Had an amazing breakfast at this spot, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast was perfectly balanced—light yet rich in flavor. The English breakfast was hearty and well-prepared, with every element cooked to perfection. On top of the incredible food, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. A fantastic way to start the day, and definitely a place worth returning to!

Came in a party of 4 at around 20.10 with no reservation. Ordered as starter “carpaccio beef” which was deliciously fresh. Ordered each a different dish and shared. The pizza was crusty and flavored however a bit too greasy. The prawns spaghetti and lobster spaghetti were great and nicely cooked but again a bit greasy. The chicken was were very crispy and dry which is expected but when paired with the spinach it was absolutely nice combination. The spinach (not pictured) was well seasoned. The service was good though a bit smile wouldn’t hurt. Probably because we didn’t order any alcoholic beverages. Around 21.00 the restaurant was almost full on a Friday night.

I had the absolute best experience here! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly and they made us feel right at home. Dani and Valeria both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service, atmosphere, and food were all incredible. Overall, the whole experience was amazing and I can’t wait to come back!

I’m not sure that I would have known to eat at Luciano If I had not been staying at the ME London hotel, But I am so glad that I did. The food and the service were outstanding. I loved the light and cheerful decor. The service was also outstanding and the food was some What’s one of the best meals in my recent trip to London. I can’t recommend this place enough. Additionally, Luciano Is also Has an outstanding breakfast. If you’re in the area, make sure to give this place a try.

We booked the restaurant to go to before our show. The food was great, so much to choose from on the menu. The prices are reasonable and they offer a pre-theatre menu. The service was slightly on the slow side but the staff looked very busy and were very polite, apologising for the delay. There is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and toilets are clean.

Me and my friends had a really great time . The food was very good and Carmine the waitress was so kind and fun to talk to.

A lovely time spent enjoying drinks and bread at the weekend. We were having afternoon tea elsewhere but wanted to come here for cocktails. It’s a warming atmosphere and the staff were attentive. The food looked good, and would have like to have eaten here! But there’s always a next time!! The bread we’d chosen was delicious and fresh, and the accompanying pesto dip was amazing!

Beautiful venue, superb faultless service from the team, and delicious food. I just wish I had saved space for a desert. The decoration in the main dining room is beautiful. There seemed to be lots of parties of ladies but no issues - it’s close to theatre land, hence our visit. We will definitely return and have recommended to our son.

This was our 5th visit and on arrival we were seated next to table where Gino and Fred Sirieix were seated. So as you can imagine the restaurant was busy as people wanted a photo/chat etc. We waited 10/15 minutes before ordering water and wine and waited a further 5 minutes for the wine to arrive. When the food arrived it was lovely. The starters of Ribs and Prawn cocktail were great. The meat just fell off the ribs. Mains followed and again no complaints. Food was great but due to the restaurant being busy ( which is great ) the service was not as efficient as on previous visits, saying that the servers were all nice. We had to keep asking for our wine to topped up and due to time constraints we were unable to order and enjoy the lovely cocktails at the end of the meal. Next time….Thank you

We’ve been to Luciano by Gino D’Acampo a few times now and it never disappoints. The pizza is always the highlight — always tasty, Portions are generous, the staff are friendly without being over the top, and for the quality of food you get, it’s genuinely great value. It’s one of those places we keep going back to because we know you’re going to have a good meal and a good time.

Absolutely amazing service; we asked for a taste of the carbonara and our lovely server, Ali, got us an entire small portion made to taste - 10/10 service for this! Special shout out and thank you to Camilo and Ali!! The food was lovely but pizzas were cold coming out. Also, they were not cut which I think they should be beforehand (at least handed a pizza cutter). Service and staff were impeccable and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable on the menu! Atmosphere was lovely. Would highly recommend and will 100% be back! Thank you so much to all who work so hard here!

Had the absolute most amazing dinner here celebrating my birthday before going to see Mamma Mia and our server Ali was absolutely flawless. There wasn’t anything that was too big an ask! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back on our next wear and theatre outing!!!!

