On the last night of our family trip in Lake Placid (group of 7), we decided on pizza and wings. After browsing the reviews of Bazzi Pizza, we ordered and we could not be more impressed. Not only did they get our very large and complicated order done perfectly, it showed up early, and our delivery driver was THE BEST! Thank you for contributing to our awesome family pizza/movie night to round out our time here in LP. 100% recommend!

Bazzi’s is the ideal spot for no-nonsense pizza in Lake Placid. They are consistently delicious and have a fantastic Italian-style pizza. It’s also a great spot for people watching if sitting outside.

After a long day of hiking, my wife and I got a large pizza with mushrooms. The thin crust pizza was delicious and not greasy. Of the eight pieces we brought three home in a box for lunch the next day at Cobble Lookout. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We visit Lake Placid one a year or at least try and we have gone to Bazzi's everything, great food always!!!

What a great little gem in a small, historic, expensive town. If you like real NY style pizza and food, for decent prices, this is your place. If I would have discovered it earlier in our stay, I would have eaten here multiple times. Friendly staff, great food. Highly recommend. You won't be impressed by decor, but it is clean and cozy. A definite stop, especially if you have kids that love cheese pizza (pizza is superb). They also have wings, calzones, pasta, soups, etc...

We ordered delivery (contactless) and it arrived faster than the estimated arrival time. They called us after to let us know they delivered it. We got a pepperoni pizza and the zucchini. If you prefer a floppier slice this is definitely the place for you. It was all delicious.

We were in town for the Can/AM hockey tournament and we're given lunch vouchers. Food was good, staff was fast and efficient. It is small and space is tight for people to move around though and it was loud.

Delicious little pizza place right on Main Street in the Village of Lake Placid! Plain cheese pizza was delicious with a perfect amount of cheese and very tasty sauce. The plain chicken wings were very good and came with tasty dipping sauce. The staff was friendly, greeting me when I came in, and it was a good value! Nice seating area with a number of tables and very clean. Definitely recommend!

Great customer service, friendly and attentive staff. We got a medium cheese pizza and a small Cesar salad which was enough to feed two small children and two adults. We weren't that hungry, if we were hungrier I would have ordered another medium or maybe a large pizza. Overall good place for pizza.

When we go hike nearby, we always stop at Bazzi's with the kids. NY Style pizza that hits the spot when you need a quick meal. You can take them to go and eat them while relaxing near Mirror Lake.

This is a small place, very conveniently located at the Main Street . Staff was very patient and courteous. French Fries were yum. Pizza was good. Pasta was okay. Stromboli was just meh. Much better than Ere’s Pizzeria though.

Bazzis is a small place in Lake Placid, NY. Has a real "pizza ria" type feel to it. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great. The only reason i would give this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars, is the limited parking. There are about 3 places reserved for customer parking, which are very close if you are lucky enough to get one. Otherwise, municipal paid parking is a must, with a short walk to the place. Otherwise, the food is worth the short walk.

The place wasn’t too bad. I love their pizza so much and they have good options of other things. Prices are decent, and I’m not sure if there is any indoor seating, I don’t remember. But there is nice outdoor seating but the inside of the restaurant is quite small. Good stuff tho!

We were on a budget and this was perfect. Had a large Hawaiian pizza ($22) and cheesy garlic bread ($8). You can get individual slices/calzones too. Sat down right away at 7:45 on a Sat. night, when other restaurants had 15-30 min. waits. Food came quickly, and we had choice to sit in or out. Only two servers, and they were working hard, but could have checked in and done refills on drinks. Not fancy, but good pizza for the price for sure!

We were in town for a ski trip to Whiteface and wanted to find a quick place to eat with a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) after hitting the slopes. We chose Bazzi's so that we had a good variety of eating options for the kids. We enjoyed the pizza, and the wings were definitely on point. Great selection of beers and Saranac sodas, which the kids loved! Bazzi's was such a hit, we returned the next night to try more items and order more wings. Highly recommended and will definitely be a repeat customer on our next trip.

Pizza are really tasty. I recommend to take a large one (17”) if you are a really gros gourmand. Otherwise 14” should work. Full of oil miam miam (see the picture) Don’t take the hotsub it is not worth it

I have been to Bazzi's a ton of times. It is my go-to dinner stop when I just need to feed the family. Pizza is well above average for the ADK. Prices are fair and you can't beat the location. I usually stop here after doing some sort of hike or ski day with my two teenage kids. Or if we are headed to the movies after. Dinner out in Lake Placid can get expensive fast and this is a great way to keep it cheaper.

