Eric did a fantastic job with service tonight. The food is delicious and we will definitely recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed the atmosphere and will return when we return to Las Vegas.

Such a great experience. We did the Snake River Farms curated experience. We tried foods we never would have ordered and they were great. Only complaint was the steaks were only warm. We overheard the table next to us say their scallops were great but not hot enough as well. The meat was so good it almost made me forget about the temperature but wish it was hotter.

This was one of the best meals I've had. The steaks were cooked to perfection, including my wife's well done steak. The food and drinks were exceptional and the service was top notch. The entire service staff was quick and friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. A great experience!

For our anniversary, we chose a return trip to Craftsteak, having been here years ago, and it was a delightful experience overall! Lovely calm ambiance, terrific service (a nod to Eddie and his team), and wonderful food. We chose the Wedge Salad as our starter. It is easily shared by two people. For mains, steak was our mission, and the Bone-in Ribeye and Filet Mignon were our two excellent choices. Both prepared and seasoned well, the Filet, though it arrived almost cold but still tasted fine. The potato puree was a perfect side dish, also shared. For dessert, we were treated to their popular Cinnamon Monkey Bread. It's truly something you must try! This is a top-tier steak house, so prices reflect that, but it's a solid choice for a fine dinner out.

Birthday dinner for my wife. We always try "new to us" Steakhouses. The service is excellent. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. They did a really good job of catering to our 11 year old daughter even though they don't have typical kids options. Will definitely go back again.

The wild arugula and heirloom tomatoes were absolutely delicious. All of the veggies were so fresh. The flavor of the wagyu tartare was so savory. The prosciutto was delicious it went well with the wild arugula. The New York strip was one of my favorites, very good seasoning. The braised beef short rib was absolutely divine. Fall apart good almost like a roast. The asparagus and potato puree was amazing as well.

One of the best experiences of my life. We were waited on by two gentlemen, both very knowledgeable and experts in their craft. They helped my wife and I with recommendations for food and drinks based on our preferences. Everything came out fast and hot. The food was beyond amazing! Perfectly pronounced flavors, exactly correct steak temps, exciting new takes on side dishes, and the dessert were to die for…I wish we had more time here, but we were running to a concert and just had a couple of perfect craft cocktails with our meal. All this in a gorgeous space that is luxuriously classy and understated at the same time. I was considering moving in! Definitely a must try whenever you get the chance in Vegas.

Holy… moly…. The shared family style meal with 3 different meats, tar tar, wedge salad, incredible mushrooms … Victor, Dan, and Marvin were superb guys. I’m telling you, this is not a PAID review. I turned 34 this weekend, my folks took me out, and this was the highlight dinner of my 6 day trip in vegas… we’ll be back!!

This is an absolute gem! It has that old Vegas feel with a modern touch. We did the chefs craft table which was amazing and is a really good bargain and turned the night into an amazing event.

The service was top notch. Don, Kerry and the other bartenders were wonderful. The drinks were one of a kind. The steaks were great and the dinner rolls are my new favorite. I had highly recommend.

We came to celebrate my elderly mom's birthday and the service was excellent. We were greeted by lovely gals up front and brought to our table and immediately Marvin, a sweet man maybe the head waiter took our drinks order and then sent another waiter to take our dinner order. The food came out quickly and was so delicious and sumptuous and flavorful we loved it. I got a steak that was cooked so perfectly it was covered in cooked garlic cloves. Mom had some and loved it to. She ordered a green circle chicken meal and we got two sides cheesy potato's called something like Allegot. My best friend got tuna tar tare, and wine, and her friend got a pasta dish. We also shared some broccoli. After we finished they brought mom a piece of cake and sang happy birthday with us. It was magical.

Had reservation to dine at Craftsteak. It was an overall great experience. Our waiter Francisco took great care of us. Got the Tomahawk steak, which was cooked perfectly! And the chef also gave us a complimentary sweet treat!