We had a fantastic experience at Radio Rooftop! The staff were incredibly kind, and their professionalism truly shows. Ádám is an excellent waiter—attentive and polite. Roland and Szabolcs, the managers, were also very friendly and helpful when serving us. Stavros, the bartender, made amazing cocktails, and the professionalism is evident in everyone. I can only recommend this place!

Me and my partner just had dinner there and the food was excellent. The Spaghetti Al Tartufo was delicious. Shout out to Ellie for being very friendly and professional.

Luciano left me speechless as soon as i entered. The receptionist team were exceptionally warm and welcoming starting off my evening very well, witb loads of appreciation thanks to them. The dishes are excellent, rich in taste of every herb, the exciting combination of flavour within each bite and the true taste of culinary magic. I enjoyed my time at Luciano and would recommend it to anyone!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The staff were polite and attentive, and the service was quick. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Definitely one of the best spots to enjoy a good meal — highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked here for my daughters 21st BD before the theatre and we would give them another star if we could. They were welcoming, friendly and we were very happy with the food and service. They even sung with gratis desert at the end to finish the night off. Thanks to Ali as he was great. Must recomend.

I have visited twice, once in December and again in April. Both times the food was delicious and the service was good. Our December visit was for late Sunday lunch which was much more relaxed vs the April after work dinner, because we got lucky that there were no bookings after us that Sunday! Definitely visit again. Recommend booking.

Luciano had a lovely atmosphere and was a comfortable & spacious place to enjoy a meal with a friend. Located right next to Covent Garden it’s the perfect place for a pre-theatre meal before catching a show or celebrate a birthday. The food was great value for money- I would recommend pairing with a suitable wine. Ratings * Taste: 7/10 * Service: 7/10 * Price: reasonable * Presentation: 7/10

I visited this restaurant for lunch yesterday with a group of friends. The restaurant, based in Aldwych, is beautiful. Perfect for theatre goers in the area. The decor is light, airy and tranquil but has a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our food was delicious and portions were generous. We opted for the Fantastico set menu, two courses for £25, which was excellent value. One of our group is gluten free and she enjoyed two of their many gluten free options. Service was excellent. We all said we will go again soon.

A lovely venue for a reunion of old friends. Pros: A warm welcome at the front door; plenty of space in the dining room. Top tier service from our charming waiter Martino who was friendly without being obsequious. Fancy bathrooms are worth poking your head in just to have a look, especially the sturdy hand towels that certainly aren't going to disintegrate in your hands. Cons: Erratic seasoning (salmon pasta was over-seasoned, mushroom risotto was under-seasoned, lasagna was just right). The sides - roast potato and courgette fritti - were nothing to write home about. Given the generous portion sizes, I wouldn't bother, although there were some dissenting voices on this particular opinion from my group. A few oversights from the service - an overlooked tiramisu and a milk incident - that we don't need to ponder. Highlight: the lasagna. A beautiful sweet tomato sauce, warming cheese, and a dollop of pesto for a cheeky surprise (much like Gino himself) Final watch-out: One member of our group reported that the menu online was cheaper than the menu in person. Overall: we recommend :)

My partner booked for us to eat here prior to attending the theatre. Front of house were polite and professional and ensured our coats were taken. Our waiter was Martino, who was superb throughout, a real credit to the establishment. The food and drinks were thoroughly enjoyable, we had a lovely time. The only reason I've gone 4 stars was the state of the gents toilets. There was toilet paper strewn about in the cubicles and urine on one of the seats. I know this is down to the customers use of the facilities but it could be picked up on by staff with more checks. I'd recommend this place to friends and family all in all.

A little underwhelming unfortunately. Food was average at best. Service was good, but it should be with a 13.5% service charge automatically applied to the bill. Wouldn't eat here again, even with the 50% off food voucher we had.

