I absolutely love the Alehouse! Their burgers are fantastic, I highly recommend them!! I love getting the Mushroom & Swiss burger with Bleu Cheese Crumbles added. Or even just a Bleu Cheese burger. They are best!! I would highly recommend it if you enjoy mushrooms, swiss and bleu cheese. Really good fries too. Their garlic fries are spiiicy. I have never had something there I didn't like.
Pretty good place, went here for lunch and got a hamburger. It was very good, just a little too charred smelling, other than that, it was delicious (got a free lollipop to go:D) The inside of the restaurant is pretty huge and the outside dining area is pretty and it’s quiet outside. The service was good and we got a table immediately since there’s so many tables in the place.
This place is so much bigger on the inside than how it looks on the outside. There is plenty of tables and bar room for large parties. They don't serve hard alcohol, just beer, wine, and seltzers. I really enjoyed their apricot beer. Not sweet, just a hint of apricot. We ordered the onion rings and wings. The onion rings were really good and the wings had lots of meat. We also ordered the garden burger with pesto and brie. So good. Also the garden burger with mushroom and Swiss, equally good! The whole experience was beyond expectation.
Came by here about a week ago with a guy I guess who comes here regularly. It's his spot 😅 I was recommended I think it was a cilantro burger? Didn't care for it much, but loved the atmosphere and the onion rings. Will have to try a different burger next time. The burger itself was juicy.
Okay, I know that the Alehouse is a pretty popular place in Livermore, but it's for a good reason. I got a turkey burger and it was delicious. The service didn't really surprise me, but it was fine. But the atmosphere is a whole different level, it's known for their huge display of beer cans, so it is pretty interesting. And it also is kind of western and cozy in a way. Overall, really great place for food. People should always recommend the Alehouse.
My expectations weren’t that good for this place, therefore is safe to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! The service was exceptional as well! Would definitely recommend! There was not much of an upbeat atmosphere for lunch time, it was just a chill vibe. Not sure if it’s a different vibe on a Friday or Saturday night.
Great place for lunch on a sunny day. They have outside seating on the main st so it’s nice for people watching ( very walkable). The food was delicious! A cool thing they do is have a grilled cheese special every week. My was a pulled pork and it was great with lots of meat. The seared ahi tacos were great!
A reasonable value, friendly service, awesome food. Never thought of Brie & Pesto on a burger...and now I'll never forget. 2024 update...Apparently I didn't forget because I had another brie and Pesto burger. This time it was accompanied by onion rings and hot cocoa. What a treat it was to have Carissa as our server. She took great care of us!
Outdoor dining for bunch 3/14/2021. There were plenty of outdoor tables. It used to get really busy here because of their breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is no longer available due to Covid. The food is always awesome. Today we had calamari strips $12.50, mini corn dogs $8, alehouse burger $12, fish and chips $13, mushroom Swiss burger $13.50+garlic fries $2 and seared ahi tacos. I'm in love with the chef and wait staff. Great job everyone at First Street Alehouse.

To start the service is over the top great. The beer selection is just amazing The beer is always a notch cooler than most brewpubs. I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Always …
Server was excellent. burgers and fries were delicious. Not too loud that we could have a conversation.
Tasty chicken sandwich! Highly recommend. Loved the southwestern chicken sandwich and the aioli on it was quite good
Good lunch, not too pricey, good service and interesting surroundings. We would go back maybe in the evening. for some beers.

Overall a good pub style experience. Do wish the fish and chips would be as good as their burgers. Beer dis have a wide selection but nothing that isn't available anywhere else.
Great place to have some beers and American food. It’s in livermore downtown with plenty of public parking available. It’s huge place and lots of seating area. They have great beers on tap. Some of the seasonal one were amazing. The food was as usual but I loved the chicken nachos as chicken was charcoal grilled. They have nice desserts though.
Th The food was satisfactory, with a particularly impressive atmosphere and exceptional service. We ordered nachos, which were quite salty due to the sauce, and the jalapeños were not pickled. However, the garlic fries were enjoyable. In terms of beverages, the restaurant boasts an excellent selection of beers, although the cocktail options are limited. I tried their frozen margarita, which was quite good. Overall, it is a pleasant venue to socialize with friends, primarily for its ambiance, rather than the food or drinks.
They have the largest beer can collection on display in the US. Ordered the wings and hummus trio. Bummed they don't have hard liquor. Had the berry cider, and it was good, just not really my thing usually. The wings and hummus were good. The server did a great job. The restrooms were clean.
Great beer selection. Margarita was surprisingly good and not too sweet. Tasteful and unique decor. Electric atmosphere on Saturday evening. So so appetizers - calamari perhaps a bit over fried and so was the battered shrimp. Garlic Fry's were good. The prime rib sandwiches was delightful. A must try spot in Livermore down town.
A solid sports-type bar with some TVs for games, and a proper sit-down bar. The manu is very thin for gluten free, and the fryer is contaminated, so no fries. The black and bleu salad is tasty, but…

My kids liked it. The su persevere a nice touch. Seemed as though the staff was not as attentive as we have had. Other than that, nice.
Always a win at First Street Alehouse -- amazing food, great beers, and zero issues. Love it

First time visitor. Excellent Food ( I had a Rueben) probably the Best Rueben Sandwich in the East Bay. Our Waitress Carissa was Excellent. Cool Atmosphere, Mini Kegs line the upper ceiling area behind the bar. The place can get crowded. Don’t be discouraged by all the traffic on First St. , there is tons of free parking behind the restaurant . Highly Recommended
The staff/service were good and the seating options both inside and outside were nice. The interior has a cool vibe and most outdoor seating has shade. The food was just okay. The fish was overcooked and the veganentrees had fresh ingredients, they just lacked a much needed dressing/sauce.

Im surprised this place has a high rating. Pricey for what you get! Family of 3 and it was $70. We had a 3 year old and she ordered the kids pizza, smallest kids pizza I have ever seen. I think a Costco slice is bigger than what she got. My wife ordered the ahi tacos, $19 for 3 small slices of tuna, a bunch of lettuce, and 3 tortillas. Way over priced and there was really no flavor to them. I got the rueben, which was just ok. Nothing special about it but not completely awful. Also we had 2 beers, beers were great, hard to mess that up. But dont worry, if you are military they give also give 2.5% discount that took off $1.70 which is better than nothing and I appreciate that but i would rather pay for good food and this place falls way short.

I came here a couple weekends ago and experienced the most disgusting food poisoning of my life. All I ordered was a chicken sandwich, I’ve had it many times before that. I don’t know if there was some kind of cross contamination involved but i almost had to go to the ER. I was throwing up and going to the bathroom all at once until 5 am. I was sick and weak for days following this. It was the most terrible and disgusting experience of my life. I used to love this place, the food is great, service is great but I’ll never be able to trust them ever again.
