This place has excellent food! Everything was 10/10 easily! The food came out fresh and cooked to perfection! The lobster ravioli stole the show! My first time trying octopus and it was very good as well! They give you complimentary chips with a spicy salsa dip and a bean type dip. The homemade cheesecake might’ve been one of the best I’ve ever had seriously! I’ll definitely come back!

I had an amazing experience at El Toro y La Capra — the service, the food, and the overall vibe were all on point. First off, the service is great. My server Eduardo was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and always checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. Huge shoutout to Becky at the front as well — she was amazing, welcoming, and super helpful. Honestly, she deserves a raise. The restaurant runs fast and efficient. The servers get to you as needed, and the food comes out very quickly. I honestly thought I would need a to-go box, but everything arrived so fast and fresh that it wasn’t even necessary. They also have a buffet for around $18 all-you-can-eat starting around 11 AM, which is an incredible value for the quality and variety. One cool detail: you actually go upstairs to eat, which makes it feel like a little trip within a trip — and the experience upstairs is just as amazing as the food. Overall, great service, great staff, great value, and great atmosphere. I highly recommend El Toro y La Capra if you’re in Vegas.

We are in Vegas and this hidden gem was worth the Lyft ride! We have tried many fusion restaurants, but never Italian Mexican. The service grounds this awesome spot, the staff are kind and attentive. We had the nachos with carne asada and tacos de pescado. The fideo made me feel at home!!

Actual Rating 4.3⭐️ (I cannot put my actual rating in google so I round up) This is a 1st time visit. I’ve noticed this restaurant over the last couple of years and thought it might be interesting to try. This review is strictly for the lunch buffet on a Wednesday. The place had a few people there when we arrived but got rather busy during our meal. Atmosphere: 5⭐️ The restaurant looks great. A lot of time, effort and money went into the decor. And although we were there for a lunch buffet, I could see taking my loved one there for a nice dinner date. Cleanliness: 4⭐️ Everything seemed rather clean. The tables were bused rather quickly and when people left they were also cleaned quickly. The buffet line was also kept very clean. I didn’t not use the restroom to see the cleanliness. Service: 4⭐️ There seems to be quite a few people working there and everyone is constantly tending to tables bussing, cleaning and refilling drinks. Our waiter talked to us for a few minutes and was rather friendly. Food Quality and taste: 4.5⭐️ Everything I ate was good and a few things were great. This place is supposed to be a fusion of Mexican and Italian. But the buffet line had either Mexican dishes or Italian. I’m not sure if the regular menu has fusion dishes. Since there were a lot of patrons, the food is constantly being replenished and never sitting out for very long, which is a plus for the quality. Pizza was rather good and not something you would get at a buffet. The self assembled tostadas were great. Chili verde was great. Marinara and Alfredo pastas were good as with the beef fajitas. Price/value: 4⭐️ As of Sept2025, $18 before tax. And in this era of “no cheap places to eat in Vegas”, it is not bad for the quality and taste. Summary: Overall my experience was very good. Will I come back? Yes. And I would hope that there are different items to try on another day. Update: revisit on 13 October 2025. The restaurant buffet was very busy. Whatever they are doing to bring customers in is working. Which means there’s a higher turnover of food and so the food is always fresh. There seems to be a few different items and although I wasn’t paying too much attention, the items on this day were more Mexican dishes than Italian. But everything was very good tasting. Self made tostadas are a favorite. The pizza is very good but my only complaint is that the pizzas is stacked on top of one another separated by a wax paper. The paper doesn’t keep from the toppings sticking all that well. I wish they were on a rack or something. I would like to see a little more dessert options La but the rice pudding is tasty. Overall it’s very good.

