My girlfriend and I enjoyed a nice quiet dinner together. we really liked the atmosphere,the food was delicious and the staff was on point. Definitely not my last visit .

Absolutely amazing!!! The new York strip was phenomenal. The funk from the mix of wet and dry aging was perfect. Absolutely perfect medium rare cook. Beautiful crust and melts in your mouth from how tender it was. Tried lamb for the first time and I could not have asked for a better kitchen to cook it. So tender and sweet with the sauce provided. Truffle fries were a perfect blend of earthy and buttery flavors that hit the spot and kept me going back for more. And the porkchop was shockingly tender and moist, and the tangerine they used onto was amazing. Was surprised to say the least with how well the flavors combined. Would Absolutely reccomend this to anyone wanting a true Steakhouse experience. And phenomenal food with even better service. The staff were very respectful and kind. Great smiles and absolute professionalism. Didn't judge me or my friend for the clothes we wore. Perfect Service, Phenomenal Food, and amazing Atmosphere

We had heard of Beelows from friends so we decided to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary there. The food and the service were fantastic. Our server treated us like royalty! Our only regret is that it took this long to give Beelows a try. Can't wait to return for each of our birthdays. We have since gone to Beelows several more times since post. The food and service are even better! Never thought they needed to get better but they did

Update 11/11/2025: came here for lunch not knowing they had a Veteran's Day special, so the place was jam packed. Our server was quick to explain our food would take longer and we understood. However, we were not checked on at all during our entire meal! Yes it was busy and our server was hustling but you'd think they would've hired extra people to handle the crowd. We had first ordered hot tea because we were cold. A bus boy brought cups with hot water and tea bags but by the time our tea brewed, it was cold. They need to serve the hot water in little tea kettles so the water stays hot. My mom had the beef dip sandwich and they forgot the side of au jus so she ate her sandwich too dry. Her sweet potato fries were also burned. My husband had the burrito bowl with shrimp. He said it was good but there were only 4 shrimp on it. For the price they charged, there definitely should've been 6 shrimp. I had their new smoked meatloaf and mashed potato dish and it was fantastic. I just wish it came with a serving of vegetables. A plate of white mashed potatoes with dark meat and gravy on top isn't too appealing. Some grilled asparagus and/or carrots on a diagonal near the corner of the plate would've gone a long way (visually and to complete the meal). We were never offered dessert at the end of our meal and it took at least 20 min to get our check after our dishes were cleared. Again, I'm not blaming our server. She was doing the best she could. This was Beelows fault for not hiring enough staff to cover a busy day. Wonderful food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. We chose to eat on the patio but walking through the restaurant, I could see how nice the layout and ambiance was. Nice selection of beer and wine. We shared the spinach artichoke appetizer (that was the only thing we weren't crazy about, because it was too thin and watery). I had the blackened chicken salad which was delish - chicken very tender and not too spicy. Husband had the surf and turf lunch special which for $28, was an 8 oz NY strip steak and 4 grilled shrimp, plus sweet potato fries. I had a bite of the steak and it was like butter - just melted in my mouth. Diana was our server and she was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She found out it was my husband's birthday and offered him a brownie a la mode for dessert. We were never rushed and were checked on several times throughout our meal. We will definitely be back!

Whenever we go to a new restaurant, we always have the questions: Is it good, will the service meet our demads, is it clean, and so on and so forth. Well, what I can say about this restaurant is that this is a gem tucked away from the city of Chicago. It is a great restaurant with great food and service. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a great selection of wines. Our serve Sue was very polite, very helpful, and very patient. My husband and I really enjoyed this place very much, we recommend this place and for sure we will go back again.

Has become a family favorite. Just adding more pics. Totally 5☆ Plus!! ---‐------------------------- Family chose as their choice to celebrate two Birthday dinners. Expected to order steak dinners. But, it was early afternoon, and we were disappointed to find out "dinner service" doesn't start until 3pm. It was ok. We all found substitute meals, and we were able to order Oysters on the Half Shell, even though they were not on the "lunch" menu. (Sorry, no pic, too excited to start eating them, but they came 12 to an order on an ice tray, with 2 sauces and lemon wedges. We ordered a second round!) Good atmosphere. Food was delicious. Service was meh, there were long breaks between visits to the table, not sure if she had a lot of other tables, may have been busier than it appeared. After entrees were brought out, she did not return to check on us. One of us needed addnl for our meal and it took a long time to get her attention to help us with that. We told the server we were celebrating two Birthdays. She wished them a Happy Birthday, but we paid for our two celebration Birthday Desserts. Not a big deal, but I see other reviews were comp'd a dessert.... Lol Overall, it was a great meal, the food was superb. We will probably return, and if we do, we may try to go later in the day so we can experience dinner.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was really pleasant—comfortable, inviting, and nicely put together. Our server was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a great find, suggested by my brother. Beautiful interior, indoor and outdoor seating. Impeccable service. 5stars The food was incredible. I had the London Broil in red wine sauce, medium with a side of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. 5stars One of my best meals EVER.

