Cosmic Ray's offers good quick-service food, especially burgers and chicken, in a convenient Magic Kingdom location. The animatronic alien, Sonny Eclipse, provides entertainment. Mobile ordering is recommended to avoid long waits.
Tip: Use the Disney app for mobile ordering to avoid long lines, especially during peak times.
While I didn’t initially intend on eating here, the strong rain outside prompted us to get shelter inside. I got myself a bacon cheeseburger with fries, and it was quite delicious. Food aside, I absolutely love the vibe inside. Not just the animatronic obviously, but the great service, and everyone having a great time. Please stop by the starlight cafe any chance you get.
If you’re exploring Tomorrowland and looking for a fast, satisfying, no-fuss meal that still hits the spot — Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café is the move. I stopped here for lunch and grabbed the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and honestly? It totally delivered what I needed after hours of walking, sweating, and living on churros. Atmosphere: First off, the theming is everything you’d expect from Disney — fun, quirky, and immersive. You step into a space-themed cafeteria, complete with retro-futuristic designs and glowing lights. But the real star (literally) is Sonny Eclipse, the animatronic alien lounge singer performing on the main stage. His cheesy jokes, jazzy tunes, and smooth alien crooning just give the whole place such a classic Disney vibe. It’s so fun and weird in the best way. The Food – Bacon Cheeseburger: I went with the standard bacon cheeseburger combo, and let me tell you: it hit the spot. The patty was juicy and fresh off the grill, with that flame-broiled flavor that you don’t always get in quick service spots. The bacon was crispy, not rubbery — a win — and the cheese was perfectly melted across the patty. Everything came on a warm, fluffy bun that held up well without getting soggy. It’s not gourmet, but it’s not trying to be. This is theme park food done right: hot, hearty, and exactly what you crave when you’ve been running on adrenaline and Mickey pretzels. The portion was generous, and it paired perfectly with the seasoned fries, which were golden, crispy, and well-salted. Service & Seating: Despite the lunchtime rush, the mobile order system kept things moving efficiently. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we found a seat easily in the massive dining area. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but I recommend sitting near Sonny Eclipse — he’s part of the charm. Extra Details: There’s a toppings bar (limited now compared to pre-2020 days, but still appreciated), and tons of drink options with free refills if you dine in. Bonus: you’re right next to the entrance of Tron and Space Mountain, so it’s super convenient to fuel up before your next thrill. Final Thoughts: Is this the best burger you’ll ever have in your life? No. But is it one of the most satisfying quick service meals in Magic Kingdom when you want something familiar and filling? Absolutely. Between the solid food, fun theming, and nostalgic alien lounge singer, Cosmic Ray’s has earned its spot as a Tomorrowland staple — and one of my go-to lunch spots in the park.
Cosmic Ray's is just a special place we'd always go when we visited Magic Kingdom. Sonny Eclipse was something we began to look forward to. The food is pretty good, no matter where you go...the food is good!! Burgers, chicken tenders, fries & Hot dogs, etc. I enjoyed seeing everything again. I hope it doesn't go away.
We stopped for a quick snack and ordered the truffle fries and a soda. I heard my order called but my tray also had chicken strips and fries. I told the cast member I didn't order those, figuring my order was switched with someone else's, and he said "Well they already came out of the kitchen, so enjoy!" The fries were fresh and not greasy, the chicken tenders were good. Overall decent food for the price.
Classic Disney Eatery. Service was great and efficient. My family and I ordered their impossible Patty Melt, and although it took long to prepare, I did not disappoint. Served with fries, the patty Melt tasted exactly like meat, i couldn’t even believe it was Pure Vegan/veg. It was delicious! After asking a cast member, they also have Halal meat available but it would take 2/3hours to prepare. The Impossible patty melt is a great option and is available with 15min!
good fast food is reasonable price, I would suggest order on mobile app because the wait time is so long for order in person. Limited sitting during lunch hours, but really chilling when it is hot outside. Spent around $20 for kids meal with drink and chicken strip with fries
This place is comfortable and has a vegetarian Falafel burger with fries. They have a topping bar for your lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc. When we went it was pretty crowded. The vegetarian burger was good and the french fries delicious as well. The falafel patty was a little hard on the outside but soft on the inside. I ordered a side of cheese nacho sauce and a side of cheese slices for my burger. I was a little disappointed that they no longer provide a discount for annual passholders, but nonetheless it was a great experience. They have plenty of seats inside under a roof and outside.
