One time I called and they went ahead and made me a few sandwiches right before closing time. I've been back a few more times and have nothing bad to say. Keep up the good work!
Definitely better sandwich tomatoes since a previous trip. Pictured in #2 A complaint about a couple of customers ahead of me being kind of mean about pricing. Please read the menu about extras (or simply ask what the extra cost) before having them applied your sandwich. Extras are such as double meat, extra cheese, or avocado 🥑. The menu states these add to the total cost of the sandwich, even more if you're getting a foot-long. Previous visit; only big complaint I had was a usage of an unreasonably green tomatoe. It was white nearly to the seed rim and hard as a rock.. could not eat. Sandwich was fine aside from the tomatoe. Pictured in #1 the infamous not ripe tomatoe.
First time there.The service was great. Super nice people.The sandwich was delicious to! Definitely go if you feel like a healthy sandwich. It's beautiful up here once you get out of town! Remember the wildlife isn't here to clean up after you. So if you pack it in pack it out. Thank you Cheryl Knox

Had ordered a veggie delight, and it exceeded my expectations. Ruby was friendly, professional, and made a flawless sandwich (as she always has). She needs a pay raise for sure. Thank you, Ruby, for providing such excellent service!
Blake is the MAN! I visited this store on my first night in town and Blake was super happy to tell me all of the areas to visit. He was easy to talk to and his sandwich making skills made this old dude very happy. He’s a master for the Subway brand. I will absolutely be back. It’s nice little touches like him remembering my name and even what I ordered from on my previous visit. I would say “give this man a raise!” But to be honest, he needs his own Franchise.
The staff was so nice helpful! Helped me find my debit card when I misplaced it. Really appreciated his genuine kindness and help !
We'll say one of my wife and i's favorite place to eat especially when you double up on the meat. Their quality is really good I love those buns, not as much as my wife's but I've never tried hers with cheese on it like they do with the buns at Subway 😳.

The staff is super friendly -at least those that arent related to the owner. The son works there from time to time and he has the worst atittude ever. He acts like a spoiled brat. Probably because he is one. The food there is not made well and thats probably because as i hear around town - the owner likes to be cheap and tells the staff to add just the bare minimum when it comes to making sandwhiches!
I had a lovely lady help me the first time so I went back. However, the second time I was there, a different woman up seller me things in my sandwich without informing me it would be more. Then, the owner rang me up. (The owner is the only one to ring people up, and I know why.) He charged me for everything and more. He over charged me, and then before I paid I asked him what my sandwich was (without the cookie) and he couldn't tell me. Then I asked again to tell me why it was so much, and he reluctantly told me how he charged me double for meat and cheese... unbelieveable. After I paid, he did not offer me a recipet. (Both times I was there he did not offer.) I asked for my receipt, and he gave me the one that only shows the total. I asked for the itemized recipes and he scoffed. The whole situation was ridiculous. I don't except much from a Subway, but maybe make it clear about my payment. I would not recommend this place.. if you are hiking the PCT like I was, you're better off walking farther to pay much less for much more!
We bought 2 foot long subs and two drinks. The bill was $29! We were shocked. Subway ads continue to run for "two $5 footlongs" and " buy two footlongs, get one free." I asked about those promotions and was told "that was last month." Is the owner choosing not to honor national promotions? We won't be eating there again. I'll go to Cheryl's for a better meal for less money
If you want a real Subway sandwich go to Wofford Heights location. They put the proper amount of meat & cheese on their sandwiches. Not so at Lake Isabella location. The owner/manager always scimps on meat & cheese. I have always been disappointed here except when corporate auditor is in house. Then the sandwiches are great! Too bad greed has taken over this business. I've spoken to corporate and he does put the correct number of slices on sandwiches, so there's not much they can do. I've tried to explain how he cuts the meat in less than half but they just don't either get it or care. So for me, I'll just keep on driving to Wofford Heights.
Management is high strung and tense. This is definently not a friendly atmosphere. Portions are very poor for the pricing, especially in comparison to other subways. The employee almost acted scared to give me the extra banana peppers I wanted, with the manger/boss standing over..
Go somewhere else, staff is very rude and will try to up charge you on anything. I've been to a lot of subways and this was one of the worst.
Repeatedly gone there, placed mobile orders and the sandwiches have been made wrong everytime. This last time it's almost as if they didn't even read the receipt. Not only was my sandwiches missing items I specifically requested more of, but on our second sandwich they didn't even put the correct meat on it. It was a waste.
Rude and disrespectful, I ordered 3 sandwiches through the mobile app,the girl who prepared our order made our sandwiches terribly. My sandwich was the most unappetizing meal; I have had from any subway location. She fid more staring at my daughters and I than making the sandwiches. We all went to the restroom bought drinks, we came back the food still wasn’t ready. Their hand sanitizer machine wasn’t working after her having me sign for my order. I asked for hand sanitizer from them she was sarcastic and condescending stating she didn’t know the machine was there. (The machine at the only entrance of the store) Then stated did you want hand sanitizer. Not to mention she seemed argumentative with the manager , questioning her when she instructed her to do something properly. I will never purchase food from this location EVER again, stop judging people by the color of their skin. Not to mention making people feel uncomfortable.Do better!

Very unsanitary the lady put ham on the uncleared bar instead of on a paper wrapper. Very rude as well. Wouldn’t recommend going there

There was a very sick employee handling food his nose was running and he was wiping his nose on his arm while making our sandwich, then he wiped his snotty nose on the palm of his hand then dipped his hand into the till and handed me the change. This was the one in Lake Isabella, Ca