Stopped up here on our weekly man night run. Found it by Google recommend steak spots. Awesome atmosphere and great service. Sat at the bar with Vanessa and she was soo fun and really made the experience better. This place is farm to table with meats and all fresh seafood. Local beer options and top tier spirits available. Bar has a really cool water feature built in too. Food was quality and worth the price point. Oysters were huge and super fresh. Definitely filled up and had another meal to take home as the portions were massive. Next time I'm back up in that area I'll be stopping back. Be careful with the after meal mint machine. 1/8 turns only. Lol

We had an amazing dining experience at Beelow’s, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Ethan. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. He made us feel welcome right away and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. Ethan had great recommendations, knew the menu inside and out, and had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He checked in at all the right times without ever making us feel rushed. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. Thank you, Ethan, for making our meal so enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding steaks at reasonable prices. The high quality beef was cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed the bread basket my side salad and the shrimp appetizer. My counterparts at the dining table enjoyed the potstickers more than I did I thought they were a bit too sweet. The restaurant has its own unique charm and the service is outstanding.

Love this place! Great food, service and a wonderful atmosphere. Inside for a more fancy feel, or on their lovely enclosed patio bar! We loved the Juicy Lucy burger and onion soup. Denise was a very attentive helpful and welcoming server!

We sat "outside." It's a heated area flanked with two massive fireplaces. Very warm and beautiful. Honestly, I preferred to sit out there than inside the restaurant. It was a great change. The waitstaff was excellent and friendly. Our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection. Juice and delicious! Apps were delicious! Dessert was awesome too. Everything was delicious!

I love this place and the food. Appetizer i love is the oyster rockefeller. So yummy. Steak all the time is tender and so flavorful. I love the lamb chops so we order the flight to have variety of meats. IThey give you pretzel bread and corn bread before every meal and those are so good especially the corn bread. Service is superb. Everyone is nice.

First time dining here was this past July when I took my wife here to celebrate our 8th anniversary and was a pleasant experience. Great all around menu with some fine apps, entrée choices, sides, desserts and like most high end steakhouses; the cocktail list and especially the wine list reigns supreme. Venue has reasonably priced delicious food, a clean & sanitized dining area with a friendly staff and our server Anthony did well. Easily became one of my go-to steakhouses after only one visit, I'll gladly refer this place to other family, friends and co-workers as well as come back to support this wonderful local-owned business.

We visited for a birthday celebration dinner and my family loved it! There were plenty of options for the pescaterians in our group, but the steak-eaters were definitely the most delighted. My dad ordered the Farm Flight with an assortment of meats and sauces; the plating was beautiful, and he says he'd return just for the lamb alone. Everyone loved the cornbread muffins and appetizers like the pan-fried cheese and meat raffle beef. The calamari was unexpectedly tender, too. I had the parmesan-crusted halibut special over risotto, and both components were great. For a less-formal meal, the burgers at other tables looked delicious (and huge!). The only drawback was that service was a little slow — not the fault of our server, as he was keeping up with all of the other tables in the area too. I think they were a bit short-staffed. Still, he was charismatic and attentive any time he stopped by.

Went for a date night on a Tuesday. Very few people there. Waitress was really friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Absolutely perfect. I had the shrimp/guac/cucumber bites and chilean Seabass with pistachio crust. Loved the seabass, didn’t care for the carrot/zucchini accompaniment. Bland and crunchy. A root veggie mash and the cream sauce would have been awesome. I started with a spicy cranberry margarita which i LOVED. Sour and spicy and refreshing. He had the surf n turf and it was all cooked to perfection. Key lime pie was tart and delicious and carrot cake was moist with a nice cream cheese frosting. Would definitely return. We closed the restaurant down.

