The Beef of Weck Rollups are simply amazing with all the same flavors as the Beef on Weck. Fish fry was a lot more than expected, perfectly cooked. The Chicken wings made my night! Display: The chef shows his commitment ❤️ in every dish. Simply put, this place is doing everything right 💯

It was our first time and we definitely will be returning. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and reasonably priced: 2 of us ordered Scallop dinners and Fisherman's soup (appetizer), 1 Fish Fry dinner; 1 Beef on Wick sandwich.

I've never had anything but great food here. From the cheeseburger to French dip to chicken wings to tge French onion soup to tge fish fry...always fantastic. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and attentive as well.

Whenever we travel to WNY, we always stop at Frank's for an open beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and their delicious gravy. Always tender. The patio is a great place to relax.

This was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time. The burger was cooked just right and melted in my mouth. We also had the cobbler which was the best dessert ever! I can't wait till we get to come back.

I tried their roast beef with French fries and gravy. The beef was okay but the gravy was very good. I would recommend getting half roast beef and half wings instead of just roast beef. It kinda starts being bland and portion is very big so you can get tired of eating it. The fries were good. The restaurant has a lot of room to host big groups but be sure to make a reservation!

A staple in our area (Lancaster), Frank's is a name synonymous with good food, cozy atmosphere and that neighborhood feel. We enjoy coming here, as it is consistent with quality ingredients at a reasonable price. We stopped in recently as part of their 39th anniversary (congratulations). Over the years Frank's has expanded. The once open air patio is now enclosed offering more seating year round. There is always plenty of staff and service is generally really good. This last visit wasn't what we have come to expect. Many of the more seasoned veterans who have been there for years are always smiling and cheerful. Some of the younger staff haven't acquired that same level of hospitality that we have come to expect, our waitress in particular. Overall its a solid choice and we will certainly return. Could have just been someone having a bad day...

The food was good. The service was also good. The issue came up that after we paid the bill we were finishing up our drinks the waitress came up to us and asked us to leave because they had a party waiting for our table . We left our unfinished drinks on the table and while we were putting on our jackets they cleared the table. When we were exiting I did notice two other empty tables. Reservation was for 6 at 5pm food came at 5:40 asked to leave at 6:15.

quality of roast beef was awful, fish fry had different taste than previously. Salads were of lesser quality than before. definitely went downhill from previous owner

Not one of my favorites I can probably count on two hands the number of times I’ve been to this place. After a couple years I thought I’d try it again so this past weekend we waited over 45 minutes for party of 4 in a small crowded bar to get a seat. The food was decent had a couple drinks when we finished, paid the bill the manager lady came over and asked if we could leave so they could flip the table for someone else. So this is not the first time this happened I remember a few years prior same thing happened. We maybe sat there 10 minutes after we finished and had to quickly finish our drinks and leave. I understand it’s a small place with limited tables but that is rude, this is the only place I know of that this has happened to us but apparently they do that to a lot of people by reading other reviews . Hopefully the new management coming in will have better business skills.

I would have given a different review rating until what happened at the end of our lunch. Recently, two of my friends and I went to Franks Grille for lunch. We had no wait time and the food was great. We each had separate checks. Upon reviewing our check we noticed that the price we were being charged for our meal was higher than what was stated on the menu. When we asked the server we got a “deal with it attitude”. “Prices fluctuate. We state on the menu that prices are subject to change (none of us had seen this notation on the menu). We can’t print new menus every month”. We told her we had never heard of this. She said “oh yes, all the restaurants are doing this.” and walked away. No apology or empathy at all – just “deal with it”. This was bothersome, especially the reply and attitude from the waitress. Upon further research this is what I discovered: New York Consumer Protection laws specifically General Business Law S 349 prohibit deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of business. Charging a different price than advertised on the menu, especially without warning, could be considered a deceptive practice. The menu generally constitutes the offer of the restaurant and by ordering from it, you are accepting that offer at the stated price. While some menus may include a disclaimer that prices are subject to change, this doesn’t automatically grant the restaurant the right to charge an unknown, higher price without informing the customer at the time of ordering. If prices have changed, the restaurant has a responsibility to inform customers before they order. This could be done through updated menus, stickers with new prices or verbal notification from the server. If you encounter a restaurant, that appears to be violating these rules by charging a different price than advertised without proper disclosure you can report it to the New York State Division of Consumer Protection.