As one of the first pizza shops you see as you enter the Lake placid Strip mall, it was pretty much the best pizza in the mall. But the sandwiches were the selling point for me. Very tasty and deserving of a solid 4.5⭐ and the service was decent enough. I would have given five stars but the pizza was on the greasy side and it was really inconvenient that there were no dressings given. Especially for a buffalo chicken pizza, no Blu cheese?! Wot?👋😂😂😂

With the offerings in the NYC/NJ area, I get pretty picky about pizza. Bazzi’s was convenient and not too busy on a weekday afternoon. Slices were a solid 7.2/10. Not the biggest selection of slices but enough to please most. Garlic knots were quite literally drenched in oil, which were still pretty good but messy as anything. Price for a quick bite for two people wasn’t horrible but wasn’t cheap either.

Nice restaurant conveniently located with good pricing and portions. My family of four came here just after reaching lake placid and were hungry. We ordered one cheese pizza and one spaghetti. The pizza was freshly made and tasty. The spaghetti was with sausage and was a bit chewy. All in all, quite a good experience and would definitly come back again.

Great crust, okay pizza. A bit greasy buffalo chicken pie. Chicken Caesar was good but was served without Parmesan cheese, one of the main ingredients of this type of salad. We each had a glass of wine and both were served in glasses that weren’t very clean. The price was reasonable and the portions were generous. The waiter was pleasant and attentive. Lots of people came in for take out while we were there so that seems to be a big piece of their business.

Pizza slices are pretty good, but mine could have use a little more time heating back up in the oven. Also had the lasagna special which seemed to take a long time, but I don't know what they had to put into it to get it together. When it arrived it was approx 1 million degrees. Once it cooled down it was good, but not outstanding. Essentially I went here because it was right next to the North Woods hotel where I was staying.

The service here was wonderful and the location couldn't be better but that's where the good stuff stops. The food was mediocre at best and the dish that I ordered was not what it was supposed to be. I'm a nice person so I didn't complain and I ate it anyway. The marinara sauce was good but overall I would say you get better independent pizzeria pizza closer to the pizza belt.

The pizza here is absolutely delicious. Dough is fluffy and fresh, just the right amount of tasty sauce and the cheese is perfect. Every time we come to Lake Placid, we cant leave without Bazzis pizza! Its 5 star in terms of food. However, the last time we went during our most recent trip, the service was awful. We waited at our table for the check and a box for 16 minutes after we were all done.. the worst part was that we were the absolute only table there and the female owner was just gabbing at a table next to us with another girl. They saw we were long since finished and continued to just sit there and talk until we went to the register and still even stood there with her chatting & laughing..it was quite awkward!

Stopped here for a large cheese pie to go. I waited 30 min for it & finally asked about how much longer it would be & she brings it right over. It had just been waiting on the top of the oven. Good thing I asked. The pizza was good but over priced for the size of the pie. From all the people I watched come & go, it seemed you could get a slice quick. There are probably better places to get pizza in Placid.

Ordered a chicken parm sandwich, I think I'm missing the other half, lol. I don't get it, put a little effort into your business, and do things right. This is what $14 gets you. The hospitality industry is going down fast...

I have the habit of tasting pizza in local stores. I ordered Calzone, Margarita pizza. Pizza taste is not so great but I liked the Calzone.

The Stromboli is reheated as well as the pizza. The poutine was ok. No real complaints but it feels very average.

Gone downhill since we were here last year. BBQ chicken ranch pizza was inedible. It appeared to have a can of chicken just dumped on the top. Crust was like cardboard. Waitress was pleasant but had communication difficulty so she couldn't answer questions about the menu. We will try again next year because it is a fun little place.

Food is overpriced and not great quality. I found the front staff not very helpful. Food took forever. I think they forgot our order. Sizing of pizzas also makes ordering difficult. There are better options in Lake Placid

We got 5 pizzas, 3 Stromboli, and an order of wings. Pizza was half made at best. 1 of the 5 wasn't even correct, ordered BBQ chicken, got some buffalo thing (assumption is they gave us a wrong pizza but we live 30 minutes away). Meat lovers was a weak handful of seemingly pork only toppings that covered the middle. Wings tasted like they were dunked in water after getting the sauce. Learned my lesson to check all the pizzas before driving home, also learned my lesson to get pizza elsewhere. Stromboli was the only reason for the 2 stars, it smacked.