We ordered both and lunch dinner here on Sat, July 13, 2024 during our trip to Magic Kingdom. Had the third lb. Angus bacon cheeseburger. Their condiments of lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle were separate. You can grab as many sauces as you want from the serving station. Depending on the time you go the wait time can be a lot due to long queues. We didn’t want to eat at Cosmic Ray’s again for dinner but had no choice as other restaurants were full and required reservations. Sonny Eclipse — an animatronic alligator — can be seen playing on the lower half of the venue. Good vibes and tunes.
I'm giving this place 5 stars for offering a really delicious Greek salad amongst the burgers and fries. The salad is healthy and a decent size (but still leaves room for dessert later!), and reasonably priced. Thank you! Enjoy! Update: The Greek salad is off the menu, but the new ranch salad is very good, not quite as good as that Greek salad, but still a great option and still 5 stars for quick serve.
I've only been here once, but it was still pretty good. It was a little crowded, but the food was good and it came quickly.
Great place for a late night dinner at Magic Kingdom! It's one of the few places that stay open. We love their Mickey burger, comes with Mac and Cheese. It's also a very easy place to sit and relax during the day. We love it there. If you want something good and fast at Magic Kingdom, this is the place to go.
Pretty good for a fast food restaurant. And great for people like us trying to get the “most” out of their visit’s. Disney World Parks doesn’t offer free unlimited refill drinks like Universal Studio’s does. However you can get free refills for your drinks at this restaurant. Just go to the far right counter (next to the order directly desk) and they will let you refill the drink you bought there.
The food was great with excellent service from the staff and you can eat in comfortable while listening to music from a robot playing on a piano. You need to make reservations on the code provide on the sign as shown on the attach pictures. After I sent the order of food for 7 people it only took about 10 minutes to be given a purple signal with your order ready to pick up with the number to be lined up on when you go in.
We love this establishment! It is always a family favorite. So cheesy but awesome. It is a classic. The mobile ordering system has made the experience here 10000% better than before. you do not enter until your order is ready. Therefore, there are seats open for your party! No more people just sitting there to cool off! The food was good as always. Listen, it is fast food not fine dining. Do not expect high quality food just because you are at Disney. The cat tail was so weird looking for taste so GOOD!!!! Cannot wait to go back!!!
Cosmic Rays is our go to place for a meal when we’re at Magic Kingdom. We usually gravitate towards the right side of the park and begin in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and this is a central location to grab a bite when we want to sit inside the a/c. Their options are pretty basic but there will be something for everyone. Burgers, Chicken Tenders, Hotdogs, and Salads are mostly served here. There have self serve condiment stations so they have all the fixings you’ll need. We use mobile ordering, find a place to sit, and wait till they call us when the order is ready. The great thing about Cosmic Rays is that you can mobile order up until park closing- tonight that’s 11:00 so you can sit and eat while the crowds disperse at park closing.
I have been coming to this restaurant for the last few years and I have not been disappointed. It’s right near the tea cups, which of course is the scream central of all of Florida and Disney World. Anyways, Cosmic Ray, whoever that is because it’s not the robot dude at the front, but his food is good, I always come here for lunch at magic kingdom, and plan on coming back
I loved the taste. Generally dont get much tasty food in that setting. Food in other similar places is just an afterthought.
I had chicken strips, honey mustard, Mac & Cheese, and water. This place is as great as I remember it being 8 years ago when I was there. This is the best spot for lunch at Magic Kingdom and it’s not entirely pricey either. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, quick wait times. Highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to go back here again!
Cosmic Rays Cafe is a big sit down area, with options for any kind of diet. We frequent this place every visit to the Magic Kingdom. You can do a mobile order for this location, which we did. I wanted to get an inexpensive meal, so I got chicken strips. My sister got the Impossible Burger which had guacamole and cabbage slaw. Both came with a side of fries which were pretty generous for Disney food. Mobile order was simple to do, though I do wish we could have more customization options through the app, as my sister did not want the cabbage slaw. Overall, it was a good meal. The chicken strips were kind of cheap tasting though, I’m not sure I’ll get those again. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is nice, they have an animatronic alien that sings “live” music. Lots of seating.