We were excited to try Luciano because we follow Gino D’Acampo. However we were left underwhelmed by the experience. First the good - The service is first rate and Giovanni was fantastic. For antipasti we had the prosciutto and melon; and the garlic bread. The prosciutto was fresh but was served with honey dew, which lacked flavor, instead of cantaloupe. The garlic bread with tomatoes and basil was delicious. Our main meals were the underwhelming part of the evening. The Trofie Al Salmone Affumicato was overly salty. The Trofie All’Arrabbiata was bland. The Bucatini Alla Carbonara was cold and the sauce had congealed. The pasta was dry and the dish overall was gritty. Completely unappetizing. It was unfortunate that the experience didn’t live up to our expectations.

Taste-wise nothing special. We found some sand in many mussel which is disappointing. The server did nothing with our complain. The restaurant decorate nicely and convenient if you stay at Me London hotel.

We went there today for lunch. The food was very good. My partner had a pizza and I had spinach ravioli. I have to say the quantity of the ravioli was just not enough for 1 person. It’s simply not enough for one serving which is a shame because other pasta dishes seemed to have more quantity. Moreover, I was very disappointed with the service. They kept forgetting our table. We had to call them everytime after every dish for them to come to our table (and this was after waiting a long time). After kindly complaining to them that we had been waiting for a long time, we weren’t offered some kind gesture to compensate and they still kept forgeting our table. But I acknowledge that they were busy with bigger tables. Overall it was ok, but still a bit disappointed.

Slightly disappointed by this experience. As someone who has been Ceoliac for several years and eaten over 10 countries gluten free, I found this experience fairly disappointing. I have also watched Gino on TV so was excited to eat here. The atmosphere was lovely and the decor was great. Lighting and comfort was splendid. Drinks were very overpriced and cocktail wasn't very strong or very good. The pasta tasted like the basic shop bought pasta from Sainsbury's - not homemade like I'd hope for from an Italian. The sauce was delicious and so was the fish. My partner very much enjoyed his calzone & beer but gluten free options (quality) could definitely be improved. Very good location and helpful staff.

Whilst service was good the food left a lot to be desired. The bruschetta al pomodoro was tasty but very small, my brother and I certainly regretted sharing it. At £11.50 we were expecting more than two small slices. The ravioli were scarce and very bland and the bucatini was al dente to the point where there was a bit of work involved in chewing it. Won't be making a return visit.

Two of us went for lunch Sunday 8/2, beautiful decor. Very quiet few people, waited 45 minutes for a salad. When I enquired, discovered they had forgotten my order. When food arrived, was pleased to see a very generous serving, however zucchini fritti were inedible, ruined by way too much salt and extremely greasy. Service was poor, had to continuously call the waiter over. He didn't once ask if we wanted anything else.

We went to Lucianos on Friday night for dinner and then again for breakfast the morning after as it was part of the bed and breakfast from the hotel ‘ME’ that we were staying at. To begin with when we first arrived for dinner, there was nobody waiting at the entrance to greet guests and we were confused as to where to find someone to sit us to our table. A waiter walked past us and didn’t say “hello” or anything of the sort and greeted us with “give me a second to find someone”. Once someone was found, they asked the booking name and sat us to a table. We did get a lovely smile and hello from a server but that was about the only smile we saw all night. Once sat, we had some water for the table and then waited around 15 minutes before getting asked what we wanted for drinks and food. I felt that the server was quite unprofessional with us, never making eye contact, never came to check on how our food was, and took a while between courses to come and clear food. There was no conversation made and it all felt quite forced. Bare in mind it wasn’t overly busy in the restaurant at this time (9-10pm) and nobody seemed rushed off their feet. I noticed waiters and waitresses stood chatting while we were waiting to be served, table cleared, for the bill etc. This all made the experience immediately less enjoyable and made us quite irritable as we couldn’t relax properly for our evening meal. Onto breakfast. We had higher hopes as it was a new day and a separate experience, but were severely let down as the experience was worse than the night before. I noticed multiple tables getting annoyed and having to ask for missing food and drinks just as we had to, and I never received one of the hot drinks that I ordered despite us reminding staff that we were missing drinks. Our food came cold as it was clearly sat waiting to be served for a while (guests can see the food sat waiting). Our poor server was rushed off his feet, attending to multiple tables as other staff sauntered around like they had nothing to do. The food was okay on both occasions, and well presented, nothing to complain about in particular other than it being cold in the morning, but something needs to be done about the service!! I couldn’t believe my eyes. And the amount of waiting for food and drinks ruined everything for us. I’m not one to usually complain, and will usually let things slide, but when you’re paying for “higher end” food and service you expect to receive high end food and service. Having previously worked in hospitality in a high quality restaurant, and knowing how to be simply polite, professional and attentive with guests, I was appalled with what I had witnessed. Sincerely, two disappointed guests of the gino d’acampo restaurant.

