Faros Holborn

We had the absolutely best dining experience at Faros with Bahar as our server. She was so so friendly and kind and made our whole experience so much fun. We had pizza and truffle pasta and then tiramisu to share and everything was perfect. The quality of food was amazing. The quality of service was amazing and we are definitely going back again to eat here. Thank you to Bahar for being so incredibly kind to us and for making us laugh. Wish you all the best!!!! Delicious food, delicious drinks, and great service. We were celebrating my birthday, and our waitress Dilek brought us lemon sorbet, limoncello, and took a Polaroid photo that we got to keep. I got the burrata pasta that was amazing and the passion fruit spicy margarita!! Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful experience! The service felt like being welcomed by family. Both the manager and our waitress, Dilek were warm, genuine and full of heart. Especially Dilek was truly exceptional and made us feel incredibly well taken care of, as if we were guests in someone’s home rather than in a restaurant. Our kids loved her personality and good sense of humor. The atmosphere was filled with kindness and hospitality and it turned an already lovely dinner into something truly memorable. A beautiful place that we wholeheartedly recommend to absolutely everyone. Oh, and the food is great too ☺️

We secured a reservation for our family of 3 very last minute on a Saturday night. I suspect we got lucky because this seems to be, like many spots in London, a smaller establishment (at least on the street level), but with over 3,200 Google reviews at 4.9 stars we assumed it must be exquisite. Indeed, it was perfect. The greeting upon entering was warm and hospitable, taking our coats graciously while showing us our table, which was next the window on the street level. Our main server, Dilek, attentively and diligently took care of us during the entire evening and often tried to interact warmly with our 7 year old son. We enjoyed the Calamari, Beef Filet, and the Pappardelle Beef Ragu ending the night sharing a Tiramisu for dessert. My wife enjoyed a French region Malbec while I enjoyed the Yamazaki. We felt relaxed and at home the entire evening, ending the night with a complimentary digestive of limoncello and an instant Polaroid family photo to take with us as a memento. On holiday from the US, this experience is what I imagine is quintessential European dining at its finest: a quaint, cozy, warm, yet exciting ambience paired with fine drinks, delicious food, and warm service from everyone. With 1,000s of places to dine in London, Faros will be our new family spot every time we visit London. Like their sign out front stating “Faros - Years, Lovers, and Glasses of Wine should never be counted” so too shall we not count the days until our return but instead await patiently to savor our next visit when we return.

We went to the other Faros the night before and it was so good, we came here the next evening. I think the Holborn is a little better, but you can't go wrong with either. This Faros has a more intimate setting and outdoor dining. Our server Irem was exceptional and so sweet, she really enhanced our experience! The food is all fabulous. We had the salmon app, the 6 hour beef ragu and a pizza. I will definitely be back, maybe tonight lol.

Had just amazing dinner with my colleague on October 26th and now came back to write the review weeks later because the food and service were sublime! 😍 Our waiter Bilal was so amazing and kind with us and really lifted our mood. Food was incredible, tasty, eye-catching and high quality. This is 5/5, I recommend warmly! 🫶

We had our team dinner at Faros tonight, and everything was absolutely wonderful! The service was exceptional from start to finish - Orestis and Irem were both remarkably gracious and attentive, ensuring everyone at the table was perfectly taken care of throughout the evening.💯 The food was exquisite! I had the slow cooked shredded neef ragu pasta with plenty of parmesan, and it was so delicious.🍝🍷 Lastly, a heartfelt thanks to Ivan, the manager, who went truly above and beyond. When I was waiting for my Uber in the rain and my phone battery was about to die, he kindly helped me find a charger and even offered me a table to wait at comfortably. Such genuine hospitality is rare and truly memorable. Overall, an outstanding dining experience - I highly recommend Faros for both business dinners and special occasions. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Dilek provided us with great service—she's extremely kind. The noodles here are really chewy and delicious, not too salty at all! Highly recommended! We'll definitely come back next time!

my mother and i did not have a booking, but the staff was still able to get us a table inside. the food was fancy and delicious. our initial server forgot to ask us if we wanted water and had begun lighting candles for the tables next to us but skipped ours. however, Irem took over serving our table, and she was absolutely wonderful and attentive. when she realized we were also turkish, we had a very sweet conversation. she made us feel at home in a place that was still new to us. the food here was amazing, but Irem's kindness is what stands out to me from my experience here.