We (me and my wife) ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries (+ parmesan option) and 1 soda. Total was 41 USD. Everything was pretty good, I highly recommend it!
We’ve always enjoyed eating at Cosmic Ray’s over the years. Good burgers, chicken sandwiches and fries. I like that they give you all the toppings on the side and they have a sauce bar with everything you can imagine. When you’re just looking for something simple and predictable, this is a great choice IMO.
Cosmic Ray’s is THE counter service spot at Magic Kingdom. The food is standard fast food, and it’s quality is very consistent. The drinks are a little funky, likely because of the Florida water, but it’s not that big an issue. Make note, it’s always super busy here, so be ready to put your elbows up to find a table.
For what it is, it's pretty darn good. It a grand multi-line cafeteria for lack of a better term. Restrooms were clean and definitely needed after a full morning of the Magic Kingdom. Located close to Tron and Space Mountain, this place is hard to beat. Go in prepared to pound some burgers and chicken fingers. Initially got our order wrong so they just let us keep the extra. With a family of 5 that's always a plus. Seating is first come, so we snagged a table/booth while we could while my wife started the order. Considering the capacity of this place, I was shocked at how quickly everything was ready. Four or so condiment and utensil stations with free drink refills. The volume of people seemed well controlled from what I could see. We'd eat here again for location and cost.
I came here one day with my sister and her family when they were in town visiting. It was a long day at MK, and we wanted some food, so we came here, to Cosmic Ray's. It's one of the busiest counter service restaurants in all of WDW, but in the chaos, it is actually very efficient. No real ambiance to speak of. I think there used to be a singing alien in the corner or something, but now it's just a building with seats. Which is fine. It does its job. Service was pretty ok, too. Friendly faces at the registers, friendly folks handing you your order, taking requests on asking for extra veggies trays. No issues with service at all. As for the good, I was surprised with how good it was. Of course it was overpriced, but it wasn't as overpriced as other spots on Disney property. I think way too many families of 4+ slide in and out of this place for the prices to be too high. I ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich (Crispy Chicken Breast, Pickle Slaw, and Spicy Aïoli on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries). Nice, soft bun. Large, crispy chicken patty. Shoestring fries with unlimited amounts of ketchup. I was pretty pleased. I also got to sample the Triple-B Burger (Angus Beef Patty with Bacon, Cheddar Spread, Crispy Onions, and Coca-Cola® Cherry-Barbecue Sauce on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries), one of their signature items, with an upgrade side of Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries (French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan). Wow! This burger was out of this world. A good, charred burger patty with bacon that was actually crisp and played a role in this burger. Gooey cheese, more crisp from the onions, and that sweet BBQ sauce that counteracts the heaviness from the rest of the burger. Delicious. Definitely recommend this. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Gonna make this one of my go-to places for when I come to MK.
If you need gluten free this is the place!! My wife cannot eat gluten and when they told me they had a separate gluten free kitchen I was sold for her. The chicken sandwich came disassembled and gave her no issues through the day! The fries were great as well. I had gluten filled chicken tenders and fries and it was good as well. Very fresh and seemed much more affordable than other locations in and around the park. Friend staff as well!
Highly recommend this place if you want to get good food and some nice background music. Just like many others shared the food is actually pretty good. Prices are not so high and they are very generous with their portions. Staff are always super friendly and helpful Anthony Hu went above and beyond to make our day extra special.
On a Monday night, an hour before closing, I visited this establishment. Nicole was my hostess/cashier, and she was fantastic. She was sweet, patient, and amusing. We approached the counter and our meals were ready within 5 minutes. We ordered four spicy chicken sandwiches, a 1/3 angus bacon-cheese burger, chicken tenders, and fries. For picky eaters, I do not recommend the special sauce included on the burgers and chicken sandwiches. Aside from that, it was filling, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We also tried several soft drinks, such as Sprite and orange Fanta, which were delicious. The blue and purple slushee we bought, on the other hand, was disappointing. Yeji, Martiza, Emily, and Giuseppe served us. They were all excellent and friendly, assisting us with our food, beverages, toppings, and leading us to the sauces and napkins. After a long day in the heat, the ambiance was cool, large, and comfortable for good conversation and unwinding.
Able to order on the phone. Delicious truffle burger. Lots of flavor. Lots of seating inside but decided to eat outside to watch the parade.
