is absolutely delicious - colorful, fresh and very tasty. We shared dishes so we could experience a variety: Gobi Manchurian, Habanero Mango Chicken Tikka, Lamb Seekh Kebab and Chicken Tikka Masala. For dessert we had Chocolate Puffs with Mango Pudding (not to be missed), which both surprises and delights. Normally, I have a favorite dish that I always order for each restaurant I visit, but after eating at RK I can see myself wanting to explore the entire menu. We totally missed out on ordering one of their Special Drinks and I don't know which one I'd order first - maybe the Mango Lassi.
You'll experience a lot of good flavors in one dish. I recommend their Chicken Tikka Masala and Mango Lassi. Also, the salad that comes with the plate has a great dressing, I don't know what herbs were used in the dressing, but it tastes super fresh.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by this casual restaurant located within an outdoor shopping center. The food was fresh and delicious and made to order. I ordered the Hara Bhara Kebab plate which was beautifully presented on a black rectangular plate which was equal to presentation at a fine dining restaurant. I also appreciate all the vegetarian and vegan options. My server, Hamad, was friendly and attentive.
This is THE BEST Indian food I have ever tried in my life. I come here almost every day now. My personal favorites here are Pineapple Tawa rice and Mango Habanero chicken. And don’t forget to try their desserts!
Hidden gem. There is flavor in every bite. Their staff is really knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely bring my parents here when they are visiting me in US. Also just realized this place has 5 star reviews. Never been to a restaurant with 5 stars before. It’s truly a pleasant experience :)
Easy to see why this place has such great reviews. The food is incredible, super flavorful and well executed. Lots of gluten free and vegan options and very allergen friendly labels on menu.
The food is really good. Not oily, beautifully presented, balanced, and well-spiced. I recommend the Mango Habanero Paneer Tikka, Crispy Green Chaat, and the Go I Manchurian! Shoutout to Melanie for excellent service.
Catered from rangeen kitchen for my sons birthday party. The food was tasty and everyone commented on how good the food was. Will cater from them again in the near future ❤️
Amazingly good quality, value, and flavor! Several delicious gluten-free and vegetarian options here, and the service is wonderful! We had the Saag paneer, Chana masala, crispy green chaat & mango Lassi. I would get them all again and want to try everything else too. See you soon!
The palette of flavors I tasted in one seat was absolutely insane. The curry was layer upon layer of deliciousness, and the dessert sampler was out of this world. Update 1: just tried the Habanero Mango Chiken Tikka and the Fish Tikka today. Both are delicious and more fulfilling than they seemed at first glance. My favorite was the Fish Tikka. I highly recommend the Mango Lassi drink and the Saffron & Rose Panna Cotta for dessert.
Rangeen was delicious and we will definitely be going back! Food was amazing, service was also SO wonderful. You HAVE to order the cauliflower appetizer.. one of the yummiest things I’ve ever eaten!
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouth. Definitely try the Gobhi Manchurian, Mango chicken tikka and Chocolate puffs with mango pudding!
Delicious!! Indi-Cali exceptional! We started with the Meatballs, Samosas and goat cheese tomato naan Crostini appetizer which was divine! Chicken tiki Marsala perfectly cooked and complimented with a lovely sauce. Followed with the chocolate puffs and mango sauce!! My new favorite local spot! ♥️
Truly a delicious and unique food experience! Rangeen has the freshest Indian food I've ever had, and with their Cali spin, it's never too heavy. My coworkers and I are obsessed with them! In addition, we've had their catering, and their owner, Sukhi, provides great service and visionary food. COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE!!!
Rangeen did an awesome job catering a party of 150 people for us. The entire experience from start to finish was seamless and very enjoyable! Sukhi's attention to detail stands out in every angle of the catering process: from creating a menu that balances classic and more modern Indian dishes, and the day-of presentation making everything look as good as it tasted. All of our guests (including several intense foodies) raved about how fresh, tasty and unique each of the items in our spread was. We highly recommend them as a restaurant and caterer and would love to work with them again!
Great place! Picked up to go, they were so friendly! Plenty of seating and had a great ambiance. Will eat in next time! Everything was perfectly done, good serving sizes and all the flavors were spot on! Definitely recommend!! We got the samosas, butter chicken, tikka masala, and naan. They even gave us extra naan! So kind. Definitely will be back!
We - a couple of friends & I - loved this is small, cozy place w/delicious & beautifully presented food. From the tasty cauliflower appetizer through the dessert, those yummy choco puffs w/ mango mousse. Jaime & Fidel took great care of us - thank you, gentlemen. Highly recommend.