Such a gorgeous establishment with great quality food. We are vegetarian and the kind server was able to modify all the dishes to cater to our dietary restrictions. I recommend this restaurant, the Mexican Italian fusion was great and the live music really made it a worthwhile experience. ❤️❤️👑

Love it!! I heard a lot about this restaurant so we visited in our trip to Las Vegas, we are an Oregonian couple, it was delicious 😋!!! We tried the buffet, it had lots of great options for mexican food, also pasta, salad, pizza, BBQ ribs and desserts, Aguas Frescas were so tasty and real fruit made, chile verde and chicharron en salsa were my favorite ones but everything was so tasty 😋!! The owner was greeting people and making sure everything was running smoothly, It was a pleasure shaking hands with him, I can truly say that He's a nice and humble person, our experience was great!! Can't wait to visit Las Vegas and this great restaurant again. Thanks for a delicious meal and a wonderful time.

Fabulous hole in the wall resturant. The vibe was vintage and reminded me of my grandmothers restaurant. Food was fresh and quantity was large. Serving was ok. Overall left full and satisfied. Dinner for 2 was $75

Love the beans and chips. My friend order chicken parmesan which I thought was good but he thought it was too thin and portion size was small. The other dish was a combination plate. Tamale was good. Taco excellent. Burrito had shredded beef, I would have preferred ground beef. Super good happy hour martigritas!

Il Toro E La Capra: ⸻ Outstanding food, great family story, and warm hospitality! Il Toro E La Capra truly exceeded our expectations. The rich family history behind this restaurant adds a special touch to the experience—it’s clear this place is built on passion and tradition. We started with the chips and salsa, which came with a unique Italian twist—served alongside a flavorful bread and oil mix that was absolutely delicious. The traditional soup was just as satisfying as its counterpart at the original location, delivering on both taste and authenticity. For lunch, we ordered the tacos and chicken quesadillas, both of which were packed with flavor and generously portioned. Every bite was satisfying and fresh. What really made the experience even more memorable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. We felt like family from the moment we walked in. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re bringing friends! Highly recommend.

From the moment you walk into Il Toro E La Capra, you immediately understand this isn’t just another Italian restaurant — it’s a place built around passion, tradition, and hospitality. The atmosphere hits first. Warm lighting, rustic textures, and the aroma of simmering sauces and fire-kissed ingredients create the kind of comfort that makes you slow down without realizing it. It feels like you’ve stepped into a family trattoria somewhere in the Italian countryside, where food matters and time doesn’t. The menu is thoughtfully curated — not oversized, not overwhelming — just focused on doing things right. Every dish tastes intentional. The pasta has that unmistakable fresh texture you only get when it’s made properly. Sauces aren’t heavy; they’re balanced and layered, letting ingredients speak instead of hiding them. You can taste the tomatoes, the herbs, the olive oil — everything tastes alive. The meats deserve special mention. Cooked with confidence and respect, they arrive exactly as ordered and seasoned perfectly. You get that beautiful contrast of char and tenderness that tells you the kitchen understands heat, timing, and restraint. Nothing feels rushed or mass-produced.

The food and service at this restaurant is phenomenal. I tried their Salmon Sarandeado and the salmon was cooked to perfection with the arroz y frijoles being amazing as well. Servers were very accommodating, attentive, and even moved us to a warmer area when we were cold. The environment and music was very comfortable, this restaurant serves and feeds you with love.

The decor was so nice n inviting, i loved it! the service was great , very nice and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious! We ate the carne asada pizza and the crust literally melted in my mouth! The table was served with garlic knots n chips with some spicy tasty red salsa and some refried beans and some chimchurri sauce with olive oil to dip the bread in😊 they also brought fideo soup to the table to start off our meal. We ordered the spaghetti n meatballs , everything was delicious! We will be going back to try the Latin delights they offer !!

S

The food was excellent! The servers were very nice! The only reason for the 3 star atmosphere is because the was a very loud group and the hostess put us right next to the table. We would not hesitate to return. I wish we lived closer!

First time here after my mother saw a reel on FB recommending this restaurant. We arrived when they opened at 11 AM. Overall we had a great experience. Their homemade corn tortillas are amazing.