Able to order on the phone. Delicious truffle burger. Lots of flavor. Lots of seating inside but decided to eat outside to watch the parade.

Excellent service and food. It was my birthday and they gave me a dessert for the special day. Magical day and surprise. MNSSHP was wonderful and had so much fun.

The bacon cheese burger was cooked done and it came with all the condiments on the side. Everything was fresh too. The Greek salad with chicken strips we delish the girls said. As far as food went it was pretty decent overall. Everything seemed pticed below $15. Would I eat here again? Yes
Cosmic Ray's is a counter service restaurant, divided up in to 3 "bays" for ordering. It is standard burgers, chicken tenders, and sandwiches here. The best part is the toppings bar. Once you order and pickup your food, you can head over to the toppings bar to add all the extra onto your food. Toppings Bar features: lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, fried onions, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed onions, sriracha aioli, jalapenos, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and more. My favorite is the fried onions! So, not only can you customize yourburger, but you can add toppings to your fries too. Definitely makes the chicken tenders and fries better. I will say, this place is packed during peak times, and you may not be able to find a seat.
I wish I could give it 5 stars but because they only have 1 size drink with No refills I'm doing a 4 star. However, 2 cast members here went above and beyond for us. Thank you for that! They have a topping bar that has lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, onions, pickles and more. There is a place with music to listen to while you eat. This is a good place to eat. It is a little expensive but good portion for price. $$$
The food is alright, will get you full if you’re hungry. Lots of fries, and many sauce options to choose from! Cosmic ray (The guy who sings in the front) is great, the music is fun! Seating is not hard to come by, although if you’re not a fan of lots of people being in one place, it may not be for you. Overall a good place to eat.
We came here on new year’s eve and the lines were huge. It took about 40 minutes to get our food and there were barely any tables because of how full it was. On any other day we would’ve been fine but it was just cause it was a big event. For a theme park, the prices are okay (about $12 a piece for the food) and its great quality food so it was worth the wait.
The food here was decent but not as good as other locations on WDW property or what I've had here before. There is a large outdoor dining area with lots of tables. This is probably the largest quick-service location in the Magic Kingdom.
I've heard this place is one of the busiest restaurants in the country. I came in as soon as they open for the day. I decided to get the bacon cheese burger. It was Disney's typical burger. It tasted good but mine was luke warm at best. The staff couldn't have been any more friendly. You come here for Sunny as he sings songs and tells jokes. This is a great place to brings kids.
Only one of the 3 bays can you actually order food. You have to order on the disney app at the other two. Was kinda a pain in the butt. But the food was great alot of seating inside an outside.
Fast food burger place conveniently located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. It’s not great, it’s overpriced, but if you can find a seat inside it’s a great break from the heat or if you drink around the world at Epcot until closing, it’s two short monorails rides away and open until 11 pm. During the daytime hours, this place is always packed. Use mobile ordering!
Ordered through the app and they had my order ready in a few minutes. The restaurant is spacious and with plenty of tables. They have both inside and outside seating. On a cool day, you can seat outside and on a hot humid Dat, you can do it inside. The food is okay. It won't blow your taste buds. It's your basic theme park food offering.
Food: love the buffalo sauce chicken strips, the regular chicken strips, but the fries tasted a little starnge and the sprite tasted very metalic. Sevice: I don't know how to answer that one so I'm just gonna give it 5 Stars. Ambience: Very space themed and plus I love space themed stuff. So I would do something about the fries at Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe and also make the beverages taste less mettalic at...well everywhere at the park.
Good for a quick bite to eat, highly recommend the mobile ordering before you get there to save yourself some time. We enjoyed the amount of fries that came with each meal and their salads were surprisingly tasty. And be prepared to eat standing up or on a trash can unless you want to stalk people as they finish eating to snag a table.
The food was fairly average—not bad by any means, but nothing that truly stood out as exceptional. We decided to go all in and ordered most of the items on the menu to get a full experience. Each dish had decent flavor and was prepared well, but if you’re looking for something unforgettable, this might not be the place. That said, everything was enjoyable enough to finish, and there were a few items that were slightly better than others. What really made the visit worthwhile, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From quick refills to helpful recommendations, they made the entire dining experience smooth and pleasant. In short, while the food may not be the highlight, the excellent service definitely leaves a positive impression.
Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe is located inside Disneys Magic Kingdom. The main draw of the place is then animatronic alien named Sonny Eclipse. He has entertained guests for decades. It’s always fun to see him even if I think they need to give me more songs in his catalog. With that said the food here is absolutely dismal. We decided to try the burgers again. This time they are adding different sauces. This does not help the hard puck they call a burger. It’s completely awful. They were freshly made while we waited and they still tasted like they were sitting around for hours. The fries are awful too, that why I got the cuties (tangerines). Disney charged us 40 bucks for two burger combos and two drinks. The least the can do is make it edible. The fast food options for the most part were changed during Covid and has never been brought back up to the standards they had before it.
If you’re looking for the best place to eat at Magic Kingdom, head over to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, overlooking Tomorrowland and straight across the speedway car ride. This is a fantastic diner with good options for the entire family. We had an amazing Greek salad and the chicken tenders and fries were pretty decent. The chicken was actually good. We also had the fancy passion fruit tarts. It was delicious and the presentation was outstanding. I would score the service and atmosphere higher if they would’ve not taken so loooong with our order plus it was hard to find a table to sit. The atmosphere was ok, just not out of this world🚀 due to overcrowding but it is very affordable.😬🎅🏻🎄
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is one of the larger eateries in Magic Kingdom. There are three bays with several order ports in each and you can also easily order on the Disney App. They sell burgers, chicken strips, salads and wraps and the food is all good for fast food. The service is also pretty good and the lines move quickly.
Pretty good place to get some lunch when walking around in the Magic Kingdom. It’s nothing extraordinary, but they do have good food and a lot of options. I ordered the BBQ sandwich with fries and I enjoyed it. The line for the food was fairly long, but I suppose it’s not their fault considering it is a summer afternoon in Disney. Overall, if you’re looking for a good lunch in Disney and don’t mind waiting a bit for your food, you should have no problem here.

Typical quick service dining specializing in fried chicken and other options. There is quite a bit of seating here (both indoor and out) which make it a good spot to check out during busy periods. Cosmic Ray puts on a show indoors, but it can be pretty loud. All in all, just an okay dining experience in Magic Kingdom Park.
Maria, the cashier, needs to be retrained to be able to perform her job. She doesn't asks questions. She assumed my order was complete when I still had one more item to add. She got stressed out when I told her. She then got annoyed when I asked for a modification. I noticed that drinks are prefilled and they sit on the counter for a long time. Fountain soda is not great as is, but leave it sitting for minutes at a time it goes flat and watered down due to melting ice. The food is not free and quite pricey, therefore I expect better.
The lines moved pretty quickly, but it is a set menu. Overall the staff was very courteous and friendly and helpful with my needs. The food was really not that good, especially for the price you have to pay. I got the cheeseburger with fries and a coke. Well they make your drink and keep it behind the counter until your order is ready. I really don't care for watery pop. Then the cheeseburger was not hot and fresh as one would expect for the time from payment to pickup. I didn't get to eat it as 2 bites and I was done. It was tough, dry, and very gristle. Definitely won't be going back tomorrow or next year. Also I don't reccomend this facility to anyone.
I like coming here because of the toppings bar , this place can be chaotic at times and aggravating. In order to avoid it either go when they first open to beat the lunch rush or go after 2or3 ... the food is good . There are nice views here good place to have a snack and cool down. The building it self could use some TLC all the window were dirty and the a/c vents are in need of cleaning.
The online mobile order service is the way to go you don’t have to wait in line which is great and your food comes a lot faster than they suggest it comes out. The food however, I was not a fan. I got fries an tenders and the first tender I ate was awful my whole crust come off and had an odd texture. The fries were also not good. Would not pick this restaurant again.
Good, juicy burger. Went here on Thanksgiving Day so it was super crowded. Had to wait a while to get my food. Getting a table was like playing musical chairs. The fries were kind of cold and hard but they were getting them out by the truck loads. My sister got the turkey dinner and it was decent. The green beans were spongy. The turkey was moist. Mac pretty good Could use more cheese. Overall, not a terrible meal.
Probably wont come a second time. The food was okay, fries weren't crisp nor warm at all. I got the Mars burger and the powdered cheese dust on top didn't do anything to the flavor, just made it more messy, licking just the dust off of my fingers I tasted nothing. The burger patty and Mac and cheese in the burger were good. If you're looking for an okay American food joint you can get it here but that's about all I can say about it.
