Everest Inn - Blackheath

Just had the BEST meal here. Came for the bottomless brunch. I am vegan so they made several vegan off menu specials for me. It was supposed to be 90 minutes but we sat and chatted for 3 hours. Service was the best ever. Food was incredible and all very reasonably priced. I live locally and it was my first time eating in here. I feel like such a fool that I haven't eaten here before! I have been to a few other Nepalese restaurants locally but this is the best. I will definitely be back and telling my friends about this place. My photos are bad as I had to eat the food before remembering to take the photos! THANK YOU

A great hospitality experience for our first time trying Nepalese food 😋 Best cocktails we've ever tried, my fave was Nepalese whiskey sour "The Smokey Himalayas" and The Jiri gin cocktail - love the lime twist. Every plate was a high standard, from the impressive scallops and prawns starters to the salmon and lamb shank mains, all so good..delicate and tasty desserts, so beautifully presented. Definitely recommend this place 👌🏼

This is a special restaurant, I discovered it through a timeout recommendation and I'm so glad that I did. The food is beautiful, delicious and leaves the lingering flavors that leave you happy inside. Although I was only in London for 2 nights, I made sure to book a table for my second night! The service is exemplary and as an added bonus they have a muted video showing highlights of Nepal on one wall, it's honestly inspired me to plan a trip there! Love this Nepalese food 😋 great cocktails, best we've ever tried, love "The Smokey Himalayas" and The Jiri gin cocktail with a brilliant lime twist. Love the lamb shank main, just fantastic. Like the desserts, well presented. Would recommend this place! We'll be back! Baby friendly with high chairs and high capacity venue too!

The place has a lovely ambience, whatever the occasion. We had a lovely afternoon brunch, hosted by Yadav and his team. I do recommend fully. True Nepalese style, which I learned about from asking the waiter.

We had never been here before, however will most definitely will be returning. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. Manish, Bharat and their colleagues were very attentive, made some recommendation taking into account what we normally like (but also the desire to try something different). 100% recommend. It’s lovely to see (from the displayed certificates) they have also won so many awards for not only their food but also their excellent work within the community.

Momo’s are super delicious and tasty. I always liked my momos fried but this time the steamed momos with the chili sauce was exceptional. The chicken lollies was succulent, felt good eating after a while. It’s quite a nice vibe when I was having lunch at Everest Inn with my family. The owner - Mr Yadav was very kind, warm and welcoming. Very nice person to meet. We later found out notable Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Yash Raj Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif dined here back in 2012 for a Bollywood movie filming schedule. It was wonderful to see that, I will definitely bring my friends here for a visit. Also if you have a car, perfect spot for parking!

I’m no stranger to Blackheath as I worked and lived here for 2yrs. We drove in from Chislehurst to check out this new Vietnamese place. The place was nowhere to be found but we struck gold by choosing to eat here. The staff were professional, yet approachable and not too clingy. Then he food came, WOW! It was tasteful and beautiful. Definitely coming back here after recommending this place to our friends & family. Thank you guys.

Small restaurant, the food was really good

Everest Inn is such a breath of fresh air in comparison to other South Asian restaurants and takeaways in the area. The quality is excellent and the food is always fresh. We had a number of takeaways during the pandemic, but finally got a sit-down dinner and the experience was even better. The lamb shank is incredible - so tender, it just slides off! And the momos were perfect as always (top tip: get a portion for yourself!) And the staff are so attentive and friendly. They're always around to make sure we're comfortable and even during takeaways, they're very prompt. Sadly, our first sit-down at the restaurant was our last as Blackheath residents but we would happily keep coming back to try out all the things on the menu than go anywhere else.

I really enjoyed the food. There was a nice selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods on the menu. Staff were very courteous. I will definitely go there again if I'm in the area.

Extravagant is the only word I can use to describe this place! Amazing!! I’m not much of a restaurant person, I am a picky person but I came here with my friends and the young waitress Arohi was so kind and so caring about our needs she recommended the best meals there are on the menu. The Jiri is really nice too I recommend

Really nice food and good value. I liked the offering of more unique dishes alongside the more traditional Indian curry dishes. The ambiance was lovely and service couldn’t be faulted.

Had my husband's birthday celebration there and we had soo much fun! From the time of booking the event till it finished, the staff were very courteous, helpful and nothing was too much trouble! The ambience was great too! Definitely my go to place!

