Went back for a second time- this place is amazing! The food is consistently SO good and very well priced for the large portions you get. I decided to try the Sesame seed buns with red bean paste this time and they were amazing!
The food was great. The only problem is why they call red bowl when the bowl is black 😭 JK everything was amazing we love the food! 🥘
This might be the best Rama place I've ever had, the food is good and there's plenty of it in each bowl for a good price. Service is phenomenal everyone is so nice and constantly if you need anything. The only negative is that they do not allow you to take emus into the restaurant, but besides that everything is perfect.
We went here during a trip from Texas and were not disappointed. I ordered the Panang and my girlfriend had the Pad Thai. The portions were generous a made for two meals each. Both were rich in flavor with good spice levels (the Panang was a little too hot for her). They also gave us Pork and Mushroom fried dumplings to try. The dumplings were an interesting blend of sweet and savory that worked well. Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome despite our late arrival. If I lived in the area, they would have earned a regular customer today. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
This is my favorite ramen place in the area! I've tried several and something is always off. This place hit the spot and will be my new go-to. The spice level on the spicy tonkatsu was perfect! The service was lovely. We added to our meal part way through and the extra time was brought out very quickly. The restaurant is clean, quiet, and perfect for lunch.
I ordered beef fried rice and wings. The beef fried rice had a generous serving size. You could probably share that between 2 or 3 people, depending on how much you eat. The wings were fried pretty good and had a food taste to them as well. The service was great and the people working there were very nice. Also the pricing is fair, for what you get served. Its also a place to combine their food with a cold beer.
Red Bowl is so good! The food was amazing, I love the ramen with tofu. Everyone there was really nice and welcoming, and they even brought us free egg tarts (which were actually delicious). It’s also affordable and I had so much leftover, I ate it for lunch the next day.
This was my first time here, for context I am an avid raman lover, raman is my favorite food, and I tend to search out places that serve it. I have tried Ajis raman, goku raman, golden bowl, and now red bowl, and red bowl truly blew my mind, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the staff was quick, attentive, and very nice. Aji raman was my go to spot for a bowl but red bowl is my new favorite easily. The bowl was massive with a massive portion, tons of protein, the broth was divine, if I had to find SOMETHING to nit pick the soft boiled egg was a little over cooked but please understand that is me reaching for anything to fault, if you love raman like I do, I would highly recommend this place.
Got their Miso Ramen, Steamed BBQ pork buns, and a Strawberry latte! Honestly for the price, the amount of food you get is amazing. The miso broth was really well flavored. The chicken could have been cut into small chunks/easier to cut apart, but it was still yummy! The buns are my favorite though. The filling was so nice. And the latte was delicious. A nice cooling drink.
I ordered takeout and it was great. Food was ready when I arrived and still hot. Staff very polite and friendly and accommodating of request to have sauce on the side for one dish. I would love to come here with a bunch of friends and try more of the dim sum menu. What I had: Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce--cooked but not overdone, great paired with the Beef Rice Noodle. Beef Rice Noodle--soft rice noodle wrapped around ground meat filling. Mildly savoury and the texture was really nice. Pan Seared Turnip Cakes--mild flavour, a little sweet, they had onions in them. A little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. General Tso's Chicken--chicken nice and crunchy. The sauce is good and very spicy. If I had thought I would have asked if they had a menu that shows all the ingredients for each dish. That would be really useful for people with food sensitivities.
We split a variety of dishes and all of them were great. We had pad Thai, Chicken Chow Fun, bbq pork buns, crab rangoon, and steamed pork soup dumplings. Our service was great and the portion sizes on the entrees were huge. There's usually nothing left on my plate whenever I'm done, but this was a lot of food! I'd come back!
Food delicious and service excellent. We ordered shrimp leek dumplings, miso ramen with beef and tonkotsu ramen with pork. My miso dish had a flavorful both with a super mild heat in the background, good chewy noodles, and the beef was succulent with just a little bit of fattiness. My companion had tonkotsu ramen and left the smallest amount of broth at the bottom. Portions of ramen were quite generous. Shrimp leek dumplings had a great texture and leek forward. Staff were attentive and very kind. When we went the internet was down and the pork buns were gone for the day, but it was no problem for us. Will definitely make return trip and would recommend!