I made a to-go order, commenting how good it smelled and how impressive their reviews were. The man working assured me that everything is made fresh and was very polite. As I waited, he gave me a small plate with a sample of my appetizer. I admired his cool confidence, because he was sure I would love it-- I did. In fact, I loved all of it. Great experience.
A nice twist on traditional Indian food. If you have never tried it before, this is a good starter. Food is made fresh, good flavors and great service. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
lovely sidewalk dining . the chef waited on us and we had such a pleasant foodie chat with him. there was life and love and kindness in the food and service. delicious fresh spice combinations. my new favorite indian dining
This has become our go to date night place or “I just don’t feel like making dinner” place. Best Indian food for miles, the chicken masala is on point and the rice is perfect. Our kids get all excited now when we say we’re getting Rangeen. It is a small place and service can get a little slow but worth it to support such a great place with delicious food.
One of the best Indian food in Orange County. Several unique yet authentic dishes that one can enjoy here. They also do catering from small to large events with a genuine awesomeness of food, quality, service, the way they present food is exceptional. You eat with your eyes first :)
It was a delightful and distinctive Indian culinary experience that the family thoroughly enjoyed. The dishes offered a refreshing twist on traditional Indian cuisine, which added to the fun. If you're seeking something different from the usual Indian fare, this should definitely be on your radar.
I Regularly order here and its always great. Friendly staff as well.
Great that finally there is such an Indian restaurant in Orange county. Got to know about this restaurant when they catered for a friend's birthday party. The food was really tasty. Love the idea that they make healthy Indian fusion food. The food is quite yummy, and at the same time, not oily or creamy. I tried the Benarsi Tomato Naan Crostini and it was great. I am sure I will visit this place more often in the future. Wishing them success!
Love eating this place whenever we are in the area. Everything we've tried so far has been good. The pineapple tawa rice and the raitas are really nice, and we like the twist they put on otherwise familiar dishes!
recently had the pleasure of dining at Rangeen, a hidden gem that seamlessly blends traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Rangeen is a testament to the chef's innovative approach to fusion cuisine. The diverse selection showcases a harmonious blend of traditional Indian spices and contemporary culinary techniques. Each dish is a masterpiece, carefully crafted to delight the senses.
A definite must try! Great food and easy to work with as they catered my wedding. Food was fresh and tasty. Great feedback from all my family and friends. Will for sure be going back to eat at the restaurant. Owners are very accommodating and will work with you to make your ideal menu for catering.
Stopped by Rangeen for a late lunch to give it a try as it is in the neighborhood shopping center. WOW. Started with Chicken Manchurian appetizer. Sweet and savory deliciousness. Added garlic Naan - yum. Followed with 2 orders Korma Chicken Curry - loved it and took home enough left overs for another meal! Never being an Indian food fan, we are now converts.
Amazing food. Very fresh and flavorful. You must try the cauliflower appetizer. Crispy cauliflower tossed in a sweet, spicy sauce with ginger, chili, bell peppers and garlic. Also had the lamb meatball curry. Amazing! The restaurant and kitchen are small, so next time we will order take out. They are very busy (hooray!) and will absolutely get your food to you as fast as they can. Owner and staff are wonderful.
Delicious Indian food with a modern Californian presentation. Owner is lovely and knows what she’s doing with her recipes. I had the Fish Tikka kabob which came with a side of spiced-carrot slaw. My gal had the Lamb Kabob plated on top of a beet sauce. Fresh and Delicious. We’d come back. They have homemade desserts, some creative things we’d love to try next time. Thanks !
Delicious food. I come here almost everyday for the Pineapple Tawa Rice with Chicken. I have eaten a lot of Indian food, and Rangeen Kitchen is incredibly fulfilling without being heavy. Their Chicken Tikka Masala does not have too much cream like most places, they grill their chicken separate from their curries so the meat quality is delicious, tender and juicy. Each dish is made to order and tastes fresh and the presentation is beautiful. Their pricing is excellent as I can eat here almost every day without concern. I love this place and I enjoy the great staff and wonderful atmosphere every time I come here. I love Indian food, and Rangeen Kitchen has become my favorite spot to eat as I feel so good every time I eat here.
My husband and I went here on a Saturday night before going to the movies, and had a nice time. For sure strip mall and tiny, but thoughtful and delicious. I got the palak with lamb meatballs and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, and he got chicken korma and an 805 bottle. We shared garlic naan. I am mild, whereas he likes it spicy, and we were both happy!
One of the best Indian food experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a long, long time. The food is exceptionally good — authentic, fresh, unique and perfectly seasoned, made from scratch. You can taste the masala. The owner/host is gracious and very kind. Highly recommend.
