Luogo incantevole affacciato sul lago, in un punto in cui si restrige particolarmente ed e ben visibile di fronte a poche decine di metri, la costa svizzera del lago . L'ambiente è raffinato, malgrado il nome di osteria, e il servizio è molto curato. Piatti squisiti ben presentati. Prezzi adeguati al livello di qualità e cura.

La carne cotta perfettamente come doveva essere, sia il mio piatto che quello del mio amico spettacolare davvero. Impiattamento molto curato e pulito, servizio bravi, ottimo. ⭐ • Unica cosa che il contorno è un pochino caro per quello che è (intesa la porzione). (A parer mio il contorno deve stare nel prezzo del primo). Menu molto variato! Complimenti! Da dove cominciare? Il servizio è stato impeccabile: i camerieri gentili, disponibili e davvero alla mano, capaci di mettere subito a proprio agio. La location è semplicemente mozzafiato, sia all’interno con un arredamento curato e accogliente, sia all’esterno con una vista sul lago che regala un’atmosfera unica e rilassante. Il pasto è stato all’altezza delle aspettative, anzi, le ha superate. Come antipasto ho scelto un tris composto da ostriche, cozze e tartare di salmone: ogni boccone era fresco e saporito, un inizio davvero promettente. Per secondo, una selezione di frutti di mare e di lago: tutto cucinato con attenzione, con una frittura croccante ma leggera, per nulla pesante e facilmente digeribile. In conclusione, un’esperienza che consiglio vivamente a tutti: sia a chi desidera una cena rilassata con una splendida vista, sia a chi cerca una location particolare per un’occasione speciale. Tutto perfetto. Menù a scelta o stagionale. Ampia scelta di vini. Servizio rapido, molto cortese ma allo stesso tempo simpatico. Ambiente gradevole, inoltre la vista lago ti fa sentire in vacanza.

Il posto è molto bello con vista lago. Specialmente se vi sedete fuori. I piatti sono molto buoni, ho assaggiato alcuni piatti del menù stagionale in autunno con tanto di funghi porcini e li ho trovati ottimi. Anche la grigliata di pesce e gli intrighi con i gamberetti sono buonissimi. Il personale è professionale e gentile. I prezzi non sono bassi ma non sono neanche esagerati. Diciamo circa 45€ a testa per due portate più dolce e da bere. Lo consiglio a chi vuole fare un pranzo particolare.

Bella osteria sul lungolago di Ponte Tresa con ampia terrazza sul lago e tavoli fuori sulla passeggiata. Buon cibo e belle porzioni. Buona anche la pizza e vasta scelta di vini di ottima qualità. Prezzi medi ma non troppo eccessivi. Servizio abbastanza veloce e staff simpatico! Consigliato!!

Esperienza unica in una giornata di Festa. Cibo cucinato con maestria, servizio preciso, personale molto professionale e cordiale. Ci tornerò sicuramente!!!

Very nice classic Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients, attention to detail and good flavors. Beautiful menu with emphasis on seafood. The scoglio and frittura di pesce were not your usual, but had a much nicer selection of seafood! Highly recommend! A bit pricier but worth the money.

This decent restaurant, which I found by chance, offered us very high quality food and service. The seafood pasta I shared with the photo was very delicious and I ate the water of dish with bread 😅. The dessert I ordered to try later was dancing with cream and cheese. The view of the restaurant does not need words anyway. You can eat here in peace and probably enjoy a lot. Parking may be a problem because there is not much space unfortunately.

This is a great place to enjoy dinner outside with a stunning view! Food was good especially the starters, the dorade gratinee and the dessert. The Vongole was a bit sandy and the rice with the perch fillets too dry to eat. But still would come back again to enjoy the view again!

The food is very good, specially all fish dishes. All pastas with fish, the different cooked fish and also the raw platter is a must. We come to this place often during the summer. The view is also very very beautiful. It is one of those “secret ” sides of the lake, not very famous but amazing. I recomend eating outside where the tables are beautiful and booking with more than a week in advance because it gets difficult to book. I also see many families celebrating in big parties, so book ahead of time!

