Lots of flavors but the sugar free flavors are bad. The sweeter they use leaves a weird and unpleasant after taste. But really fun atmosphere and great flavors ( not the sugar free ones) would go again.

I took my 6 year old and 2 neighbor boys to Bahama Buck's! Awesome experience!!! So clean, they even have a shelf full of games to play!! What only cost me 11$ ended up being hours of fun!!!!

First time customer but definitely coming back again. I'm so upset there isn't one in Indiana but I've decided to move to Texas so that takes care of that. I tried two different cones today, one was the warhead with Piccadilly and the other is a Blueberry with Piccadilly. Piccadilly is an add on for any snow cone and it contains; chopped pickles, chamoya, chili powder and Lucas salt. I love sour tastes but if you don't, don't add the Piccadilly. I tried so many flavors as I had a few friends that all had different things and I loved the Piccadilly the best but only get it if you love sour things.

I was really unsure about what to order so I asked the manager and he really went above and beyond to help me find something which I enjoyed. I'm pretty sure his name was gage. He truly was friendly and helpful and had a refreshing smile the entire time. Would recommend 10/10.

Bahama Bucks brings me back to my college days in AZ. I used to walk every day to the Memorial Union at Arizona State to get my fill after my dance classes. It's the closest that anyone has come to duplicating shave ice that you can only get in Hawaii. Gotta have the Bahama Rama Mama with the cream on top and the ice cream on the bottom. Perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day or get you even colder on a cold winter day. I've never been disappointed with my purchase.

This is a super fun laid back place with silky smooth shaved ice and LOTS of flavors to choose from. Add a scoop of ice cream at the bottom of your cup and/or get cream on top or go plain. It smells amazing inside of BB and GoPro videos of surfing, skiing, and other extreme sports are always playing. The décor is very beachy with fun colors, surf boards & beach signage as well as driftwood style wood. Grab a friend, a shaved ice and borrow a game like banana grams or UNO from the game cabinet to play while you eat. If it's really busy inside you may want to consider using the drive thru so you can get your shaved ice quicker. Check it out! :-D

This is nice little cute dessert shop with lots of variety of dessert and shaved ice. Located right across leander high school on Bagdad. Ample parking, safe neighborhood. Nearby stores include Domino's pizza.

My kids love coming here and the customer service is always nice. They are patient with you while you choose what you want to drink. They do have a lot of flavors and combos. I love getting my natural coconut.

Drinks are good per usual but unfortunately our cover on the drink wasn't secured properly. As soon as I grabbed the drink the top shot off and spilled everywhere. We were sitting in the store and unfortunately when we asked to get it topped off cause half the drink spilled, we were not offered any assistance. The gentleman just said, "That would mean I would need to make another one" then he walked away. Would really have appreciated not losing half my $8 drink instantly

The best shaved ice. So smooth, due to the machine they use for shaving the ice. They also sell it separately to have your own snowball fight in Texas. The flavor variety is amazing. The sour flavors are sour!!! Be careful :) Occasionally they are a bit under syrupped but all you have to do is bring it back up and they fix it perfectly! (After all they can’t see inside the ice, they’re doing their best) Highly recommend red raspberry and strawberry :)

They were pretty busy when I arrived, the drive thru was at least seven cars long and most of the tables inside were full. They saw me at the counter very quickly though, and were patient with me looking over the menu as it was my first time there. It's a bit of a drive for me but totally worth it-- I have a feeling I'll be back here a lot on hot days this summer!

So delicious! Got a Lava Flow - it's not on the menu but I had it in Hawaii and they made it up for me. It's basically a pina colada with strawberry in it. Made me feel like I was back on the Big Island until the very last sip. The young man taking the orders and making them up or polite and courteous. The inside of the shop is immaculate and has plenty of seating. I visited on a cold day in October but they still had a steady stream of customers. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Texas.

Great place to go to cool down, especially on Saturdays in the summer. Open everyday except Sunday, which is the most days I want to go. Good nearby, has restrooms, even a drive through, and is next to a school so if I could, I'd love to go after school.

Really what is there to say? It's flavored ice! We get the party pack for parties and add some "adult beverages" to it, spectacular! Everyone is always nice and seems like they are in good moods. We are talking about teens so this is a big deal!

Overall: great Pros: Open late, tons of choices (including things other than snowcones but who doesn't want a snowcone?!), ice is shaved just right so it's perfectly soft, their spoons change color! Cons: Not a little mom & pop stand - I know, I know... this is just an issue of nostalgia, but I hate that we don't have those nearby! Worth mentioning: They're a little heavy handed with the syrup. For some of you this will be great news! I prefer to not have to drink the last 1/3 of my snowcone, so I should tell them to go a bit easy. We LOVE Bahama Bucks! The owners and staff are super friendly. Bahama Bucks offer more than just snow cones too. They have everything you need to stay cool and earn those “cool mom/dad points” with your kiddos. Try their smoothies, Bahama Mama Ramas (snow cone + ice cream), and other yummy items. I almost forgot… be sure to take your furbabies with you when you order at the drive thru, and order a pup-cup (tiny snowball with or without whipped topping) for your furbabies. Highly Recommend!