Pleasant environment. Superb service from Gianni our waiter… but sadly let down by the quality of 3/4 of the food. The veal Milanese was dry, tough & difficult to slice even with a steak knife. Topped with deep fried sage leaves & some cold roasted garlic cloves that lacked flavour or a punch the dish was generally bland & greasy. The brocoletti pecorino also wasn’t tenderstem as advertised but a very overcooked watery batch of broccoli heads. The pasta was the better of our choices but overall an expensive, sub-average meal. Shame, since the bill for 3 persons was almost £200

We stopped in on a Sunday evening around 5:30 pm without reservations. There was not another patron in the building. Service started okay, though we never got an introduction from our server (Renato was his name according to the receipt). Service quickly declined to nearly nothing when other tables began to show up (locals and second-timers based on observations made, of which received attentive and timely service in a quicker pace than the first sat table [us]; there were only a total of four tables in the restaurant throughout our dining experience). The service provided came off as though we were unwelcome guests. No one checked on us to see if we enjoyed our meals or needed drink refills, and our meals had been delivered by someone other than our server. The food was lack-luster and needed more flavor and passion. We ultimately had to request our check ourselves since making eye contact with our server and waving at the maître d’ did nothing but make them both disappear. Would not recommend, there are plenty of other places to spend your money. They also charge for still water.

We visited Luciano by Gino D’Acampo on Valentine’s Night. While the food was good overall, the service was very disappointing. We waited a long time for our main course, and once it arrived, our waitress did not return to our table for the rest of the night. We had to repeatedly flag down staff for basic service and our table was only cleared when we stopped another waiter for the dessert menu. Despite receiving it, no one came back to take our order. In the end, we decided to leave and even had to stand up and ask to pay, as no one came to our table. When we mentioned our experience at the till, we were simply told to “leave a review,” which felt dismissive. We understand Valentine’s Night is busy, but from what we could observe, our waitress did not appear rushed. As guests, we should not have to chase staff for basic service!

Tonight, my daughter and I visited Gino D’Acampo’s London restaurant while on a Christmas trip to London, expecting it to be a special treat. On arrival, the restaurant looked lovely. The décor was attractive, we were greeted at the door, and the staff initially appeared professional and polite. We were seated at a nice table, and our waiter was friendly. We ordered San Pellegrino lemonade, although an orange drink was brought instead. It wasn’t a big issue, so we let it go. We already knew what we wanted to order, as my daughter has previously visited the same restaurant in Leeds and had the seafood linguine, which was excellent. That version came with a tomato-based sauce, but as neither of us likes tomatoes, we asked if a white sauce was possible. In the Leeds restaurant this was happily accommodated with a delicious creamy sauce. The waiter in London confirmed that a white wine sauce would be fine. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it was extremely disappointing. Although service was quick, the dish itself bore little resemblance to what we had expected. There was a very small portion of linguine, the mussels and clams were tiny, the calamari was extremely tough, and we had only two prawns each, which were average at best. Most disappointing of all, there was virtually no sauce at all. We were not offered Parmesan cheese. When we asked, the waiter told us that “Gino does not approve of cheese on fish” and refused. Eventually, a waitress agreed to bring some, but it was served begrudgingly — just one teaspoon spooned onto my plate, with more added reluctantly after I asked again. The total bill came to £80, including a £9.80 service charge. Frankly, the meal was awful, and we actually left feeling hungrier than when we arrived. When the waiter asked if everything was okay, I replied “um, yeah,” and I think he could tell we were far from impressed. Having eaten the same dish at the Leeds restaurant, the difference in quality was shocking. The London version was dire by comparison. The photos show the same dish — the first from Leeds, the second from London — and speak for themselves.