This was my first time having Ramen, so I’m not the best judge at how great it was compared to others however, I thought it was pretty delicious. The broth is super heavy, so it made me full really fast. I liked the different flavors and textures within the bowl from the fish cake to the corn. It was all very interesting. I would definitely try it again.
This was my first time here. I love lomein noodles and I wanted to try theirs. I also tried spring rolls for the first time with the chili sauce. I was very pleased with the portion size, and freshness of the food. Everything taste good. I am Thoroughly pleased with my first experience and very eager to try them again.
Expensive, but this restaurant excels at it’s namesake: a good, basic Ramen. The added expense of a protein was worth it (though $.99 for an egg seemed excessive – especially when it wasn’t a whole egg by my observation). The leak and shrimp paste dim sum was quite good: fresh with excellent texture. Only complaint was the excessive noise generated by the carbonated soda machine. Mentioned it to the manager, but there was clearly a communication barrier. (I’ve been around steam locomotives that made less noise!) Clean restrooms, though the men’s floor was somewhat sticky.
The food itself may be fine, but my experience was enough to lose me as a customer for good. I placed a takeout order for tofu panang curry and came home with the wrong order entirely. When I called to resolve it, I was asked to drive the incorrect order back to them — 15 minutes each way — to get what I originally paid for. No credit. No coupon. No acknowledgment that my time has value. Just a sorry and a handoff. I shouldn’t have to spend my evening driving across town to fix a mistake I didn’t make. A basic gesture of goodwill; store credit, a free item on the next visit, anything... would have shown that they actually value their customers. Instead, the message I got was pretty clear: not our problem anymore. There are other great options in the area, and that’s exactly where I’ll be going from now on. If management wants to keep customers, they need to understand that how you handle a mistake matters more than the mistake itself. The Curry House next door just earned a new regular.
So first off I’ll start off with the positive •good spring rolls •bubble Tea Next the CONS •service could have been better but not bad •fried rice doesn’t come with egg for some reason •PAD THAI WITH SHRIMP IS DISGUSTING THE SAUCE TASTES LIKE WATERED DOWN SPAGHETTI FLAVOR AND THE SHRIMP WAS SO CHEWY I WAS COMPLETELY TURNED OFF BY IT I HAD ONE BITE AND THAT WAS ENOUGH FOR ME WHAT WAS THE MOST CONCERNING WAS THE WAITER ASKED IF I WANTED A BOX TO TAKE IT TO GO AND WHEN I STATED NO HE NEVER ASKED IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I also thought the rice noodles it came with were the vermicelli rice noodles but they weren’t which was an error on my part (which cost me 16$,life lesson)All in all this place gets a solid 4.7 for me
I was visiting from out of town and was super excited to try this place. I ordered Drunken Noodles with Chicken, Pork Buns and Pad Thai. The Drunken Noodles were good (not the best I've had). Pork Buns were excellent. The Pad Thai tasted like day old spaghetti. I've had Pad Thai from placed far and wide. This was by far the worst. I mentioned to the server and he just sort of shrugged. Overall disappointed!
The place seemed clean and our server was very nice. There was a wide variety of food to choose from on the menu, which may be actually part of the problem. They may want to branch away from the fusion aspect and focus more on one type of cuisine. I ordered the pad thai. Let me preface that I never send food back and usually Asian food is never an issue with me, but the pad thai had absolutely no flavor aside from the sauce that they use which must have been a watered down tomato pasta sauce. It had a very distinctive tomato taste, I even had my friends try it to confirm my suspicions without me even telling them what I thought it tasted like in advance. The waiter was very insistent it was pad thai, and in checking reviews after the fact here and at other sites I've noticed that other people have stated the same thing. They would not take the food back, or remove it from the bill, which in a way I understand they are a small business. I don't like food going to waste and I do not like giving it back, so I had it to go and gave it to a homeless man that was nearby the restaurant. At least I felt a little better that it did not get thrown away. I absolutely love pad Thai but this, oh God I don't even know what that was. The egg roll that it came with too was a little sketchy and my friends dishes didn't have the flavor that they normally are used to at other establishments.