If you spend good money at any restaurant on the strip, trust me and make it this one. The atmosphere is great, you won't even remember you're close to a casino. The ambiance is lovely. The music is calm and at a great volume, the room has warm lighting, low but not dark. The ceilings are high. The seats are comfortable. The service is impeccable. I was impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff members. We never had to wait and ask for anything. Now... the food. WOW. We ordered the skirt steak and lamb rack. Both were delicious. If I had to choose between the two next time, I'd opt for the skirt steak because the flavors were so strong and divine. The lamb was also delicious and the flavors were amazing but less overwhelmingly so. The sides we got were the potato puree and the baby spinach. Both were quite plain, but served as great palate cleansers between bites. Next time I'd probably pick one, not both. I loved their version of the espresso martini, the "wake up call". I added a picture to this review, it's the drink with the grinch on it! Which was so fun and cute, perfect for the holiday season. It was a little on the sweet side but in a good way (I don't usually prefer sweet drinks). My partner has an old fashioned, he really enjoyed it and said it was on the strong side. We had pistachio ice cream for dessert and it was really refreshing and delicious as well.

The experience lived up to the expectations of a Colicchio restaurant. This may have been one of the best racks of lamb I've ever had. Though some dishes were simple, the quality of ingredients made all the difference.

We ordered the tomahawk medium with puree and the corn. It was absolutely delicious! Perfect steak, marbled and ridiculously tender. For dessert we had the monkey bread and it was so tasty! If I ever come back to Vegas I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Edward our server was also marvelous.

We had an incredible night here! The food was delicious and service was phenomenal. I forgot to take photos before digging in so sorry but it really was that good. For starters we had the heirloom tomatoes and warm frisée salad. Entrees and sides we had the scallops and the halibut as well as asparagus, potatoes, and cauliflower. All were delicious but especially the heirloom tomatoes, scallops and cauliflower! For dessert we had monkey bread and were surprised with the baked Alaska! I had mentioned I had never seen a flaming dessert so it was a fun and welcome surprise. If you go, see if you can sit in Kevin’s section. He is the most amazing waiter and truly made our night one of the best ones ever. He was so entertaining and kind and we will definitely be back to see him. Martin helped with clearing the plates and filling our water, which he never let get below half glass and was so fun to talk to and he gave me moral support at the end so that I was able to finish the final bites of my dessert. You will leave here full and satisfied but also so happy because you are truly treated like family and you won’t ever want to leave! Thank you for such a wonderful night!

Absolutely hands down terrific. I could not recommend this restaurant any more than what the dictionary's limits me to. As far as service, Kerry was oue bartender/server and was the best service I've ever received as I've ever had at any high end restaurant. Going for my 21st birthday celebration, he gave me an amazing and easy introduction to drinking and my specific style of drinking (being whiskey specifically old fashions). I even heard him asking a server how his previous customers enjoyed their meal just out of curiosity and was excited when they enjoyed their drinks and food and had a good experience. The skirt steak, the brussel sprouts, and the carrots are particularly my favorite dishes. The skirt steak was perfectly soft and seasoned while being cooked perfect as suggested by the previously mentioned Kerry. The brussel sprouts were amazingly soft but with a great crust on it. The carrots were beautifully soft with a subtle seasoning that doesn't overdo it but doesn't become overwhelming. Overall I had an absolutely amazing experience here in all aspects of classy environment, amazing service, and wonderful food! Pricey, but worth every penny

Ate at Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak at MGM Grand for dinner and then went to see David Copperfield’s magic show. The Snake River Farms American Wagyu was ridiculous and cooked to an absolute perfect medium rare. Other items included Nantes carrots, lobster bisque, potato puree, seasonal mushroom, a Caesar salad and a shrimp cocktail. All in all an amazing dinner that meets or exceeds on all expectations for a fine dining steak house. My only dung is that the restaurants location, in “The District” area of MGM is not clearly marked on any signage and getting here is a bit of an adventure on foot. Well worth it though.