We have been regular diners at Everest Inn for 20 years and have always had the most amazing meals. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. They are always welcoming, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Perfect for a special occasion or a night with friends or family. They are also excellent for gluten free dining. We dined at Everest Inn to celebrate my housemate’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff, especially Yadav, were incredibly accommodating. They even gave us complimentary dumplings and surprised my housemate with a birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was our first time visiting, and as locals, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I recently visited Everest Inn during their Dipawali event, and it honestly reminded me why I love going back there again and again. The moment I walked in, it didn’t feel like just a restaurant it felt like a warm place filled with familiar faces and festive energy. As a international student this event was something that made me felt like a home. The ambience had that soft, comforting glow that makes you feel at home during festivals. The staff were genuinely warm not just “doing their job,” but actually caring about whether people were enjoying themselves. That’s something I really appreciate every time I visit. And the food… as always, flavourful, comforting, and prepared with real care. I’ve been there on normal days too, not just during events, and the consistency in taste and hospitality is what keeps pulling me back. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels personal and the atmosphere feels uplifting, no matter when you go. For me, Everest Inn isn’t just a restaurant I occasionally visit it’s become one of those places where you feel good the moment you step inside.

Excellent Food, Amazing service and gentle atmosphere. The food is sensational, fresh, succulent and flavoursome. We recently celebrated my youngest daughters 21st Birthday there and the staff were all absolutely amazing! Very helpful and informative and very kind. We celebrated my dad’s special birthday here and the whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the food was delicious, and our family felt very well looked after throughout the evening. A huge thank you to Yadav and Krishna, who supported us with the planning, patiently helped us finalise the details, and made sure everything was organised exactly as we had hoped on the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and their calm, friendly manner meant we could simply enjoy the occasion with my dad. The little touches – from accommodating our requests to timing the food and cake perfectly – made the celebration feel really personal and memorable. We would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion and look forward to returning in the future.

Went to visit a friend and ended up here for dinner. Delightful, delightful place! Every dish we ordered (about 7 total) was just amazing - the flavours were really balanced and presentation was fabulous. We couldn't get enough of it. Service was lovely and prompt as well. Quite out of the way for me but will definitely come back!

Came here yesterday. The food is really nice, better than any other indian/nepalese cuisine i’ve ever been to before, my friend really enjoyed it here as well. They have a good selection of wine lists, cocktails. The waitress (Arohi) was so polite and funny which made the service even more excellent, will visit for the christmas events! 🎄🎄

Amazing food and atmosphere. They've won loads of awards and you can see why. Reasonable prices for great portions of delicious food. The staff are super friendly and professional and the service is fast! Don't miss the Manchurian and the carrot cake.

This is a lovely restaurant where there are a lot of things to commend. The cocktail I tried was really nicely made with the Nepalese rum which I’d never tried before. The momo starter dish was superb. Then the slight disappointment was the lamb shank. It had some really nice spiced sauce on it but it didn’t just slide off the bone like the softest shanks are meant to. It wasn’t a bad dish but it could have been slightly less tough. The carrot cake dessert was well presented and tasted nice. Service was good. The price seemed pretty reasonable to me too. It was a quiet evening when we visited but it was a nice place to enjoy dinner.

We have walked past Everest Inn on more occasions that I like to remember but we final decided to dine here at the weekend. We were not disappointed and highly recommend this establishment. The food was authentic, tasty with just the right about of heat for us. We started with some of their signature cocktails , which we highly recommend. We had the, Jiri - Timur Gin, Mint, Lychee, Line & Tonic and Annapurna - Absolute Vodka, Galliano, Apple, Lemon & Cinnamon. Both our starters and mains were good and delivered of spice and heat. The only negative was the heat ( temp) of the food. Some of the dishes were luke warm, which was a real shame. We did bring this to the attention of the front of house manager, who replaced the dish. I would say, the time from the dishes been plated and serviced needs to improve. As for the service, some improvement is needed. We waited too long for our wine, staff appears rushed off their feet, hence difficult to get their attention at time. It’s for the serving of luke warm dishes, we have only given it 4/5

It’s a bit difficult to find a parking near the restaurant but once you pass that step, the food is really great. Price is also good and portion size and presentation is also very nice. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some authentic taste