What a great find! The decor is Indian surfer vibe, clean and fun. Our waiter was energetic and clearly proud of their food. My friend hates cilantro and made to cook hers without it. We had Chicken Tikka, which was moist and flavorful. Mixed veggies and Spinach which were equally good. Gobi Manuchurian was excellent! Super flavorful snd the right amount of heat. Our server was a young Indian lady who was so attentive, thoughtful and friendly. We'll definitely visit again.
The best Indian food we’ve ever had! Everything is fresh and flavorful! Delicious!!! The service was amazing too! We will be back on our next trip to CA!
We visited Rangeen a few weeks ago and loved the flavors, the freshness and the courteous service. The dishes were cooked in a light sauces that didn’t make feel like blobs later. It had a certain home cooked meal experience with the deliciousness and variety of a restaurant. We are back here today for lunch and already feel welcome and are enjoying the crispy fresh Gobi manchurian appetizer, light fresh and not blobby.
Fanatic service. This was our first trip with our infant. They were so accommodating with bringing on smaller portions / blander food. The food was good, Indian food with some twist
This is my favorite Indian restaurant! Everything is super flavorful and delicious, and the owners are the sweetest. My parents dine there so often that they know the owners now. I appreciate that they have dietary labels on the menu which makes it easy for me to order gluten-free. The complimentary lentil chip appetizer with dip is gluten-free and the perfect starter. My favorite appetizer is the Crispy Green Chaat. It consists of lightly battered kale and jalapeños and is topped with popped water lily seeds and some sauce. All the flavors and textures just work so well together and it's gluten-free too! The presentation of this dish is beautiful as well. I love the chana masala because it is gluten and dairy-free. You can really taste the spices and it's not too spicy (I'm sensitive to spice). It comes with rice too. I tried the chicken tikka masala but I'm lactose intolerant so that didn't sit well with my stomach even though it was super yummy. My mom loves the lamb meatballs dish. I've been meaning to try the drinks because they sound super refreshing. I highly recommend this family-owned local spot. This restaurant is now on my family's list of go-to spots when dining out.
Absolutely love the food Happy and the crew make at Rangeen! It's served very quickly and good portion sizes too. Highly highly recommend eating here!
Wife and I enjoyed a nice lunch. Everything we tried was excellent. We started with the Crispy Green Chaat. All the pieces alone are good but when you mix the jalapeños, yogurt, and greens, it’s great. I had the Tandoori Chicken Tikka. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was excellent. The wife had the Mango Habanero Chicken Tikka. It was a little sweet for my tasted but she enjoyed it. We'll be back again soon!
Tried take out and was very pleasantly surprised. I've been a fan of Indian cuisine for decades so very picky but loved the food!! Perfectly spiced , so flavorful! Will be my go to Indian from now on!
Food was so delicious. The service is super friendly. Loved the small innovations in traditional India dishes, lamb appetizer, hara-bhara kebab chat. The dessert platter was amazing. There are very few places where I love the garlic Naan, Rangeen kitchen is number 1 on that list.
Immediately when you walk in the door the aromatic fragrance awakens your salivary response. This little gem of a restaurant never disappoints. The food is delicious, presentation is gorgeous and the flavors are various and wonderful. It’s definitely a don’t miss when we are in the area. There are also plenty of GF, nut free and Vegan friendly dishes to appeal to my various familles needs.
When you get here make sure to CHECK IN! the free drink that comes with that is AMAZING! "Marigold passion fruit" TO DIE FOR! Refreshing and bold! We started with chicken manchurian then shared a habanero mango chicken tikka and a chicken tikka masala curry. I'll put it this way "fresh! Tasteful! Mouth watering!" Indian food I've had, served in a not so traditional fashion that makes your dining experience one of a kind. Will be a repeat customer for sure. Good job guys!
It was by luck that my friend and I found this hidden gem. Tucked away in the middle of a big shopping center, this small restaurant will draw you in. Its cozy decor, modern vibe provides the perfect setting for a quick, home made Indian meal. You can smell the delicious aroma seeping from the chef's kitchen, and the owner will greet you and make sure you feel at home. We ordered masala, curries, salads and their delicious butterfly pea flower tea. The entire meal was delicious, but our favorite was the warm, freshly made garlic naan!
Arrived curious and without any expectations. Very clean place and quirky deco, felt like a safe location. Menu choices were creative with some traditional items. I ’played it safe’ and ordered tikka masala, my wife ordered spinach dish. We got free papadum, wonderfully light and crispy with good taste. The dip that came with it was a great complement. Main courses were delightful. Not greasy or heavy as in some places but flavorful and well seasoned. Despite being rather full, we ordered the dessert sampler (in the picture). Glad we did. Original and once more flavorful. Service was friendly and prompt and owners stopped by to check in. Nice couple that honestly cared. Noticed other folks’ food looking equally good, will certainly return for more. I certainly recommend this place and hope to go back soon.
