The place is small and cozy, and the service is fantastic. We ordered one of the set menus, and everything was delicious; there was plenty of food. By the time we got to the rice, we were a little full. They could improve the desserts.

Here, you can get an excellent 6-course Menu del Dia consisting entirely of fish for €20 per person. The quality of the fish is top-notch and very fresh. We've been here several times, most recently two years ago. We still remembered the great food and therefore became repeat customers.

Although the bar inside is quite small, the food is very good, and for us, the service is exceptional. They served us lunch at 5 p.m. without a reservation, helping us find a shady spot on the terrace. It's true that the service wasn't very fast between courses, but at that hour and after all the food they'd provided, it's forgivable. The seafood was delicious, and the seafood paella was spectacular. The menu at 25 euros plus drinks was very well priced, considering the number of dishes they serve and the paella portions. They even gave us some leftovers, and they gave you a container to take with you. Despite the hours they were working and the heat, the service was very friendly. They deserve my 5 stars, and I recommend it for a beachfront meal.

Excellent seafood - simple menu but great variety of seafood - particularly shellfish. When asked the owner was very happy to make a vegetarian dish with rice for 2 of our party. Great value!

Great food. If you like seafood and fish and you don't want to spend a fortune, this is the place. Great menús with a great variety of starters and paella or fish as Main course. Food was just delicious. Staff was kind and although service was a bit slow as they weren't expecting so many customers, the waiter was very friendly and kind. Thanks for the Great meal our family had here. My kids also enjoyed the food a lot.

Disponen de varios menús a diferentes precios para adaptarse a cualquier bolsillo. Todas las tapitas muy ricas y el arroz muy gustoso. Un vino blanco de la casa fresquito y perfecto para acompañar. Los buñuelos (caprichos, les dicen) de bacalao absolutamente deliciosos.

El servicio a estado aceptable, variedad de pescado y marisco medio / alto. El precio también entra dentro de lo normal ... Estando a 1 línea del mar... Menu 35 euros( cafes, pan y postre,( Vino a parte). El arroz con bogavante espectacular salían unos dos/ tres platos por persona. El único inconveniente es el local ( un poco pequeño). Por lo demás es aceptable

Fuimos recomendados y la verdad que el trato genial. Aunque la velocidad en el servicio bastante justa. Desde que empezamos a comer hasta que llegaron los postres pasaron tres horas de reloj. El postre también muy flojo, no iba acorde con el resto del menú. Mejorando estos dos aspectos sería de 10!

El Faro, un restaurante pequeño y muy cercano con el cliente, somos una familia de Torredembarra que aprovechamos cualquier ocasión para hacer parada en este restaurante, pero hoy despues de dos años que venimos bastante, nos a sorprendido pero para mal, bastante mal. Nos daba igual el local, mas envejecido, mas pequeño pero tenía esa familiaridad que otros no tienen, por no hablar de sus menús, ya no critoco la subida de precio por es ley de vida, pero han cambiado el menú por completo, ya no comes a la plancha, ahora es todo en salsa, además salsa dulce que no tenía sentido con el marisco, la cantidad es menor en cada plato, en los 5 primeros el sabor es el mismo, hervido con laurel y en el resto, una salsa de tomate que deja sabor dulce al marisco. La paella sin mas cuando antes era un 10 siempre, en fin, que aparte de subir el precio han cambiado la forma de cocinar el menú, ya no merece la pena volver en estas ocasiones tan lejos para algo que ahora si podemos encontrar mas cerca de casa, eso sí....el trato con Susana no ha cambiado en absoluto, para ella algo mas complicado a parte de trabajar, tiene que escuchar las repetidas quejas de clientes diferentes sobre el menu nuevo, asi que espero que pronto vuelva a ser lo que fue hace unos meses.

THREE KEY FAILURES THAT RUIN A PROMISING EXPERIENCE. Personal opinion after a first visit I went to the restaurant El Faro de la Gema following the recommendation of her mother, Casa Lupe. The menu revolves around two main courses: one for €30 with porcini rice and another for €35 with lobster. In my opinion, this restaurant could have been close to a 10 in every respect, but for three key reasons it falls short. Therefore, my rating is 3 stars. 1. It lacks a basic welcome tapa I miss some simple tapas to start with, such as bravas, all i oli, homemade croquettes, or simply pa de coca amb tomàquet. This type of starter creates a pleasant start and is common in the area. 2. Unevenness in the Dishes I found the mussels, prawns, and especially the fried fish (with squid and baby squid) to be very good. However, the clams and razor clams were bland. The porcini rice, although original, doesn't fit with the seafood setting of Les Cases or the rest of the menu. Furthermore, the cooking time and texture weren't right: the broth was too clear, lacking the smoothness or flavor expected from good rice of this type. It felt more like boiled rice than creamy rice. 3. Uncomfortable seating and lack of intervention This was, without a doubt, the most unpleasant point. We had a table in front of us with two elderly couples who placed their chairs literally right next to my wife and son, invading their personal space without the slightest hesitation. They didn't give an inch, and it was obvious they were too wide, as they even had to lean forward to reach items on their table. When my family left and I was already at the bar paying, I clearly heard these people say: > "We could be a little wider now, they've left." A nasty and miserable comment, which I didn't hesitate to rebuke them. This type of situation shouldn't happen if the restaurant manager were more attentive to the comfort of all diners. It's not just about serving good food, but also about maintaining the atmosphere and respect between tables. > A good shrimp is just as important as feeling comfortable while eating it. --- Conclusion I recommend the restaurant take note of these observations, which are intended solely to contribute from experience and respect. Disappointing lobster paella menu. The starters were okay, but the rice was overcooked and tasteless; it was the closest thing to boiled rice I've ever had. We don't understand how something like that could be served.

Es una pena poner esta calificación, es inhumano lo que han hecho, reserva para 6 adultos, 3 niños y 1 bebé y al final comida en la terraza, todo perfecto, día perfecto pero trato al cliente pésimo, mucho calor y no fueron capaces de levantar una de las cortinas (hasta que nos enojamos y entramos a quejarnos con la dueña ya que la camarera que atendió la mesa le decíamos y pedíamos levantar la cortina y siempre ponía excusas que desde arriba tenía la orden de que no podía, inhumano con 3 niños y 1 bebé tenernos más de 1 hora con calor y los niños irritados) para que corriera el aire, no es aceptable ya que tenían Justo al lado de nuestra mesa un par de meses cubiertas por una sombrilla. La comida no tiene peros, a excepción de algún fallo en la comanda (ejemplo. Pedir el arroz con bogavante y sacar arroz con gambas, que al final no es culpa de la cocina sino de la camarera que hacía de jefa de sala ya que muy graciosa y atenta pero deja mucho que decir al trato por faltarle SENTIDO COMÚN). Al final a aquellos que quieran comer mariscos pero estar dispuestos a ser atendidos de manera pésima está recomendado 100%, a los que tenemos/tienen un poco de dignidad NO VISITAR ESTE RESTAURANTE.