Was really good. Probably the Best Sugar Free Flavors have tried anywhere. Got Jamaican Punch and Super Sour Jungle Berry with sugar free tropic cream, cream was a little gritty but still good. Kids loved there customs flavors and wife got hers with ice cream added and she loved it. The ice is very fine compared to a lot of local places, really enjoyed. None of the employees wear mask if that bothers you or concerned, I'm immunosuppressed heart transplant patient and avoided going inside but my wife went in masked to order. Employees wear very friendly she said and they wiped everything down including cups with sanitized towel so very safe.

Yum yum, didnt know we had one near us! A blast from Arizona that we missed.

While driving to Bahama Buck’s snow cones this afternoon, I had run over a piece of debris in the road. By the time my kiddo and I ate snow cones and came back outside my tire had gone completely flat. The owner of Bahama Buck’s walked us outside and generously offered to change the tire. With my husband en route from cross town, the owner of Bahama Bucks, worked in 100 degree heat to get us up and running again. Thank you, good Sir, for your kindness and help today. You helped tremendously with our car, but even more with my faith that there ARE good, kind, people in this world. AND the snow cones were absolutely amazing!!! We will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely delicious. The staff was super courteous and helpful. With a wide array of flavors, pre made concoctions, or customized flavors there is literally a combo for anyone. Large portions and paper umbrellas complete the order in a Bahama style fashion. Definitely a nee go to spot on the map.

Best way to cool off from the Texas heat. Friendly, fast, and delicious shaved ice store. They even have no flavor snow balls for sale, which is a big hit with our pups!

We went with a large party so got to try different flavors. My favorite was Pina colada. Two of us had the complain of less flavor towards the bottom of the cup, but they did fix it once it was brought to their attention. Overall, we really liked it!

Better experience this time. Way better than last. 05/2020: Jeez, what happened to Bahama Bucks! This place used to be a great, but my last visit a couple of weeks ago was terrible. The guy who worked the drive-thru was extremely rude and didn't say anything to us. He just put his hand out for the card. It would have been nice if they were washing their hands or even wearing a mask with this Covid. A smile and a thank you goes a long way! Disappointed! Previous post 2019: This one of the better tasting snow cones places. This place is always packed which is a great thing. So many combinations of flavors and add-ons. Nice place that's clean. Being across from Leander High this place is usually buzzing with kids. If I want a very sweet cold fix in the Texas heat however, this really hits the spot. Drive Thru is usually pretty busy so prepare to wait in a line. A small size is plenty for me with the mountain ice top they add. If you will be driving while eating, you may want to opt for a flat top instead.

Definitely go there for the shaved ice! I get the mango and pineapple and then top it with Chamoy, chili salt, and pickles. It reminds me of some of the sweet/savory Mexican snacks that I’d eat growing up. Anything outside of their shaved ice would come with mixed reviews, such as the açaí bowl, which my wife has ordered on multiple occasions and they’ve messed it up probably every time. It’s not a huge issue, since I don’t expect much from a place that specializes in shaved ice (you wouldn’t order a burger at a Mexican restaurant, right?) It seems like they employ local high schoolers who are always very respectful and do a fantastic job.

I loved Bahama Bucks in Arizona, and am glad they came here. I will say though, that with the homestyle vanilla, instead of a vanilla bean ice cream, it's a bit too sweet for me now. Maybe I just became an adult...

Always delicious and the staff is always friendly, but expect to wait a long time. They have a great variety. One of my children only gets ice cream. They also have sugar free, fat free options.

This is definitely the best place I've ever had a sno cone. Love that they let you sample flavors before you buy one. However, the past couple of times I've gone I felt like I was just paying for ice. Guess I'll have to start asking for extra syrup.

Best snow cones around. I recommend the mini size even though it looks super tiny because they top it real high. The small I can never finish. I also like the princess flavor.

Bright and clean interior with seating for groups in booths or at tables. Wide selection of ice treats in various sizes and flavors. The small portion is actually pretty large...tykes need only a Baby Size probably. We enjoyed several different flavors and all were delicious and looked fun, a nice presentation. Only two issues which are 1. Very busy and a substantial wait for the treats, with a consistent line in the driveway/drive thru. We sat inside but staff was hard pressed to keep up. 2. Prices are reasonable but not inexpensive so be careful if you have a bunch of kiddos. Overall, I think it's fun, treats are delicious and I recommend and will be back.

