I don't think I've ever met a Starbucks employee that wasn't nice. However, the good folks who are at this location are exceptionally nice and accommodating. Maybe working across the street from Main Beach in Laguna Beach has something to do with it. And what's truly amazing is there always seems to be a parking spot available in their tiny little parking lot. The Chicken and Quinoa bowl is very tasty and at $8+ a great choice when redeeming a reward!
Friendly, nice people. The front doors are a bit dirty but that might be just due to all the traffic as it's right off PCH. It can be tough to get a parking spot there, but once you do the coffee I ordered which is the brown sugar oat milk espresso was great!
Allana was perfect and we really appreciate allana's best service...😊
I came into this location for the first time, on a busy Sunday where there was a lot of customers where I literally acted like a robotic customer waiting for his drink, and returned today on a slow Thursday afternoon, and the associate Hannah not only greeted me with a smile, she remembered me by name. That not only made my day because I was having a rough day, but she capped it off with a great drink and was so professional. That is the type of customer service I want but didn't expect at all, and she went above and beyond by not only delivering my drink with a smile, she touched my soul by remembering my name when I wasn't anyone special that Sunday walking in. That simple act goes a long way, much deeper than these typed words or technology. It is a human experience and she was an expert at making her customer feel valued. She deserves not only a raise because she is exceptional, but employers be aware shes the real deal :) Thanks Hannah for making my day!
This is the only Starbucks I go to and I live in LA. I drive down to Laguna Beach about once a month and get an impossible breakfast sandwich and coffee and sit by the ocean. I ask for no cheese and I get no attitude about it. The people working there are friendly and seem happy. They're usually the same crew, which says a lot. Heck! I'd be happy too with that view out onto the Pacific from across the street.
Such a chill SB to have a cup before starting the day. I go in here, get a cup, say hi to friendly workers and regulars. It's a great way to start a full day of work. Plus they have a beach front view that is one of the best in the area. Cost? Some chill time and a cup a Joe. Bests, SB peeps. Respect, I know and see you work hard.
Great place. Taylor greets me by my name every morning, with a smile. She definitely has set the bar when it comes to customer service. She should be running a Starbucks I believe. Keep up the good work Laguna Beach Starbucks
Thank you Alana and Jackie for going above and beyond servicing our bike ride group! You are amazing!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Starbucks in Laguna Beach and was blown away by its exceptional customer service and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The cozy ambiance, coupled with the friendly demeanor of the team, made me feel right at home. The baristas were efficient and took the time to engage in pleasant conversation, creating a delightful and personal touch to my visit. Undoubtedly, this Starbucks location sets the standard for outstanding customer service and creates a welcoming environment that keeps me returning for more. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee experience in Laguna Beach!
Its cool place , our bike stop on saturday , coffee is starbucks coffee but allana is best… thank you so much Allana , you made our day good…
A really nice employee named Michael was busy doing his closing work about 10 minutes after the store closed. Me and my young daughter who desperately wanted a Pink Drink walked up…but the store was closed. I took a chance, and called the store to see if they would make one for her. Michael happily made Holly her Pink Drink, and brought it to the side door with a chocolate chip cookie too!! He didn’t let me pay for either item!! That’s awesome customer service. He made our Friday night!! Thank you Michael and Starbucks LB 💕 Debbie & Holly R.
We always stop here for the cycling stop and the service is excellent especially Allana.
I went to pick up my daughter at the beach with her friend. I park there to wait for them. So I got my favorite Frappuccino. And the guy who took my order was so nice and friendly.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service! I visit the Starbucks in Laguna Beach regularly, and I have to say — the manager, Laney, truly stands out. She’s always smiling and welcoming, no matter how busy it gets. I’m sure not every day is an easy one in a fast-paced store like this, but you’d never know it from her attitude. Her positivity sets the tone for the entire team and makes every visit a great start to my day. Thanks, Laney, for always going above and beyond!
They were so welcoming and attentive at this Starbucks- they noticed us looking for a specific type of Starbucks personal cup and the first employee who greeted us proceeded to look through their cupboarded inventory to make sure that they didn't have any that weren't put out yet. Unfortunately they didn't have the Orange County or Laguna Beach style we were looking for but we so appreciated the effort. The cashier was also especially diligent at preparing a kids cup of hot chocolate which was spillproof (it's like he knew what would happen with a loose lid) and even voided the first order to redo to make sure we got our personal cup discount. We lucked out with a parking spot too - all in all a great experience. The huge windows look right out onto PCH and the beach itself -great for people watching.
Really nice place to do work, free wifi and plenty of varied + comfortable seating. Able to see the ocean while doing work, really nice. Wasn’t that crowded for a Starbucks, there was always available seating when I was there for a few hours. Right in front of main beach and a stairway to the beach walk and conveniently located a short walk from the 89 OCTA bus stop.
Starbucks Laguna Beach on Pacific Coast Hiway. Clean well lit friendly and busy describe this location. My tea and croissant were wonderful. Package that with the beach view across the street and it’s a fun stop.
I always make a quick stop from Las Vegas on my way to Laguna and it's always super friendly and clean here. Also a young lady named Hailey really made my day with a nice little handwritten note on my coffee!!!
Excellent Service and Ambiance and staff were very Affectionate 🤗
Bumble and I loved this place Laguna is the ambiance, the view, the all