There was only word to describe the level of service and food we received at Lucianos. Disappointing. From the start of our dining experience at this restaurant, we were unsure to say the least. We were seated next to a gentleman who was complaining about the level of service and we had only been seated for five minutes. Thinking he was being dramatic we stayed seated and looked over the menu. Our waiter came to take our order (we ordered drinks, a starter each and a main). For some very strange reason our starters came before our drinks, we were slightly confused by this. My friend who ordered a starter which only contained three ingredients total was missing the main ingredient - basil? When she politely asked for some basil the waiter had an attitude and asked her if she didn’t have enough, to which she replied there’s none on the plate. Once we had finished our starters, our mains were swiftly put in front of us, we wondered why. Clearly the kitchen were rushing orders (in frankly what was an empty restaurant) as both of our dishes were undercooked and frankly abysmal. I left almost all of my pasta. Our waiter did not ask how our meal was at any point, and when clearing away our plates did not ask if we had enjoyed. We then had the trouble of trying to catch anyone’s attention for the bill as it seemed like most staff were wandering around. Reluctantly we paid the bill and full service charge. The whole experience was laughable and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants have a nice decent meal. Paying such a high service charge for individuals that were rude and not really doing their job properly felt like a kick in the teeth. Going forward we will think long and hard before booking with a restaurant like yours again, as we left hungrier than when we came in. To anyone thinking about booking here for a meal, think again and save yourself the trouble and money. They’re are plenty of wonderful places that actually serve edible food!

I booked this to celebrate my nieces birthday, the service was slow, the food is terrible compared to the restaurant in Milan which made me book this restaurant, then they came over while we were still awaiting dessert and coffee we had ordered to demand the table back in 10 minutes. Which made the younger members feel uncomfortable and rush there food when it finally arrived. The rudeness of the staff was disgraceful. We then couldn’t get the bill to pay and leave which made there rude warning all the worst. I can’t state enough this is not worth the £200 plus price tag for 4 main meals and 1 dessert and 4 drinks! Don’t go here which is a shame!

This was honestly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. If I could, I would give 0 stars. We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day (14th February) and arrived at the restaurant, but our order was extremely delayed. Despite asking three different staff members a total of five times, our drinks never arrived. The food was very tasteless and excessively greasy. The staff were completely inattentive and unhelpful. When we finally asked for the bill, we waited over 10 minutes just for it to arrive. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Definitely do not go.

I just had the rudest interaction with a staff member over the phone. I was just speaking to someone about having to cancel my booking because of illness, and she was very rude. Firstly, she did not take the time to find my booking, even though I told her that it had been confirmed and trhat I had paid a deposit. Secondly, she ended the call by saying she can't find my booking and because I was going to cancel it doesn't matter anyway. Thirdly, she did not mention anything about my deposit or even give me a chance to even suggest rescheduling my booking. I found the whole interaction very rude and unprofessional. I didn't catch her name but she has definitely tainted any possibility of me dining at this restaurant in future. Which is a shame because I was looking forward to it but with that reception over the phone there's no telling what a face to face interaction would be like. Addition: since writing this review management have contacted me. They found my booking and cancelled it, apologised on behalf of their staff member, said they would refund me the deposit and offered a good will gesture if I do decide to dine there in future. I would really like the opportunity to actually give a proper review, so I am keeping this offer in mind.