First time here, but have been wanting to come here for a while. As soon as walk up you can smell the mesquite woodfire grills. You start off with cornbread and pretzel rolls which are very good and then we got 2 appetizers which were okay. The first was the crab cakes which were very unique as had corn and red pepper in them on a red pepper sauce; personally would prefer just a traditional crab cake, but was still good. The second was the spinach artichoke dip which was good, but nothing that was super wow amazing. We got a kids meal for our 2 year old which was half a slab of ribs! He ate about half as can see in the pictures and all the food on his menu was very reasonable. Wife and I split the 20oz prime rib was was mouth watering and super tender and delicious. Probably the best prime rib I have had from a restaurant and can taste the mesquite in it. David S., our server was super friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us with a kid.I would highly recommend the place and will be back.

Had friends in from Texas and had dinner at Beelows. Everyone’s meal was delicious. The manager stopped over and talked with us and sent a delicious brownie ala mode for us. Waitress was wonderful.

My wife and I ate here for a special dinner and it was delightful. We both decided to order a non-steak dish, and were pleasantly surprised to see that the non-steak entrees were just as delicious and carefully prepared as the meat. Also our server was also excellent. Thank you!

The filet was cooked perfectly! The banana/chocolate cake had the perfect combination and the dark chocolate was so good even tho I don't like dark chocolate. The server, Jasiel, was top notch! It was nice and quiet at lunchtime so we had good conversations.

There were 3 of us. We started with the melted cheese and bread appetize, which was awesome. The mains were 2 Ribeye and a filet. All was great. One of the ribeyes had an added crust, which we decided was not necessary but the steaks were flavor full and cooked perfectly. Our Server Teddy was top notch, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

We are coming here very often, usually on Sundays for brunch. We love the place. Food is delicious, service welcoming and very nice. Always clean and ready for the guests.

Oh my goodness. This steakhouse is legit the best I've ever been to. I love me a good burger-and Beelow's hits a home run with the JUICY LUCY Burger. It's like a flavor party in your mouth! But seriously. You owe it to yourself to try Beelow Steak House. You can thank me later!

My wife and I went for lunch for are Wedding Anniversary. Ethan are server gave us great service and was prompt and courteous, he even thanked us for stopping in . I appreciate his positive attitude and professionalism. We have enjoyed the Sunday Brunch in the past , will definitely be back for lunch or supper in the future.

This was our first time coming to this restaurant, and I was truly blown away. I sincerely regret not asking for our server’s name, but the young gentleman who took care of us on 01/12/26 around 3:00 PM made our experience unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, gentle, and genuinely caring in a way you don’t come across often anymore. From the thoughtful recommendations to the easy, meaningful small talk, it was clear he truly cared about the people he was serving! He handled his tables with such grace and confidence, and his warmth made us feel completely welcomed, and he made us laugh so many different times! The food was wonderful, but his presence and attentiveness really made the entire experience. To the man who served us today: people like you are the reason guests come back. Your kindness did not go unnoticed, and it meant more than words can express. Thank you for such a beautiful experience, and we cannot wait to see you again!

I am impressed! I have not one complaint. But I have to also say, I have been looking FOR YEARS for a bearnaisse sauce as good as Vic Gianottis. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND IT! I can not express the joy it brought me last night when I tried it, going into it thinking it's just going to be another disappointment. VOILA!! perfection. But the steaks are so good, you don't need any sauces! I like the bearnaisse on grilled veggies. 🤤 my new favorite steak house BY FAR. I got the Filet trio. SO GOOD! And the cornbread? Delicious!!

I went with my grandson was a big eater and as big as me. We ordered the ribeye with mushrooms cooked onions baked potato and multiple pieces of their famous bread. The steak was 14 oz and I brought part of it home because the meal was so fulfilling. My grandson Who currently resides in Mead country and get slabs of the finest beef from his farmer friends said this was some of the best meat he has ever eaten. Make sure you get the oil base garlic sauce on the meat it was out of this world

We have been to Beelow’s four times now. Today was our first dinner, and the other three times have been lunch. We loved our dinner. I had the prime rib, and my wife had the scallops. Our drinks were amazing. My wife had a blackberry martini, and I had the maple old fashion. Our experience at lunch all three times were outstanding as well.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food, service, and overall experience was phenomenal. The ribeye steaks melted in your mouth. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. And the setting was very relaxing and peaceful. You definitely get what you payed for here. This was our first time here, and definitely won't be our last.

Great lunch menu! My steak wrap that I ordered with fruit was very delicious. My friend enjoyed the steak salad. Our server Gregg was awesome. The quantity quality and prices are very fair. Plus the restaurant was busy. That says a lot.