Maribel R was our enthusiastic waitress! She kept our water glasses full. She was prompt and polite. Our food from the Fedei soup, rolls, and chips were fantastic!! Our food was deliciously filling. We brought home about half our meals and a slice of Pastel De Cafe for home. Everything was delicious, and we shall return!

Have been to this restaurant 3 times, with work with friends and with family. It’s a great place for any kind of event. The food is great! with choices from Italian and Mexican cuisines. The ambiance is lovely and plenty of seating. The service is wonderful, fast and friendly Oh and the appetizer tortilla chips are soooo good! Definitely recommend! 10/10

This restaurant is about 15 minutes away from the strip and parking is free. I love the concept of a mexian Italian fusion. The restaurant is beautifully designed and had live entertainment on friday. The staff was very attentive. The menu had many options to choose from. We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer. It was full of flavor and everything paired well together. It was one of the best things i have eaten this year. Everything that was ordered was delicious and the presentation of each dish coming out the kitchen was visually appealing. We also received a complimentary bread and chips that came with salsa, beans and a olive oil blend and fideo soup, which reminded me of my childhood. You will definitely leave full and content.

If you are in Vegas, do yourself a favor and go eat at Il Toro E La Capra. The service, food, and atmosphere are top notch. Everything from the chips, salsa, and bean dip to the main dish was delicious. 10/10 would recommend and will be on my must visits every time I come to Vegas.

Our party off 8 really enjoyed our lunch. The lunch buffet was fantastic. The server was on top of everything. The buffet offered various taco options. Chile verde, Chile colorado, costillas en salsa, spaghetti, fettuccine Alfredo, pizza, soups, Aguas frescas

Came around 5p on a Wednesday. Place is nice inside and quiet at this time. Had the Spaghetti and Meatballs and it was delicious. The plate had a Mexican influence and not overwhelming. Finished with the Nutella Cheesecake. Never had Nutella before and it was amazing.

This place is worth trying. The atmosphere is great. They served rolls with the chips. They were phenomenal. We tried the calamari, which was delicious. It came with fried zucchini, too. The soup is better than most places. I got the combination plate with a beef enchilada, taco and chille relleno. It was all very good. My brother in law tried a noodle dish, and he was impressed. They don't do anything special for birthdays, so I wouldn't recommend going for that reason. Otherwise, it's a great place for dinner.

Love the atmosphere of II Toro E La Capra. I enjoyed the Polpette that added cilantro definitely brought in the Mexican flair. Also enjoyed the Italian Cheesecake which was wonderful.

Carne asada pizza literally the best pizza I have ever had! Pasta is unbelievable. Insane! This place is incredible, I'm so glad we finally came here. I have never in my life had such amazing food. The Cadillac margaritas are the best I've had, legit homemade with no mixer! So so good

The atmosphere and service were just phenomenal! The moment the glass was close to empty someone was refilling it, and clearing our plates as soon as we finished. Definitely a great team! Out of a group of 9 only 2 didn't like their meals(they ordered fajitas and enchiladas). The kids meals are only $9 and are large plates and comes with the beverage and soup.

This place is so delicious!!!! The Mexican food is authentic ( only the tacos) and portions are huge! (We got the asada tacos and the meat was great quality, my shrimp tacos were out of this world and when i say shrimp i mean 3-4 large shrimps per taco just delicious. The Italian side we had pizza and it was really good. Cristian was our server he was very friendly and outgoing he made sure we were taken care of and invited us back several times. Such a good experience We came back to try other food and it was not good at all that’s why my review changed :(

Love trying new places! This was a Mexican restaurant and it was fantastic! They give you free chips and three different kinds of free salsa. Never had it before, but all the flowers were very different and unique. Drinks were very good as well. We got the carpaccio and it was one of the best we’ve ever eaten! I know that’s not Mexican, but can never pass up a good carpaccio. lol

Impeccable! My boyfriend (Italian) and I (Mexican) visited from out of town Memorial Day weekend. This was the only restaurant we dined at off the strip. We had an amazing experience! The food is truly phenomenal 👌 as well as the prices. The service was also great! We will be back 👍

If you're like me you've probably passed this place many times on your way to someplace nearby and always said... "That looks nice, I should check it out sometime". Well NOW is that time! This place is as beautiful inside as it is inside and the food is outrageous with their BIG portions and BIG flavors and freshness. The staff qas politely and very helpful if you have any questions about the menu and your glass will never go empty they are always making sure you are taken care of happy.