First visit to a Bahama Buck's. One Direction and Harry Styles playing while we were there. I got birthday cake and my daughter ordered Strawberry with Nerds. Mine came with colored sugar sprinkles which I would've declined if they asked me if I wanted them. Aside from that it was a good experience. Very smooth shaved ice! Daughter noticed they added the flavor in layers. The small was too large for both of us to finish. Was a bit pricey- over $10 for the two smalls.

3 stars for presentation ... I really wanted to love this ... Now, We only had sugar free options. And it was just ok. Not sure if they didn't use enough syrup, or if they just pressed too much in this cup but does "dry snow cone" sound right? That's only way I can describe what that was. It got better as it melted, but didn't have much flavor for a 2 flavor mix... I'll try again sometime....

First time customer here. I walked in yesterday afternoon. As I was looking over their menu I happened to notice one of their staff preparing several snow cones for people in the drive through, after he poured the flavored syrup he ran the snow cones under the faucet water. This would probably explain the watered down flavor some of you have experienced.

As much as I enjoy this place, avoid the drive through. 2 cars ahead of me and it probably took 10-15 minutes to get through. when I was sitting at the window I could see 4-6 workers behind the counter. one guy was slicing limes, at around 1/2 a lime a minute. It baffled me that he could cut limes so slowly. the other 4 were just standing around while one girl was making the orders at the snow cone machine. I got one sno then she went to work on my next one. I got the second one but there was an issue with the first. She fixed it perfectly, so I'm grateful there. She seemed like the only hard worker behind the counter. either get more machines so you can have multiple people making the sno cones or something.

The kids working here like to screw around behind the counter - whipping each other with towels and such. But whatever, they're just serving snow-cones. Prices here make you question your sanity for a cup of ice, but the texture is very unique. Very smooth ice with oddly-accurate flavoring. Get the cream on top. You won't regret that. If you ask for "light syrup" make sure that there isn't raw ice halfway through your cup.

I absolutely love my frozen lemonade when it’s as soft as a cloud, unfortunately it’s a hit and miss! I’ve also once been told by an employee that “we do what we can” 🤷🏿‍♀️There has got to be a technique used to guarantee the same consistency every visit! When my drink is made correctly, it’s heavenly!

My first visit was amazing. Been coming back for awhile. I really love the business model - give kids a chance at a first job, some responsibility, autonomy. But the product quality ought to be consistent. Today’s order (likely my last) wasn’t accurate and see how much ‘settling’ one did versus the other. Took five kids an extra ten minutes beyond when your website said my online order was supposed to be ready, and there were two cars in line and no one in the shop besides me. I’ve had previous orders where the syrup was only on the top and I had more than half a cup of plain snow. Might I suggest having one adult supervise at all times?

I normally wouldn't comment, but my children and I were left baffled by the attitude of the young lady at the drive-thru. She was short, didn't greet me back, acted as if us being there had ruined her life.

Great snow cones, filthy floor and tables. They don't clean well enough for a store that sells sugar syrup. Staff is snotty and rude, but they have delicious snow cones.

GREAT Product! But the children need supervision. They weren't paying attention, getting orders wrong, slowing the progress, etc. Also, my wife's pina colada had broken glass in it. We will be taking the bits of it to the manager and perhaps this can be avoided in the future. We hope she doesn't have digestive issues coming.

I ordered my snow cones one at a time to avoid confusion and to avoid mixing flavors. Instead the flavors still got mixed up (i.e wedding cake and bubblegum) like come on. I order another single flavor because my daughter isn’t a fan of the wedding cake and bubblegum mix. Then I’m told to order one at a time because it was my fault there was a confusion and I was getting the snow cone for free. Two problems with that. I did in fact order one at a time and I had already paid for the snow cone after the mix up so how was it free.

I recently had a craving for a Bahama Rama Mama, with strawberry cheesecake sno and chocolate ice cream (I'm 7 months into my pregnancy). So, I decided to satisfy this craving with my 3 adopted children (I'm a single mother) and go to the drive thru. We order, and when we receive our order, my Bahama Rama Mama is in a cup, no lid, filled above the brim. Perhaps they were assuming that I would eat it in my car in the parking lot, but I was already nearly late for volunteering at the soup kitchen (I serve there every night). I assumed that it wouldn't melt too much, since obviously if they trusted to give it to me in my car, then surely the cup had plenty of room for any melting that would occur on my drive. We drive off and what do you know? It starts melting. Everywhere. All over everything. I was already tired from my 12 hour shift at the veterinary hospital(I'm the one who holds the hands/paws of the pets when they're euthanized), and so this melting debacle really sent me over the edge. I pulled over and cried. I lied. None of that is true. I'm a 22 year old man. I'm neither pregnant, nor even a woman. I don't have those jobs, nor those 3 adopted children. Imagine if I was, though. Bet you would feel bad then. The Bahama Rama Mama thing really did happen, though. I would've given 1 star, but I'm kinda over it already.

