During my stay in Leamington Spa, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a wonderful Spanish dining experience. From the croquettes of jamon, and goat cheese and spinash croquettes as well and bread with tomato to the delicious and refreshing deluxe sangria we chose as a starter, we moved on to the appetizers: a delicious scallops with romesco sauce and crisp jamon, and the octopus, both impeccably prepared and presented, a feast for the eyes even before being tasted. For main courses, we ordered a Check of beef in with delicate potatoes purée in a spectacular Merrifield sauce and perfectly grilled duck breast with a lovely carrot purée, txistorra crumble, confit shallots, grilled figs and a pleasant vermouth sauce. We finished the menu with a delicious cheesecake to close with a flourish. The service was attentive and thoughtful, especially from Eli, who suggested the best options and guided us through a wonderful experience. Her is kindness and charisma made us feel right at home. A wonderful and welcoming environment, with details that make all the difference, but that don't overshadow the quality of the food and the flavor that Spanish cuisine should have, as well as the elegant presentation of each dish. Thank you for the experience!

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. This was the first time we visited this Spanish restaurant. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of comfort and elegance. The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and professional. They made us feel very comfortable. The food was excellent - starters came on the right time, as I could enjoy my drink. The selection of cured meats is perfect for dinner date. The main course was absolutely phenomenal. The lamb dish served with a side of gratinated potato was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the attention to detail in both preparation and plating was top-notch. We had a great evening, definitely coming back on our next stay in Leamington.

An absolute Gem in Leamington! Incredible food, gorgeous wine. Brilliant service. Definitely a place for occasions and celebrations. The tomato bread, croquettas, and mains like the fish of the day or meats like Iberico Pork or Duck breast are devine! Highly recommended

Lovely new restaurant in Leamington spa. We had a great dinner with my friends , the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. And the food was nicely presented and very tasty. I am not a big fan of mushrooms, but the croquettes were delicious ! I had the grilled octopus, and it was cooked to perfection. The peppers as a side were sooo tasty. The only downside is the prices , it is quite expensive for the small portion you get... but you can tell is it good quality product. So for the big eater be prepared so spend quite a bit of money , but its worth it. Will be back to try more dishes !

Big Foodie here - as someone who is not usually the biggest fan of octopus I can tell you this was divine, cooked to perfection and was both delicious and tender. I personally had the lamb which was also cooked beautifully and the sauces on the side were excellent. Would have preferred a bit more explanation on what the sauces were but alas the taste made up for it. Wine was v good, though although the waitress was very kind and helpful, her knowledge of the wines was lacking (not a problem but would have liked 2-3 she could have recommended) I’m not a wine nerd, though alas my family does own a wine shop so am partial to a good glass - but could have done with a little more direction as not too familiar with spanish wines. The service otherwise was fantastic with lovely friendly faces and never felt neglected. All round 4.5/5.

We had a really lovely meal here and we’ll definitely return. Food was amazing. Staff were super cool. The atmosphere was friendly. There’s not a lot of tables and we had to wait 2 weeks to get a booking on a Friday so you need to book in advance. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Highly recommended.

We went there for a Sunday lunch and I felt like I was on holiday! The decor is absolutely beautiful (as beautiful as the owner). The food was delicious and we couldn’t rate any dish higher than the other (all delicious). We opted for seafood tapas and ordered the hake, prawns (so juicy and full of flavour), omelette, tuna and prawn salad, octopus and tomato bread. We ended the meal with the brioche and orange desert which was incredible!

A great experience! Very welcoming restaurant with wonderful staff. Service was very quick and the atmosphere felt relaxing and comfortable . The food was delicious and I really liked and recommend the squid with black ink sauce and the cheesecake. Would definitely recommend to others!

Super friendly and personal service at a lovely Spanish restaurant in central Leamington. Good choice of starters, including some Spanish classics were delicious. In such a stylish atmosphere and decor the main courses were the perfect antidote to the generous starters. We enjoyed the tomato on sourdough, the croquettes and Iberian meats. The service is super friendly and we have booked again.

This restaurant is great for special occasions, groups and dates. There are plenty of starters to choose from that can be served as tapas, great for sharing and trying new things. The service and atmosphere were also very nice. The place is small and elegant. We shared a few starters , and I would particularly recommend the octopus, the white asparagus and the mushroom croquettes. Make sure to leave room for dessert as the Basque Cheesecake is outstanding. Bookings, especially for weekends, are required weeks in advance.

This is not about tapas, this is a restaurant. A truly Spanish corner in heart of Leam. From the runny omelette to the croquettes to the rice pudding. If you are familiar with Spanish food you’ll know this is the real thing. Small menu that allows fresh produce and some recipes difficult to find outside Spain. We, Spaniards can tell when it’s good, hope everyone else can as well.