Thanks a bunch! The staff was super helpful, the food was delicious, and everyone loved the presentation. 💯 It was really excellent, and we totally enjoyed it. 👍 mazza aa gaya..
Rangeen literally means colourful in Hindi, and the menu is exactly that. The flavors feel authentically Indian, but also have a unique twist which feels refreshing to even someone like me who has had Indian food all my life. The preparations feel fresh, not greasy and feel light. Been 5+ years in the US and this is the best Indian food I have ever had. Highly recommend it. I specially loved the Gobi manchurian (or you can try the chicken manchurian), crispy green chaat and the naan crostini.
We loved the food so much that we had Rangeen Kitchen cater our wedding. The owners were wonderful to work with and the level of service was exceptional. We are so grateful!
Like the food and the presentation. Mix of traditional Indian flavors with modern presentation & salad servings. Lunch bowl was of good quantity but felt other appetizers were given I small portion. Very courteous staff, made an effort when I asked something that is not on the menu for my kid. Appreciate it.
Holy yum. The reviews don't lie. I'm a pescavegan new to the O.C. (fresh from LA), and was simply searching for lunch near my work when I stumbled across this gem...only to discover that Rangeen Kitchen is the kind of deliciousness worth driving a distance for. Friendly, efficient service in a cozy atmosphere sets the stage for a positive experience. But let's be real: scrumptiousness is the real star. I value food decadence over decor. Rangeen has it all. The hara bhara sandwich, which is vegan and includes French fries, delivers both flavor and fullness without that bloated feeling we all dread. Even the French fries were phenom-nom-nominal. Suggestion: Please add ketchup! Although the accompanying sauces work as dipping sauce, they were so good that I used the majority of them on my sandwich. I redeemed the free Marigold drink, which had a pleasant taste but was a bit too sweet for me. If you're a soda fan, this is perfect for you (and healthier too)! Add me to the countless foodie fans who are keen on Rangeen.
Wonderful food - awesome catering - and beautiful setup! All the guests were very happy and would hire again
This place has unique blend of Indian and California flavors. Mango Habanero chicken tikka was a unique experience. Never seen it at any other Indian restaurants. Both Pani puri and Crispy palak chat were delicious and ended up ordering a seconds as kids wanted more. The service was exceptional and food presentation was quite unique. See the dessert sampler photo.

This is a small store in a strip mall so I wasn't expecting much. Boy, what a surprise! The place is cute with a bright, fun mural on one wall, cool music playing, and an interesting menu. The food is delicious and there are some good vegetarian options. They have a robust take out business and they need to figure out better how to manage that and still get food to the in-store dinners more quickly. Still, the servers are ernest and nice and I will be back.
Service and presentation was great. Gobi Manchurian was super. Paneer tikka masala tasted like preservative based mixes were used but was ok. Naan was on point though. Soft and fresh. The portions on curries are on small side. Overall good !
I ordered what I thought was the butter chicken according to the waiter, but it's not the butter chicken we all have come to love. They were slices of grilled chicken on top of a thick spicy sauce, it wasn't creamy and the chicken weren't cubes of chicken breast like I was told. The buttery naan were a pleasant surprise though, made fresh to order and right in front of you. Service was excellent though and the restaurant was a simple layout.

Ordered a variety of vegetarian appetizers, mains, and desserts. The standout dish was, without a doubt, the Pineapple Tawa Rice, which surprised me as I do not typically like sweet components in savory dishes; however, I can see myself returning specifically to order this. The Chocolate Puffs with Mango Mousse was also a pleasant surprise. The other dishes we ordered were adequate, though a bit heaby-handed on the herbs, that made ir hard to appreciate the other flavors. I'd love to see a vegetarian version of the Mango Habanero Chicken Tikka offered at some point. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Cozy, no-frills restaurant in a large shopping center with ample parking.

First time we went with family to try this place. The prices are high and the portion are less for that prices. And Pani poori not good, egg wrap is very salty other dishes also not good at all. the mango lassi is too sweet. Customer service is not good at all. Not at all coming to this place again.
I asked if food was as halal because my in-laws strictly eat halal. The guy said yes really rudely and hung up before I can ask to book a table. Found out they don’t even serve halal. I just wish they were more professional and honest about it.
This is not authentic indian cuisine, chicken tika massala should be cubes of boneless chicken cooked with creamy sauce, they give you grilled chicken on top of a sauce that doesn't even taste like authentic indian food. I am disappointed. Lady was serving should be retired if she's tired to welcome people and all she cares about it tips . I mean you don't tip when you don't receive service and only take out ....