Service is wonderful, friendly and very attentive. Atmosphere is nice. Cocktails and wine are incredible. Food was hit or miss. The Caesar salad was not great thumbs 👎, The Lobster bisque lacked flavor, The Duck was incredible, the bone in NY was perfectly cooked however was not as flavorful or as delicious as Gallaghers. Over all had a good experience. They even gave us an anniversary dessert. Total for 2 with tip was $385

Definitely glad that we had the opportunity for dinner here. The service was wonderful. The staff was attentive and helpful in making drinks, entrees, sides, and dessert orders. The portions were huge for our group of adults. I recommend trying the smoking barrels. The monkey bread was amazing. My Filet was cooked to perfection, and the MY strip was too. I would have liked to try some seafood but couldn't pass up the opportunity to have steak here.

By far the best steakhouse on the strip. Located inside MGM, it's a convenient location and great to grab a meal before a show. They have great meal options, buy the three course meal for two people and it feeds three full grown hungry adults no problem. Drinks were fantastic and so was the service. They had a good selection of dry aged steaks and wonderful sides paired with them! The starters were to die for and dessert was over the top!

Overall a great evening, start to finish. Definitely worth it and something you shouldn’t rush. We had the beef tartare and the tuna appetizer to start and was treated to some AMAZING fresh baked buns!!!! We had to ask for second as they were quite delicious and buttery. For dinner we order the Porterhouse with three side dishes and the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and enough for 4 hungry adults. We did not need a single thing more as we were stuffed… The service was immaculate, and the staff were extremely polite and of service. Truly, an amazing experience

Just so happens you’re at the MGM and you’re looking for steak. Here’s where you’d most likely end up. My entire meal consisted of Caesar salad, 16oz bone in NY Strip (medium rare) and Broccoli di ciccio. Everything was really good, but for sure all of it was too much for me. The Caesar salad had the option of adding anchovies which I did. It was really good especially with the Parmesan chips that it comes with. The NY strip was really good as they basted it with garlic and thyme (which wasn’t over powering). I could have been fine without the broccoli as I was overly stuffed. But going back between the two flavors was a really good balanced that complemented very well. This restaurant is very dimly lit and is pretty crowded. Suggestion would be for sure to get a reservation if possible, but I have been able to get in here as long as you’re not with too many people. If you’re really hungry and you’re ordering a steak, my suggestion is to get some type first course (appetizer) as you may be waiting a while for your steak to be cooked.

Fantastic place to enjoy a steak fare if price is not a concern. I made a reservation 2 days before. Checked in about 15 mins early and was seated after 5 mins. My server was Alexis who was very friendly and made great suggestions. I started with their warm frisée salad which was based on her recommendation. They actually mix the egg at the table in front of you which very unique. It is a special salad but you have to like egg, bacon and blue cheese. Wonderful concussion. I then had the 8oz filet with a half side of cauliflower and half side of broccolini. Fort was tender and cooked to my instructions and came in a small skillet. The cauliflower was on a bed or garlicky butter and very tasteful. Broccolini were well done with garlic and crushed red pepper. All in all 5 stars. Total bill before tip with a glass on wine and a bottle of San pellegrino was $176. Place was packed and buzzing for a Tuesday night but it is CES week.

The food here is absolutely amazing. We ordered the Seafood experience to start which was delicious, however the lobster and crab were completely average compared to the steak and Halibut. The rolls are the perfect blend of salty and sweet and taste very similar to a very good croissant. The lemon butter with capers sauce on the Halibut was divine. The dry aged steak was very very tender and cooked to perfection. Unbelievably delicious. We had the baked Alaskan desert that was very delicious and amazing. The wait staff were on point with the service. It speaks volume of the teamwork and professionalism to operate such a fine restaurant with the precision that this team does. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Thank you all so very much. I hope to return one day.

Had an awesome time and dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was perfect and the food we had was nothing like I have ever had. My steak was melt in your mouth and my wife's scallops were excellent. Highly recommended this to everyone!

