Today was my first time experiencing this spot. And let me tell you, they are very authentic. The food & courses are superb. I highly recommend this place. And the service is A1. Lastly, and being that I'm a vegetarian, the veggies I ordered were seasoned very very good.

Fantastic! From the food to the atmosphere to the service…EVERYTHING is top notch. Excellent chips and salsa! They offer a huge menu with many dishes to choose from! You cannot go wrong with the Quesabirria beef tacos served with rice and beans (I asked for black beans)!!! Also, the pork carnitas are delicious, too! The birria tacos are so tender, well seasoned, and something I’d order again and again! If you’re looking for a wonderful Mexican restaurant in Little Rock, please visit Maximo Cocina Mexicana. We’ve been looking for a good Mexican restaurant since we moved here. This place checks all the boxes!!

10 out of 10! Went to celebrate my birthday and the service and food did not disappoint! Friendly staff and our server Alberto was absolutely fantastic!!! Food was hot and tasted great! Will definitely be going back!

This restaurant is so beautifully decorated. Food is yummy, salsa has good spice, the service was amazing. I couldn’t find the menu photos online so I wanted to post for others who want to view the menu first. I had lunch fajitas which I took a photo after I started eating lol. The ranchero plate my coworker looked so delicious as well though. Great prices for lunch! Our server was so nice and very attentive to our party of 8.

This place just opened and I can tell it’s going to be a hit. The service was top notch. The drink I had was $22 but it had Casa Azul and Grand Marier in it so it was worth it. The sampler was amazing,those beef nachos tasted like home but better. The quesabirria tacos needed a bit more salt but still very good. I’ll definitely be back soon

Another Tex Mex restaurant with good food but nothing extraordinary about this place except the beautiful atmosphere and decor. I really should go back and try their specialties because we ordered the Maximo Sampler which was good and nicely prepared. A good size portion for two and a very tasty enchilada with a different and handmade type tortilla. Loaded chicken and cheese quesadillas were good. The nachos were good as well with lots of spicy beef and cheese dip. Which brings me to $9.99 for melted white queso which a lot of restaurants, this one included, call cheese dip. Not my favorite. We did enjoy the perfect salsa and chips! Anyway the service was slightly slow(we did arrive late midday), not many people there, and I will return and check this place out for dinner. I will not order the cheese dip.

This was a nice Mexican restaurant. The salsa was great, large portions and good food. I didn’t love the cheese sauce. I will try something different next time.

The service was fast, fresh, and correct. Our waiter was very attentive and made very good food recommendations. They are a little pricey in my opinion but now days everywhere is. The atmosphere was very peaceful and spacious.

Ok you guys know this fat man. New restaurant just opened in Little Rock. Maximo. Mexican Cocina. Located where the Italian place was on the hill off Markham, next to twin peaks. Been remodeled, very nice inside. Chairs are different. Actually comfortable. But if you have a big butt or legs may be uncomfortable. Air conditioning works well. Fat man was freezing. Servers were super nice. It was slow as word hasn't gotten out yet. Menu was big but not overwhelming. Salsa. Spicy. Chips nothing unusual. I had the app plate. Beef nachos, chicken quesadelia, beef enchilada, chicken taquito. All had good flavor. Just be careful, greasy and it drip red greasy. Chicken had great flavor. Def come and try. I'll be back and try something different.

Meh. Our service was just absolutely awful. We had to wait 20 minutes to make an order while the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, Our server messed up our order ( tried to order my 3yo son 2 tacos, and we got an adult meal) so we probably got charged for more than we ordered, and then at the end she tried to give me the wrong amount of change. I planned on tipping because that’s just the kind of person I am, but then she brings me the wrong amount of change, nun uh. I more than likely will not be coming back.