It was already dark when we arrive and couldn't enjoy the amazing view. The restaurant is located in Italy and Switzerland is just 50m away on the other side of the canal. There is a terrace and a very small place for smokers. The food was absolutely amazing. They serve traditional Napoli dishes. In autumn don't miss the cepe season. The mushrooms are growing everywhere in the region. The appetizers are pretty big. I recommend to share a plate otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the next dishes. The Prosecco was probably the most delicious I ever had. And cherry on the cake; the service is very friendly. I warmly recommend this restaurant !

L' ideale è mangiare nella terrazza con vista sul lago. L' antipasto mibè piaciuto molto mentre il fritto misto un po' meno I totani erano un po' gommosi. Nulla da eccepire per il dolce, una squisita crema catalana.

Location elegante, servizio attento, vista rilassante e di impatto. Piatti curati, materie prime selezionate, carta dei vini di qualità. Prezzi commisurati.

Bellissimo locale sul lungolago. Tavolini sul passeggio ma anche bella terrazza riparata vista lago. Piatti di carne e pesce e funghi buonissimo e ben impiattati. Servizio impeccabile e camerieri gentilissimi.

Location mozzafiato! Un angolino nascosto di Lavena Ponte Tresa, davvero molto suggestiva. Ho preso un antipasto di fiori di zucca ripieni con coda di rospo e un primo di scialatielli con vongole. Ho adocchiato una pizza che non mi sembrava nemmeno male, considerata la zona. Come dessert ho preso un tiramisù, forse un po’ troppo denso ma molto buono. Ci tornerei soprattutto per la location.

The location is really nice, the staff were friendly and present. On the whole the food was really nice. The justification for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the price - this restaurant is in Italy - but the prices were Swiss. I would however eat here again and be happy to recommend it.

Locale in bella posizione. Il tavolo era con la vista lago e non ho nulla di cui lamentarmi a riguardo. Il personale è stato gentile, ma il servizio in generale è stato troppo lungo. I piatti non erano male nel complesso ed i prezzi in linea con i prezzi della zona.

Risotto al persico 🤔o "pangasio" 0 mantecatura ,riso in formina ben compattato asciutto ,a parte ,persico ,parla da solo ,limone bho che c'entrava e bho il contorno. Tutto bene, una bella serata con amici, anche ad aver prenotato un tavolo con ora di arrivo si è aspettato ben oltre 5 minuti per la preparazione tavolo. Dopo esserci accomodati e liste più di 15 minuti di attesa, dopo il bere parziale portato altri 10minuti, presa l'ordinazione del cibo la prima pizza apparsa a 30min in sieme a bistecca impanata, dopo i ravioloni, il vino in calice ancora doveva arrivare, dopo 10min il resto delle portate. Il dolce è il caffè quasi immediati. Abbiate pazienza ,mettetevi comodi portatevi dei libri o pc, si mangia bene almeno quello ne vale la pena. Forse problemi in cucina, ma la lista mostrava un menù dei primi dei secondi non molta scelta, vino in bottiglia di nicchia €€€€ quindi le tempistiche dovrebbero migliorare.