What an amazing restaurant! We were waited by 3 staffs, the restaurant was busy but surprisingly quiet, which is a testament of thoughtful design and soundproofing. Vibrant but not noisy. We had the tomahawk steak and the scallops. The scallops were very good. The steak was fantastic. Ended with the key lime pie cocktail and baked Alaska. Both made a wonderful finish to a lovely dinner. Very expensive but worth it

In the District area of MGM Grand this expansive steakhouse is a real jewel. Service was very good without the pretentiousness that’s become the norm for Vegas fine dining restaurants. The menu is not extensive but the steaks are well represented and there is a good number of appetizers and sides that can cobble together meals for any dietary preferences. Decor is mid century modern with good lighting and noise level is tolerable even when the restaurant is mostly filled. We shared the heirloom tomatoes and a few sides along with the Halibut and filet mignon, both were perfect. Overall, this is one of the best steakhouses in Vegas and we recommend it highly, giving it five Google stars and a rare five clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale ( the only other five clam rating in Vegas is Mon Ami Gabi).

We walked in without a reservation on a busy Saturday night and were lucky to be seated right away. From start to finish, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient. We started with a half dozen oysters which was really fresh and tiny (not the big nasty ones). The Caesar salad was crisp and the anchovies were not too fishy, and the lobster bisque was rich and full of flavor. The highlight was the New York steak paired with mushrooms and cooked to absolute perfection and finished with fresh thyme. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We shared the prime dry aged ribeye, the pureed potatoes and onion rings. The ribeye was the best we've had, the potatoes were great and tbe onion rings were good. The service was excellent and it was nice and quiet as well.

We had the thanksgiving turkey dinner !it was beyond expectations. The turkey breasts were juicy . The stuffings were phenomenal. The craneberry sauce was slightly sweet and tangy complimented the turkey do well. We also ordered the fresh oyster which were sweet and fresh. It was so delectable. The rack of lamb was astonishingly juicy and tender. The side dishes were absolutely amazing. Every bites was phenomenal and tasty .

We had no trouble getting a last minute reservation for our party of 7. Our server team of Sarah, Dan, and Isaiah were phenomenal! They walked us through the menu and took such good care of us throughout our meal. This experience here was the best one our whole group had the whole week we were in Vegas. Thank you so much.

We had an amazing dinner at Craftsteak. The food was incredible, the steaks were cooked to perfection- exactly how we would want them. The service was as good as it gets. Kyle Shannon, the GM, is doing an amazing job and it was a pleasure to meet him. Our server Mesfin was wonderful. In addition, the restaurant is really beautiful, great lighting, really cozy yet elegant. I woj highly recommend.

Easily one of the most delicious meals I've ever had in my 40 years. My husband ate here a couple years ago with a friend and couldn't shut up about it, and we finally had the opportunity to go together. We had the octopus, which was to die for--so tender--then the skirt steak, braised short rib, Brussels, and potatoes. Everything was absolutely incredible. We could barely even converse because we were too busy enjoying the food, which in my opinion really says a lot! The service was attentive and friendly. We had a really great experience and I can't wait to go back next time we're in Vegas.

Fantastic food, great service and top notch ambiance. Skirt steak is exceptional, unlike any skirt steak you've ever tasted! I forgot my AirPods at the restaurant and Kyle has very kindly drove to the airport to give them back to me - I would have never expected such degree of kindness. I'm very impressed!

Meats should never come sauced automatically. To me that means you are trying to hide the flavor of the meat. Even though it was sauces it was cooked perfect medium rare. Very good! Spinach was fab as were the rolls. The chocolate chip cookie was just fine. My husband had the crème brulee and that was amazing. Service was very lovely. Well timed and very attentive. The atmosphere is really nice in the main dining. Closer to the front is very loud.

Craftsteak by Tom Colicchio delivered an unforgettable dining experience. We ordered the tomahawk steak, which was cooked to perfection—the flavor was outstanding, and savoring the bone itself was a treat. The presentation was striking and felt worthy of a true steakhouse moment. For sides, we selected the mashed potatoes and corn à la carte. Both were creamy and fresh, though they could have used a touch more salt and seasoning to truly shine. Even so, they paired nicely with the richness of the steak. As someone who has admired Tom Colicchio for over 21 years on Top Chef, I know he sets the standard high—and Craftsteak lived up to it. I’ll absolutely be back, especially to try the 24-hour braised short ribs, which I’ve heard are exceptional. A remarkable meal and a restaurant worth returning to.

