I only tried the breaded steak torta with green mole (the steak was very, very thin, and the mole was more like green salsa), and a hot dog (nothing special; the sausage was barely cooked and had more carrot than jalapeños). But I would only return to this place for the pork leg torta (the pork leg was excellent, not dry, and had a great flavor). Overall, the tortas are a good size and quite filling.

Come early because it may take a while to serve. They've had a makeover, and there's a new ordering system. They were once very famous, and they still are, but the seasoning has changed a bit. I've always liked visiting them when I have the chance; you just have to plan ahead and have a little patience. The prices are a bit high, to be honest, but the quality of the food is good, and the service isn't so much. I hope they improve in the future, as they were, are, and will continue to be an icon of Atlacomulco.

If the rating were based on the taste and quality of the food, it would get 5 stars. The place is well located, but the women who take orders and serve customers have absolutely no patience, and when you speak to them, they don't look you in the eye; it's as if they're ignoring you. There's no clear system for determining the order in which customers are served; sometimes they might skip your turn. Even so, it's always packed.

It's a real ordeal going to this place because you have to put up with a couple of ladies who always have a sour face and get furious when you ask for a torta...it's like they're going to give it to you for free...one day I went and one of them skipped my place and I said, "Hey, it's my turn..." and she replied, "What do you want me to do?" I told her, "You should provide good service, miss, excuse me," and I left and never went back. It's a shame because the tortas are very good...but that's how the staff is many times. Since it's not their business, they don't care about the service they provide...they ruin your day.

The place is nice, the service has several aspects that could be improved, especially when they prepare them in sync, since they add marinade and they don't have an extraction hood or a fan. When we arrived, they were preparing them and the spicy food caused all the customers to cough. This was very funny at first, but very unpleasant afterward, so much so that many people who were going to eat there ordered their food to go and left. Afterwards, it takes about 20 minutes for your food to arrive. The food isn't bad, but it doesn't justify the price.

My companion and I ordered Milanese sandwiches. They were some of the worst I've ever seen. They were very dark, black, thin, and oily. I don't understand how they could sell something so bad and with that appearance. I didn't stay silent; I told them my negative impression of their horrible Milanese sandwiches. To top it off, we ordered two hoya dogs, equally ugly. I won't go back…