The website doesn’t show accurate pictures or prices to what they are in the restaurant. The bread or “garlic knots” were dry and the texture of them seemed as if they were left out for days. Some of the food was alright, but it was truly just mediocre.

One of the worst pizza places I’ve ever been to in the ADK’s. Their pizza is pretty standard and the rest of their item are poor quality from my experience. I’ve once had a Stromboli with raw dough inside and was they accidentally charged my buddy’s split of the check twice. The food takes forever to come out and their delivery times are always much longer than they say online. I’m leaving this poor review mostly because I spent 50 dollars on delivery and got a white pizza and three drinks. After almost an hour They came with the pizza which was good but forgot the drinks so they had to come back and still forgot one of them. Which was a waste of time and money for the disappointing service.

Place was fine but the food was the most mid it could possibly be

The pizza slice was very good however, we ordered an antipasto salad. It fell short of our definition of an antposto salad. The tomatoes was way over ripe and we only got one meat and shredded mozzarella. Also the place needs a good cleaning. Maybe instead of being on their phones maybe a little cleaning.

I ordered 2 strombolis, in 2 different flavors. Both of them had, uncooked raw dough in them, which in the beginning I thought was malted cheese, but I was surprised to discover it wasn't. We are talking about big mounts like the entire inside part of the strombolis weren't cooked and both had a flavor of the raw dough. I asked to get a new one, and the worker was nice and said she would put it in the oven for more time. I was so happy to try it again, but unfortunately the same happened with the new one, just the outside was more crispy. The service was relativity nice! But this is probably the only good thing I can tell about this place. Didn't try the pizza.

When we looked on Google we saw this place said open until 10p. We got there about 9:30 and were told they were closed and we had to take our food outside in the rain and cold to eat. Meanwhile there was a couple sitting in there with an entire pizza. When we were handed our food, we weren’t given plastic utensils or napkins and when asked for utensils, the girl working was clearly bothered to have to do more work. There were no trash cans outside so I had to go back in to throw the trash away. I decided to ask what time the closed and mentioned it said 10p online. I got an attitude and the girl says, “Idk, it’s just kinda whenever each day.” Then when I walked back outside she stared at me through the window as I stood there to talk while others finished their food. It was a very strange vibe in there, almost like we walked in on something going on that wasn’t good. Tons of attitude and terrible service. The food was mediocre at best as well. 10/10 will not be going back.

My first pizza experience in New York state, and it was honestly the worst pizza I've ever had. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was dripping wet--looks like they'd dumped the bottom of a bag of frozen vegetables on top of it, including all the ice. Caesar salad was twelve dollars and had a grand total of three croutons in it. As for the restaurant--if you end up sitting near the door in winter, it doesn't automatically close and patrons coming in and out will leave it open. In terms of the temperature, it wasn't much different than eating outside.

I placed online order with delivery on pizzeria's website. I chose dishes based on photos and name on menu, because there is no food description on website. I ordered cheese calzones, chicken pizza and breaded mushrooms. When food arrived, I took the boxes, handed them to my husband and left on business. When I returned, I was horrified to find that delivered food was technically right, but looked completely different from pictures. My husband didn't know what it was supposed to look like, so he was extremely surprised why I ordered such a disgusting meal on our last night at Lake Placid. Cheese calzones is the only thing that looked like picture in menu. In the attached pics, you can see expectations/reality. Instead of mushrooms in cheese sauce on bread croutons, we were brought mushrooms in breaded, very oily and with a taste of bitterness from stale butter. Instead of pizza with vegetables, beans, cheese and chicken, as in the picture, we got a pizza with cheese and chicken, made very sloppy. I did not even taste pizza, my husband ate one piece, and he did not like it. Once again, there is no food description on the menu, no notes that the dishes do not correspond at all to what is in the pictures. I called the restaurant to leave a complaint as my last night of vacation was absolutely ruined. And after explaining the situation to manager, I heard a reproaches that I had to order food based on the name, and not on the picture. Moreover, he confirmed that the website does not have a description of the food or a warning that the food does not match what is displayed in the menu pictures. He said that I must to understand that I have to order only by name, I have to know what I order, even if there is no description of the food, and that I should not complain, because they are very busy, they do not have time to deal with the website and put there up-to-date information or truthful photos. After we argued for 5 minutes, and I heard that it was my own fault that I didn't know how their food look like I said they could come and take the pizza back and for two dishes out of three, I want a refund. The manager said that he would return the money for everything, we can keep the pizza. As a result, the evening was ruined, I threw away the pizza and the remains of other food, we went to dinner to another place, because I tasted only a couple of mushrooms and remained hungry, the mood was terrible after communicating with the manager, especially after his reproaches. It is very unpleasant to have such a negative experience on the last night of your vacation. I do not recommend ordering food delivery here, and I do not think that the food in the restaurant itself is better.

