The food was good. I go here every now and then with my friends. I recommend trying the French fries and Mcflurry combo, it's really good.
I went through the drive-thru to order my meal it was quick fast and easy. I do have to say that the prices were quite high I wasn't expecting to pay almost $30 for fast food for two meals. Other than that it was great the food was hot it was tasty and I would go back again but I definitely would order from the value meal menu.
I loved this location. The food was hot! We pulled up and received our meals expeditiously, and without have to re-re-repeat myself a hundred times. Everyone was super hygienic and professional. It's more than just s job, to them...I could tell. Their devotion to their job and customer service, flooded the drive-thru cashier Window, as waves of gratitude and professionalism dashed upon the sunbathed rocks of their pick up window. It was like having a small stand-in But... don't take my word for it. Go to this location...I know you're going to love their piping hot meals, and the warm friendly faces beaming behind tight fitted masks . I could tell. Their smiles were hidden but genuine. Toodle-loo, my darlings.
Compared to other drive thru McDonald's this one is the most reliable one in the local area. I waited 25 minutes at the Springfield Blvd. before I made a mental bet that I'd be in and out in 5 min at the Northern Blvd. Guess what it took 3 min. They are the best at Northern Blvd.
Remodeled restaurant that has a nice modern look. I believe faster service due to automated ordering.

This location has easily got to be one of the best McDonald’s in all of North America! I always order the same thing (#3 no pickles with a Sprite) but the consistency of how good everything is (including the Sprite) really blows me away. I wish every McDonald’s was as good and consistent as this location. Must try!
McDonald's offers a convenient and efficient ordering process, along with excellent service and a welcoming staff. I recently purchased two cheeseburgers, medium French fries, and a mocha frappe, which cost an additional $2.70. The staff promptly delivered my order. The total cost for the two cheeseburger meal and mocha frappe was $15.11, which seems quite reasonable. It is unfortunate that the paper straw's quality diminished so rapidly.
They renovated. Very nice. The only downfall for us is no playground!!! We loved it for so many years. Outdoors. Enjoyable for my kids and then grandson.
It was nice to bring the clean, cool, and Eat in order directly to the table. You have to go pick up the napkin yourself, and if you skip the sauce and ask for it again, they will give it to you. Seeing the kids play outside on the jungle gym brought back so many childhood memories with my dad. I havent had McD's in well over 2 years.... Seems like not too much has change. The fries will always be nasty once they are cold.
This place is a perfect example of All employees aren't equal. Had a wonderful experience with one employee and a terrible experience with another. As far as this location itself goes: it is easy to get to. It has breakfast 24 hours and they will give you a big cup of ice for only 50 cents.
I stopped by the McDonalds on Northern Boulevard near Little Neck Parkway. I was hungry from earlier Doctors appointments. I ordered two Sausage McMuffins with Egg, also an Extra Large Seltzer Water to Drink. I Parked and went inside to order. The restaurant was clean and in well ordered. The service from the employees was exemplary. The food order came out fairly rapidly. The food that I ordered was Hot Fresh and cooked properly. I Sat down the tables and floors were clean. I would certainly return to this location due to the service quality of the food and the cleanliness of this location.
the food is great! if you want a quick bite, you should come here. it does get a bit busy after school hours, but the service is good. one thing is the bathrooms are gross, the sink sprays out tons of water and there is paper all over the floor.
(Revised review, my old review is below) I gave my local Mcdonald's a second shot after the new renovations had been completed. Yes, I do miss the old Mcdonald's layout and style only because I had seen it for over 40 years. But I must say this newly renovated McDonald's is soooo much better. They made it smaller but not in a bad way, have some outdoor seating, changed the kitchen location, and modernized the whole place. Have kiosks (think 6 in total) all over that even accept cash and give change which some other McDonald's don't even have yet. The one thing I wish is that they have, and maybe they do, is someone dedicated to helping older guests who might have some trouble with the kiosks if they don't go to the register (yes, they still have one) but otherwise, it was delightful and my food was good. I will be returning. It's been a staple of the community for as long as I have lived there (40+years). Used to be the only McDonald's for surrounding areas. Not anymore, biggest reasons for low score is food is NEVER hot, I have complained and complained with no change. They seem to be technologically advanced but not to the level of other stores I've visited. At other stores I have visited, I always enjoyed being able to order at a kiosk. This McDonald's doesn't have any kiosks.
Food is more hit than misses, out of the few dozen times I've gone through. Avoid 4:30-6am weekdays, as it seems like they are always having issues with their computer, credit card machines, etc at this time. I now skip this one during those times because it happened 5 times. Service is generally ok, but the pickup line/mobile order is very disorienting. You see your order sitting there yet nobody will acknowledge you. Their layout is a different than other McDonald's, and has a wider counter area. Nuggets and fries are best on weekends in my opinion.