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday treat and I can honestly say it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time, along with the service. The waitress and waiter were very attentive and I really enjoyed how they not only explained the menu, but made a conscious effort to pronounce everything properly. An overall fantastic experience, a hidden gem in Leamington and I’m already trying to find another excuse to go!!

Best spanish food in the area BY FAR! I am Spanish and this is truly authentic cuisine. The cheff is basque and the menu presented food specifically from that region. U can’t not try the scallops, cheesecake, croquettes, pan con tomate, anchiovies and octopus. Excellent food, lovely wine and great enviroment!

Smart and very welcoming The food flavours and presentation were superb. The octopus was excellent and brioche and cheesecake desserts were to die for ! The waitress Eleni was very knowledgeable and a breath of fresh air. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

I visited Baserri last night, I had an incredible experience! The service from Niyara was outstanding, and I would definitely recommend the scallops as they were super tasty. All of the staff were super friendly, in particular the owner Beatriz was especially welcoming, friendly and attentive!

The food was amazing! Everything was full of flavour. The beef was very well cooked and soft and the patatas panaderas were delicious. We knew it was Spanish but only realised it was Basque when we saw a lot of Basque drinks and dishes on the menu. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and will certainly go back!

So lucky to have this fantastic restaurant close by - start to finish, every dish was wonderful. The staff are so cheerful it makes it a real occasion. Highly recommended but make sure you book as it’s very popular.

This Spanish restaurant is a cut above anywhere else in Leamington. We had their excellent tasting menu - everything was delicious and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I couldn’t recommend this place more. It was fantastic: it’s a very cosy atmosphere and fills up very quickly. The servers were attentive and very friendly. We came on a Friday night: the food was superb the scallops were incredible perfectly cooked on a sauce which we needed more of it was to die for we wish we had a whole jug of the sauce. The mains of lamb and beef were fantastic , completely faultless

Rarely do I ever go to a restaurant with high expectations and have them met, Baserri surpassed my expectations completely. I took my family here for dinner and everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was fantastic. Most of their menu is also Gluten-Free, we were so glad to find a restaurant that catered to our needs. Thank you Baserri, see you again soon!

I've been in the UK for almost 4 years, and I have to say this is possibly THE BEST food I've had here in this country. Ordered the octopus, the croquetas and a few other bites and every else was delicious! The Basque Cheesecake was definitely the most delicious cheesecake I've ever had! The atmosphere was also impeccable, and the staff was incredibly friendly! If I could give more than just 5 stars I would! This is 100% going on my list of favorite places.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was brill, we had a great overall experience. It is pricey but you pay for what you get - and we feel it is worth it. The only opportunity would be to add more vegetarian options to the main menu. I don't eat meat and seafood and I struggled to find anything that would be suitable for me. The cheesecake was heaven - must try.

Utterly professional, attentive, friendly service. Calm, relaxed atmosphere. And the food is just flawless. Generous portions without being overwhelming. Flavours, texture, everything… is just lovely.

This is a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. The service and food is top notch which you do pay for, but it’s worth it. We had a mix of starters and mains, finishing with an after dinner drinks. The croquettes, scallops, octopus dishes were excellent as was one of the specials (there were multiple specials on the night to choose from). Never rushed out of the restaurant, but always nicely looked after, this was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in Leamington.

We had the Classics set menu at Baserri and had a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our dietary requirements, the food was delicious, well-presented and portion sizes were spot on, and they have a good selection of wines to go with your meal. It was perfect for our special occasion and I'd highly recommend to others!

We were here with a large party celebrating a wedding. We had the tasting menu which was excellent from start to finish, and they did very well adapting it for us two vegetarians who are allergic to mushrooms! None of the variations they did for us felt like a compromise. Service was warm and friendly and clearly knowledgeable and passionate about the food being served and the selected wines were excellent.

It was a wonderful dinner. My colleagues and I had a very enjoyable evening at this lovely restaurant, which we visited for the first time. Beatriz and the whole staff were really kind and professional.We had the classic menu, and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back. It might be the best in Leamington.

Amazing, authentic Spanish cuisine. We had the 7 course tasting menu for £65 each which was actually good value given the quality and number of dishes. Highlights were the croquettes and the lamb but all of the dishes were excellent. We visited on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was fully seated, I recommend booking or visiting early if you are walking in without a reservation.

We (16 of us) celebrated my son's wedding here in Christmas week. The service was impeccable, the food outstanding and the overall level of customer care and engagement was excellent. An unreserved recommendation from all of us! Thanks.

Lovely food, super service and the restaurant is tastefully decorated inside. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The taster menu is wonderful, well worth a try.

Good very good and obviously constantly changing and adapting which is great to see. When we booked they were getting slammed with customers , but if you should have sufficient staff to cope with prebook demand. Kitchen exception, waiting staff polite , a little experienced, cleaning cutlery is less important than looking after customers. Over a good experience and we would go back for the food , a little thought required staffing . Recommended . Next time I’ll photograph the food to truly show what’s on offer.