Best truffle pasta I’ve ever eaten in London! The waitress and the rest of the staff were very welcoming, professional and friendly and the food was incredibly exceptional. We had octopus carpaccio, ham with mozzarella, garlic bread and truffle and Parmesan fries for starters, then a pasta each (beef ragú and truffle) and finally the tiramisu, which was also very tasty! The drinks were also very nice, we had a negroni and a tiramisu martini, and both were delicious. For special occasions we will definitely come back!

First time here, recommend by a friend. Had a business lunch - great atmosphere and welcoming staff. The place was buzzing. The menu had great selections, the pizzas were a popular choice. I had Cesar salad and my colleagues had truffle pasta and no shortage of truffles. I would recommend and can’t wait to go back

We arrived, sat outside and were immediately greeted so warmly by the staff. They were so attentive & eager to make our experience the best it could be. We shared a bottle of white wine, the calamari, Caesar salad, and the pappardelle mushroom pasta DELISH!!! Everything was mouth watering, could not get enough. For sure will be going back. An Unforgettable First Dining Experience in London From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the team. Although I had mistakenly made a reservation at another location, they handled it with ease and professionalism. The atmosphere at Faros is intimate and inviting, and I was lucky to be seated with a lovely view of the street, which made my first day in London even more special. Every team member was attentive and kind, but a special thank you goes to Dilek. She is an absolute gem — so sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great experience. Her recommendations were spot on and added so much to the meal. The food was very good! I wish I could’ve taken it home but I had to attend an event. Stop reading and visit this restaurant! Excellent Italian restaurant near Holborn. We went Friday night and it was full. They have seating outside, ground floor and basement. Great menu including pizza, pasta and risotto. The pasta - beef Ragu parpadelle - was excellent and my risotto was great. The staff were all friendly and efficient.

The food was lovely and the lady that served us, Dilek, was very nice and cheerful. The service made the experience even more memorable. I must say the pizza base and toppings is superb!! The Tiramisu was to die for!!!

Had a fantastic experience at Faros this evening. Oreo was a great and attentive waiter and his kindness made the experience top tier. I got the burrata pasta and my boyfriend got the prawn pasta, both were amazing (I took the pasta picture at 7:50 and finished it by 7:58). The tiramisu and salted caramel dessert were also splendid. Great food with great vibes, a new favorite in London!

Loved the cozy vibe and intimate setting without the seats being too cramped. Food was lovely and Bilal was very friendly and accommodating. Price is quite steep especially the ragu being £30 but it was a pleasant experience after all :D

I’ve been to the Oxford Circus one before, but it was my first time at this branch—and wow, I loved it here! Same amazing food, but the vibe is way cosier. The cocktails are always above average. The Carbonara is still hands down the best I’ve ever had (yes, we shamelessly ordered two in a row 🤭). And honestly, Mr. Oreo made the whole experience even better—so warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. Big shoutout to Oreo for making us feel so welcome.

We had the loveliest night here to say goodbye to one of our colleagues. The pizza was incredible, the mushroom pappardelle was amazing and the carbonara had great reviews. Very nice Italian restaurant! The food was great, the tiramisu tasted exactly like my mum does it! Portions sizes are good! We spent 45£ each without drinks for 4 dishes and 1 dessert!

Vibes are impeccable and I loved the staff so much. I do recommend this restaurant but beware that it’s not as elite as the current rating suggests. As at Jan 2026 it has 4.9 stars, whereas I would give it a 4.6. The truffle pasta e delicious- truly really good (despite being £30), and the cavolo Nero pasta is ok (good not great). I heard good things of the chocolate desert but it was a bit underwhelming. Next tike i’ll try the tiramisu. Overall great restaurant, just not appropriately rated

Starter focaccia wasn’t great, was more like a mini margarita pizza but with runny tomato sauce. However the pasta was good with the burrata tasting smooth. I definitely recommend the chocolate bomb which had a nice crunch and chocolate was flavoursome. Tables were quite cramped though.