Service was great. Surf and turf was cooked to perfection. My date and I got there early and sat right away. Kristen was fantastic. It was busy but that didn't stop the 10/10 experience

Great food and very friendly service. We had prime rib and filet mignon and both were prepared perfectly and had amazing taste. The manager came by our table several times to make sure everything was alright and to talk. It was quiet enough you could actually hold a normal conversation. We can't wait to go back.

Staff was great and very attentive. Service was exceptional, Alex (busser/food runner) was so polite, we didn’t caught our server’s name but shot out to the tall blonde girl - you’re so sweet, thank you! Special thanks to the manager of the restaurant Peter, he approached to all the customers and made sure everything was well. Peter - hvala Vam! Food was delicious, portions are big and worth the price. Don’t miss the prime rib stake and desert! Thanks everyone, we’ll be back.

We were thoroughly impressed with the service. Anthony was our server and he was absolutely great! Wasn't too impressed with the baked French Onion soup. But the prime rib, rib eye and NY Strip steaks were definitely the highlight. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We made reservations New Years Eve for 8:30 p.m. arrived 10 mins before. The teenage girls at front chatting-1 greeted us. Told her about our reservation and that we’d sit at bar to be called. We waited till 8:45 p.m. and asked the same questions person: “How much longer?, We had 8:30 reservations and it’s 8:45…” They looked at each other-She began to grab something and ‘does not say a word to me’. So, I said “Am I following you?” She nodded. Took us to the Patio and practically threw the menus-walked away. I decided to move to the next table-I had a cold draft. While sitting for 2 mins. Another young host (long hair-highlights) shows up and tells us to move! So, we did (not happy) her argument is “that’s my table and I have my ppl” . Why does it matter, it’s the same table for 4! The ppl next to us were embarrassed and question this “TEENAGER’S” judgement! My point is: “Don’t hire girls that are just too young to provide customer service “First Impressions” They are rude- NO reasonable judgement ”! These 2 girls should be talked to…”We are regulars” So disappointed…! P.S. The rest of the staff amazing! Food was okay, they’ve done better. My stake had no flavor and burnt.

Service was okay. The decor and atmosphere was okay. They came out with a cornbread starter that was chewy in a gummy unappealing way. I had a standard cheeseburger that was pretty poor really. Didn't finish it. Really soggy, the beef and bun had no flavor. The sweet potato fries were soggy as well. Quite overpriced for what I received and the quality. I had the French onion soup as a starter and it was nice. The stock was home made and not too salty. Skipped the deserts. However someone I was dining with had an amusing ice cream sundae.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary during the lunch hours. The whole restaurant was beautifully decorated for halloween, including the heated outdoor area which is where we chose to dine. After 15 minutes I had to get up and alert the greeter that we had not been attended to to order drinks or food. Our server, Ethan, was amazing once assigned to our table. He was attentive and sweet. The food was not worth the price to us. My husband’s burger was not cooked to the temp he requested, and my steak burrito bowl was fine. The steak tasted kind of dry, not like the first time that I had ordered it from here. The sweet potato waffle fries and the dessert was good though. Ethan is a 5 star server, we only docked one point for service considering the wait time to be seen. Ethan was not originally assigned to us so no harm no foul, however after paying the bill and a generous tip for Ethan - we have decided we will not be coming back since the food and price didn’t make it a worthwhile trip for us.

Our family of 3 had reservations for 2p today to celebrate a family occasion. I messaged Beelow's via Open Table yesterday to confirm that the dinner menu was available at 2p. The reply was, "Yes it is!". We were seated and after requesting the dinner menu, the server immediately rattled off, "no prime rib, no baked potatoes, no sweet baked potatoes." We were taken aback because we came specifically for the Prime Rib. We were extremely disappointed but decided to stay and ordered 3 french onion soups, two orders of ribs and my husband opted to just order a burger. Another disappointment! Burger was ordered medium but was well done & dry ( why do servers ask how you want it cooked if all they deliver is well done?!), and although the ribs were of good quality they were drenched, and I mean soupy drenched, in bbq sauce. Ugh! After our food was delivered, the server disappeared and the young bus person never came back to clear the dirty dishes. We had to flag a different server for help to find our server and after another 10 minutes my husband ended up going to the hostess desk to try to pay. What is going on at Beelow's?! Was it because we arrived at 2p for dinner? I'm still struggling to understand why we couldn't order prime rib. Prime Rib is not cooked to order plus you were serving it during your brunch! All I can say is that we had a very poor dining experience today and I was truly embarrassed in front of our family member and guest. Most likely we will not be going back to Beelow's anytime soon.