Food was good/fresh, but for being the only person on line it was quite slow. Probably just between batches of fries, but also service at the drive through intercom was slow too. All in all a decent experience, just wish it was a tad bit quicker.

This was truly a disappointment of a visit to McDonald's. It's my first time at this location. The premises was overall clean and modern looking. I took my food to go. Average wait time, nothing special. What was extremely disappointing was the entire meal. I order the spicy crispy chicken sandwich combo with a HiC orange drink. The sandwich was a complete mess in the pouch like they shoved it in unevenly and half the spicy sauce remained inside the pouch. The chicken was soggy as well as the bread like from a soup kitchen or worse. The orange drink was dyed water. Nasty! The only thing that was ok were the fries but they weren't hot and fresh but ok. Got cold very quickly. I also ordered the KitKat banana split McFlurry and when the counter person poured the vanilla ice cream she spoke in her language to her coworker and showed her something about the ice cream they both shrugged and I couldn't tell why they did this until I left the restaurant. It was melted coming out of the machine already. So when I put the spoon in it I had to eat it like a soup.
I hadn’t been to this McDonald’s in quite a while, so I was surprised to see the new building. Unfortunately, the redesign feels less welcoming and looks more like a plain brown rectangular box. It has no characters and no charm. Inside, there’s no sense of being greeted or welcomed in; now that everything is hidden behind a wall. The food was ok, i can’t complain since it is Mcdonald’s.
— Update July 2025 — The nostalgia of McDonalds is gone! Replaced by the new cookie cutter brick building they have everywhere now. New building has no character, last one had a family feel with playground where schools in the area also did fundraisers. Now none of that, barely any tables to eat in. Door on the side is no longer available, either come in from Northern Blvd or from the side at the start of the drive thru. Also exit for cars loops them around the building no more getting off at Marathon since parking lot entrance is one way now. Also not sure how they were able to but it seems parking lot is reduced or tighter. This is one way to knock of character of the previous McDonald building. It is a shame McDonalds is pushing this style for all locations given that in this area they actually had the space for the playground. Also they put outdoor seating at the worst location in my opinion in front of northern blvd so people there can get the pollution from cars, the noise all while they eat. The worst renovation and little seating area. Like others have said they want people to get their food and go! The cashiers just don't listen. Just the fact that they have a promotion like 2 for 5 don't mean that I would like to eat more! I may understand the cashier may assume people would want more for less. But when it comes to my stomach, I think I have a choice and not wasting food
Food is consistent, mobile order works great when it works. Staff changes very frequently and some staff does not know how to find mobile order. Be aware when you are doing mobile/credit card order in early morning (like 3-4AM when they do their transaction settlement), they are likely not able to process it so bring some cash.
$6.89 for just a “Big Mac” which is much smaller than before that there’s lots of empty space in the container. Dined in and the tables are super dirty. Saw an employee walking by with a rag asked her to please wipe the table she first tossed me the rag. Am I suppose to do it myself? Then she thought for a sec and took rag back and wiped twice, pretty much missed most of the table. It’s no wonder McD is in trouble with their finances and dwindling customers.

Newly re-designed building is awful... caters to the drive through business rather than the local residents and families who used to have ample space to sit inside and enjoy a meal. Gone is the outdoor playground which attracted the families with young children. Gone is the space for indoor dining. Their business will suffer during the cold months to come.

They removed a ton of sitting space, have 5 self ordering kiosks now, and three drive through windows where about 500 sq ft of space is wasted. No menu on the wall, no register employees, not a good vibe anymore to enjoy your meal. The parking lot has less spots and random concrete outcroppings reducing traffic flow too. All and all a horrible redo.

Terrible service at this location. The slowest “fast food” restaurant you can find. On an average they took 30 minutes to serve my food, on top of that they refuse to serve you at times. Advertising the franchise as a 24/7 drive through, but denied service at 3am. Even if served, they’re cold food most of the time.

McDonalds on Northern Blvd. in Little Neck: Last 4 times I was here they were out of something, I typically waited 10 minutes or more to have my order taken when there were only one or two people ahead of me, and waited 15-20 minutes for a small simple order to be filled. The eggs were overcooked and had green yolks. Not only is it the worst food McDonalds offers, it's slow, slow, slow, especially for "fast food."