Great Starbucks on the beach. Friendly service and customers. We sit outside and enjoy our cofffee
I was here for training and a bit nervous, since I’m not from here. The staff is wonderful. Polite, welcoming, and informative. I met one young lady working the register on 01/27/25 and she was sooo calming. I recommend you stop by and just enjoy their spirit.
Allanah is one of the nicest people in Laguna Beach. Great customer service I know your whole team works r3ally hard to make sure Laguna is caffinated and you are all appreciated thank you 😊
I’ve never been treated better. Allana could not be any sweeter. Great vibe in the store. Thanks!
It was an amazing, you have coffee with ocean view, what more could you ask for. The bathroom was a little messy, and there was only one. Hey that's okay. I mean you're right off the beach, but, you win some and you lose some. I love Starbucks. The service was quick and my mocha was great, Thank You Starbucks would go back in a heart beat.

Beautiful location. Fantastic ocean view ... This is probably the Starbucks with the coolest view on earth. Same overrated too expensive sugarish drinks, but their simple black coffee is not too bad. Enjoy the view. A pity that the 8 parking spots are abused by "free parkers"

I got a mocha frappe. It was delicious. It's right across the street from downtown Laguna Beach. You can walk across the street and sit on a bench and enjoy the beautiful ocean. Lots of people walking around that day as the sun was out. I did not order any of their food.

Great place to get a coffee and next to the beach so you got a great view. People are nice but doesn’t have outlets if you wanted to chill or study there. Can get pretty pack during the summer, parking is extremely limited.
Well from corporate prospective, the staff from here are taking advantage of being Americans where they don’t really follow the chain service standards. As we all know Starbucks is a big American chain for coffee, snacks group gathering and solo chilled people as well. So if the staff from this location are being so rude with the customers including the (bossy) supervisor 👧 who takes her personal fraustration out due to a busy hour by the beach 🏖 My apionin they should get 40% deduction rate from thier payee Other than this Starbucks items r Starbucks items we can’t live without them 🤣🥳
Was just at this location and the barista Katrina exhibited some "profiling and judgemental" behavior. While running the beach, I came inside to get some protein (string cheese) and go back to exercise when I asked to use the restroom. Katrina was very rude and said, "You need to make a purchase first". I was shocked but told her I was planning on making a purchase, but need to use the restroom. She gave me the code and I subsequently bought my string cheese for my run. It just felt very assumptive on her part and the tone was impolite and somewhat elitists.

