We stopped here along with other parents and kids after a soccer game. We ordered several pizzas and drinks. We were happy with the available toppings and especially the cauliflower crusts they offered. The cauliflower crust tasted just like regular crust! It was crispy and delicious.

Best deal in town? Hell yeah! Choose 2 (salad, half sub, pizza slice) for $6.95 OR choose 3 (one of each) for $8.95. I couldn't eat it all. Ate the good sized slice of their margherita and the pear & gorgonzola salad, took the turkey sub (6inch) home for lunch tomorrow.

It's very easy for us to go out there and talk negatively about the bad experience we might've have but when we have a good experience we normally just walk out happy and forget about it! I thought it would be appropriate for me to take a few minutes of my time and recognize the WONDERFUL experience I had today. I work at a local business in the same shopping center at Z-pizza and had a pleasure of briefly meeting Sherman when he was sitting at my desk not knowing it was my desk organizing his stuff. We introduced ourselves and he had a very pleasant attitude. I have had lunch at his place many times before and I definitely enjoyed the food but today I was very impressed that when I walked in he remembered me and greeted me with a smile. He was even kind enough to give me a free drink and a slice of pizza which was very generous of him. This great review isn't just because he gave me free food but because of how he was interacting with all of his clients and employees and how attentive he was to everyone. There are so many food places out there that have great food but what makes Sherman's spot so nice to go to is his excellent customer service along with excellent food. I definitely recommend this place to everyone…go enjoy a fresh yummy food and get great customer service at the same time! Thank you for making my lunch so enjoyable :) Bahareh

Great pizza & beer on tap. Ordering food was a bad experience due to the girl working the register. We decided to dine in & watched the rest of the staff just standing doing nothing for an hour. They were overstaffed with incompetent people. The only person who knew what to do was a kid from Brazil. We found this out after starting a conversation with him.

Pizza was good however it was missing flavor and cheese. Considering the price it should have been delicious. Staff, female tall older lady is rude. She will tell you to get out of her way! She is not customer service oriented.

We ordered 2 meatball sandwiches for lunch yesterday and were surprised when they were served. Both sandwiches were toasted, blackened around the edges and the meat was unrecognizable. But it was not meatballs and was tasteless. It was cut into chunks, served with melted cheese and very little sauce. Ever been too angry for a refund? My grandma loved Zpizza. My mom, I and two littles went to this location thinking that since grandma liked it, it would be good. We were disappointed. Ordering was a hassle. We ordered pizza slices, garlic bread, and pasta with the sauce on the side (because kids). Pizza slices were reheated and came out after 5 minutes and we were told that they'd bring the rest out. 20 minutes after ordering, we got our garlic bread because my mom went to check where our food was and tbe bread was just sitting on the counter getting cold. The staff seemed more interesting in being on their phones, talking to their friends who came in, or goofing off. Again, we were told that they'd bring our food to us. 10 minutes after that, we got our pasta. Two orders and over half was burnt or under cooked. Kids couldn't eat it. I couldn't eat it. I was offered a refund but at that point, I was done. With two hungry children to still feed because they couldn't eat the food, I wasn't going to wait around and deal with that. Save yourself the money and get a frozen pizza from the grocery store.

The coupon code never works online.( It has never !) We did walk in. The kid to take our order had no clue...long story short, did not honor the coupon, we walked. A one time 20% off denied costs them...weekly visit ...$60.00 average, you do the math. Needless to say, we will not recommend the place. There are other zpizza locations. We'd rather drive a bit but get treated right.

Been going to Zpizza in both Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel for well over a decade if not 2 and never had a bad pizza until today. The "Large pizza" was the size of most smalls at honest pizza places, it was beyond under cooked, soggy and poorly sliced. Called in to let them know and was told to put it in the oven. $23.00 for what ends up being an undersized, 2 topping, inedible, take and bake pizza is a disgrace. Zpizza, has always been pricey but the quality justified the price I guess now they are just overpriced to put it mildly. You have lost a very loyal customer and I will tell everyone I know to avoid at all cost. shame on you.

The pizza is amazing! But the service sucks! I called and asked to build my own pizza and they said they could only do large but on the menu it says they can do a small. I just wanted a perfect pizza that I created and the worker said I couldn’t get it so I ended up getting a small cheese pizza. I should have just asked to add whatever I wanted on it but I wasn’t thinking because of how mad I was. The pizza tasted awesome but the workers aren’t the best.

Based on these reviews, I’m not the only one… I’ve given Zpizza @ Ocean Ranch multiple chances, thinking each time that maybe it would be better. Unfortunately, it never is. The experience is consistently bad, and the food is honestly hard to eat. The pizza is dry, flavorless, and downright nasty. I keep hoping for improvement, but nothing ever changes. The front counter service only adds to the problem. The man at the register, who appears to be the manager, is consistently rude, dismissive, and demeaning. He has no people skills and should not be customer facing. I’ve encountered him on multiple visits, and he treats customers the same way every time. It seems like he hates his job. It sets an unpleasant tone before you even receive your food. To make matters worse, they do not offer fountain drinks, and their drink options overall leave a lot to be desired. What makes this especially disappointing is knowing how good Zpizza is supposed to be. Zpizza in the Crystal Cove Shopping Center is a completely different experience. The pizza there is made with fresh, organic, non-GMO ingredients and dough, and it truly shows in the taste. The crust is flavorful, light, and delicious, not dry or cardboard-like. Last time I was in there, I asked why the pizza is so different. They said that location is owned by the original franchise owner, and the quality, ingredients, and standards are different and consistently excellent. At this point, I can’t justify giving the Laguna Niguel location another chance. Between the consistently rude front counter experience, the limited drink options, and the clear difference in food quality and ingredients, I would strongly recommend skipping this location entirely.

He only refunded one slice because I “took a few bites.” Super rude. Skip this place — plenty of better pizza spots around.