Drive-through was packed decided to go inside. Had to get somebody’s attention in order to take my order as there was nobody at the counter, but 20 people working in the back. Finally got my order taken and waited a good 20 minutes for my food. So then be given just a patty and two buns when I ordered a quarter pounder with no cheese. Went back inside to let them know that this is not what I ordered. Please teach the employees here manners and how to comprehend english. They were wild rude and then completely messed my order up even after i double checked with them. Where do I start...they took away the iconic playground screwing families with kids, parking lot got smaller. In order to create more thru traffic for drive thru revenue it ate into the seating area, making it very cramped for indoor dining. I bet the owner made a large office suite for herself along with a conference room in there! The workers are useless, service non existent its all help yourself via kiosks. People waiting for pickup orders literally hover over you if you foolishly choose to eat inside (ofcouse this was all by design). Food is never fresh, burgers getting smaller, prices getting out of control. Lots of people have complained. The owner owns at least 3 mcd in the area and she does not care! The message is abundantly clear, get you food and get the hell out! Hey at least you get free small fries for every $100 you spend!
If I could give this 0 I would. I ordered through drive thru. Super Basic order: 2 cheese burgers and 10 piece nuggets. The first mistake I noticed was that I wasn’t even given the 10 piece nuggets. So I turned around and went inside to get them. And then to my surprise, they gave me some precious orders cheese burger. So someone ordered a cheese burger and didn’t want it. So they gave it to me instead. Perfect. I don’t even know when this was made and tossed aside to be given to me. Completely different ticket number too. For all I know, the sandwich was made 2-4 hours ago. Just tossed it by the time I got home from my double trip.
It is a DoorDash order. I ordered 20 nuggets and 3 Sweet and Sour sauce. But No sweet and sour sauce offered. No straw. And reject to refund. It is a terrible experience.
Be ready to end up waiting forever for your food if you do pickup inside whether its mobile app or instore order. Always go thru drive thru if you can because they forced to give you your food to keep the line moving. Otherwise be ready to appear invisible to these people. And always check your bag.
Hot cake were hard to eat Eggs were terrible. Coffee was terrible. Manager had a attitude. Had to ask for napkins and jelly. I had to ask for my money back. I will never eat here again and I will recommend it this place close down.
Worst McDonalds ever. Ordered through the mobile app for curbside pickup. Seems like drive thru is faster. Should have just went through drive thru instead. Nobody seems to be tending to the curbside pickup. Went inside to inquire & told that it’ll be another 6-10 min. Told to come back into the store. What’s the point if curbside pickup and ordering through the app then. Wish the I could see the time I ordered the food on the app. I believe it will be more than 30 min. Would give zero stars if I could.

Put in a curbside order but no one brought it out after a long wait and the order number on my phone already disappeared like it would after they've delivered it. So I ended up having to go up to check on my order but the doors were locked tonight, not sure why, so I had to get my order through the drive thru window. When I got home, I noticed it was missing a sandwich and the dipping sauces. I didn't bother going back since I was home already. Not happy with the service.
I am writing to the management and let you know my frustration on 12/9/2021 at 5:15 pm. The girl took care the drive through refusing to give me the amount, just kept telling me drive around. What's so secret about? Isn't that my right to know it? That's another sample of terrible service in the review. A mouse drop in a tasty soup.
I agree with the bad reviews here. Don't order through the app for in store pickup, you will be ignored. All the orders that were placed in store all got their orders first. The drive thru is also better than picking up inside. At least in the drive you, they have to give you your order when you drive up to the window so you're guaranteed you get your food in the correct order. When picking up inside these worker pick and choose who they want to serve first. Very dirty as well. Tables, chairs, floors are disgusting. No one ever cleans.
Ridiculous renovation. The place is terrible now. Corporate greed has taken over. Playground was removed, far too little seating, and no happiness. Just close this place back down please.

Sorry Kris to copy your review, buy you got all the points: HORRIBLE RENOVATION. The dining area is so small now and they made the kitchen area UNNECESSARILY LARGE. While you are waiting for you order you are in everyone’s way that is eating which is very disrespectful to the people trying to eat while u have tons of people leaning on the back of the seats of customers. Also the way to order is like 5 machines (no more cashiers) also very squeezed together with the dinning room and the people waiting for their food PLUS THE DOORS BEING ON EACH ENDS. Overall just so disappointed that they changed such a great design that had PLENTY of room for people to order, wait, and eat without being all on top of each other. Oh and on the hottest day you would expect the ac to be on HIGH but nope heard multiple people complain about how low the ac was.
Just passed by and got some nuggets for the kids. The Hispanic lady at the front desk was so rude! After I paid, she turned to around and to get the order. As she was getting the order, she was whispering to her coworker and her coworker looked at me and laughed. So when the Hispanic lady gave me the order, I asked her if everything was okay, she said “ya” with a very mean tone.

