Nordstrom Grill – Nordstrom Park Meadows

we went to nordstrom grill for lunch. we were seated right away. karen was our server and so nice. we had the delicious house special soup. chicken pot pie soup. was amazing. so delicious. my friend said it was the best soup she has ever had. it was so good. she had the tacos and i actually ate 2 of them since she was full after the soup and two tacos. four total. i had a half french dip sandwich which was great and a bowel of the same soup. very good.

Unfortunate situation at the Nordstrom Grill/Staff saves the experience. My nieces chose the Grill to celebrate a new job! The food and service were amazing as always. There was an older gal on a very loud FaceTime call that the whole restaurant could hear. One of the staff (a sweet guy with curly dark hair) asked her to please turn the volume down. (With WAY more kindness than she deserved.) She fussed back at him and threatened to call his manager. Anyone in on a GoFundMe to buy this self-centered customer some ear buds? Or a PSA for the world to bring awareness to the idea that when you leave your house you are not eating alone at a busy restaurant at dinner time.

Always enjoy eating here rather than the mall food court as its just a nice break in our shopping. However, yesterday (Monday) we had a quick lunch here and our server Ken was just incredible. He simply went above and beyond and is an amazing server on all levels. Thank you, Ken, for making our day so much nicer than it could have been. We appreciated you and your effort!

Catching up with an old friend, we chose Nordstrom Grill for a relaxed lunch. We started with a glass of red wine—$14 for a rather basic pour felt steep. I went with the burger and fries, while my friend opted for the steak salad. The burger was solid, satisfying without trying too hard. The fries, however, came with a mustard-based sauce that missed the mark—odd pairing and not particularly tasty. Overall, the experience was pleasant. The atmosphere was comfortable, the service attentive, and the food mostly delivered. Just be prepared: this isn’t a budget-friendly spot. I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

Came in Super Bowl Sunday and was pretty dead. They had to re do my burger because it was barely cooked. Not that big of a deal, except it took a long time. The food is pretty good! The problem was more about lack of service. Never came back to refill water, never came back to inform us that the burger would take a bit longer. Wasn’t that friendly. We just sat there in an empty restaurant seeing if she would ever come back. We still gave her a good tip, but I think customer service needs an overhaul.

First time at the restaurant, our server was kind, but forgot my glass of wine until I reminded her and we were almost ready to leave by the time I got it as we had finished our food by then. She brought the wine and it was not what I ordered. I'm sure everyone has an off day, so I kept what she gave me even though she offered to exchange it. For our first time, I was disappointed especially since the wine I paid for was about $20 for 9oz, not sure we will be back.

I got a French dip and salad. It was okay, the salad was definitely disappointing. Come on, if you're going to charge that much, at least serve a bowl of greens and not a little on the plate, and definitely nix the Kraft Parmesan cheese on top. Ruined it. The service was the best part.

2 stars is generous. Calamari was extremely chewy. My wife's "Lavender Fiz" drink was just sprite and lemon juice. Pasta was a bit peppery, but not terrible. Her shrimp had clearly started to go bad with an extreme fishy profile and her pasta quite bland. Nearly $100 for just the two of us to get sub-par food isn't acceptable. The service could have been better as it took nearly 10 minutes after being seated to be addressed by our server. The atmosphere is outdated and resembled an "upscale cafeteria". We will not be returning.

2 stars might be generous. Not what I expect of a Nordstrom cafe. Took over 40 minutes to get served and overpriced portions were small. Waiter mentioned his truck just got stolen right before handing us our check, presumably for a bigger tip. Then he handed me back someone else’s debit card and gave my credit card to another patron. I didn’t notice for 2 days as the cards were from the same bank. I called and spoke to the manager who said she would try to find the guest whose debit card I got on LinkedIn and contact him. It’s been weeks and she’s never called back. I would think a restaurant would have offered to comp my meal or offer a gift certificate for my inconvenience caused by their mistake, and which I’ve never had happen in decades of using credit cards at restaurants. It took nearly 3 weeks for me to get my card replaced. And during the one call I had with the manager, she kept dismissively referring to me as “hon.” It was extremely off putting. I will not be going back.

Menu has no symbol to denote vegan and upon review does not appear to support sustainable movement. Uneventful though the ambience is appealing and front staff was pleasant.