The lady who took our order was really nice! The service went pretty fast. Any empty tables were dirty & you had to clean for yourself, tables weren’t wiped down. The Disney Jr stage was quite, no shows yesterday. Plus all the food my husband, myself, & our 2 kids ordered had no flavor and was dry. A burger meal, a grilled chicken sandwich meal, and 2 kid’s chicken tender meals….nothing on the burger, dried out grilled chicken, fries without salt….not good all around! My kids even didn’t enjoy it…. Take your money somewhere else where you can smell “good” food coming from the restaurant outside, then it should taste great! We walked around the rest of the day paying attention to those type of restaurants and remembering the names for next time!….
For lunch while at Disney World we ate at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. They serve sandwiches, burgers, fries, chicken tenders and no refill drinks unless you pay extra for it. It was very crowded, and you can order online. I don’t recommend ordering online, it’s faster to wait in line and order from a live person.(speaking from experience from my niece online ordering) it was hard to find a table, but we lucked up and everyone found a table, just not near each other. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries, and they weren’t bad. Mahogany a young lady giving out Bday pins and first Disney visit pins was so nice. She gave me a bday pin, and it was nice getting bday wishes EVERY time someone saw my pin. Cosmic Ray’s is not cheap, but not as expensive as other places to eat at WDW. If you looking for a budget friendly place to eat check out Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.
Food was OK. However, one of us ordered a number 4, which is a patty melt, which would have caramelized onions on it. Three different times they brought out a plain hamburger on Texas toast. Finally, we ate it anyway just because everyone else’s food was getting cold and we wanted to eat together as a family. The manager gratefully return money for this mill and the drink.
Tried the plant-based patty melt — rather greasy with a crust that was a little too tough, but the Impossible patty and melty cheese hit the spot. The pickle slaw and sauce added great flavour. Not a fresh or healthy option by any means, but if you’re craving indulgent junk food, it does the job. That said, it was impossible to find a place to sit — both indoors and outdoors were packed at 1pm on a Wednesday in May, with plenty of people hanging around who weren’t even eating there, which didn’t exactly enhance the experience.
Just your average Disney dinner spot. Food was mediocre. Burger only had bacon and cheese on it, and chicken sandwich was just chicken. I was particularly hungry so I got an adult meal and a kids meal. Nothing special about either. Service took a while, about 30 minutes. Seating was crowded, but we found a spot. Prices were very high, 15 dollars for a burger and 8 dollars for the kids meal. French Fries were amazing, however.

Just fast food. Greasy sandwich. Very busy and service is average. Confusing, told allowed refill and then told no. Need to get it right the first time.

Normally we skip this as food isn't great. Both of us had the truffle French onion burger which I actually thought was good and on its own I'd give 4 stars. It's not as good as the French bistro …
Easy enough place to visit for American food (tenders, burgers etc) plenty of seating but there isn’t anything special about this place unfortunately. Shoutout to the animatronic entertainment thou…
Went here for something fast while at MK, it is just standard fast food. Had burger and fries, nothing special. Good value, soda's are expensive though.
Writing this review to remind myself to never eat here again because I keep forgetting. We went at 5pm and the place was packed. Not a single open table, I ended up standing and eating at the counter. The tables are so close together you can barely walk through them. It’s SO loud with all the noise just echoing. And the worst part is they use crappy water for their soda machine. I know Florida water sucks, I hate the taste of it, but most restaurants are able to filter it out or whatever so it tastes better, but they don’t do that here and even the coke tastes awful.
Several times now I get chicken beasts served undercooked. Sometimes I question if that is even real chicken.
If your after good food then this is not the place to go, burgers taste like rubber sludge would almost consider them more likely to be brought back up, the service however was fast using the mobile app but this could be down to the food just being slapped up and reheated, wouldent trust it with any white meat if that’s how they do the red. Atmosphere was ok the animatronic entertainer was good for a laugh.
