Loved this place! I've come here for lunch a few times (Fridays are my favorite because of the specials) my family and I also ordered the catered family Thanksgiving meal and it was beyond our expectation!

Fantastic hidden gem for delicious food. They make amazing breakfast plates! Staff is extremely friendly and the facility is nice and clean!

I live this place for pickup sandwiches for lunch and breakfast for a few years. Now I find myself going there about 3x per week. The staff is so friendly and I love the 🦃 sandwich

Great place for Breakfast, Lunch, or both. My office has done Catering for customer training classes, employee appreciation, etc. Foods has always been on point, often times Jake personally delivers and setups the catering. Breakfast burritos are super tasty. Coffee is solid. His daily specials are usually where it's at, my favorite is the meat ball sandwich with homemade marinara. Check out their Facebook, usually the days special is posted.

One of my go to spots for a quick, but delicious meal. The staff is always nice and the food is spot on 9 times out of 10. I've been going for the last few years and i've only ever had two slightly less than good experiences with the food, but nothing that could tarnish an otherwise sterling cafe experience. They make a good western burger too.

The food was good and reasonably priced. Our party had: omelets, breakfast sandwich melts, chicken salads, corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, and chiliquelas. Everything was good or excellent. The fried eggs on the chiliquelas that my buddy ordered looked excellent and perfectly cooked, and the green chili sauce was very good. The one complaint I have is that the salads were overdressed so you might want to request dressing on the side. The coffee was also quite good and unlimited. The staff was very friendly. I've lived within walking distance for 4 years and this was my first trip to Jake's. I'll definitely come back.

I love grabbing breakfast or lunch here, we recently used their catering service for a party of 40 people and we chose the southwestern option and everyone at the party raved about it! 5 star food and service :)

Jake's is a local favorite. The owner and staff are very friendly and live in the neighborhood. I've been coming here since the opening and everything on the menu is worth a try. From the breakfast burrito to the California chicken sandwich they have something for everyone including vegetarians. If you're working in the area don't hesitate to stop by give Jake's a try

Hands down my favorite place to get delicious food in Tri-Valley.. I love everything on the menu. Prices are great. Staff friendly. Food is amazing. Great for a quick breakfast or lunch for take out. I would eat there more often if it wasn’t located on the other side of town by the airport!! Thank you Jake and staff!!!

During the coronavirus outbreak, Jake's has continued to offer catering and take-out. You can call ahead, pay with card or cash, and they will deliver curbside or you can go inside wearing a mask to pick up. My orders have always been correct and delicious. The staff is working hard to provide a safe take-out meal service and the owner, Jake, always warmly greets his customers.

Great little cafe right off hwy 84, easy out and on. Food was delicious and quick, the chorizo omelete was my favorite. Skip the hasbrowns, not fresh they had the frozen patties. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Will definitely eat here on next travel.

We stopped by on our way back from Yosemite and wanted a quick meal. Location is not far from Hwy 580 - took maybe 3 minutes to get there off the highway. We had a Cuban sandwich and the potato salad. Both were scrumptious! The potato salad is the best I have ever eaten. The place is clean, service friendly and fast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

It's a great local cafe that caters, with good vibes ,great owners and staff that's involved with their community. The food is fantastic and don't forget to ask for extra salsa with your breakfast burrito cause you're gonna want it. Also the Philly cheesteak is my personal favorite.

We enjoy having Saturday morning breakfast here. The food is very good (love the omelets) and reasonably priced. The people that work there are always pleasant. I would recommend Jake's to anyone who likes casual clothes and good food.

This is a go-to stop for my team. We meet for breakfast every Friday and we cater lunches for the office regularly. The quality, freshness, and value are exactly what you expect from a local chef's daily menu. The staff is far above average, very attentive, very polite, and extremely professional. At this level they are easily 5 stars, however, I have not used their larger catering services, so I reserved 1 star until I get that opportunity. And don't get me started on the fresh baked goods. That's another 5 star rating on it's own and a review for another day. You will not leave Jake's disappointed...ever!

Absolutely nothing special about the breakfast I had. Corned beef hash was potatoes with a little sliced corned beef. Asked to have my eggs poached but they don't do poached. Grape jelly was the only offering for toast. Moderately clean but cluttered with no real cohesive decor. Was hoping to find a new favorite breakfast spot... still looking.

1st time visit. Lunch today California turkey sandwich tasted like oscar Myers medium cut Turkey (not fresh, 3 slices) and just heavily buttered and flash warmed on a griddle. French frys were limp and greasy. My co workers burger was dry and very well done. 5 customers at 2pm and A/C seemed to be barely working if it was on at all.

Overpriced smallish sandwiches....decent flavor...cold inside...some homeless guy taking a sink bath in restroom .Cmon Livermore you can do better...prices way to high n make restroom customers only...smh

Ordered the pastrami sandwich and breakfast burrito. The sandwich was just 2 thin layers of meat and mustard, not even a slice of cheese. It was a bland, mostly bread sandwich. The breakfast burrito with bacon and chorizo was good, but the size was much smaller than expected. We went there with high hopes based on other reviews. SO disappointed.

Nasty would not go back here waste of money . Sandwich was terrible. No meat on it really. It basically it was a bread sandwich. Don't go here. Also it wasn't cheap.

People ever pay attention how workers in the cafes prepare your food? Well let me tell you this place wear no gloves touches your food with bare hands and wipe their hand over their clothes and touch your food again I think it’s quite disgusting. Professional places wear gloves and wash hands often. It’s a new law that states workers must wear gloves and use proper hand washing. I would never wish anyone to get poisoned or get sick because someone is careless. Now a days a lot of people out there are germophobic including myself and if this place wishes to pay my medical bills they are more than welcome. Needs a lot of improvement before serving any kind of food. And lots of training how to handle the food.

The burrito is too small for the price