I usually do not leave a review. I misordered my coffee, and kindly asked him about it. He started giving me the attitude. This location needs to train their employees before they assign a job to deal with the customers. I really disappointed about the service here.
I recently visited McDonald's and placed a TOGO order that left me quite disappointed. I specifically paid extra for an additional chicken patty in my burger, but when I got home and unwrapped my meal, I discovered that the extra patty was missing. It's frustrating to pay for something and not receive it, especially when you’re looking forward to enjoying your meal. Never write reviews but annoying situation and like to vent. Worked from 5am then took my son to his game. It's about 10pm tired and hungry and my wife is not supposed eat after certain time due to having blood work done in the morning so picked up McDonald's quickly. Ordered online and picked it up. Pulled up to my house and brought the food in so my wife can start eating. She called me and said her sandwich is missing. I said I no biggie I'll go get it. Upon getting there the cashier was starting to help me but a supervisor from 8 feet away yells where's the order and continues doing her thing 8 to 10 feet away. She can't even hear what I'm saying. So since i didn't have the whole order with me they couldn't give me the missing sandwich. She cut the other employee off. I think the employee knew it was missing by accident but couldn't say anything. Instead of yelling back so she could hear I left and went to get the food even though frustrated. After getting home my wife said forget about I can't eat it's too late you just eat. Even though feeling bad for her I attempted to eat. I asked for a plain quarter pounder ketchup only and the sandwich was wrong. 40% of the time it's wrong but I deal with it. But with it being wrong and cold, (nothing like warm McDonald's fries but cold they are not very good) I did not eat or drink my food. Will bring it back today but nothing they could do can give me back that time wasted. Had McDonald's all my life but with prices and this I'm done with them. I'll just ask for my money back and move on from it Went back with all the food and they said they can't give me my money back because it was an online order. Call an 800#. Been having an issue where they cancel discounted app deal orders. Its happened multiple times to multiple people I know who live in the area. They then demand you pay full price if you want your order. Peter also cursed us out over the phone when asking them to stop canceling the order. He just demanded we pay full price.
Highly Disappointed. If I were you I would not try the new spicy chicken sandwich. My experience here is terrible. The first time I tried out this sandwich, the size of the chicken was almost half the size of the bun. Upon reaching out to the corporate, the franchise owner Maria got back to me saying it is served by weight not size. Well, this is understandable since they can't produce the same size chicken every time. However, the second time I gave it another try, they forgot to add the spicy sauce onto the sandwich. At this point, I was frustrated since it was the second time they messed up my order. I had reached out to the corporate once again and the franchise owner Maria got back to me. To my surprise, instead of owning up to their mistakes, she tried putting the blame onto the customer saying I ordered the wrong sandwich and not the spicy sandwich. Last time I checked, I clearly ordered the spicy sandwich and instead of trying to resolve this issue, their way of dealing with the issue is to blame YOU. Terrible manager on duty had really bad attitudes. Employee took the wrong orders two days in a row, finally when I asked to correct the order today and the employee asked manager help to correct it the manager was not only giving me the attitude but also yelled at me. You get Zero star from me.
Redesign is horrible. Cold atmosphere. Lacks any personal contacting. Food is up to par.
What a terrible McDonald They want to automate everything so lots of kiosks and no one at h to e counter Whole things a mess and you end up waiting a 20 min for a basic order being cut by uber drivers
The seating area of the newly renovated place is so much smaller than before even though the outdoor playground has been removed. This place gives the vibe that they just want you to pay for the foods and go eat elsewhere. Not welcoming at all. After spending $28 for 2 meals, we are still not full. This location also does not participate in promotional items listed in the app. In general, "Big" Mac looks more like a regular burger. No wonder they hide it in a box so no one can see the tiny burger. Shame on McDonald's! Won't visit this or other McD anymore.
The new store reopened this summer, and I was so excited. I ordered the large fries and a 20-piece Chicken McNuggets. One word: disappointed. Throw away all the food, gosh. If you're not ready, please don’t reopen. McDonald’s quality control seriously needs to step up. Fries and Chicken McNuggets are the most basic items on the menu, how did they go downhill so quickly? Right now, it’s not about advertising. It’s about quality.
I ordered a 4pc crispy chicken strip meal, but only received 3pc. Was too late to fix the order since I drove home already. Make sure to double check what you order at this location. They make mistakes here.
They are not ready to serve a customer. Have a single employee working here read the procedure?
