The Back Porch Bar & Grill

The back porch is one of the most welcoming bars I ever been to. They treat you like family very welcoming, the locals are super friendly owners always go above and beyond with every customer. Best food in Leakey by far and cheapest drinks in town! Highly recommen and family friendly!

Didn't eat here but the bartenders were super personable and fun. Loved the live music

We ordered a cheeseburger, cheese sticks & fried Mac & cheese bites. All 3 came with French fries, which were SOOOO good. Best fries I've had in a long time!! The burger was a double-meat smash burger, which was huge!! Everything was tasty, but the fries & burger were the stars if our meal.

We’ve been coming to Garner for years but we’d never been to The Back Porch & Cosina Grill. We tried it tonight for the first time and it was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend the street corn, the pinto beans, the pickled slaw, and anything with pastor. The bartender was super nice, and so was Bendy/Bindy(?) the Australian Shepard-Corgi mix. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Best place to grab a casual drink, meet friends and relax in town, delicious food and live music or karaoke or just a few locals picking tunes is often available for your entertainment pleasure. Definitely a place to be on Friday nights!

We stayed at the historic leaky inn and we grabbed dinner there, owners and staff were so nice the ambiance was very joyful and relaxing, food was amazing! It was definitely a wonderful experience!

We went for a late lunch and actually were the only ones there, although it is off season. The atmosphere was charming, rustic western. And I've heard good reviews from other guest. The only negative was you order at the counter, they turn the credit card reader so you add a tip, and perhaps it would be best to wait and receive a bigger tip if service is performed and good. I always tip and try to tip well but I didn't particularly like that...although I did it out of respect.The food was okay, no one came for refills, I had to go to counter to get a to go box and you take your own food to trashcan..so a little different .

We probably should have gotten something other than fried food...I wish I had gotten one of their salads which sounded good on the menu.

Rude staff, especially if you aren’t drinking. Food was terrible. Nothing was salted, nothing was even halfway decent. We had 4 in our party and all ordered different things. Pimento and cheese was good, but everything else was super bland and unsatisfying. Was hoping for better.
