Wow! It’s officially a new fav! Laguna needed this super cool vibe sando shop… Open Mondays ! I’m so excited as a Laguna Lifer Local … Hahaa you can literally smell the deliciousness as you walk by. The fun part is it was Charlie’s Wigs FOREVER. What a witty and clever play on a local iconic spot . A short trip to one Laguna’s best beach coves as well . I ordered a grinder and my husband got a classic sub. I thought I was going to love mine with the extra flaky bread but it wasn’t warm (which is what I assumed it would be) and the cream cheese wasn’t the vibe. I tried my husband's and the oil, vinegar, mayo, and mustard combo was tastier. I’ll be back but I think I’ll get a classic sub versus the cream cheese/ grinder one!! All in all, these Sammie’s slap after hitting the beach.

This is my second time stopping by here on a road trip and I make sure when I go through this part of California to stop by! They have great size and quality for their prices! Also the crunch you get from each bite is just amazing you want to dig in more! Fills you up perfectly after a beach day or even before one!

My husband and I are visiting from out of town staying super close by. We saw this place on instagram and decided to try it and stay for trivia nite on Tuesday. We had so much fun and the sandwich was top tier!!! The manager was so personable as well!!! We came in last and we still got a prize. I was not expecting that. It really made my night. We left and are planning to go again today for another tasty sandwich. Cannot wait!!! They’re doing it right at wigz!!! Don’t sleep on this place! Back patio was so cute and comfy with a full bar. They offer a veterans discount as well

My boyfriend and I recently did a weekend getaway to Vegas and we’re so lucky we found this spot right by our hotel. Quality, tasty, sandos made with fresh ingredients. Super friendly staff. Pickles are top tier too! Grab it to go and have a little beach picnic.

BEST. SANDOS. EVER. It is about darn time LB got a gourmet sando shop…. And Wigz truly delivers. We had just gotten back from this crazy wedding out in the desert, and needed some sustenance. Wigz thoroughly met our cravings and expectations. 100/10 would absolutely recommend.

Finally made it to try out the highly anticipated Wigz. So impressed! My veggie sandwich was delicious, soft crunchy-topped bread, avocado, artichokes, hummus, sunflower seeds and more.Yum! Next time will try fun option to pick your own ingredients and bread. We sat out back on the perfectly shaded patio and ran into friends. (They raved about the Italian and grilled cheese sandwiches.) Heard they have an awesome happy hour 🍻 🤩 and will return soon to try it out. Parking, unlike most of town in summer, was a breeze. 😅 Follow the locals and enjoy! 😋 🥪 🥤

My wife and I had both the Turkey Bacon Avo on Dutch Crunch and the Spicy Tuna Melt on Sourdough and swapped halves. These sandwiches were both delicious and would have made perfect meals for the beach which is steps away. Served with a hearty pickle.

Excellent sandwiches right on PCH with a somewhat distant ocean view. They serve good beers, too. Good luck with parking, we took the OC Metro bus from HB.

I googled best sandwiches in Laguna Beach and this popped up. The cashier was friendly and patient with me as a first-timer. I ordered the Grinder with turkey & salami. This sandwich has fresh ingredients, different flavors & textures. The spicy cream cheese is a game changer. The crisp cucumbers replaced my need for chips. The bread was delicious, firm enough to hold the ingredients w/o getting soggy. Overall this is not your ordinary sandwich joint. Check them out!!!

I wish I would’ve take pictures before we dug into our lunch! My husband and I are visiting from out of town and Wigz was recommended to us by our hotel staff. I was craving a sandwich, but didn’t want just any ol’ run of the mill. I order the Turkey Bacon Avo sandwich and it did not disappoint. It seemed SO fresh. The bread was delicious, the avocado was perfect. It was just a very good sandwich. There really only seemed to be seating outdoors, so it was a little loud for visiting, but we were too busy eating!

Best sandwich I’ve ever had! We got the Denwich and it was the most perfect sandwich. Now I know how Joey felt in Friends. It was packed full of delicious ingredients and wrapped so well that nothing fell out to make it messy. Highly recommend if you’re in or around Laguna Beach!

My favorite spot to eat in Laguna by far. The sandwiches are really good. I’m working my way through the menu but some favorites I’ve picked out so far are the pesto grilled cheese (with turkey), the Sir Melvin, and the pastrami. The spicy tunas really good too. There’s too many good options to choose from. Great vibes too. The staff is nice, helpful, and you can tell the owner, Zac, really cares about the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere of his shop. The back patio is nice to hang out in and watch a game on the tv back there out of the sun, or sit out front to people watch and look out at the ocean. Great drink selection also, little bit of everything for anyone’s tastes. They’re dog friendly so I like to take my pup there and hang out in the back patio while enjoying my sandwich and a cold beverage. I will be a loyal patron for years to come. 10/10

I've been here several times. Sandwiches are great, but I dont feel like a valued customer when I go there. I suspect its because I'm not Caucasian. Shame.

Usually I don’t leave reviews but honestly this is ridiculous. I got here around 2:30 and didn’t even get to place my order till 3. Mind you there was only about 4 people ahead of me. I don’t know what system they got going on but they need to fix it. Dude in the dress that was taking orders (also had an attitude) would take one order and then wouldn’t take another order for the next 15 minutes and wouldn’t even acknowledge anyone else in line saying that he’ll be right with them. I’ve worked at a sandwich shop before so I know how busy it can get but this is honestly unacceptable.