My complaint is not about the food itself. Yes, like many have said here they do mess up orders. My problem is the attitude of one specific employee that always gives me an attitude when I confront them on something THEY messed up on. She has her hair tied, slim, speaks fluent English and seems Hispanic/latino decent in her 20s. She rolled her eyes at me when she gave me the wrong size drink! (They gave me a medium sized drink with my large order multiple times and I’ve let it slide bc I didn’t notice until I got home. This time I noticed when she handed it to me and Not a single sorry. Just an eye roll and snatched it out of my hands! I’ve rarely had anyone act this way in the food business but with this girl it is all the time! Everyone else is fine, I’ve never had issues with anyone but her. This is NOT the first time mind you and I’m sure many have complained or had issues with her as well. For the first time in my life, I have filed a formal complaint with McDonald’s corporate because of her rude unprofessional behavior. She either needs to shut up and fix her attitude, get retrained and/or fired. I am waiting for a follow up. If no further action is taken I will continue to escalate these multiple issues with this one lady with corporate until she either changes her attitude, apologizes for her mistakes and her behavior and if that doesn’t work and she refuses to change, she is terminated. You work at a McDonalds honey you’re behavior is embarrassing lol don’t act like you’re something different😉
I don't know what happened. This used to be my favorite, local fast food. The wait time has more than tripled in the drive-thru. They must've fired someone who was good at the job. I'm not coming back here, 25 minutes in the Drive thru for one McChicken is crazy.
We ordered chicken nuggets and a spicy snack wrap. The snack wrap was missing and there was no sauce included with the nuggets even though I ordered it.This wasn’t the first time this happened.
Most unfriendly and unprofessional McDonald's I've ever been to. I've ordered 5 vanilla cones from the monopoly games. The manager(?) there refuses to give them to me and out of nowhere screamed at me twice about getting free food in hope of embarrassing me or something, and told me to get out. Funny thing is I've actually bought the monopoly codes to exchange for the cones, so mind you not free foods. I've asked for her name, she refuses to give, so I took this picture for anyone who can identify. She saw me took a photo and also pick up her phone to record or photo me. I did not get the deals for the 5 cones back....
Been coming to this location for years but the staff here never gets any better. I usually do drive thru and they ALWAYS forget something. At least 1 out of 2 times that we order here, they forget something from our order. Worst part is when they hand it to me and say, “it’s all in there” and guess what?! It’s not!! I’m not even exaggerating when I say this. Sometimes I’m able to catch it right away and wait there till someone comes back to give me my missing items but there’s been plenty of times when I don’t realize it until I get home and by then I have to just cut my losses. But it happens way too often to be forgivable!! PLEASE RE-TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!!!
I have lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years, and I am extremely disappointed with the service at this location since its reopening. I waited 25 minutes for my first order a few weeks ago, and today was even worse. I placed a mobile order at 2:23 PM and waited more than 30 minutes with no update. My son asked the Spanish male employee twice about our order, and he ignored us both times. Only after I confronted another worker and showed proof of my order time was I finally given my food.
I went to this McDonald’s for breakfast and ordered two Sausage McMuffins. When I got home and opened the bag, I realized they had forgotten to add cheese. I had to drive back to the store. The manager, without wearing gloves, directly touched and inspected the food I brought back. She told me in front of me that she would throw the old ones away and make fresh ones. However, when she returned, although the McMuffins now had cheese, the muffins were soggy and clearly not freshly made. I eat these often and know exactly what a fresh Sausage McMuffin should be like. I had to go back again to confront her. This time she changed her story, first saying she just gave the old McMuffins to a colleague, then later saying she never promised to remake them. She kept making excuses and lying. Only after I insisted did she finally agree to make new ones in the kitchen. The lack of hygiene at this location is shocking. Why would anyone use bare hands to handle a customer’s food, stuff cheese inside, and then serve it back? On top of that, lying repeatedly in front of the customer makes the whole experience unacceptable. I will never return to this McDonald’s again.
HORRIBLE RENOVATION. The dining area is so small now and they made the kitchen area UNNECESSARILY LARGE. While you are waiting for you order you are in everyone’s way that is eating which is very disrespectful to the people trying to eat while u have tons of people leaning on the back of the seats of customers. Also the way to order is like 5 machines (no more cashiers) also very squeezed together with the dinning room and the people waiting for their food PLUS THE DOORS BEING ON EACH ENDS. Overall just so disappointed that they changed such a great design that had PLENTY of room for people to order, wait, and eat without being all on top of each other. Oh and on the hottest day you would expect the ac to be on HIGH but nope heard multiple people complain about how low the ac was.