Place is perfect for family, couples. I don’t think it’s for a group of friends who are younger because this place is very by the book. From the decor of the black and white and the classic navy blue with the wood… it’s all proper but boring. So not for my friend group at least. Caesar salad was good because of the fresh anchovies! Bread was good. The New York steak wasn’t - it was served almost cold and was pretty bland. THE FRIES- a must. Panna cotta was disappointing. We booked the table 3 hours prior and it was a smooth experience, the restaurant is lovely and highly recommended as an easy to go plan here at MGM!

Good food, but started out very sketchy. We walked into an almost empty restaurant with maybe three tables of diners. The hostess was very young and not very friendly. She seated us at a small table near one of the other diners. We asked for one of the 10 empty booths and were told they were only for executives. We asked again and we’re told if we wanted to wait about 30 minutes, maybe we can get a better table. The restaurant was empty! When we were about to leave, they reluctantly gave us a good table. We spent $350 for dinner for two. I would’ve had a great experience if they didn’t hassle us over a table in an empty restaurant.

We initially planned to try Craftsteak's signature pork chop, but our server highly recommended the rack of lamb instead. This dish features a generous serving of eight racks of lamb, which prompted us to forgo the salmon and a raw fish appetizer. We were also encouraged to order a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, offered at a special price of $165. As frequent travelers who have dined at many prestigious restaurants around the globe, we know that a truly satisfying dining experience depends on both excellent food and attentive service. Unfortunately, our visit to Craftsteak left much to be desired on the service front. At the beginning, our server was professional and engaging, making us feel welcomed. However, as the evening progressed, his presence became increasingly scarce. We weren’t even asked how our meal was—a basic expectation at any high-end restaurant. It was disheartening to see our server spending time chatting with the table next to us and even shaking hands with them at the end of their meal, while we felt overlooked. When the bill was presented to us, it was done so from behind without our request, which felt abrupt and impersonal. Although the food itself was decent, the overall experience left us feeling neglected. We still left a generous tip for our almost invisible server, which felt undeserved given the lack of attention we received. In summary, while the food was satisfactory, the service did not meet the standards expected of a fine dining establishment, leaving us feeling unappreciated. Craftsteak has potential, but the overall experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of its offerings. 😕

I had high hopes for Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak at the MGM Grand, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. I was with a group and we chose the tasting menu. The service was truly five star, and the atmosphere was very nice. Our server was attentive and professional, and the setting was exactly what you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse. The big issue was the steak. I tried several cuts and all of them were bland and lacking in flavor. For a restaurant that puts "steak" in the name, it was a huge letdown. What you see on my plate was about all I ate of the $200 meal. On the other hand, all of the salads and sides were outstanding. Honestly, if the place was called "Craftsalad," it would be a more accurate reflection of what was memorable. I’ve had much better steak at Longhorn or just about any casual dining restaurant. I can now say I’ve tried Craftsteak, but I won’t be going back. It ended up being the biggest disappointment of a six-day trip, and that includes a meal at the Horseshoe food court, just to put things in perspective.

We had done the chef experience twelve years ago and was blown away so when we had a show at the MGM Grand we decided to try it again. When booking we found it odd that we had to prepay the entire meal including tip, but figured it the food was good it would be worth it. Unfortunately this time the experience was not a chef experience at all, but rather a corporate catered event. Twelve years ago they asked about allergies and preferences of food before creating a fun/unique menu- this time all the was asked was allergies. No other discussion about if we like seafood or anything. Appetizers: the chef chose for us the most boring options on the menu- a chopped wedge salad and shrimp cocktail. The wedge salad was just ok- it felt like a salad we could get at outback. The white wine we they paired with this was good, but really for the price I would have liked another glass or bigger pour of wine. Main: a kobe skirt steak (which was good) and a filet. The filet was tougher than a domestic wagyu filet should be. Also, any good steak shouldn't need a sauce to cover the flavors. The sides they picked for this was asparagus and mashed potatoes. Dessert: this was my favorite a pecan monkey bread. Overall this $700 dinner took us only about an hour and left us underwhelmed and disappointed. If you want a true chef experience, do yourself a favor and skip Craftsteak and check out Bazaar meats at the Palazzo.

