Love this Dog Park. Today I went late in the afternoon, and it was so clean and had several fresh new tennis balls out! The large dog park is separated from the small dog park so my little dog doesn't become a snack. And the small one also has extra fencing so the smaller ones can't squeeze through the bars.
The newly designed dog park is much more comfortable than the old one and the dogs have more room to safely romp. Shaded spots for the owners and a circular pathway for those who want to walk around for exercise. Super nice people frequent this park!
One of the perks of LR Life. We have a 5 month old puppy and this place it is perfect for her. There is a large grass area for big pups and a smaller separate and fenced-off area for smaller pups. Frankly I do pay for it every month in my HOA dues, so ROI is being realized finally!!
Unfortunately it’s a private park. But a nice man let us in.

Great dog park in Ladera. I was a bit concerned with my one year old pup, but he quickly assimilated with a host of doggies and I met some great neighbors. Now we both look forward to the dog park.
Very well maintained, 2 sections for larger/smaller dogs. Water and area to shower dogs too. Only accessible to Ladera residents. Opens at 7am, closed Tuesdays until 3p.
Very nice local dog park. 2 separate areas for big and small dogs and each are good size. Dog owners are friendly too.
Took our puppy here for the first time and she loved it. The park is well kept and there's a huge grass area to run. They also have another area for smaller dogs. There's a couple shaded areas with benches to sit. Also, a drinking fountain for both dogs and humans. Great dog park.
Great place to take your pup in Ladera Ranch. We have a puppy so we took her to the small dog side and she had a great time with the other dogs there. Everyone was very considerate and picked up their dog's poop and was very good about watching their dogs and how they interact with the other ones at the park. Facilities are nice and there is even a dog washing station by the restrooms in case your pup gets a little muddy.
Other than the occasional Ladera Ranch over-protective puppy parent, this is by far the best dog park in south county. It's huge. It's kept up well. It's always stocked with tennis balls if you forget your own. Very proud of this dog park!
Clean, well kept, with a very large fenced in area, and a tall fence. You can only use this if you have a larmac card. There are restrooms and a warm water dog wash for residents as well. Easy to walk onto many trials from this dog park as well. Small parking lot is easy as well! Closed all day Tuesdays for maintenance.
I have looked for this park multiple times and could never find it because the location information is incorrect. Well, we finally found it today and I am happy to say it does exist. Its location is on the corner of O'neill and Cecil Pasture. You need your Ladera Ranch Membership card to enter. Park was decent size with two areas for dog play. Our pup had a great time.
Beautiful dog park. Only drawback is that is is private for residents only. Has nice trails around it.
This is a great neighborhood dog park with shade trees and benches. It is a nice place to be unless there is a dog sitter there with 5+ dogs there. They don’t seem to monitor them well.
The park its self is nice, all grass and well kept. It is a little on the small side and its usually empty, not so great if u want your dog to play and get tired :(
I gave it 2 stars because although it is a nice park only residents of the area have the code to get in. The dog owners at the park were also unfriendly as they would not help us and our 3 tiny pups get in to run but I get it , it's private and outsiders are not welcome so don't waste your time.
If I private they mean not all dogs can go there and you have to pay to use the facility, then I think it's complete total b*******. I don't recall the experience but I'm pretty sure I don't know any dogs that are members of a private club.
Small and cute park. . .BUT private access only for snooty Ladera Ranch residents? Didn't get to go inside, But there were way more dogs at the La Paws dog park in Mission Viejo for my dog to play with anyways. LA Paws is vastly superior....
The address is wrong #1 this address takes you to a neighborhood park that only resembles a dog park because of pole with disposable bags! Actual dog park is off O'Neil and Cecil Pasture road! PLUS you need Ladera Ranch membership card to access the gate! Ill bet you this park was built with public park tax dollars and should be open to the public! Hoping to take my pomeranian to meet some new doggy friends at a dog park close to saddleback college while my daughter is in a class! WASTE OF TIME! NOT RECOMMENDED think ill research public funds used to facilitate private parks! ...... We will see