I order though drive thur a pickle juice snow cone with tiger blood and Piccadilly Topping with mango pieces and my snow cone wasn’t fill all the way like it usually is I order this a lot and they always fill the cup up with ice like it shows on the picture on the wall please make my order better next time

The cashier was nice. Another person made my order. I ordered a 16-ounce strawberry cheese cake and white coconut shaved ice. I got 2 small spoon, full down, and hit nothing but shaved ice. Not enough flavor added. Top was halfway done. It was diffently not worth the money I paid for it. This is the 2nd time this month. I went to this location, and they seem not to really care if the product is done or taste properly.

Been coming here forever, disappointed today. If y’all don’t have change I don’t think the customer should be the one that loses money. And saying “we don’t have enough change so your change is gonna be short, have a nice day.”

Every time I went there they screwed up the orders. The place is pricey for the kind of treats they make and it always takes loooong time to get the order ready. I do not recommend this place for a simple shaved ice treat.

Before COVID I would have given them five stars- I love Bahama Bucks- but now I must warn people that they do not wear face masks- from the person taking the order less than two feet from your face and then touching you and your credit card as well as the person in the drive through handing you food as well as the people making your food and breathing all over it while doing so! They are not protecting the public from an employee who could have it and not know it and spread it! Shop at your own risk! I know I won’t be going back!!!

So today I pulled up to Bahama Bucks off of S. Baghdad in Leander and uh, the lines were long, and it was blazing hot. I’ve visited Bucks numerous times, but today, I saw something that officially had me blazing hotter than the 102 degree temperature outside. So, there was an employee outside taking orders with a tablet, no tent, no water, and no shade whatsoever. For the little change that I assume he’s making, there is no reason why this child should’ve been outside like that with nothing over his head shielding him from the sun, and no water to keep him hydrated. Makes me really wonder what kind of operation is really being run here!

The worst snow cone I had ever had. Too much syrup, and the flavor was very chemically. The staff were nice and it was a good environment, but that doesn't do much when we both took a couple bites and then proceeded to place them directly into the trash.

I ordered a shaved ice in the flavor I always get!! Once I got past the top, it tasted bitter..Definitely didn't taste like the flavor I ordered..So I called (5 times until they answered)and no manager on duty someone that was the highest ranking person got on the phone.. I told him the problem and he said he would go taste it himself... Did not offer me a replacement or anything... So that was a waste of 5 dollars...NOT AGAIN!!

We came through drive thru right now 10:20pm we order a snow cone and a wavy blender our wavy blender was water down didn’t even taste like it usually does and we come here a lot then the person who handed us our drinks didn’t even say have a good night he gave us like a mad ugly look and everyone there seem like it was so hard to make 2 simple drinks

SO TERRIBLE. I paid for a snow-cone but somehow received a slushie version instead. Whatever flavors I asked for were not present. What a mess. They apparently placed the snow-cone in a large cup because the original cup was leaking so they just tossed it all together? How is this the answer?

We made an order over 30 minutes ago online and it’s still not ready. Cars are coming and going in the drive through line and we are still waiting for our order. This is ridiculous. I sat here and watched people walk in and get their orders before ours even though we ordered online 30 minutes ago.

We went to this establishment last night(6/8) Not sure what they did with their Tigersblood, but it was terrible!! They mentioned it had cinnamon flavor in it. Did you guys change the recipe?? Because it's just nasty now! Will not be there anymore!

I literally never write negative reviews but felt after two poor encounters, it was necessary. I have attempted this location twice now since moving so far away from the Round Rock location. The first time it was myself, husband and three of our children to dine in. We spent over $50 just for everyone of our sno cones to be little more than dry and almost flavorless shaved ice. Figured it was just a one off so I went thru the drive thru myself today and experienced the same quality of sno cone-dry and very little flavor for $8. So sad about the poor quality especially since I live in Liberty Hill and have driven here twice just to be disappointed. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

I just learned that kids that work here make 8$ an hour. If that is true, it is shameful. Pretty much one order pays for one kid whole hour salary. These people who own franchises should be ashamed of them self making huge profit on kids. What u can buy today for $8. Not even meal at mc Donald's, unbelievable.... It's truly the worst representation of Bahama bucks I have seen. Trash out front, and the syrup was not fully coating all four of the snow cones that were ordered. Typically, I am served with above and beyond service, plenty of extra sugar and cinnamon on my sugar cookie snow cone in several layers, but not here. Will not be visiting these incompetent teenagers to complete my order again.

Today I ordered 2 bowls of açaí, one with just the açaí (because I don’t like the toppings), and a second bowl with açaí, strawberries, and granola. Instead they gave me a half bowl of açaí and then a bowl with ONLY the strawberries and granola..no açaí! And charged me $22. Just make sure they get your order right before leaving.
