We enjoyed lunch at Finny’s Craft House on our trip to Laguna Beach. Great menu with a lot of options of appetizers, pizza, burgers, salads and more. We shared the an appetizer and chose the Carnitas Nachos which the waitress said was a popular item on the mPerfect amount for two to share. It was delicious and the cilantro crema sauce was my favorite part! Staff were attentive and friendly with good service. Nice, clean, fun atmosphere with open air covered and in restaurant seating. Within walking distance to the beach, wonderful shopping and galleries. Also pet friendly with staff offering water bowl for the furry patrons.

I had such a great experience at Finney's Crafthouse - Laguna Beach, and I have to give a special shoutout to the hostess. From the moment we walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. Even though it was busy, she handled everything with a calm, positive attitude and made us feel genuinely taken care of. She kept us updated on the wait time, made great conversation, and set the tone for a really enjoyable meal. First impressions matter, and she absolutely nailed it. Customer service like that makes all the difference.

Great food, especially for the price in Laguna. This Finneys location is particularly enjoyable, being one of the only 'watering holes' in Laguna, comprised of 30% locals every night. They have great bar tenders overall, however there is high turnover. You'll be lucky if Kelsie is at the bar to serve you. The group of locals that rack it up 6-7 days a week were extremely disappointed to learn that she is temporarily only working 1 day per week. She contributed greatly to building the community here and its unfortunate that I won't be seeing as many locals as a result.

Always past this spot when visiting Laguna Beach. Driving for over 5 hours I was craving for a burger. Bouncer was cool and a vibe so we knew it was going down inside. Juanita was busy but took time to let us know we can sit anywhere. Immediately after we sat down Juanita smiling and making sure the table was clean and even pulled chairs over so we can have the room we need. U wanted Don Julio repasado. Only had 1942. Lowkey wish they had other Don options and more tequila options in general, very limited. However ordered Casamigos with soda water and 2 splashes of pineapple juice. Both drinks was made to perfection. Typically my order is pretty straightforward but often get too much soda water or to little pineapple juice. This was just what I needed. Ordered Irishman burger, onion rings, and extra plate. Food came out and Juanita executed with burger and fries split. Food was great, atmosphere had great energy with smiles ,laughter and a live band. Even got graced with Santa. Definitely will be back.

Very good dining option in Laguna Beach. The score is not perfect because we were also interested in the opening hours (it promotes that it closes at 2 AM), but it was not so, because at 10 PM they asked us to close the account, a detail that played a little against it. Anyway, the food and the waitress service was very good, the beers at a good temperature and with interesting options. The Shepherds pie should not be missed.

Hennessey's has always been one of our favorite spots in Laguna Beach from when we used to live there. Now that we're in Vegas, we only get to visit once a year during spring break, but it’s still a must for us every time. The atmosphere is beautiful, just steps away from the beach, the service is always amazing, and the food is consistently delicious. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. We make it a tradition to stop by every year, and we always leave happy. On our last visit, our waitress was incredibly sweet and friendly—she even offered to take some great photos for us! It’s a fun, welcoming place, and we truly can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Very good, nice atmosphere and great service. Pretty good selection of beers on tap and lots of other options too. Restrooms are clean. Not too loud and not too quiet, while also having good location in regards to the beach. Good time had been had here and will be had here.

Great special’s especially for a tourist area. Buy one get one burgers on Tuesdays. See the happy hour menu. They also serve a great breakfast. Hennessey’s is actually a chain. I have been to the one in Carlsbad and Vegas. All excellent. Nothing fancy just a solid sports bar.

I love Hennessey's Tavern. I can see people who are walking down the street and sunset in the seats at patio. Servers are very kind, and food's are really tasty. I ate crispy calamari, onion rings, taco platter, and pretzel burger. Everything was good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The fish tacos were really a surprise, it felt like a very coordinated fusion & I recommend it!! Buffalo wings are just good as it is, it seems to be fried/baked, despite the good sauce it is a bit dry on the inside! I have to say i love their fries (or sm i just hungry?) ... Attentive server & great atmosphere <3 Their burger look really good but we didn't try it 😔

This was a great food. I also like bar. Music was awesome. We went to 4 different place and this one the was we really enjoyed. It is also very close to water. I got the second photo from the beach. It is a few minutes walking distance from the bar Our server was really friendly. He was checking us often and making sure we had a good time

"Where everybody knows your name" to anyone who ever watched "Cheers". We know what made the big difference in the place was the friendliness of the bartender. My visit to Hennessey's Laguna Beach yesterday while waiting for traffic to clear out was very nice, warm and a friendly, greatly due to the excellent bartender Scott. Food and beverages are always quality in any branch of Genesis and last night was not the exception. Keep up the good work!

We stopped here as the reviews were good and it was close to where we were when we were hungry. Parking is somewhat difficult as it's on the main road, but we did not have to wait to long to find somewhere. We were seated quickly and although it was Tuesday at 6pm, it was still kinda busy, although we did not have to wait at all to be seated. The menu is good, and did not have pages and pages of food, and they have a good selection, service was quick and the food came out fairly quickly too..prices are ok considering the location and the food was excellent.