Went there for a corporate event. It was very bizarre. The food was served in large plates that were placed in the middle of the table, and it was then passed around the table and each person was to take a small amount from each plate. Ultimately, each person got very little food to actually eat. And the plates did not have any serving utensils, so everyone had to use their own personal fork, in order to get food from the shared plates, which is bizarre. They called this dining “family style”, but ultimately it just worked out to be a strange experience, where everyone was left unsatisfied. The courses of food also took forever to arrive. Dessert finally arrived after three hours, and a table of six people had to share three small slices of cheesecake that were put in the middle of the table.

We went there for dinner for my birthday yesterday, December 12. We ordered two steaks and other seafood menu. The steaks were tomahawk to share cook at medium. And my steak, I ordered their dry age bone in ribeye 18oz. Medium rare. I was very disappointed on my ribeye. First thing I did was pressed it with my fork in the center and it was too firm. I already knew it was not medium rare. I cut in the center and it was very tough. I sent it back. And told my waiter to just put SPG and Cooke to medium rare. The manager serve the second steak and it was more tender and Cooke to medium rare. This place pride their steak as one of best. But it failed big time especially for a dry age bone in ribeye steak. There shouldn’t have been any second chances. BTW I cooked and eat a lot of steaks whenever I have a chance so I know my steak the way it’s supposed to be cook.

I decided to make a reservation at Craftsteak for dinner on my first night in town (12/13/25). The restaurant was busy, but I was seated almost immediately and I placed my order. I started with the grilled octopus appetizer and unfortunately it was overcooked and tasteless (throw that $39 out the window). My entree was the Snake River Waygu 12 ounce Skirt Steak. I ordered medium rare and that's exactly how it arrived. I have to say it was the best Steak I've ever eaten and I've had my fair share of Steaks in my lifetime (I'm 60 y/o). I also ordered a side of sautéed seasonal mushrooms and they were just that....average seasonal sautéed mushrooms. Overall, there were a few things that stood out to me......the Steak, the service by the employees (thank goodness for the exceptional work done by the entire staff I dealt with) and the lack of a dress code. Craftsteak is what I would consider a high(er) class restaurant, but not too many of the other patrons thought so. I saw shorts, flannel shirts, hoodies, flannel hoodies, backwards baseball caps and pretty much anything else that shouldn't be worn in a classy place. Management, PLEASE institute a dress code!!! I had dinner by myself and with the tip, spent $200! When spending that kind of hard earned money, I expect two things ....my dinner to be cooked properly and the patrons to dress like they care what they look like. I will not return to Craftsteak because I can get my fill of hoodies and dirty clothes at any fast food place that will cost me a heck of a lot less money! Sorry Tom, but someone needed to be honest and upfront about whats going on in your place and you need to know the truth and If you're looking to eventually hire someone to enforce a dress code, I'm your man.....

service wasn’t good… took over an hr for what was supposed to be an 18 oz bone in ribeye. It might have been, at best, 1/2 inch thick. Waffle House serves a better steak. Never again. Gave my left overs to a homeless guy… hope he doesn’t hate me

I saved this restaurant for my last night at the MGM in Las Vegas based on its alegem reputation and masive advertising - amazing pictures. But I deeply regret it! I order the Wagyu skirt steak. For $100 per steak I aspected to be blown away, but it was far from what happened. The steak came covered in a gravy-like sauce. Very garlicky, slightly spicy and over salted. And that’s the only thing I could taste. It could’ve been a Burger King patty and still would taste the same. I ordered a side of baked cauliflower. Once again, it came covered in a white sauce, kind of cheesy and salty. I brought the issue to the waiter but the only thing I got was sorry about it. I would not recommend this restaurant. Take your dollars somewhere else, like Giada’s or Gallagher. A steak should taste like a steak!!! What a horrible experience!
