If you want to have some authentic Birria this is THE place to go. The restaurant started in the church’s kitchen and expanded the sitting area as they opened daily now. This place has the best quesabirria tacos with a crunchy outter taco and an inner soft taco that add to the texture as you bite into an amazingly seasoned meat, cheese and garnish. Because the tacos are crunchy it doesn’t get too soggy when you dip into the awesome consume. So good, do your self a favor and visit this humble establishment.

I hadn't had tacos with a consume before so I wasn't sure what to expect but wow was it good. The queso taco is very good with a bunch of cheese on the inside and almost fried tortillas. So good. I had the regular birria and chorizo for the queso one. Will definitely be back. Also it's in the back/courtyard of a church kinda by a daycare playground so it might be hard to find the driveway.

The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere has that welcoming, casual vibe. Hidden Gem for Delicious Tacos! I recently discovered a fantastic little spot, Tacos De Birria Estilo Guadalajara, tucked away inside the St. George Episcopal Church parking lot. My GPS initially had me confused, but a small, hidden sign in a planter confirmed I was in the right place. The tacos were absolutely delicious! I had the special, which included three Tacos de Birria with Consome. Each bite was a delightful reminder of how great this hidden gem truly is. The outdoor seating area is charming, with colorful papel picado banners and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of options, and the service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for authentic and incredibly tasty birria tacos, this is the place to go!

It is set up like a fast food restaurant where you order and pay at the front then go sit down. They have space heaters and semi-indoor seating. Birria is a beef that they cook for 7 hours, so it is supple and juice and savory. The birria tacos are delicious and the cheese birria tacos are kind of like a quesadilla and a taco mixed together.

This place is a total hidden gem. The birrias were made fresh to order and came out piping hot and still crispy but soaking in the birria sauce with generous portions. Line served with each birria and the consume accompanying them were just perfect. The staff was also friendly and patient with our inquiries. There was both indoor and outdoor seating with very bright and festive decor. 3 tacos birria with some for less than $15….and it looks like they have a taco Tuesday special for $3 per taco. We look forward to coming back and trying more….especially on a Tuesday!

Delicious 10 out of 10 experience. We had the blackened fish burrito, the birria burrito, and the steak and seafood burrito. All were super delicious and the ingredients fresh and high quality. In a competitive food environment they exceed all expectations and we will 100 percent be back.

This was a DoorDash order! Fast process from ordering to order ready for pick up. Order was well packed and accurate. I really enjoyed my burrito de carne asada, tortilla was nice and toasty, with excellent amount of meat and guacamole. Tasted fresh and flavorful.

Delicious tacos and burritos! The consomme was hearty in flavor and the birria queso tacos were very filling. Definitely a must try and make sure to dip whatever you eat in the consomme. Tip: for those who are vegetarian, there is a bean and cheese burrito option that isn't displayed on the kiosk and you must order through the cashier. Update: This place has just updated their seating arrangement and has expanded. The wall is no more. The torta is definitely a hefty choice and delicious. The birria makes for a great protein choice. The quesadilla is also delicious.

The tacos here are insanely good! We’ve been in the area forever and somehow never heard of this place—until someone recommended it to us right after a business meeting. We decided to check it out on the spot, and we’re so glad we did. We tried their asada, birria, pollo, and shrimp tacos—every single one was amazing. Great food and service. One of the best Taco de Birria I have had outside of Guadalajara. Highly recommend them. The price and portions are reasonable.

We arrived on a Saturday around 5:00 PM and experienced no wait time. The service provided was exceptionally friendly. Our order consisted of the queso birria tacos and a birria platter. The tacos were authentically sized, reflecting a true Mexican style, neither small nor excessively large. The meat portion was ample for both the tacos and the platter. The beans and rice possessed a distinct homemade flavor, contributing to an overall excellent taste experience.👌

The burritos are a good size so we normally share or take home half of it. Also, while you wait, order the Chips & Salsa, it's so light and crunchy that you might be asking for additional salsa cause they're so good.

My colleague and I stumbled across this place on a work trip once and the birria tacos are the best I've ever had. They are truly unbelievable! We come back to Orange County a few times a year and we always stop here at some point before we go home.

I'm hesitant writing this review because I feel like being selfish about this place. A friend from work told me about a secret taco place that serves the absolute best birria hands down. I had to see for myself why he was guarding the location of the "best birria" and let me tell you, it's life changing! If you love good food and have ever experienced the feeling of joy and complete satisfaction to the point of euphoria then you know what to do? Everything on the menu is absolutely fantastic but the star of this show is the birria tacos. If heaven had a taste it would taste like this!

This place is so hidden in this area that no way to know for just driving by... any way, the set up is like a "food" stand , walk up to the outdoors counter to order food then pick a table outdoors or somewhere inside a "place". A server will bring your order out to your table. We order a 3-tacos combo to go, carne asada/Birria/Chicken tacos. The taco shells came out somewhat were soggy and greasy, only one taco with semi-crispy so not sure if they are supposed either crispy or soggy. Tastewise was good but surprisingly the chicken was tastier than Birria one. Carne Asada was ok. The rice was ok but the refried bean was pretty good. Will come back and try others.

I had the Quesotaco special and wifey had a shrimp taco combo plate. My tacos were excellent, super meaty and packed with flavor and the consomme is amazing. Messy, but delicious. Wifey really enjoyed her shrimp taco as well although we both agreed the beans and rice were just okay. That said, the service was good and we look forward to trying something else next time.

Birria Burrito: dry, floppy, a huge mess. Would not recommend and was not the highlight of the meal. Guac: perfection, home made, just right and balanced Salsa: it was ok, tasted like roasted tomato juice Tamarind juice: super good, was bomb Chips: are not homemade, stale, saltless Consume: probably had the most flavor and was the yummiest Overall: the poor score is attributed to the mess the burrito was. Completely dissatisfied, my second half was quite literally a quesadilla. I would come back and try the tacos and rerate this.