This place is incredible. The staff was there. If we needed to ask any questions, they described everything, they were very attentive. The service was just incredible altogether. Now the food I am lost for words. If you love Mexican food, they got it. If you love Italian food, they got it. The fusion of the 2 foods leaves your mouth watering for more There's so many options you don't know what you want. Because you want it all the restaurant itself was beautiful, very welcoming, very inviting. We went there for dinner to celebrate my son's birthday and found out that they have a lunch buffet. We will definitely be going back very soon.

Dined: 12/24/25 # in party: 17 I’ve driven past many times over the years and decided to give this Italian and Mexican restaurant a try. It didn’t disappoint! The service is fast and attentive (constantly refilling water, soda and alcohol). The food was overall very good and a lot of it in every dish. Chicken Nachos, Calamari, Shrimp Bruschetta, Carne Asada Tacos, Chicken Marsala were the hits tonight! The ambiance had a low noise level overall so you can easily talk w/o yelling…

We tried the lunch buffet special. Served upstairs, it's a combination of Italian and Mexican. No tacos or enchiladas, as we expected. Tostada shells were available, as were both corn and flour tortillas. Chips and salsa were served to our table, with the salsa being pretty darned spicy. Pizza, bread rolls, a couple of noodle dishes, some (what seemed like boiled) chicken wings and roasted vegetables were about the only Italian food I saw there. Chili colorado, green chile pork, ground beef with corn, refried beans, rice and more (see photos) represented the Mexican fare. Most of the stuff served was ok, nothing really stood out as excellent. The service was very good, being checked on and our drinks being refilled (even horchatas) on a regular basis. Sandia, melon and piña frescas are available at the buffet. Nicely decorated interior provides a fun atmosphere. The price is reasonable for what you get.

L
Luis Arenas

The ambiance is really nice, all the decorations add a classy look to the place. The service was amazing, every staff member was respectful & willing to help in anything we needed. And for the food i got the Pasta Sarandeada Javier Cresencio which was creamy with a bit of spicy level & the shrimps had a good size to them, really recommend for the first time dish.

S
Shawn Morin

Really liked the bread and salsa dips (srsly really good), Bolognese dish and meatballs were terrific! I had the pasta azteca, it was good I wish it had more chorizo on it, couldn't taste any really. Our server Ken was awesome, he was fun and very attentive.

This review is bittersweet because this restaurant has been on my list for a couple years now and I finally tried it only to be disappointed. Let’s start with the reservation. This was for Valentine’s Day 2026 - I called and made the reservation on January 25, 2026 - so believe me when I say, I WAS EXCITED. The reservation is set for 7:00pm, we checked in at 6:50pm, and we were seated at 7:35pm :( Thinking it would be worth the wait, the main dish - the tomahawk - unseasoned, no salt, no flavor, no nada! The pasta pollo con rajas y crema, the same - no salt/flavor. Almost as if they blended the veggies to make the salsa and just threw it on top of the pasta and added corn/pasilla chiles - the pasta was way too al dente/hard… No sign of cream in the sauce. Utterly disappointing :( The Formaggio Ravioli and the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni with shrimp, INCREDIBLE! The bruschetta, FIRE. The drinks, DELICIOUS. The best part about this experience was the staff and the environment. The entire staff was lit! For real. Especially the Bussers - true people :) Coupled with the decor, the music, the ambience - an absolute vibe. All in all, sadly, we won’t be returning but I’m glad I was able to come down and experience this myself .