È la seconda volta che trovandomi in questa zona decido di fermarmi qui per cena. Entrambe le volte ho mangiato bene ma non benissimo e questo è un peccato considerato il potenziale di questo ristorante, sia per la posizione in cui è collocato (proprio fronte lago) sia per il menù che propone. Durante questa cena ho ordinato 3 portate: un antipasto, un secondo piatto come portata principale e un dolce. Di antipasto ho scelto il "Cuoppo del Carde" composto da arancino, mozzarella in carrozza, fiore di zucca, crocchetta di patata e zeppola; tutto delizioso mi è piaciuto tantissimo. Come portata principale ho chiesto un "Filetto di Maialino Nostrano cotto a bassa temperatura con Cipollotto brasato", questo piatto invece si è rivelato deludente. Lo ordino spesso anche in altri ristoranti e data la cottura particolare non necessiterebbe nemmeno di essere tagliato con il coltello, parliamo di una carne tenerissima che si scioglie in bocca … sfortunatamente era molto dura, paragonabile alla suola di una scarpa. Di cipolle veramente brasate ne ho trovata una su quattro. Inoltre, è stato aggiunto un tortino di verza che non era menzionato nel menù, ho avuto l'impressione che fosse stato messo lì perché avanzato o comunque preparato con ingredienti che diversamente sarebbero andati perduti, difatti non era buono per niente. Per il dolce ho optato per un grande classico sua Maestà "La Pastiera Napoletana" accompagnata con crema di ricotta e gocce di cioccolato, un pochino troppo dolce per il mio palato. Avrei voluto bere una birra blache alla spina ma era terminata così ho ripiegato su altro. Carina l'idea di servire il pane all'interno di un sacchetto in carta anche se l'ho trovato secco. Veramente bello sia il locale che la terrazza esterna. Il cameriere che ci ha servito molto gentile, preparato e disponibile. Si può sempre migliorare … ci tornerò sicuramente anche perché nel complesso gli altri commensali sono rimasti soddisfatti della cena. I prezzi sono adeguati. Siamo stati a cena in due, sabato sera. Abbiamo preso dei gamberi rossi crudi (buonissimi) e una tartare di scampi per antipasto. La tartare era purtroppo pessima, lo scampo che la accompagnava buono, ma la base di tartare (lasciata nel piatto perché immaginabile) era acquosa e insapore. Abbiamo segnalato gentilmente al cameriere che non ci è piaciuta (senza chiedere un cambio di piatto, solo per segnalare in cucina). Dopo abbiamo preso dei ravioli ripieni di persico (molto poco pesce e pasta grossolana) e uno spaghettone cacio e pepe con tartare di scampi (molto poca e purtroppo la stessa dell'antipasto, segnalato anche questo al cameriere, senza chiedere di cambiare piatto). Il cameriere, gentile, infine ci suggerisce di segnalare alla cassa la cosa. Alla cassa ci hanno chiesto se fosse andato tutto bene. Abbiamo riportato quanto segnalato al cameriere. Non ci ha neanche risposto, ha fatto un cenno di spalle e ci ha detto quanto era il conto da pagare. Esperienza alquanto grottesca. Peccato, perché abbiamo speso 190 euro, con una buona bottiglia di vino. Spendiamo volentieri e vogliamo solo mangiare bene ed essere ascoltati da chi offre il servizio. Qui si viene completamente ignorati, forse perché hanno una buona affluenza di clienti. Non pretendevo nè uno sconto, ne altri piatti. Un "mi dispiace" sarebbe stato abbastanza. Ma neanche quello. Noi non torneremo.

At first the staff was quite friendly but after a short time they became really unfriendly. We ordered our food before the people beside us had even arrived and they still became their fold way before us (it seemed like the staff knew them). At the point we finally got our food, we found out that the meal that my mom ordered consisted of 7! single asparagus (look picturw below) and nothing else. And that costed 10€. Additionally the asprugus seemed like they weren't even peeled at all so she couldn't cut them and they were way too chewy and tough too eat. When the staff came and asked if everything was alright my mom said that her meal wasn't enjoyable at all. It seemed like they didn't care. So for the conclusion, the only nice thing at this restaurant was the view.

L’ APOTEOSI DELLA MALEDUCAZIONE. Non sono mai stato trattato così male in vita mia . Sono stato a cena con la mia ragazza e un altra coppia , abbiamo ordinato una frittura e una souté di cozze come antipasto , nulla di che la frittura per la maggior parte era solo pastella di verdura. Ma passiamo ai primi abbiamo ordinato un pacchero allo scoglio e tre spaghetti con le vongole ( lascio la foto ) che erano molto insipidi e annacquati , infatti abbiamo chiesto al cameriere se cortesemente potesse cambiarci il piatto , ci ha risposto in maniera un po’ scorbutica ma ci ha cambiato i piatti ,con i paccheri allo scoglio, chiesti da noi che avevamo assaggiato ed erano buoni . QUA INIZIA IL VERO CALVARIO . ci portano i paccheri allo scoglio come sostituzione dei piatti , una roba ABOMINEVOLE pieni di sale ( come se lo avessero fatto per ripicca ) .Dunque mi reco dal proprietario è in modo educato e tranquillo gli spiego l’accaduto , lui in modo da superiore , atteggiandosi MI MANDA PRIMA A PAESE (per non dire altro )nel vero senso della parola , poi alza la voce perché doveva passare nella ragione anche se era indifendibile in più quando ormai avevamo pagato il conto ( ci hanno tolto dal conto quei piatti unica nota positiva ) , ci richiama al telefono quando ormai eravamo in macchina urlando , dandoci dei ragazzini , rimandandoci a “quel paese” e insultandoci.( non è il primo ristorante a cui vado a mangiare capita di sbagliare un piatto su 300 l’importante è sapersi comportare con educazione COSA CHE IO A DIFFERENZA SUA HO SEMPRE FATTO ). Quindi non voglio fare la guerra al ristorante ho scritto questa recensione in primis per mio parere personale ma anche dell altra coppia non abbiamo mangiato bene . MA SOPRATTUTTO NON PENSAVO CHE SERVISSERO DEI RAGAZZINI DI 25 ANNI PER INSEGNARE LE BUONE MANIERE A DEI RISTORATORI CHE NE HANNO MOLTI DI PIÙ.