Well it’s 9:30 pm we called to place an order for pizza pick up and they said they are closed. When online it states open until 10. The lady didn’t even talk to us, literally said “We are closed” and then hung up. We just came in for a weekend at the bluebird hotel and was excited to try the pizza down the road.

As a Lake Placid local, I had only been here once to get a slice of pizze, today I placed a to-go order and I am sooo disappointed of the quality food! I ordered a calzone (burnt and crusty) and a lasagna (undercooked and small). Not recommending this place at all! There is wayyy better places in town, NEVER AGAIN!

Food isn’t bad. The service is the worst you can find. I asked the waiter for cold water she said they don’t have any ice. I later asked how much a cold bottle of water was. She said it was $2 i adviced her to get an ice machine as serving water without ice is not normal for any place. She said the machine was broken. She later came back to my table with ice water and said one of her peers heard they got ice from a neighboring place. #1 no local stores that sell ice. #2 how’d she not know they purchased ice? Finally, never lie to a customer, they can always tell. They wanted to sell their $2 bottle water and destroy the planet with plastic! If you hate customer service go here, if you want somewhat decent customer service go to a hot dog stand.

My husband's stromboli had gobs of raw dough, the ricotta on my white pizza was definitely old and not okay. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We were shocked to find good reviews for this place honestly.... Hoping no one else gets sick after eating here like we did.

The website claimed the white pizza as the most popular item. We ordered it and it was awful. This was the first pizza we have ever not finished. Also had the meatball sub which wasn’t bad but wasn’t particularly good either. Maybe the pizza was so disappointing that it made it seem like garbage too? Wouldn’t recommend.

We ordered two pizzas for dinner. We had been driving five hours to get to our hotel. We were so hungry and told this is the best pizza in town. Boy were we lead astray. It was soggy and hardly any toppings. The box would have been better. So disappointed.

Was charged a higher amount for a large pizza that was a lower price on the menu. After questioning the short lady that took the order, she refunded the overcharge without even apologizing for her mistake. The unappetizing taste of the pizza just added to this awful experience.

My partner had three slices of pepperoni pizza today and within an hour of eating, he had to run to the bathroom to throw up 5+ times. In fact, he is still in the bathroom as I’m typing this now. Stay away if you care about your stomach!

First off, overpriced. Could be the tourist price, not sure. Not impressed with portion size of the meat sauce (or taste) and pasta for the cost. Second, they need to learn what an antipasto salad is. DO NOT EXPECT A TRUE ANTIPASTO SALAD. Who calls a lettuce salad topped with large slices of tomato and swirls of salami, an antipasto salad?? That is not what was expected or wanted, for $16 at that.

Food gave me food poisoned was the only thing I had eaten yesterday also we did get plates that has some seasoning on it I should of told them that though maybe it was our pizza had gotten on it when she carried it but I think they dropped and they were low and gave me dirty paper plates also one pizza was 40 bucks and they were cut in squares with half them having no crust over all over prized for that

Great delivery, is the only nice thing I can say . It was quick and that’s it . Ordered bbq pizza and it had absolutely no taste at all . Also ordered blue cheese to dip and it was never put in my order but was changed for it . Couldn’t even dip the pizza to get a better taste

We were happy to find them as a late-night option, but they microwaved my calzone to re-heat it, did not use gloves, and my husband ended up in the hospital from food poisoning because they served pizza with chicken on it that had been sitting out an unsafe amount of time. It was a horrid way to end our honeymoon.

This was easily the worst pizza I’ve ever had — I genuinely feel unwell just thinking about it. The portions are absurdly oversized, and the large pizza could easily feed five people. The food was extremely overpriced and overall a complete waste of money. I would strongly advise against going here.