It's cute inside. There were a lot of people in there when we went and it was so hot. They need to fix the air-conditioning. The bread with the oil was delicious. I think I could have just eaten the bread, and I would have been happy. My daughter liked her steak dish, but the rest of the food we had was just not that great. The pizzas looked good, but we didn't have one. So i'm not sure how it would taste. No, on the number one combo meal. The taco was weird. Maybe you could go and find something you like. They had a big menu.

This is a beautiful and clean establishment. Upon entering the hostess is very welcoming and helpful. We were a party of 10 and were seated immediately and after sitting down we waited roughly 15-20 minutes before our waiter even acknowledged our table and took our drink order. After getting our drinks we waited another 30 minutes or so just to have our food order taken. Within this time frame I witnessed a waiter come out of the kitchen with a tray of food and lift it up in the air to scratch his armpit, then he proceeded to serve the table touching the plates with the same hand he scratched his armpit with. This is very disgusting and It’s a little disappointing seeing it was my first time to this place and this is the experience I was given. Besides the service being not the greatest, the food was amazing. This is why I gave it 3 stars instead of one. I honestly don’t no if I’d return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you have lots of time to spend waiting.

I don't like to write bad reviews but this is a so so review for a so so place. We made reservations for 615 pm but we were not seated until 7 pm. Service was slow to start the meal. Thank god they gave us chips, bread, salsa and oil while we waited for our food to come out another 15-20 minutes later. Never order Italian food at a Mexican Italian restaurant. It was so so- the pasta dishes were bland. Better off ordering Mexican food. Pizza was ok. What save the rating is their cocktails and dessert. They also messed up on our orders. I would think twice before I come back. Better off going to their Lindo location and just getting Mexican food.

We had a reservation for 8 p.m. on Mother’s Day. My mom made it days in advance. We arrived early at 7:55 p.m. and were told the kitchen was behind and we’d need to wait 20 minutes. That turned into 40. Meanwhile, people without reservations were being seated before us. It looked like the hostess was moving walk-ins ahead of us on the waitlist. When we finally got seated, it wasn’t a booth. Thankfully, our server was excellent. He was polite, bilingual, professional, and offered us a booth as soon as one opened. He made the experience better. We ordered water, two tamarindo Palomas, a lemonade, and later two watermelon rum cocktails and another Paloma. Queso fundido with chorizo and flour tortillas was delicious. Aguachiles barely had any shrimp and were mostly vegetables, which irritated my mom. Complimentary chips with salsa, warm refried beans, bread with olive oil and vinegar, and a tiny sopa de fideo were nice touches. For entrees, I had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. It was too salty except for the shrimp. My mom and her boyfriend got the pasta Azteca with New York steak and liked it. My sister had chicken parmesan with fries and was happy with hers. We gave feedback to our server about the food and wait. He said he spoke with the manager, but nothing was discounted. For what we got, the food wasn’t worth the price. Plates were $15 to $30 and cocktails were $14 each. The total was $223.52. We still tipped $20 because our server did his job well and showed care. Honestly, we expected better from a restaurant owned by Lindo Michoacán. The service and crowd didn’t match the location or reputation. Won’t be returning.

First visit here and overall a good experience. The chicken taquitos were solid, the spicy margaritas were very good, and the waitstaff was excellent. My husband said the beef and bean burrito was a little meh, but we’d definitely come back and try other dishes

S
Scottie Scott

You have a great thing going here. Great sign outside to bring people in. However, you need better flavor in your food. The pizza sauce had no flavor. The chicken wings had no flavor. What I thought was pico de gallo was unrecognizable. No cumin or cilantro flavor no where. Don’t blow this chance. People love to tell others about a great new place. Don’t blow it.