The employee Menica wouldn't give me a cup of water. Shame on Starbucks to charge so much for coffee and not give their customers a cup of water.
The Starbucks has a nice view of the beach. Drinks are so so. There is one drink which was not made correct, costed $8.50. The barista couldn't remake it as they ran out of oat milk. So the supervisor lady gave us two $4 cards to get another drink in the future in any Starbucks. But the cards were a scam, they didn't work when we tried a few days later in another Starbucks.
Short haired red head girl at counter needs a little brushing up on customer service!! When a customer kindly explains that their drink was made wrong ALL you gotta say is *I'm sorry let me remake that for you, not give attitude and say I'll have to remake that then with a sour face making the customer feel as if they did something wrong by asking for a drink made correctly that they ordered... If the customer was rude about it then I could understand the attitude, but when they are nice explaining no need for the ATTITUDE! I have been going here for years on and off, used to go everyday before work in the morning and the customer service was always super friendly then...
They were obviously having issues with equipment as orders were not being printed. That is not my issue. My issue was how nice the little manager was to an old guy when he was waiting for his coffee, and she rushed to get his. But I had been waiting longer than him, and when I stepped up to ask, she was quite rude to me. That is what upset me. Why was she rude to me? Because I asked where my drinks were? She was so nice to the old man. I'm old, too. Be nice to me. I guess I do not need to go there if I am going to be discriminated against for asking where my drinks were.
Worst Frappuccino that I ever had even after I added sweetener. They offered to make it again but I declined and wanted a refund but she said she doesn't know how to refund a tip on a credit card purchase. They were not rude but I left disappointed.
Busy store. Way understaffed. One guy doing most of the work but even he wasn't producing enough drinks. The whole time we waited, I kept noticing the one employee wiping his hair with his hand. So much so that I started counting how many times. As he was ready to hand me our last drink, I had counted a total of "50" times of him touching his hair. Never once did he ever wash his hands. At one point another customer who came in after us was asking about his order. He went ahead and made his order, which put the remainder of our order further back. He finally gave us our last drink. 32 minutes for 3 drinks. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! To top it off, my sons drink wasn't good. The employee that kept touching his hair was Mike. I believe he was the manager. COME ON STARBUCKS!!!
I’m a 35 year resident of LB, and have recently started using the Starbucks App to order ahead at this location. The three times I’ve used it my orders have taken inordinate amounts of time to fulfill. Today I ordered two pounds of whole been coffee, both bags espresso grind, one bag decaf Sumatra and the other regular Sumatra. I ordered the bags at 7 am and didn’t pick them up until 8:30am, 1.5 hours later, but neither bag had been ground. I didn’t have time to wait and said I would be back to n two hours. When. Arrive, the bags are both ready but one is larger than the other…huh?!? I’m not buying coffee at this location again,, a $30 order and they can’t get it right.

Recently, while I was traveling in Laguna Beach, the charging ports in my car stopped working. I had a power bank with me, but it was completely out of battery. Since my phone was nearly dead, I went into a Starbucks store and asked if I could charge my power bank for a couple of hours. IEnglish is not my first language, so I was doing my best to explain the situation to a woman at the counter. While I was speaking, a middle-aged Black man interrupted the conversation and started making repeated loud sounds like “ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, no, no, no, no,” saying that it was not their responsibility. While I completely understand that store policy may not allow charging personal devices, I was very surprised and disappointed by the tone and manner in which the message was delivered. Instead of calmly explaining the policy, the response felt dismissive and disrespectful. I have never experienced such a reaction when simply asking for help.
this experience was terrible. The workers were very hostile towards me and my friends and they were gossiping about us. I would not recommend going to the Starbucks.
Dear Starbucks Customer Service, I wanted to share an experience I had at one of your locations after a walk at Laguna. I visited the store intending to purchase tea, a pastry, and water. The line was quite long, so I asked an employee for the restroom code, explaining that I would be making a purchase but needed to use the restroom first. The response I received was surprisingly rude. The employee told me in a harsh tone that I had to buy something first. I explained again that I was planning to, but the line was long. He then gave me the code but added, “You can’t leave without buying something,” which felt accusatory and unwelcoming. As a regular Starbucks customer, I’ve always appreciated the atmosphere and service. This experience was disappointing and not what I expect from a brand I’ve supported for years. I don’t come to Starbucks for political or religious reasons—I come for quality and consistency, and I hope this feedback can help improve service at this location.
Made me feel super uncomfortable walking in. Paid for my breakfast but left before it was served because was not feeling welcome inside, with staff making wierd comments and laughing and giving my drink to another customer. I walked out and told them keep the 11$ and went to the Bagel shop where they are always nice and don't act rude to their customers.