Came here with work colleagues to have a team dinner. The location is great - and block away from the ocean. Parking was decent to find but I can imagine on the weekend it may be tricky/filled. The pizza was more of a flatbread but it was good! We had some apps that were really good (the tater tots)

Food wasn’t bad, the A5 Wagyu burger was underwhelming, however blue cheese burger and wings and Truffle fries were good Be careful you automatically get charged 3$ if you just touch the iPad Though it is written on it however we didn’t know that just by trying a silly tik tak tok game just twice for fun we were charged 3$ on the bill!!! It didn’t feel right at all!!

Food were not great but definitely okay. We ordered Nashville hot wings, Mahi Mahi taco, kids marinara sauce pasta and two cocktails. The wings have an bbq taste and are definitely not the authentic Nashville style, but taste okay. I did not try the taco and the pasta, no comment. I did had both cocktails and indeed love the guva margarita but was not so impressed by the passionfruit mojito, it does taste good but very subtle and I can barely taste the alcohol, more like having a non alcoholic drink. Both service and vibe were above average. Walls full of TVs, good for game day. Reasonable price. Total bill was $60ish with above mentioned food.

Put in our name for a table and they said 30 minutes wait. There were many tables open. We came back after 30 minutes and another hostess said it was no wait and we could be seated immediately. Very odd. Enjoyed the crispy rice tuna appetizer. Fairly small portions though for an American food place. Right by the beach.

Hennessy's Tavern in Laguna Beach is a place that will have you scratching your head and wondering if you accidentally stepped into a parallel dimension. It claims to be an Irish tavern, but don't be fooled! It's more like an excellent American tavern that got lost on its way to Dublin. The atmosphere is local and cozy, just like Norm from Cheers. You half expect people to shout your name as you walk in, but instead, you're greeted with slow service and a crowd that seems like they wandered in from Bizzaro world. It's a weird mix, but hey, that's part of the charm, right? Hennessy's is known for its awesome burger bar, and it does not disappoint. The patties are juicy, the toppings are plentiful, and the view of the ocean from the upstairs seating is a nice bonus. But here comes the plot twist: If you're a fan of corned beef sandwiches, prepare yourself for disappointment. What used to be a go-to item on the menu has taken a nosedive in quality. It's like they forgot how to make it, and now it's just a sad excuse for a sandwich. On the bright side, Krystal, one of the staff members, was an absolute gem. She was sweet, helpful, and made up for the slow service with her warm personality. She's the kind of person who would fit right in at Cheers, where everybody knows your name. The Guinness flows like a river, and it's so cold and delicious that you'll feel like you're sipping it straight from the Emerald Isle. So even if the Irish authenticity is lacking, at least they got the beer part right. Hennessy’s Tavern may not be the true Irish pub experience you were hoping for, but it's a quirky spot with good food, strange crowds, and a cold pint of Guinness. Just make sure to steer clear of the corned beef sandwich and embrace the weirdness of it all. And remember, even if they don't know your name, they'll still serve you a frosty brew.

Stick to Burgers here i ordered shepards pie and it was not very good. burgers looked much better ther french toast desert was very amazing. beer here on tap is always warm you can request to put in fridge to get colder or order bottles...Quick update i came back again for Moo-Cluck-Oink Burger & Fries i have to say pretty amazing great burger beer on draft was great. pretzel bites were perfect as well.

Quiet during the day but sounds like it’s a fun place at night with DJ upstairs. Good prices for being right by the beach. Service is good and quick. Bacon bleu Burger didn’t blow my mind and didn’t taste much bacon bits but it was good. The bun was fresh and delicious.

Nice environment, service was good. We ordered the waygu burger, was good. Fried egg rolls, nothing special, too oily. Tuna nachos was bland, a lot of pepper, a few pieces of tuna and splash of sauce, I did not like it. Tuna tacos was good.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but the experience was a huge letdown. The best way to describe it: beer portions for adults, food portions for kids — all at a pretty steep price. I ordered a burger that was around $15 and paid extra to have it loaded with additional lettuce. What showed up was the complete opposite. There were no extra toppings, no tomatoes at all, and barely any sauce. The burger itself was shockingly small — honestly closer to a kids’ burger than something meant for an adult meal. I ordered it medium rare, but with how tiny the patty was, I’m not even sure why they bother asking how you want it cooked. It came out medium and there was barely any beef to speak of in the first place. Sides are also extra (like a steakhouse), which might be fine if the portions matched the price. But the $5 basket of fries was just as underwhelming — another tiny portion that looked like it belonged on a kids’ menu. I rarely leave reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. By the time you factor in parking and the meal, this ended up being about a $60 outing — and I still came home hungry. Definitely not worth it.

I have been here before a couple of months ago, the food is great. karaoke night was awesome, everyone was friendly including the staff that night. I decided to go there tonight for some dinner mind you we are coming out from OC. Today was very different, me and my daughter came to eat, it was Trivia night. Everyone was having fun, I waited for the server for 15 minutes, its not the same server from last time. She walked by a couple of times and i tried to grab her attention but it’s like i was invisible we did not get acknowledged, i said to myself maybe she will come to us next. Another 5 minutes passed, a caucasian couple came and sat next to our table within a few minutes she came to serve them, completely ignoring us. Very unacceptable, don’t want to make it about race but we sure felt discriminated. An experience we’ll for sure remember if we ever consider coming back there again.