C
Chuck Roast

The decorations of this place are beautiful! The food menu is extensive, and the fusion idea is clever. However, execution was where they fell short. First off, they advertise happy hour for drinks beginning at 2pm, I arrived shortly after 2pm only for them to tell me it begins at 3pm, they would not honor my comment, even after pointing out their website says 2pm. We were already off to a bad start. The service was just okay, nothing special. The drinks we ordered tasted like sugar water. They didn't have any trace of alcohol taste, and they were way overpriced, especially for the quality. The food items were also just okay. The steak was bland, and the pasta needed to be spiced up a bit as well. Unfortunately, this place fell short to attract future business from us. The overall bill was over $100 for two entrees and two drinks - way too expensive. The pizza did look good. However, we didn't order it, so I don't know how good it actually is.

M
M Diamond

The ambience is lovely & festive. People are nice & welcoming. The drinks are fun looking but had no alcohol in any of the glasses at the table of eight of us. I did not picture any of the food as there is no point. The menu is never ending which was was a concern because how can any one place do that many dishes & do it well. They did not. We ordered everything from Milanese, Pasta, Carne Asada, Tacos, & Pizza, Salad & a couple other random items. We were extremely disappointed. The service was unfortunately not great either. While it was during the lunch hour, there was not a rush, & it was difficult to get water or even another beverage let alone the wait we experienced for everything. It was hot & I finally had to ask for water. All of the tables around us ordered, got there food, ate, paid to be leaving, as we were just getting our order taken. We had so many servers I cannot tell you who was our actual waiter & yet we still were there for forever. I asked them if there was different bartenders as my drinks would come decorated & tasting differently. They said no which was also a surprise. The amount of money we spent to not be able to have more good points to share is a shame. Yes, they have tons of parking and I feel that it is accessible to all. I wish I could have given a better review we were hopeful it would be a favorite as it is close to our office.

C
Cayi Day

The service was really bad. They would pour water all the time. But every 20 mins the waiter came by. I was very dissatisfied with our food. The chilaquiles green sauce was super sweet. The pizza Carne Asada was not of my liking but my friends tried it and it was all about the tomatillo sauce being off. The pasta azteca was such a weird bad combination, chorizo and beans did not have a smooth transition to the pasta. The carnitas and chicharron pizza was not liked by my friend either she says the ingredients didn’t match. The drinks Sole Mio, Hugo Spritz, and Costeño were 10/10. So to conclude, the drinks were good and the place was cute. But I wouldn’t go because of food or service.

M
Mark V (Sin City)

Veal Parmigiano was terrible. Pasta sauce was watery. Not home made. Sauce was from the can. My wife shrimp pizza was bland. The water they serve was not filtered, just iced tap water. It was a better place when it was Rythym Kitchen. Would not recommend and will never go back there again or eat at any Lindo Michoacan restaurant.

D
Dan Kate

The food was not edible and WAY over priced for the size and quality. My al pastor tacos were very over cooked and hard you couldn't eat half the meat on the taco, my wife got the #5 combo and her food was undercooked in the burrito still raw in the middle and they told us it was normal. I've been cooking for many years and know what raw pork looks like and they handed out raw food and called it good. As for the chicken on her plate it was over cooked like my al pastor was, I don't understand what is happening on the kitchen but they don't know how to cook for sure. It wasn't even busy it was us and one other table. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE, we will go to other restaurants and pay half the price for better food like the Three Amigos.

s
signtrendz1

Everything missed in the buffet. I went on Friday. The fajitas were not real fajitas they were not even grilled they seemed like they were all cooked together boiled in their own juices. That’s not how you make fajitas. The chilaquiles were super dry not sure why they chose to serve at a buffet. The pastas were flavorless like they weren’t even trying at all. pastas overcooked. Spanish rice was extremely garlicky. I was excited about the tostada station only to find out there’s nothing to put on them but meat and their ground beef was literally only ground beef. No lettuce or toppings to go on them at all. Flour tortillas just aren’t right either too dry not fluffy. Green chilly with meat is watery. What a disappointment. It doesn’t seem like their menu food will be this bad but I don’t care to come back. Place looks so nice to have such a bad buffet. What a terrible representation of Mexican food. Hopefully someone gets it right with Mexican buffets one day