Very disappointing dinner with 7 colleagues. We ordered a mixed starter plate for 5 people and they served multiple starter dishes in sizes of a main dish wich they charges 110€ for. We requested 2 main dishes to be cancelled shortly after, because it was just too much food for all of us, but they denied. The food itself was only partly good. The pizza dough was almost raw as the pizza was in the oven for way too short. After talking to the staff about the starter dishes, my colleague was treated very rude, especially by the manager. In the end, way too much food had to be thrown away, which is a shame. No discount offered, not even a coffee or anything else. They just handed over the bill unasked. All in all very disappointing visit which is a shame because the restaurant is beautifully located at the lake. Would not recommend to visit, unless you want to be overcharged.

Waiter were unfriendly and didn’t even try to accommodate us properly. We asked for a mixed starter and they charged us 110 euros for a mixed starter platter - when we tried to clarify they began jelling to my colleague. I didn’t receive a glass for a Coca Cola I ordered and the pizza said in he menu it would be with burrata but they put mozzarella on. All in all not the most favorite dinner we’ve had.

We ordered food and over a simple feedback they had the whole staff and most of the restaurant involved with them screaming at us for not knowing our “culture” and having our facts wrong. Not only was thing a friends and family evening, we had a sick elderly, during the pandemic who was suffering from the discussion. We proceeded to head out of our boats thinking we’d be fine, but no. We had three boats from customers who were furious with us who followed us all our back to Switzerland. At the time they’re kids, teenagers, adults, and grandparents who were scared of what might happen next. I do not suggest this restaurant It was an awful traumatizing experience Safe yourself a trip to this restaurant, because we received terrible customer service and a terrible evening

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. From the moment we got there to the moment we left was a complete disgrace. After we arrived we waited approximately 2 minutes for the head waitress to appear. This was not a problem but with 3-4 staff standing around just looking at us and not lifting a finger to do anything gave the first bad impression. Usually after being seated (in good restaurants) we are asked if we would like something to drink. In this place, nothing. So long prosecco, it would have been nice but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. Upon placing our meal orders we had to ask for the wine list. After looking for a couple of minutes we chose something but when we ordered what we thought would be a carafe of house wine we were told it was by the glass. The waiter then walked off never to be seen again except as he walked by occasionally trying his best to pretend he did not see us. While we were still waiting to order some wine (some 5 minutes) our meals turned up. We just gave up waiting as our waiter never returned. Maybe he just didn’t see us because the beautiful sunshine blinded him. The only good thing I can say about the food was that the steak that I ordered was great. The side dish of grilled vegetables was just warm when it reached us and probably only lukewarm when it left the kitchen. Dry and rubbery is the only way to describe them but it is to be expected with vegetables that were cooked the day before and just reheated. Seeing the other waiters being friendly and interactive with the other guests had us asking ourselves if one of us didn’t shower before we came here. Not once were we asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything to the point I felt like Casper the ghost, invisible. At this point we decided that we would finish our evening with coffee and grappa somewhere else, most notably somewhere that appreciates their customers. When paying the bill we were asked by the cashier (who was incidentally the head waitress) if we had enjoyed our meal. After we said no, not another word was heard from her, no question as to why we didn’t enjoy it, no apologies and not even a goodbye. The poor service and attitudes of the staff coupled with uncertain food quality left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) so that I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant even if the view is superb. If you have read this far, then good for you. I can however recommend the gelateria next door for creamy coffee and great grappa and of course, the all important friendly smiles.