This is a kid friendly dining location that was our go to spot many years ago when we had annual passes. So much has changed since then. The food is mediocre at best. My wife’s bacon cheeseburger had pathetic looking bacon and the sauce was just a small dab. The chicken tenders got a mixed review from our children, but it was unanimous that it fell well short of a popular chicken place we ate at for breakfast outside the park. Both my wife’s and my burgers were somewhat cold and tasted worse than any common fast food establishment. There really isn’t service here as you order on your mobile app and they just hand you the food when it’s ready. Some tables were cleaned. Others were not even though a staff member cleaning tables had just gone by. You also have to finish assembling your own burger if you want lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, etc. The cost for what you get is ridiculous. I expected to pay a little more to eat in the park. However, $85 for a family of five to eat mediocre burgers and chicken fingers is a joke. $4.79 for fountain drinks with no refills is also taking advantage of customers that have already paid high prices to enter the park. Disney was renowned for the quality of their food and service. They have cut corners here and it was a disappointment. Disney, you can do better.

Usually good, but it was horrible this time. The service was very very slow. The homburgs were lined up waiting for fries and since they sat there on a brioche bun for so long they tried to warm …
Went here today to grab a quick lunch with my girlfriend, who is a vegetarian. I ordered the French onion burger which was fine all things considered, however the real issue was with how they handled her order. She wanted the same as me, except with an impossible patty, which we knew they had as they have a patty melt that uses it, and no beef pot roast. Just to order this was an ordeal as the man taking her order couldn't figure out how to do it, which was no biggie, but the issue was no manager came over to help him, and when they did they blamed him for not getting them sooner, and didnt even help with the inquiry. He ended up figuring out a way to make it work however she ended up waiting over 20 minutes for food, and in between they gave her chicken with a plain patty melt, and offered that she just eat that instead, WHICH SHE OBVIOUSLY CANNOT DO. In the end she was able to get a burger with SOME of the toppings on the side but what a horrible experience this was. I expect better when we are paying for a premium experience. Do better Disney. They only offered her a water as consolation. Figure it out.
Waiting over 15 minutes for my gluten free bun burger. Everyone else that was with me and ordered minutes after me are almost done eating while I’m still standing around waiting for mine.
Hi, The ceiling leaks, the food is very cold, there's a leaking toilet in the bathroom. The bathroom isn't very clean. If you order salads, it takes a very long time. Maybe review the restaurant's priorities: quality, service, and cleanliness. We're at Disney...
There is no halal meals and the closest in type was Kosher so I ordered it. A hot dog and chicken streps with French fries. Other meals served looked amazing and delicious so I thought ours would be the same. I kid you not, the meals came in rapped just as frozen dinner. I was confused but decided to give it a try. In terms of taste I rate it 2/10. So sad. The streps were not crispy outside as other chicken streps served and were tough to bight. It’s was also undercooked. A strange combination that feels that this meal was microwaved and not a freshly made. I am so disappointed to have paid $45 for a meal that we only consumed the hotdog (which was a mini sandwich vs. the one served to others) and the French fries. Food and money went to waste.
Bought a $7 lemonade. Drank it. Asked for a refill. The future lead in the Villains musical working behind the counter yells “No refills!” I get that you’re making 💰 selling crappy lemonade in a paper cup with no refills….. How hard is it to be polite or at least throw some adjective in and make a complete sentence?
The epitome of mediocre theme park food. Offerings are boring/generic. Service was slow. No cool theming except for Ray himself, but seating near him is always crowded. This place feels like a giant cafeteria. Fries are cold. Food is stale like it's been sitting around for awhile. We come here every couple of months to see if the quality has improved but NOPE always trash. The cast members are at least friendly that's the only plus!
I will never eat at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe again. The food was honestly inedible. I ordered the chicken tenders, and they were hard and rubbery — the texture was so off it literally made me gag when I bit into one. Even my child wouldn’t eat them. My husband ordered the Truffle French Onion Burger. He is not picky at all and will eat almost anything, but he said it was the most disgusting thing he’s ever tasted. Another member of our party had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and said it was just as bad. For a quick-service location inside Magic Kingdom, we expected basic theme park food — but this was far below even that expectation. Very disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning.
Packed. Food is good but beware mobile ordering. I paid online and the order randomly paused. It took me making the whole line wait to talk to someone for them to push my order through and wait another 15 min ! A total of 50 minutes , I get they are busy but damn not even accommodate me for waiting 40 min past my window
I had a very disappointing experience. I placed my order through the mobile app, but upon arrival still had to wait an additional 20 minutes. We ordered two burgers—one gluten-free and one regular—and both buns tasted stale and old. Additionally, the hot chocolate was watered down. Overall, the quality and service did not meet expectations.
